נביא אכלי בגרונך לא תמנע כקל שופרא ארים קלך וחוי לעמי מרדיהון ולבית יעקב חוביהון:
khwbyhwn yeqb wlbyth mrdyhwn lemy wkhwy qlk arym shwpra kql thmne la bgrwnk akly nbya
“Cry aloud! Don’t spare! Lift up your voice like a trumpet! Declare to my people their disobedience, and to the house of Jacob their sins.

וקדמי יום יום אולפן תבעין כאלו למידע אורחן דתקנן קדמי צבן כעמא דזכו עבד ומדין אלהה לא אתרחק שאלין מן קדמי דין וקשוט כאלו לאתקרבא לדחלתא דיי צבן:
tsbn dyy ldkhltha lathqrba kalw wqshwT dyn qdmy mn shalyn athrkhq la alhh wmdyn ebd dzkw kema tsbn qdmy dthqnn awrkhn lmyde kalw thbeyn awlpn ywm ywm wqdmy
Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways. As a nation that did righteousness, and didn’t forsake the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments. They delight to draw near to God.

אמרין למא אנחנא צימין וקדמך גלי מסגפין נפשתנא וקדמך ידיע נביא אמר להון הא ביום תעניתכון אתון תבעין צרכיכון וכן תקלתכון אתון מקרבין:
mqrbyn athwn thqlthkwn wkn tsrkykwn thbeyn athwn thenythkwn bywm ha lhwn amr nbya ydye wqdmk npshthna msgpyn gly wqdmk tsymyn ankhna lma amryn
‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and you don’t see? Why have we afflicted our soul, and you don’t notice?’ “Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and oppress all your laborers.

הן לתחרו ולמצו אתון צימין ולממחי בכורמיזא דרשעא לא תתענון תענין כאלין לאשמעא במרומא קלכון:
qlkwn bmrwma lashmea kalyn thenyn ththenwn la drshea bkwrmyza wlmmkhy tsymyn athwn wlmtsw lthkhrw hn
Behold, you fast for strife and contention, and to strike with the fist of wickedness. You don’t fast today so as to make your voice to be heard on high.

ההדא הוא תעניתא דרעינא בה יומא דמסגף אנשא נפשה כפיף רישה כאגמון כפיף ועל סקא וקיטמא באית הלדא אתון קרן תענית ויומא דרעוא ביה מן קדם יי:
yy qdm mn byh drewa wywma thenyth qrn athwn hlda bayth wqyTma sqa wel kpyp kagmwn ryshh kpyp npshh ansha dmsgp ywma bh dreyna thenytha hwa hhda
Is this the fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to humble his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under himself? Will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Yahweh?

הלא דא היא תעניתא דרעינא בה פרדו כנישת רשעא שרו קטרי כתבי דין מסטי ופטרו דהוו אנוסין בני חורין וכל דין מסטי תסלקון:
thslqwn msTy dyn wkl khwryn bny anwsyn dhww wpTrw msTy dyn kthby qTry shrw rshea knyshth prdw bh dreyna thenytha hya da hla
“Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?

הלא תפרנס לכפנא מלחמך וחשיבין מטלטלין תעיל לגו ביתא ארי תחזי ערטילאה ותכסינה ומקריב בשרך לא תכבוש עינך:
eynk thkbwsh la bshrk wmqryb wthksynh erTylah thkhzy ary bytha lgw theyl mTlTlyn wkhshybyn mlkhmk lkpna thprns hla
Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh?

בכן יתגלי כשפרפרא נהורך ואסות מחתך בפריע תיסק ויהכון קדמך זכותך ביקר מן קדם יי תתכניש:
ththknysh yy qdm mn byqr zkwthk qdmk wyhkwn thysq bprye mkhthk waswth nhwrk kshprpra ythgly bkn
Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness shall go before you, and Yahweh’s glory will be your rear guard.

בכן תצלי ויי יקבל צלותך תבעי מן קדמוהי ויעבד בעותך אם תעדי מבינך אסטיות דין מרמז באצבע ומלילא מלין דאונס:
dawns mlyn wmlyla batsbe mrmz dyn asTywth mbynk thedy am bewthk wyebd qdmwhy mn thbey tslwthk yqbl wyy thtsly bkn
Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer. You will cry for help, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away from among you the yoke, finger pointing, and speaking wickedly;

ותתפח קדם כפנא נפשך ונפש מסגפא תשבע וידנח בחשוכא נהורך וקבלך יהי כטהרא:
kThra yhy wqblk nhwrk bkhshwka wydnkh thshbe msgpa wnpsh npshk kpna qdm wththpkh
and if you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday;

וידברינך יי תדירא וישבע בשני בצורתא נפשך וגופך וחיי בחיי עלמא ותהי נפשך מליא תפנוקין כגנת שקיא דמרויא וכמבוע דמיין דלא פסקין מוהי:
mwhy psqyn dla dmyyn wkmbwe dmrwya shqya kgnth thpnwqyn mlya npshk wthhy elma bkhyy wkhyy wgwpk npshk btswrtha bshny wyshbe thdyra yy wydbrynk
and Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.

ויבנון מנך חרבת עלם יסודי דר ודר תקומם ויקרון לך מקיים אורחא דתקנא מתיב רשיעיא לאוריתא:
lawrytha rshyeya mthyb dthqna awrkha mqyym lk wyqrwn thqwmm wdr dr yswdy elm khrbth mnk wybnwn
Those who will be of you will build the old waste places. You will raise up the foundations of many generations. You will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Paths with Dwellings.

אם תתיב משבתא רגלך למעבד צורכך ביומא דקודשי ותערע לשבתא בתפנוקין לקדישא דיי תיקר ותיקר קדמוהי מלמעבד אורחך מלספקא צורכך ומללא מלין דאונס:
dawns mlyn wmlla tswrkk mlspqa awrkhk mlmebd qdmwhy wthyqr thyqr dyy lqdysha bthpnwqyn lshbtha wthere dqwdshy bywma tswrkk lmebd rglk mshbtha ththyb am
“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of Yahweh honorable, and honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,

בכן תתפנק קדם יי וישרינך על תוקפי ארעא ויוכלינך פרי אחסנת יעקב אבוך ארי במימרא דיי גזיר כן:
kn gzyr dyy bmymra ary abwk yeqb akhsnth pry wywklynk area thwqpy el wyshrynk yy qdm ththpnq bkn
then you will delight yourself in Yahweh, and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father;” for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken it.
