ܗܐ ܙܕܝܩܐ ܐܒܕ ܘܠܝܬ ܐܢܫ ܕܡܝܬܐ ܥܠ ܒܠܗ ܘܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܚ̈ܣܝܐ ܡܬܟܢܫܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܣܘܟܠܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܡܬܟܢܫ ܙܕܝܩܐ
zdyq' mthknsh byshth' qdm dmn mTl swkl' dl' mthknshyn khsy' wgbr' blh el dmyth' 'nsh wlyth 'bd zdyq' h'
The righteous perish, and no one lays it to heart. Merciful men are taken away, and no one considers that the righteous is taken away from the evil.

ܘܢܐܬܐ ܫܠܡܐ ܘܢܬܬܢܝܚܘܢ ܥܠ ܡܫܟܒܗܘܢ ܘܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܠܘܩܒܠܗܘܢ
lwqblhwn wn'zlwn mshkbhwn el wnththnykhwn shlm' wn'th'
He enters into peace. They rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.

ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܩܪܘܒܘ ܠܟܐ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܡܡܟܟܬܐ ܙܪܥܐ ܓܝܪܐ ܘܙܢܝܐ
wzny' gyr' zre' mmkkth' bny lk' qrwbw w'nthwn
“But draw near here, you sons of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes.

ܥܠ ܡ̇ܢ ܐܬܠܥܒܬܘܢ ܘܥܠ ܡ̇ܢ ܦܬܚܬܘܢ ܦܘܡܟܘܢ ܘܐܘܪܟܬܘܢ ܠܫܢܟܘܢ ܕܗܐ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܝܠܕܐ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܥܘܠܐ ܘܙܪܥܐ ܕܓܠܐ
dgl' wzre' dewl' 'nthwn yld' 'nthwn dh' lshnkwn w'wrkthwn pwmkwn pthkhthwn mn wel 'thlebthwn mn el
Whom do you mock? Against whom do you make a wide mouth and stick out your tongue? Aren’t you children of disobedience and offspring of falsehood,

ܕܡܬܒܝܐܝܢ ܒܦܬܟܪ̈ܐ ܬܚܝܬ ܟܠ ܐܝܠܢ ܕܥܒܐ ܘܢܟܣܬܘܢ ܛ̈ܠܝܐ ܒܢ̈ܚܠܐ ܬܚܝܬ ܫܩܝ̈ܦܐ ܕܟܐܦܐ

you who inflame yourselves among the oaks, under every green tree; who kill the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?

ܡܢܬܟܝ ܘܝܪܬܘܬܟܝ ܥܡ ܡܢܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܢܚ̈ܠܐ ܘܐܦ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܢܩܝܬܝ ܢܘܩ̈ܝܐ ܘܐܣܩܬܝ ܩܘܪ̈ܒܢܐ ܥܠ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܬܒܝܐ
'thby' hlyn el qwrbn' w'sqthy nwqy' nqythy elyhwn w'p dnkhl' hy mnth' em wyrthwthky mnthky
Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion. They, they are your lot. You have even poured a drink offering to them. You have offered an offering. Shall I be appeased for these things?

ܥܠ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܪ̈ܡܐ ܘܡܫܩ̈ܠܐ ܥܒܕܬܝ ܡܫܟܒܟܝ ܘܐܦ ܠܬܡܢ ܣܠܩܬܝ ܠܡܕܒܚ ܕܒ̈ܚܐ

On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed. You also went up there to offer sacrifice.

ܘܒܣܬܪ ܬܪ̈ܥܐ ܥܠ ܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܐ ܪܫܡܬܝ ܕܘܟܪܢܟܝ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܬܝ ܓܠܝܬܝ ܘܣܠܩܬܝ ܘܪܘܚܬܝ ܡܫܟܒܟܝ ܘܗܘܝܬܝ ܠܟܝ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܘܪܚܡܬܝ ܡܫܟܒܗܘܢ ܘܐܬܪܐ ܚܙܝܬܝ
khzythy w'thr' mshkbhwn wrkhmthy mnhwn lky whwythy mshkbky wrwkhthy wslqthy glythy lwthy dmn mTl dwkrnky rshmthy prwsthd' el thre' wbsthr
You have set up your memorial behind the doors and the posts, for you have exposed yourself to someone besides me, and have gone up. You have enlarged your bed and made you a covenant with them. You loved what you saw on their bed.

ܘܐܫܬܒܚܬܝ ܠܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܒܡܫܚܐ ܘܐܣܓܝܬܝ ܒܣܡ̈ܝܟܝ ܘܫܕܪܬܝ ܐܝܙ̈ܓܕܝܟܝ ܠܪܘܚܩܐ ܘܐܬܡܟܟܬܝ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܝܘܠ
lshywl edm' w'thmkkthy lrwkhq' 'yzgdyky wshdrthy bsmyky w'sgythy bmshkh' lmlk' w'shthbkhthy
You went to the king with oil, increased your perfumes, sent your ambassadors far off, and degraded yourself even to Sheol.

ܒܣܘܓܐܬ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܟܝ ܠܐܝܬܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܡܪܬܝ ܕܐܫܠܐ ܒܚܘܒܬܐ ܕܐܝ̈ܕܝܟܝ ܐܫܝܚܬܝ ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܐܬܟܫܦܬܝ
'thkshpthy l' hn' mTl 'shykhthy d'ydyky bkhwbth' d'shl' 'mrthy wl' l'ythy 'wrkhthky bswg'th
You were wearied with the length of your ways; yet you didn’t say, ‘It is in vain.’ You found a reviving of your strength; therefore you weren’t faint.

ܡܢ ܡ̇ܢ ܐܬܪܗܒܬܝ ܘܕܚܠܬܝ ܕܟܕܒܬܝ ܒܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܬܕܟܪܬܝܢܝ ܘܠܐ ܚܫܒܬܝܢܝ ܒܠܒܟܝ ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܗܘ ܚܣܝܐ ܕܡܢ ܥܠܡ ܘܡܢܝ ܠܐ ܕܚܠܬܝ
dkhlthy l' wmny elm dmn khsy' hw 'n' h' blbky khshbthyny wl' 'thdkrthyny wl' by dkdbthy wdkhlthy 'thrhbthy mn mn
“Whom have you dreaded and feared, so that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven’t I held my peace for a long time, and you don’t fear me?

ܐܢܐ ܐܚܘܐ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܝ ܘܥ̇ܒ̈ܕܝܟܝ ܠܐ ܢܘܬܪܘܢܟܝ
nwthrwnky l' webdyky zdyqwthy 'khw' 'n'
I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they will not benefit you.

ܒܓܥܬܟܝ ܢܦܨܘܢܟܝ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܬܟܢܫܝܢ ܠܟܝ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܬܫܩܘܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܘܬܣܒ ܐܢܘܢ ܥܠܥܠܐ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܣܒܪܝܢ ܒܝ ܢܐܪܬܘܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܢܐܪܬܘܢ ܛܘܪܝ ܩܕܝܫܐ
qdysh' Twry wn'rthwn 're' n'rthwn by dmsbryn w'ylyn elel' 'nwn wthsb rwkh' 'nwn thshqwl lklhwn lky dmthknshyn 'ylyn nptswnky bgethky
When you cry, let those whom you have gathered deliver you, but the wind will take them. A breath will carry them all away, but he who takes refuge in me will possess the land, and will inherit my holy mountain.”

ܘܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܫܦܘ ܫܦܘ ܦܢܘ ܐܘܪܚܐ ܘܐܪܝܡܘ ܬܘܩ̈ܠܬܐ ܡܢ ܐܘܪܚܗ ܕܥܡܝ

He will say, “Build up, build up, prepare the way! Remove the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.”

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܡܐ ܘܡܫܩܠܐ ܕܫ̇ܪܐ ܠܥܠܡܝܢ ܘܩܕܝܫ ܫܡܗ ܡܪܝܡܐ ܘܩܕܝܫ ܡܫܪܝܗ ܠܡܟܝ̈ܟܐ ܘܠܥܝܝ̈ܩܝ ܪܘܚܐ ܠܡܚܝܘ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܡܟܝ̈ܟܐ ܘܠܡܚܝܘ ܠܒܐ ܕܡܟܐ̈ܒܐ
dmk'b' lb' wlmkhyw dmkyk' rwkh' lmkhyw rwkh' wleyyqy lmkyk' mshryh wqdysh mrym' shmh wqdysh lelmyn dshr' wmshql' mrym' 'mr dhkn' mTl
For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

ܡܛܠ ܕܠܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܐ̇ܠܡ ܐܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܪܓ̇ܙ ܐܢܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܢܦ̇ܩܐ ܘܢܫܡܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܒ̇ܕܬ
ebdth 'n' wnshmth' npq' qdmy mn drwkh' mTl 'n' rgz lelm wl' 'n' 'lm lelm dl' mTl
For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls whom I have made.

ܒܥܘܠܐ ܕܢܟܠܗ̇ ܪܓܙ̇ܬ ܘܡܚܝ̇ܬܗ̇ ܘܐܬ̇ܦܢܝܬ ܘܪܓܙ̇ܬ ܘܐܙܠܬ ܚܢܓܬܗ̇ ܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܠܒܗ̇
dlbh b'wrkh' khngthh w'zlth wrgzth w'thpnyth wmkhythh rgzth dnklh bewl'
I was angry because of the iniquity of his covetousness and struck him. I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.

ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܗ̇ ܚܙܝ̇ܬ ܘܐܣܝ̇ܬܗ̇ ܘܒܝܐ̇ܬܗ̇ ܘܦܪܥ̇ܬ ܒܘܝܐܐ ܠܗ̇ ܘܠܐ̈ܒܝܠܝܗ̇
wl'bylyh lh bwy'' wpreth wby'thh w'sythh khzyth 'wrkhthh
I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.

ܒ̇ܪܐ ܡܡܠܠܐ ܕܣ̈ܦܘܬܐ ܫܠܡܐ ܫܠܡܐ ܠܪ̈ܚܝܩܐ ܘܠܩܪ̈ܝܒܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܣܐ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn w's' mry' 'mr wlqryb' lrkhyq' shlm' shlm' dspwth' mmll' br'
I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says Yahweh; “and I will heal them.”

ܘܪ̈ܫܝܥܐ ܐܝܟ ܝܡܐ ܡܬܕܠܚܝܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܫܠܝܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܘܗ̇ܦܟܝܢ ܡ̈ܘܗܝ ܪܚܫܐ ܘܣܝܢܐ
wsyn' rkhsh' mwhy whpkyn mshkkhyn l' dshly' mTl mthdlkhyn ym' 'yk wrshye'
But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can’t rest and its waters cast up mire and mud.
