שבחי ירושלם דהות כאתא עקרה דלא ילידת בועי תושבחתא ודוצי דהות כאתא דלא עדיאת ארי סגיאין יהון בני ירושלם צדיתא מבני כרכא יתיבתא אמר יי:
yy amr ythybtha krka mbny tsdytha yrwshlm bny yhwn sgyayn ary edyath dla katha dhwth wdwtsy thwshbkhtha bwey ylydth dla eqrh katha dhwth yrwshlm shbkhy
“Sing, barren, you who didn’t give birth! Break out into singing, and cry aloud, you who didn’t travail with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife,” says Yahweh.

אפתי אתר בית מישרך ומקרוי ארעיך יתבי לא תמנעין אסגא עם משריתיך ושלטוניך תקיפי:
thqypy wshlTwnyk mshrythyk em asga thmneyn la ythby areyk wmqrwy myshrk byth athr apthy
“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your habitations; don’t spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.

ארי לדרומא ולצפונא תתקפין ובנך עממין יירתון וקרוין דצדין ייתבון:
yythbwn dtsdyn wqrwyn yyrthwn emmyn wbnk ththqpyn wltspwna ldrwma ary
For you will spread out on the right hand and on the left; and your offspring will possess the nations and settle in desolate cities.

לא תדחלין ארי לא תבהתין ולא תתכנעין ארי לא תתכלמין ארי בהתת עולמותיך תתנשין וחיסודי ארמלותיך לא תדכרין עוד:
ewd thdkryn la armlwthyk wkhyswdy ththnshyn ewlmwthyk bhthth ary ththklmyn la ary ththkneyn wla thbhthyn la ary thdkhlyn la
“Don’t be afraid, for you will not be ashamed. Don’t be confounded, for you will not be disappointed. For you will forget the shame of your youth. You will remember the reproach of your widowhood no more.

ארי מריך דעבדיך יי צבאות שמה ופרקיך קדישא דישראל אלה כל ארעא יתקרי:
ythqry area kl alh dyshral qdysha wprqyk shmh tsbawth yy debdyk mryk ary
For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name. The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of the whole earth.

ארי כאתא שביקא ועיקת רוח ערעך שכנתא דיי וכאתת עולמין דאתרחקת אמר אלהיך:
alhyk amr dathrkhqth ewlmyn wkathth dyy shkntha erek rwkh weyqth shbyqa katha ary
For Yahweh has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off,” says your God.

בשעה זעירא רחקתיך וברחמין סגיאין אקרב גלותך:
glwthk aqrb sgyayn wbrkhmyn rkhqthyk zeyra bsheh
“For a small moment I have forsaken you, but I will gather you with great mercies.

ברגז זעיר סלקית אפי שכנתי זמן זעירא מניך ובטבות עלם דלא פסקן ארחם עלך אמר פרקיך יי:
yy prqyk amr elk arkhm psqn dla elm wbTbwth mnyk zeyra zmn shknthy apy slqyth zeyr brgz
In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting loving kindness I will have mercy on you,” says Yahweh your Redeemer.

כיומי נח דא קדמי דקימית במימרי דלא יעדון מי טופנא דהוו ביומי נח עוד על ארעא כן קימית במימרי דלא יחול רוגזי עלך ולא אזוף ביך:
byk azwp wla elk rwgzy ykhwl dla bmymry qymyth kn area el ewd nkh bywmy dhww Twpna my yedwn dla bmymry dqymyth qdmy da nkh kywmy
“For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah will no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.

ארי טוריא יעדון ורמתא יתפרקון וטובי מניך ירושלם לא יעדי וקים שלמי לא יתרחק אמר דעתיד לרחמא עלך יי:
yy elk lrkhma dethyd amr ythrkhq la shlmy wqym yedy la yrwshlm mnyk wTwby ythprqwn wrmtha yedwn Twrya ary
For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed, but my loving kindness will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,” says Yahweh who has mercy on you.

חשיבתא מקבלא עולבן קרתא דאמרין עלה עממיא לא תתנחם הא אנא כבש בצדידא אבני רצפתיך ואשכלליניך באבנין טבין:
Tbyn babnyn washkllynyk rtspthyk abny btsdyda kbsh ana ha ththnkhm la emmya elh damryn qrtha ewlbn mqbla khshybtha
“You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.

ואשוי במרגלין אעך ותרעיך לאבני גמר וכל תחומיך לאבני צרוך:
tsrwk labny thkhwmyk wkl gmr labny wthreyk aek bmrglyn washwy
I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.

וכל בניך אלפין באוריתא דיי וסגי יהי שלם בנך:
bnk shlm yhy wsgy dyy bawrytha alpyn bnyk wkl
All your children will be taught by Yahweh, and your children’s peace will be great.

בזכותא תתקנין אתרחקי מעושקא ארי לא תדחלין ומתבירא ארי לא יעול עלך:
elk yewl la ary wmthbyra thdkhlyn la ary mewshqa athrkhqy ththqnyn bzkwtha
You will be established in righteousness. You will be far from oppression, for you will not be afraid, and far from terror, for it shall not come near you.

הא אתכנשא יתכנשון ליך גלות עמיך לסופא מלכי עממיא דמתכנשין לאעקא ליך ירושלם בגויך יתרמון:
ythrmwn bgwyk yrwshlm lyk laeqa dmthknshyn emmya mlky lswpa emyk glwth lyk ythknshwn athknsha ha
Behold, they may gather together, but not by me. Whoever gathers together against you will fall because of you.

הא אנא ברית נפחא נפח נור בשחורין ומפיק מנא לצורכה ואנא ברית מחבלא לחבלא:
lkhbla mkhbla bryth wana ltswrkh mna wmpyq bshkhwryn nwr npkh npkha bryth ana ha
“Behold, I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame, and forges a weapon for his work; and I have created the destroyer to destroy.

כל זין דיתקן עלך ירושלם לא יצלח וכל לישן דיקום עמך לדינא תחיבינה דא אחסנת עבדיא דיי וזכותיהון מן קדמי אמר יי:
yy amr qdmy mn wzkwthyhwn dyy ebdya akhsnth da thkhybynh ldyna emk dyqwm lyshn wkl ytslkh la yrwshlm elk dythqn zyn kl
No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.
