ܫܘܡܥܘܢܝ ܕܪܗ̇ܛܝܢ ܒܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ̈ ܘܒܥ̇ܝܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܚܘܪܘ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܕܐܬܓܙܪܬܘܢ ܡܢܗ ܘܠܓܘܒܐ ܕܐܬܢܩܪܬܘܢ ܡܢܗ
mnh d'thnqrthwn wlgwb' mnh d'thgzrthwn lTwr' khwrw lmry' wbeyn bzdyqwth' drhTyn shwmewny
“Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek Yahweh. Look to the rock you were cut from, and to the quarry you were dug from.

ܚܘܪܘ ܠܐܒܪܗܡ ܐܒܘܟܘܢ ܘܠܣܪܐ ܕܒܛܢܬܟܘܢ ܕܚܕ ܗܘܐ ܘܩܪܝ̇ܬܗ ܘܒܪܟ̇ܬܗ ܘܐܣܓܝ̇ܬܗ

Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for when he was but one I called him, I blessed him, and made him many.

ܡܛܠ ܕܒ̇ܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܨܗܝܘܢ ܘܡܒܢܐ ܠܟܠܗܝܢ ܚܪ̈ܒܬܗ̇ ܘܥܒ̇ܕ ܡܕܒܪܗ̇ ܐܝܟ ܥܕܢ ܘܦܩܥܬܗ̇ ܐܝܟ ܦܪܕܝܣܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܕܝܨܐ ܘܚܕܘܬܐ ܢܫܬܡܥ ܒܓܘܗ̇ ܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܘܩܠܐ ܕܙܡܪܐ

For Yahweh has comforted Zion. He has comforted all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Yahweh. Joy and gladness will be found in them, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

ܫܘܡܥܘܢܝ ܥ̈ܡܡܐ̈ ܘܨܘ̈ܬܢܢܝ ܐܡ̈ܘܬܐ ܡܛܘܠ ܕܢܡܘܣܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܢ̇ܦܩ ܘܕܝܢܝ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܗܘ ܠܥܡ̈ܡܐ

“Listen to me, my people; and hear me, my nation, for a law will go out from me, and I will establish my justice for a light to the peoples.

ܩܪܒܬ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܝ ܘܢܦܩ ܦܘܪܩܢܝ ܘܒܕܪܥܝ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܢܬܕܝܢܘܢ ܠܝ ܢܣ̈ܟܝܢ ܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܘܠܕܪܥܝ ܢܣܒܪ̈ܢ
nsbrn wldrey gzrth' nskyn ly nthdynwn emm' wbdrey pwrqny wnpq zdyqwthy qrbth
My righteousness is near. My salvation has gone out, and my arms will judge the peoples. The islands will wait for me, and they will trust my arm.

ܐܪܝܡܘ ܥܝܢ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܠܫܡܝܐ ܘܚܘܪܘ ܐܦ ܠܬܚܬ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܫܡܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܬܢܢܐ ܢܥܒܪܘܢ ܘܐܪܥܐ ܐܝܟ ܠܒܘܫܐ ܬܒܠܐ ܘܥܡܘܪ̈ܝܗ̇ ܐܟܘܬܗ̇ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܘܦܘܪܩܢܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܢܗܘܐ ܘܙܕܝܩܘܬܝ ܠܐ ܬܥܒܪ

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish away like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a garment. Its inhabitants will die in the same way, but my salvation will be forever, and my righteousness will not be abolished.

ܫܘܡܥܘܢܝ ܝ̇ܕ̈ܥܝ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ ܥܡܐ ܕܢܡܘܣܝ ܒܠܒܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܕܚܠܘܢ ܡܢ ܚܣܕܐ ܕܐܢܫܐ ܘܡܢ ܓܘܕܦܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܙܘܥܘܢ

“Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. Don’t fear the reproach of men, and don’t be dismayed at their insults.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܝܟ ܕܠܥܡܪܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܕܠܠܒܘܫܐ ܢܐܟܘܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܣܣܐ ܘܙܕܝܩܘܬܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܬܗܘܐ ܘܦܘܪܩܢܝ ܠܕܪܕܪܝܢ
ldrdryn wpwrqny thhw' lelm wzdyqwthy ss' 'nwn n'kwl dllbwsh' w'yk dlemr' d'yk mTl
For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool; but my righteousness will be forever, and my salvation to all generations.”

ܐܬܬܥܝܪܝ ܐܬܬܥܝܪܝ ܘܠܒܫܝ ܥܘܫܢܐ ܕܕܪܥܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܬܬܥܝܪܝ ܐܝܟ ܕܒܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܩܕܡ̈ܝܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܕܪ̈ܐ ܕܡܢ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܢܬܝ ܐܢܬܝ ܕܦܣܩܬܝ ܦܣܩܐ ܪܒܐ ܘܒܛܠܬܝ ܠܬܢܝܢܐ

Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of Yahweh! Awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster?

ܐܢܬܝ ܗܝ ܕܐܚܪܒܬܝ ܝܡܐ ܘܡ̈ܝܐ ܕܬܗܘܡܐ ܪܒܐ ܘܒܥܘܡܩܐ ܕܡ̈ܝܐ ܥܒܕܬܝ ܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܢܥܒܪܘܢ ܦܪ̈ܝܩܐ
pryq' dnebrwn 'wrkh' ebdthy dmy' wbewmq' rb' dthhwm' wmy' ym' d'khrbthy hy 'nthy
Isn’t it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?

ܦܪ̈ܝܩܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܢܬܦܢܘܢ ܘܢܥܠܘܢ ܠܨܗܝܘܢ ܒܫܘܒܚܐ ܘܠܥܠܡܝܢ ܬܗܘܐ ܚܕܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܪ̈ܫܝܗܘܢ ܒܘܣܡܐ ܘܚܕܘܬܐ ܢܕܪܟܘܢ ܘܢܥܪܩܘܢ ܕܘܘ̈ܢܐ ܘܬܐ̈ܢܚܬܐ
wth'nkhth' dwwn' wnerqwn ndrkwn wkhdwth' bwsm' rshyhwn el khdwth' thhw' wlelmyn bshwbkh' ltshywn wnelwn wnthpnwn dmry' pryqwhy
Those ransomed by Yahweh will return, and come with singing to Zion. Everlasting joy shall be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

ܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܒܝܐܢܟܘܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܡ̇ܢ ܐܢܬܝ ܕܕܚܠܬܝ ܡܢ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܡܐ̇ܬ ܘܡܢ ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܐܝܟ ܥܡܝܪܐ ܝܒ̇ܫ
ybsh emyr' d'yk 'nsh' br wmn dm'th 'nsh' mn ddkhlthy 'nthy mn mry' 'mr mby'nkwn 'n' 'n'
“I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who will be made as grass?

ܘܛܥܝܬܝ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܕܥܒܕܟܝ ܕܡܬܚ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܐܬܩܢ ܫܬܐ̈ܣܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܕܚܠܬܝ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ ܟܠ ܝܘܡ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܚܡܬܗ ܕܐܠܘܨܐ ܕܡܛܝܒ ܗܘܐ ܠܡܚܒܠܘ ܐܝܟܐ ܗܝ ܚܡܬܗ ܕܐܠܘܨܐ
d'lwts' khmthh hy 'yk' lmkhblw hw' dmTyb d'lwts' khmthh qdm mn ywm kl 'myn'yth wdkhlthy d're' shth'syh w'thqn shmy' dmthkh debdky lmry' wTeythy
Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?

ܕܡܣܪܗܒ ܗܘܐ ܥܫ̈ܝܢܐ ܠܡܚܒܠܘ ܠܐ ܢܡܘܬܘܢ ܠܚܒܠܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܚܣܪ ܠܚܡܗ
lkhmh nkhsr wl' lkhbl' nmwthwn l' lmkhblw eshyn' hw' dmsrhb
The captive exile will speedily be freed. He will not die and go down into the pit. His bread won’t fail.

ܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܝ ܕܟܐ̇ܐ ܒܝܡܐ ܘܫ̇ܠܝܢ ܓ̈ܠܠܘܗܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܫܡܗ
shmh khylthn' mry' gllwhy wshlyn bym' dk'' 'lhky mry' 'n' 'n'
For I am Yahweh your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar. Yahweh of Armies is his name.

ܕܣ̇ܡܬ ܡ̈ܠܝ ܒܦܘܡܟܝ ܘܒܛܠܠܐ ܕܐ̈ܝܕܝ ܟܣܝ̇ܬܟܝ ܒܗ̇ܝ ܕܡܬ̇ܚܬ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܐܬܩܢ̇ܬ ܫܬ̈ܐܣܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܠܨܗܝܘܢ ܕܥܡܝ ܐܢܬܝ
'nthy demy ltshywn w'mrth d're' shth'syh w'thqnth shmy' dmthkhth bhy ksythky d'ydy wbTll' bpwmky mly dsmth
I have put my words in your mouth and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and tell Zion, ‘You are my people.’”

ܐܬܬܥܝܪܝ ܐܬܬܥܝܪܝ ܘܩܘܡܝ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܕܐܫܬܝܬܝ ܡܢ ܐܝܕܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܟܣܐ ܕܪܘܓܙܗ ܘܐܫܬܝܬܝ ܘܐܡܨܝܬܝ ܟܣܐ ܕܪܥܠܐ
drel' ks' w'mtsythy w'shthythy drwgzh ks' dmry' 'ydh mn d'shthythy 'wrshlm wqwmy 'ththeyry 'ththeyry
Awake, awake! Stand up, Jerusalem, you who have drunk from Yahweh’s hand the cup of his wrath. You have drunken the bowl of the cup of staggering, and drained it.

ܘܠܝܬ ܕܡܒܝܐ ܠܗ̇ ܡܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܒ̈ܢܝܐ ܕܝܠܕܬ ܘܠܝܬ ܕܐܚ̇ܕ ܒܐܝܕܗ̇ ܡܢ ܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܒܢ̈ܝܐ ܕܪܒܝܬ
drbyth bny' kwlhwn mn b'ydh d'khd wlyth dyldth bny' klhwn mn lh dmby' wlyth
There is no one to guide her among all the sons to whom she has given birth; and there is no one who takes her by the hand among all the sons whom she has brought up.

ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܡܛܝܟܝ ܠܡ̇ܢ ܬܟܪܐ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܒܙܬܐ ܘܬܒܪܐ ܘܟܦܢܐ ܘܚܪܒܐ ܡ̇ܢ ܢܒܝܐܟܝ
nby'ky mn wkhrb' wkpn' wthbr' bzth' elyky thkr' lmn mTyky 'nyn thrthyn
These two things have happened to you— who will grieve with you?— desolation and destruction, and famine and the sword. How can I comfort you?

ܒܢ̈ܝܟܝ ܬܘܝܪܝܢ ܘܕܡ̇ܟܝܢ ܒܪܝܫ ܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܫܘܩ̈ܐ ܐܝܟ ܣܠܩܐ ܕܟܡܝܪ ܘܡܠܝܢ ܪܘܓܙܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܟܐܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܟܝ
d'lhky wk'thh dmry' rwgzh wmlyn dkmyr slq' 'yk shwq' kwlhwn brysh wdmkyn thwyryn bnyky
Your sons have fainted. They lie at the head of all the streets, like an antelope in a net. They are full of Yahweh’s wrath, the rebuke of your God.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܫܡܥܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܡܡܟܟܬܐ ܕܪܘܝܐ ܠܐ ܡܢ ܚܡܪܐ

Therefore now hear this, you afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܟܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܠܗܟܝ ܢܕܘܢ ܠܥܡܗ ܗܐ ܢܣ̇ܒܬ ܡܢ ܐܝ̈ܕܝܟܝ ܟܣܐ ܕܪܥܠܐ ܘܟܣܐ ܕܪܘܓܙܝ ܠܐ ܬܘܣܦܝܢ ܬܘܒ ܠܡܫܬܝܗ
lmshthyh thwb thwspyn l' drwgzy wks' drel' ks' 'ydyky mn nsbth h' lemh ndwn w'lhky mry' mrky 'mr hkn'
Your Lord Yahweh, your God who pleads the cause of his people, says, “Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath. You will not drink it any more.

ܘܐܣܝܡܝܘܗܝ ܒܝܕ ܡܡܟܟܢ̈ܝܟܝ ܕܐܡܪܘ ܠܢܦܫܟܝ ܐܬܡܟܟܝ ܘܢܥܒܪ ܘܥܒܕܬܝ ܠܥܡܟܝ ܐܝܟ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܫܘܩܐ ܠܕܥܒ̇ܪܝܢ
ldebryn shwq' w'yk 're' 'yk lemky webdthy wnebr 'thmkky lnpshky d'mrw mmkknyky byd w'symywhy
I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you, who have said to your soul, ‘Bow down, that we may walk over you;’ and you have laid your back as the ground, like a street to those who walk over.”
