ܫܬܘ̈ܩܝܢ ܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܘܨܘ̈ܬܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܘܬܐ ܡܢ ܪܘܚܩܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܩܪܢܝ ܘܡܢ ܡܪܒܥܐ ܘܡܢ ܟܪܣܗ̇ ܕܐܡܝ ܕܟܪ ܫܡܝ
shmy dkr d'my krsh wmn mrbe' wmn qrny mry' rwkhq' mn 'mwth' wtswthyn gzrth' shthwqyn
Listen, islands, to me. Listen, you peoples, from afar: Yahweh has called me from the womb; from the inside of my mother, he has mentioned my name.

ܥܒܕ ܦܘܡܝ ܐܝܟ ܣܝܦܐ ܚܪܝܦܐ ܘܒܛܠܠܐ ܕܐܝܕܗ ܛܫܝܢܝ ܥܒܕܢܝ ܐܝܟ ܓܐܪܐ ܓܒܝܐ ܘܒܩܛܪܩܗ ܣܬܪܢܝ

He has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. He has made me a polished shaft. He has kept me close in his quiver.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܥܒܕܝ ܐܢܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܒܟ ܡܫܬܒܚ ܐܢܐ

He said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”

ܘܠܐ ܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܠܙܪܥܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ ܕܣܪܝܩܐܝܬ ܠܐ̇ܝܬ ܘܝܗ̇ܒܬ ܚܝܠܝ ܠܣܪܝܩܘܬܐ ܫܪܝܪܐܝܬ ܕܝܢܝ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܥ̇ܒܕܝ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܝ
'lhy qdm webdy mry' qdm dyny shryr'yth lsryqwth' khyly wyhbth l'yth dsryq'yth dyeqwb lzreh 'mrth wl'
But I said, “I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength in vain for nothing; yet surely the justice due to me is with Yahweh, and my reward with my God.”

ܗܫܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܓܒܠܢܝ ܒܡܪܒܥܐ ܕܐܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܥܒܕܐ ܘܐܦܢܐ ܠܝܥܩܘܒ ܠܘܬܗ ܘܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܟܢܫ ܐܫܬܒܚ̇ܬ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܠܗܝ ܗܘܐ ܥܘܫܢܝ
ewshny hw' w'lhy mry' qdm 'shthbkhth 'knsh wl'ysryl lwthh lyeqwb w'pn' ebd' lh d'hw' bmrbe' dgblny mry' 'mr hkn' hsh'
Now Yahweh, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, says to bring Jacob again to him, and to gather Israel to him, for I am honorable in Yahweh’s eyes, and my God has become my strength.

ܘܐܡܪ ܙܥܘܪܝܐ ܗܝ ܕܬܗܘܐ ܠܝ ܥܒܕܐ ܘܬܩܝܡ ܫܒܛܐ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ̈ ܘܬܦܢܐ ܢܘܪܒܗ ܕܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܝܗܒ̇ܬܟ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܠܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܬܗܘܐ ܦܘܪܩܢܝ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܣ̈ܘܦܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ

Indeed, he says, “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܦܪܘܩܗ ܠܕܡܣܬܠܝܐ ܢܦܫܗ ܠܕܡܣܠܝ ܡܢ ܥܡܐ ܘܡܢ ܥܒ̈ܕܐ ܕܫ̈ܠܝܛܢܐ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܢܚܙܘܢ ܘܢܩܘܡܘܢ ܘܫ̈ܠܝܛܢܐ ܢܣܓܕܘܢ ܠܗ ܡܛܠ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܡܗܝܡܢ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܓܒܟ

Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, says to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers: “Kings shall see and rise up, princes, and they shall worship, because of Yahweh who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܨܒܝܢܐ ܥܢ̇ܝܬܟ ܘܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܥܕܪܬܟ ܘܓܒ̇ܠܬܟ ܘܝܗ̇ܒܬܟ ܩܝܡܐ ܠܥܡܐ ܘܢܘܗܪܐ ܠܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܬܩܝܡ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܬܐܪܬ ܝܪܬܘܬܐ ܕܚܪ̈ܒܬܐ

Yahweh says, “I have answered you in an acceptable time. I have helped you in a day of salvation. I will preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage,

ܘܬܐܡܪ ܠܐܣܝܪ̈ܐ ܕܦܘܩܘ ܘܠܚܒܝ̈ܫܐ ܕܐܬܓܠܘ ܥܠ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܐ ܢܪܥܘܢ ܘܒܟܠܗܘܢ ܫ̈ܒܝܠܐ ܡܪ̈ܥܝܬܗܘܢ
mreythhwn shbyl' wbklhwn nrewn 'wrkhth' el d'thglw wlkhbysh' dpwqw l'syr' wth'mr
saying to those who are bound, ‘Come out!’; to those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves!’ “They shall feed along the paths, and their pasture shall be on all treeless heights.

ܠܐ ܢܟܦܢܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܨܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܟܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܫܘܒܐ ܘܫܡܫܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܪܚܡܢܗܘܢ ܢܕܒܪ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܡܒ̈ܘܥܐ ܕܡ̈ܝܐ ܢܝܬܐ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn nyth' dmy' wlmbwe' 'nwn ndbr dmrkhmnhwn mTl wshmsh' shwb' 'nwn nk' wl' ntshwn wl' nkpnwn l'
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them, for he who has mercy on them will lead them. He will guide them by springs of water.

ܐܥܒܕ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܐ ܘܫ̈ܒܝܠܐ ܢܬܬܪܝܡܘܢ
nththrymwn wshbyl' 'wrkhth' Twr' klhwn 'ebd
I will make all my mountains a road, and my highways shall be exalted.

ܗܠܝܢ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܪܘܚܩܐ ܘܗܠܝܢ ܡܢ ܓܪܒܝܐ ܘܗܠܝܢ ܡܢ ܝܡܐ ܘܡܢ ܝܡܐ ܕܣܢܝܡ
dsnym ym' wmn ym' mn whlyn grby' mn whlyn rwkhq' mn n'thwn hlyn
Behold, these shall come from afar, and behold, these from the north and from the west, and these from the land of Sinim.”

ܫܒܚܘ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܕܘܨܝ ܐܪܥܐ ܐܬܦܨܚܘ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܒܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܒܝܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܥܡܗ ܘܪܚܡ ܥܠ ܒ̇ܝܫ̈ܘܗܝ

Sing, heavens, and be joyful, earth! Break out into singing, mountains! For Yahweh has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.

ܘܐܡܪܬ ܨܗܝܘܢ ܕܫܒܩܢܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܡܪܝܐ ܛܥܢܝ
Teny wmry' mry' dshbqny tshywn w'mrth
But Zion said, “Yahweh has forsaken me, and the Lord has forgotten me.”

ܐܢ ܛܥ̇ܝܐ ܐܢܬܬܐ ܥܘܠܗ̇ ܘܠܐ ܡܪܚܡܐ ܥܠ ܒܪ ܡ̈ܥܝܗ̇ ܐܦܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܢ̈ܛܥܝܢ ܐܢܐ ܠܐ ܐܛܥܝܟܝ
'Teyky l' 'n' nTeyn hlyn 'pn meyh br el mrkhm' wl' ewlh 'nthth' Tey' 'n
“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you!

ܗܐ ܥܠ ܦܣ̈ܐ ܕܐ̈ܝܕܝ ܪܫܡ̇ܬܟܝ ܘܫܘܪ̈ܝܟܝ ܠܘܩܒܠܝ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܡܝܢܐܝܬ
'myn'yth 'nwn lwqbly wshwryky rshmthky d'ydy ps' el h'
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Your walls are continually before me.

ܒܥܓܠ ܒܢܝ̈ܟܝ ܡܣܚ̈ܦܢܝܟܝ ܘܡܚܪ̈ܒܢܝܟܝ ܡܢܟܝ ܢܦܩܘܢ

Your children hurry. Your destroyers and those who devastated you will leave you.

ܐܪܝܡܝ ܥܝܢ̈ܝܟܝ ܠܚܕܪ̈ܝܟܝ ܘܚܙܝ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܬܟܢܫܝܢ ܘܐ̇ܬܝܢ ܠܟܝ ܚܝ ܐܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܨܒܬܐ ܬܠܒܫܝܢ ܘܬܬܟܠܠܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܟܠܬܐ

Lift up your eyes all around, and see: all these gather themselves together, and come to you. As I live,” says Yahweh, “you shall surely clothe yourself with them all as with an ornament, and dress yourself with them, like a bride.

ܡܛܠ ܕܚܪ̈ܒܬܟܝ ܘܨܕܝ̈ܬܟܝ ܘܐܪܥܐ ܕܣܚܝܦܘܬܟܝ ܡܟܝܠ ܬܬܐܠܨ ܡܢ ܝܬܒܐ ܘܢܥܪܩܘܢ ܒ̈ܠܘܥܝܟܝ

“For, as for your waste and your desolate places, and your land that has been destroyed, surely now that land will be too small for the inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up will be far away.

ܬܘܒ ܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܒܐ̈ܕܢܝܟܝ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܡܓܙܝܘܬܟܝ ܐܠܝܨ ܗܘ ܠܢ ܐܬܪܐ ܐܬܩܪܒ ܠܢ ܢܬܒ

The children of your bereavement will say in your ears, ‘This place is too small for me. Give me a place to live in.’

ܘܬܐܡܪܝܢ ܒܠܒܟܝ ܡܢܘ ܝܠܕ ܠܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܓܙܝܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܘܡܫܘܚܕܬܐ ܓܠܝܬܐ ܘܡܕܘܕܬܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܡ̇ܢ ܪܒܝ ܐܢ ܐܢܐ ܗܐ ܐܫܬܚ̇ܪܬ ܒܠܚܘܕܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܝܟܐ ܗܘܘ
hww 'yk' hlyn blkhwdy 'shthkhrth h' 'n' 'n rby mn hlyn wmdwdth' glyth' wmshwkhdth' 'n' mgzyth' 'n' dh' hlyn ly yld mnw blbky wth'mryn
Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who has conceived these for me, since I have been bereaved of my children and am alone, an exile, and wandering back and forth? Who has brought these up? Behold, I was left alone. Where were these?’”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܗܐ ܡܪܝܡ ܐܢܐ ܐܝܕܝ ܥܠ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܠܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܐܪܝܡ ܐܬܐ ܘܢܝܬܘܢ ܠܒܢ̈ܝܟܝ ܥܠ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܗܘܢ ܘܠܒ̈ܢܬܟܝ ܥܠ ܟܬ̈ܦܬܗܘܢ ܢܫܩܠܘܢ
nshqlwn kthpthhwn el wlbnthky 'ydyhwn el lbnyky wnythwn 'th' 'rym wlemm' emm' el 'ydy 'n' mrym h' 'lh' mry' 'mr hkn'
The Lord Yahweh says, “Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and lift up my banner to the peoples. They shall bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.

ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܡ̈ܠܟܐ ܡܪ̈ܒܝܢܝܟܝ ܘܪ̈ܘܪܒܢܝܬܗܘܢ ܡܝܢܩܢܝ̈ܬܟܝ ܘܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝܗܘܢ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܢܣܓܕܘܢ ܠܟܝ ܘܥܦܪܐ ܕܪ̈ܓܠܝܟܝ ܢܠܚܟܘܢ ܘܬܕܥܝܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܠܐ ܒܗ̇ܬܝܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܣܟܝܢ ܠܝ
ly dmskyn 'ylyn bhthyn dl' mry' 'n' d'n' wthdeyn nlkhkwn drglyky wepr' lky nsgdwn 're' el 'pyhwn wel mynqnythky wrwrbnythhwn mrbynyky mlk' wnhwwn
Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am Yahweh; and those who wait for me won’t be disappointed.”

ܠܡܐ ܡܬܕܒܪܐ ܕܒܪܬܗ ܕܓܢܒܪܐ ܐܘ ܫܒܝܬܗ ܕܥܫܝܢܐ ܡܬܦܨܝܐ

Shall the plunder be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captives be delivered?

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܕܒܪܬܗ ܕܓܢܒܪܐ ܬܬܕܒܪ ܘܫܒܝܬܗ ܕܥܫܝܢܐ ܬܬܦܨܐ ܘܕܝ̈ܢܝܟܝ ܐܢܐ ܐܕܘܢ ܘܠܒܢ̈ܝܟܝ ܐܢܐ ܐܦܪܘܩ
'prwq 'n' wlbnyky 'dwn 'n' wdynyky ththpts' deshyn' wshbythh ththdbr dgnbr' ddbrthh mry' 'mr dhkn' mTl
But Yahweh says, “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the plunder retrieved from the fierce, for I will contend with him who contends with you and I will save your children.

ܘܐܘܟܠ ܠܐ̈ܠܘܨܝܟܝ ܒܣܪܗܘܢ ܘܐܝܟ ܡܐܪܝܬܐ ܢܪܘܘܢ ܡܢ ܕܡܗܘܢ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܟܠ ܒܣܪ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܦܪܘܩܟܝ ܘܡܣܝܥܢܟܝ ܬܩܝܦܗ ܕܝܥܩܘܒ
dyeqwb thqyph wmsyenky prwqky mry' 'n' d'n' bsr kl wndewn dmhwn mn nrwwn m'ryth' w'yk bsrhwn l'lwtsyky w'wkl
I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh; and they will be drunk on their own blood, as with sweet wine. Then all flesh shall know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
