חמיט בל אתקטף נבו הוו צלמניהון דמות חיוא ובעירא מטולי טעותהון יקירין על נטליהון ואנון משלהין:
mshlhyn wanwn nTlyhwn el yqyryn Tewthhwn mTwly wbeyra khywa dmwth tslmnyhwn hww nbw athqTp bl khmyT
Bel bows down. Nebo stoops. Their idols are carried by animals, and on the livestock. The things that you carried around are heavy loads, a burden for the weary.

אתקציצו ואתקטפו כחדא ולא יכילו לשיזבא נטליהון ופלחיהון בשביא אזלו:
azlw bshbya wplkhyhwn nTlyhwn lshyzba ykylw wla kkhda wathqTpw athqtsytsw
They stoop and they bow down together. They could not deliver the burden, but they have gone into captivity.

קבילו למימרי דבית יעקב וכל שארא דבית ישראל דרחימין מכל עממיא וחביבין מכל מלכותא:
mlkwtha mkl wkhbybyn emmya mkl drkhymyn yshral dbyth shara wkl yeqb dbyth lmymry qbylw
“Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been carried from their birth, that have been carried from the womb.

ועל עלמא אנא הוא ועד עלם עלמיא מימרי קים אנא ברית כל אנשא ואנא בדרית יתהון לביני עממיא אף אנא אשבוק לחוביהון ואסלח:
waslkh lkhwbyhwn ashbwq ana ap emmya lbyny ythhwn bdryth wana ansha kl bryth ana qym mymry elmya elm wed hwa ana elma wel
Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver.

למן תדמון קדמי ותשוון ותכונון קדמי בקשוט:
bqshwT qdmy wthkwnwn wthshwwn qdmy thdmwn lmn
“To whom will you compare me, and consider my equal, and compare me, as if we were the same?

הא עממיא גבן דהב מכיס וכספא במאזניא תקלין אגרין קינאה ועביד ליה דחלא סגדין אף משתעבדין:
mshthebdyn ap sgdyn dkhla lyh webyd qynah agryn thqlyn bmaznya wkspa mkys dhb gbn emmya ha
Some pour out gold from the bag, and weigh silver in the balance. They hire a goldsmith, and he makes it a god. They fall down— yes, they worship.

נטלין ליה על כתפיהון סבלין ליה מחתין לה באתרה וקאים מאתרה לא אפשר ליה דינוד אף יבעי מנה לא יתיבינה מעקתה לא יפרקנה:
yprqnh la meqthh ythybynh la mnh ybey ap dynwd lyh apshr la mathrh wqaym bathrh lh mkhthyn lyh sblyn kthpyhwn el lyh nTlyn
They bear it on their shoulder. They carry it, and set it in its place, and it stands there. It cannot move from its place. Yes, one may cry to it, yet it can not answer. It cannot save him out of his trouble.

אדכרו דא ואתקפו ואתיבו מרודין על לב:
lb el mrwdyn wathybw wathqpw da adkrw
“Remember this, and show yourselves men. Bring it to mind again, you transgressors.

אדכרו קדמיתא דמן עלמא ארי אנא אלה ולית עוד אלה בר מיני:
myny br alh ewd wlyth alh ana ary elma dmn qdmytha adkrw
Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me.

מחוי מן אולא לסופא ומלקדמין דלא אתעבידא אמר מלכי יתקים וכל רעותי אעבד:
aebd rewthy wkl ythqym mlky amr athebyda dla wmlqdmyn lswpa awla mn mkhwy
I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please.

דאמר לכנשא גלותא ממדינחא לאיתאה בגלי כעוף קליל מארע רחיקא בני אברהם רחימי אף מללית אף איתינה אף אתקינתא אף אעבדינה:
aebdynh ap athqyntha ap aythynh ap mllyth ap rkhymy abrhm bny rkhyqa mare qlyl kewp bgly laythah mmdynkha glwtha lknsha damr
I call a ravenous bird from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken. I will also bring it to pass. I have planned. I will also do it.

קבילו למימרי תקיפי לבא דרחיקין מזכותא:
mzkwtha drkhyqyn lba thqypy lmymry qbylw
Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, who are far from righteousness!
