ܗܐ ܠܥܒܕܝ ܣܡܟ̇ܬ ܘܒܓܒܝܝ ܨܒܬ ܢܦܫܝ ܝܗܒ̇ܬ ܪܘܚܝ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܕܢܦܩ ܕܝܢܐ ܠܥܡ̈ܡܐ
lemm' dyn' dnpq elwhy rwkhy yhbth npshy tsbth wbgbyy smkth lebdy h'
“Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.

ܠܐ ܢܩܥܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܪܝܒ ܘܠܐ ܢܫܡܥ ܩܠܗ ܒܫܘܩܐ
bshwq' qlh nshme wl' nryb wl' nqe' l'
He will not shout, nor raise his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street.

ܩܢܝܐ ܪܥܝܥܐ ܠܐ ܢܬܒܪ ܘܫܪܓܐ ܕܡܛܦܛܦ ܠܐ ܢܕܥܟ ܒܩܘܫܬܐ ܢܦܩ ܕܝܢܐ
dyn' npq bqwshth' ndek l' dmTpTp wshrg' nthbr l' reye' qny'
He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a dimly burning wick. He will faithfully bring justice.

ܠܐ ܢܕܥܟ ܘܠܐ ܢܛܦܛܦ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܢܣܝܡ ܕܝܢܐ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܠܢܡܘܣܗ ܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܢܣ̈ܟܝܢ
nskyn gzrth' wlnmwsh b're' dyn' dnsym edm' nTpTp wl' ndek l'
He will not fail nor be discouraged, until he has set justice in the earth, and the islands wait for his law.”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܒܪܐ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܡܬܚ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܪܩܥ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܟܠ ܕܒܗ̇ ܘܝܗܒ ܢܫܡܬܐ ܠܥܡܐ ܕܥܠܝܗ̇ ܘܪܘܚܐ ܠܕܡܗܠܟܝܢ ܒܗ̇
bh ldmhlkyn wrwkh' delyh lem' nshmth' wyhb dbh wkl 're' wrqe 'nwn wmthkh shmy' dbr' 'lh' mry' 'mr hkn'
God Yahweh, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread out the earth and that which comes out of it, he who gives breath to its people and spirit to those who walk in it, says:

ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܩ̇ܪܝܬܟ ܒܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ ܘܐܚ̇ܕܬ ܒܐܝܕܟ ܘܚܝ̇ܠܬܟ ܘܝܗ̇ܒܬܟ ܩܝܡܐ ܠܥܡܐ ܘܢܘܗܪܐ ܠܥܡ̈ܡܐ
lemm' wnwhr' lem' qym' wyhbthk wkhylthk b'ydk w'khdth bzdyqwth' qrythk mry' 'n'
“I, Yahweh, have called you in righteousness. I will hold your hand. I will keep you, and make you a covenant for the people, as a light for the nations,

ܕܬܦܬܚ ܥܝ̈ܢܐ ܕܥܘܝܪ̈ܐ ܘܬܦܩ ܠܐܣܝܪܐ ܡܢ ܚܒܘܫܝܐ ܘܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܐܣܝܪ̈ܐ ܠܕܝ̇ܬܒܝܢ ܒܚܫܘܟܐ
bkhshwk' ldythbyn 'syr' byth wmn khbwshy' mn l'syr' wthpq dewyr' eyn' dthpthkh
to open the blind eyes, to bring the prisoners out of the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness out of the prison.

ܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܗܢܘ ܫܡܝ ܘܐܝܩܪܝ ܠܐܚܪܝܢ ܠܐ ܐܬܠ ܐܦ ܠܐ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܝ ܠܓܠܝ̈ܦܐ
lglyp' thshbwkhthy l' 'p 'thl l' l'khryn w'yqry shmy whnw mry' 'n' 'n'
“I am Yahweh. That is my name. I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to engraved images.

ܚ̈ܕܬܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܚܘܐ ܘܩܕܡܝ̈ܬܐ ܗܐ ܐ̈ܬܝ ܘܥܕ ܠܐ ܢܨܡܚ̈ܢ ܐܫ̇ܡܥܬ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ
lkwn 'nyn 'shmeth ntsmkhn l' wed 'thy h' wqdmyth' mkhw' 'n' khdthth'
Behold, the former things have happened and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up.”

ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܐܫܥܝܐ ܫܒܚܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ ܡܢ ܣܘ̈ܦܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܢ̇ܚ̈ܬܝ ܝܡܐ ܒܡܠܐܗ ܘܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܘܕܥܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܒܗܝܢ
bhyn wdemryn wgzrth' bml'h ym' nkhthy d're' swpyh mn thshbwkhthh khdth' thshbwkhth' lmry' shbkhw d'shey' thshbwkhth'
Sing to Yahweh a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the islands and their inhabitants.

ܢܚܕܐ ܡܕܒܪܐ ܘܩܘܪ̈ܝܗ̇ ܘܡܪ̈ܓܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܩܕܪ ܘܢܫܒܚܘܢ ܝ̇ܬ̈ܒܝ ܫܩܝ̈ܦܐ ܘܡܢ ܪܝܫܐ ܕܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܢܩܥܘܢ
nqewn dTwr' rysh' wmn shqyp' ythby wnshbkhwn qdr thhw' wmrg' wqwryh mdbr' nkhd'
Let the wilderness and its cities raise their voices, with the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains!

ܘܢܬܠܘܢ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܘܬܫܒܚ̈ܬܗ ܢܚܘܘܢ ܒܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ
bgzrth' nkhwwn wthshbkhthh lmry' thshbwkhth' wnthlwn
Let them give glory to Yahweh, and declare his praise in the islands.

ܡܪܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܓܢܒܪܐ ܢܦܘܩ ܘܐܝܟ ܓܒܪܐ ܩܪܒܬܢܐ ܢܓܪܓ ܛܢܢܐ ܢܩܥܐ ܘܢܬܓܢܒܪ ܘܢܩܛܘܠ ܠܒ̈ܥܠܕܒܒܘܗܝ
lbeldbbwhy wnqTwl wnthgnbr nqe' Tnn' ngrg qrbthn' gbr' w'yk npwq gnbr' 'yk mry'
Yahweh will go out like a mighty man. He will stir up zeal like a man of war. He will raise a war cry. Yes, he will shout aloud. He will triumph over his enemies.

ܫܬܩ̇ܬ ܡܢ ܥܠܡ ܐܫܬܘܩ ܣܝ̇ܒܪܬ ܐܝܟ ܝܠܕܬܐ ܐܬܡܗ ܘܐܬܘܪ ܐܟܚܕܐ
'kkhd' w'thwr 'thmh yldth' 'yk sybrth 'shthwq elm mn shthqth
“I have been silent a long time. I have been quiet and restrained myself. Now I will cry out like a travailing woman. I will both gasp and pant.

ܐܚܪܒ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܘܟܠܗ ܥܘܫܢܗܘܢ ܐܘܒܫ ܐܥܒܕ ܢܗܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܠܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܘܐ̈ܓܡܐ ܐܘܒܫ
'wbsh w'gm' lgzrth' nhrwth' 'ebd 'wbsh ewshnhwn wklh wrmth' Twr' 'khrb
I will destroy mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs. I will make the rivers islands, and will dry up the pools.

ܐܕܒܪ ܥܘܝܪ̈ܐ ܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥ̇ܝܢ ܘܒܫܒܝ̈ܠܐ ܕܠܐ ܝܕܥ̇ܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܐܗܠܟ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܥܒܕ ܚܫܘܟܐ ܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܘܥܪܡܐ ܐܫܦܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܦܬܓܡ̈ܐ ܥܒ̇ܕܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܫܒ̇ܩܬ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn shbqth wl' 'nwn ebdth pthgm' hlyn 'shp' werm' nwhr' qdmyhwn khshwk' 'ebd 'nwn 'hlk hww ydeyn dl' wbshbyl' ydeyn dl' b'wrkh' ewyr' 'dbr
I will bring the blind by a way that they don’t know. I will lead them in paths that they don’t know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.

ܢܗܦܟܘܢ ܠܒܣܬܪܗܘܢ ܘܢܒܗܬܘܢ ܒܒܗܬܬܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܬܟܝܠܝܢ ܥܠ ܓܠܝ̈ܦܐ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܠܢܣ̈ܝܟܐ ܕܐܢܬܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܐ̈ܠܗܝܢ
'lhyn 'nwn d'nthwn lnsyk' w'mryn glyp' el dthkylyn 'ylyn bbhthth' wnbhthwn lbsthrhwn nhpkwn
“Those who trust in engraved images, who tell molten images, ‘You are our gods,’ will be turned back. They will be utterly disappointed.

ܚܪ̈ܫܐ ܫܡܥܘ ܘܥܘܝܪ̈ܐ ܐܣܬܟܠܘ ܘܚܙܘ

“Hear, you deaf, and look, you blind, that you may see.

ܡܢܘ ܥܘܝܪܐ ܐܠܐ ܥܒܕܝ ܘܚܪܫܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܠܐܟܝ ܕܐܫܕܪ ܡܢܘ ܥܘܝܪܐ ܐܝܟ ܫܠܝܛܐ ܘܥܘܝܪܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
dmry' ebdh 'yk wewyr' shlyT' 'yk ewyr' mnw d'shdr ml'ky 'yk wkhrsh' ebdy 'l' ewyr' mnw
Who is blind, but my servant? Or who is as deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is as blind as he who is at peace, and as blind as Yahweh’s servant?

ܚ̇ܪܬ ܣܓܝ ܘܠܐ ܢ̇ܛܪܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܘܦܬܚ̇ܬ ܐ̈ܕܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܫܡ̇ܥܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ
'nthwn shmeyn wl' 'dn' wpthkhth 'nthwn nTryn wl' sgy khrth
You see many things, but don’t observe. His ears are open, but he doesn’t listen.

ܡܪܝܐ ܨܒܐ ܡܛܠ ܙܕܝܩܘܬܗ ܕܢܘܪܒ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܘܢܫܒܚܝܘܗܝ
wnshbkhywhy nmws' dnwrb zdyqwthh mTl tsb' mry'
It pleased Yahweh, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify the law and make it honorable.

ܘܗܘ ܥܡܐ ܒܙܝܙܐ ܘܕܝܫܐ ܦܚ̈ܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܓܕܘ̈ܕܐ ܘܒܒܬ̈ܐ ܐܣܝܪ̈ܐ ܛܫܝܘ ܗܘܘ ܠܒܙܬܐ ܘܠܝܬ ܕܡܦܨܐ ܘܠܕܝܫܐ ܘܠܝܬ ܕܡܦܢܐ
dmpn' wlyth wldysh' dmpts' wlyth lbzth' hww Tshyw 'syr' wbbth' gdwd' klhwn 'nwn pkh' wdysh' bzyz' em' whw
But this is a robbed and plundered people. All of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prisons. They have become captives, and no one delivers, and a plunder, and no one says, ‘Restore them!’

ܡܢܘ ܐܝܬ ܒܟܘܢ ܕܢܫܡܥ ܗܕܐ ܘܢܨܘܬ ܘܢܫܡܥ ܠܐܚܪܬܐ
l'khrth' wnshme wntswth hd' dnshme bkwn 'yth mnw
Who is there among you who will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come?

ܡܢܘ ܝܗܒ ܠܝܥܩܘܒ ܠܕܝܫܐ ܘܠܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܠܒܙܙܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܕܚܛܝܢ ܠܗ ܘܠܐ ܨܒܝܢ ܠܡܗܠܟܘ ܒܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܗ ܘܠܐ ܫܡܥܢ ܢܡܘܣܗ
nmwsh shmen wl' b'wrkhthh lmhlkw tsbyn wl' lh dkhTyn el mry' hw' l' lbzz' wl'ysr'yl ldysh' lyeqwb yhb mnw
Who gave Jacob as plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Didn’t Yahweh, he against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in his ways, and they disobeyed his law.

ܐܫܕ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܚܡܬܐ ܕܪܘܓܙܗ ܘܥܘܫܢܐ ܕܩܪܒܐ ܐܘܩܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܚܕܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܝܕܥܘ ܘܚܒܬ ܒܗܘܢ ܢܘܪܐ ܘܠܐ ܐܝܬܝܘ ܥܠ ܒܠܗܘܢ
blhwn el 'ythyw wl' nwr' bhwn wkhbth ydew wl' khdryhwn mn 'nwn 'wqd dqrb' wewshn' drwgzh khmth' elyhwn 'shd
Therefore he poured the fierceness of his anger on him, and the strength of battle. It set him on fire all around, but he didn’t know. It burned him, but he didn’t take it to heart.”
