ܘܝ ܠܕܢܚܬܝܢ ܠܡܨܪܝܢ ܠܡܬܥܕܪܘ ܘܥܠ ܪ̈ܟܫܐ ܡܬܬܟܠܝܢ ܘܡܬܬܟܠܝܢ ܥܠ ܡܪ̈ܟܒܬܐ ܣܓܝܐ̈ܬܐ ܘܥܠ ܦܪ̈ܫܐ ܕܛܒ ܥܫܝܢܝܢ ܘܠܐ ܐܬܬܟܠܘ ܥܠ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܠܡܪܝܐ ܠܐ ܒܥܘ
bew l' wlmry' d'ysryl qdysh' el 'ththklw wl' eshynyn dTb prsh' wel sgy'th' mrkbth' el wmththklyn mththklyn rksh' wel lmthedrw lmtsryn ldnkhthyn wy
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek Yahweh!

ܘܒܚܟܡܬܗ ܐܝܬܝ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܡ̈ܠܘܗܝ ܠܐ ܐܥܒܪ ܘܩܡ ܥܠ ܒܝܬܐ ܕܒܝܫ̈ܐ ܘܥܠ ܥܘܕܪܢܐ ܕܥ̈ܒ̇ܕܝ ܥܘܠܐ
ewl' debdy ewdrn' wel dbysh' byth' el wqm 'ebr l' wmlwhy byshth' 'ythy wbkhkmthh
Yet he also is wise, and will bring disaster, and will not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of those who work iniquity.

ܘܡܨܪ̈ܝܐ ܐܢܫܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܗܘܘ ܐ̈ܠܗܐ ܘܪܟܫܗܘܢ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܗܘܘ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܘܡܪܝܐ ܢܪܟܢ ܐܝܕܗ ܘܢܣܬܚܦ ܡܥܕܪܢܐ ܘܢܦܠ ܐܦ ܗ̇ܘ ܕܡܬܥܕܪ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܢܣܘܦܘܢ
nswpwn 'kkhd' wklhwn dmthedr hw 'p wnpl medrn' wnsthkhp 'ydh nrkn wmry' drwkh' hww wl' 'nwn dbsr' wrkshhwn 'lh' hww wl' 'nwn 'nsh' wmtsry'
Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When Yahweh stretches out his hand, both he who helps shall stumble, and he who is helped shall fall, and they all shall be consumed together.

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܢܗ̇ܡ ܐܪܝܐ ܘܓܘܪܝܐ ܕܐܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܬܒ̇ܪ ܘܩ̇ܥܝܢ ܒܗ ܣܘܓܐܐ ܕܪ̈ܥܘܬܐ ܘܡܢ ܩܠܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܕܚ̇ܠ ܘܡܢ ܣܘܓܐܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܡܬܬܙܝܥ ܗܟܢܐ ܢܚܘܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܠܡܬܚܝܠܘ ܥܠ ܛܘܪܐ ܕܨܗܝܘܢ ܘܥܠ ܪ̈ܡܬܗ̇
rmthh wel dtshywn Twr' el lmthkhylw khylthn' mry' nkhwth hkn' mththzye l' swg'hwn wmn dkhl l' qlhwn wmn drewth' swg'' bh wqeyn dthbr mdm el d'ry' wgwry' 'ry' dnhm 'yk mry' ly 'mr dhkn' mTl
For Yahweh says to me, “As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds is called together against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for their noise, so Yahweh of Armies will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its heights.

ܐܝܟ ܨܦܪ̈ܐ ܕܦܪ̈ܚܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܢܓܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܥܠ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܢܓܢ ܘܢܦܨܐ ܘܢܣܝܥ ܘܢܥܕܪ
wnedr wnsye wnpts' ngn 'wrshlm el khylthn' mry' ngn hkn' dprkhn tspr' 'yk
As birds hovering, so Yahweh of Armies will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it. He will pass over and preserve it.”

ܬܘܒܘ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ̈ ܕܐܥܫܢܬܘܢ ܡܪܕܘܬܐ
mrdwth' d'eshnthwn 'ysryl bny thwbw
Return to him from whom you have deeply revolted, children of Israel.

ܡܛܠ ܕܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܢܣܠܘܢ ܐܢܫܐ ܦܬܟܪ̈ܐ ܕܣܐܡܐ ܘܕܕܗܒܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܠܟܘܢ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܟܘܢ ܚܛܝܬܐ
khTyth' 'ydykwn lkwn debd wddhb' ds'm' pthkr' 'nsh' nslwn hw dbywm' mTl
For in that day everyone shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold—sin which your own hands have made for you.

ܘܢ̇ܦܠ ܐܬܘܪܝܐ ܒܚܪܒܐ ܚܪܒܐ ܠܐ ܕܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܘܚܪܒܐ ܠܐ ܕܓܢܒܪ̈ܐ ܬܐܟܠܝܘܗܝ ܘܢܥܪܘܩ ܠܗ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܚܪܒܐ ܘܥ̈ܠܝܡܘܗܝ ܠܐܬܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ
nhwwn l'th' welymwhy khrb' qdm mn lh wnerwq th'klywhy dgnbr' l' wkhrb' dgbr' l' khrb' bkhrb' 'thwry' wnpl
“The Assyrian will fall by the sword, not of man; and the sword, not of mankind, shall devour him. He will flee from the sword, and his young men will become subject to forced labor.

ܘܫܩܝܦܐ ܕܡܥܡܪܗ ܢܥܒܪ ܘܢܬܬܒܪܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܬܐ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܢܘܗܝ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܢܘܗܪܗ ܒܨܗܝܘܢ ܘܬܢܘܪܗ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ
b'wrshlm wthnwrh btshywn dnwhrh mry' 'mr rwrbnwhy 'th' mn wnththbrwn nebr dmemrh wshqyp'
His rock will pass away by reason of terror, and his princes will be afraid of the banner,” says Yahweh, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
