בעדנא ההיא ישבחון תושבחתא חדתא בארעא דבית יהודה קרית תוקפא לנא פורקן יתשם על שורהא ורחמין:
wrkhmyn shwrha el ythshm pwrqn lna thwqpa qryth yhwdh dbyth barea khdtha thwshbkhtha yshbkhwn hhya bedna
In that day, this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city. God appoints salvation for walls and bulwarks.

פתחו תרעיא ויעול עמא זכאה די נטרו אוריתא בלבב שלם:
shlm blbb awrytha nTrw dy zkah ema wyewl threya pthkhw
Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter: the one which keeps faith.

בלבב שלם נטרו שלמא שלמא יתעביד להון ארי במימרך אתרחיצו:
athrkhytsw bmymrk ary lhwn ythebyd shlma shlma nTrw shlm blbb
You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

אתרחיצו על מימרא דיי לעלם ולעלמי עלמיא בכן תתפרקון במימר דחילא דיי תקיף עלמיא:
elmya thqyp dyy dkhyla bmymr ththprqwn bkn elmya wlelmy lelm dyy mymra el athrkhytsw
Trust in Yahweh forever; for in Yah, Yahweh, is an everlasting Rock.

ארי אמאיך יתבי רומא קריא תקיפא ימאכינא וירמינה עד ארעא ימטינה עד עפרא:
epra ed ymTynh area ed wyrmynh ymakyna thqypa qrya rwma ythby amayk ary
For he has brought down those who dwell on high, the lofty city. He lays it low. He lays it low even to the ground. He brings it even to the dust.

ידושונה רגלין רגלי צדיקיא פרסת ענותניא חשיכי עמא:
ema khshyky enwthnya prsth tsdyqya rgly rglyn ydwshwnh
The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor and the steps of the needy.”

אורחת צדיקיא כונן אף עבדו אורחת צדיקיא תתקן:
ththqn tsdyqya awrkhth ebdw ap kwnn tsdyqya awrkhth
The way of the just is uprightness. You who are upright make the path of the righteous level.

אף לאורח דינך יי סברנא לשמך ולדכרנך חמדת נפשנא:
npshna khmdth wldkrnk lshmk sbrna yy dynk lawrkh ap
Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you. Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul.

נפשי מחמדא לצלאה קדמך בליליא אף רוחי במעי מברכא לך ארי כמא דדינך תקין לארעא קושטא יתאלפון למעבד דדירין בתבל:
bthbl ddyryn lmebd ythalpwn qwshTa larea thqyn ddynk kma ary lk mbrka bmey rwkhy ap blylya qdmk ltslah mkhmda npshy
With my soul I have desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me I will seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

יהבתא להון ארכא לרשיעיא אם יתובון לאוריתך ולא תבו כל יומין דהוו קימין יעבדון קשוט על ארעא חוו שקרין אף אינון לא יחזון בתושבחת יקרך יי:
yy yqrk bthwshbkhth ykhzwn la aynwn ap shqryn khww area el qshwT yebdwn qymyn dhww ywmyn kl thbw wla lawrythk ythwbwn am lrshyeya arka lhwn yhbtha
Let favor be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness. In the land of uprightness he will deal wrongfully, and will not see Yahweh’s majesty.

יי כד תתגלי בגבורתך לאוטבא לדחלתך לא ינהר לסנאי עמך יחזון רשיעיא ויבהתון פורענות עמא תחפינון אף אשתא לבעלי דבבך תשיצי:
thshytsy dbbk lbely ashtha ap thkhpynwn ema pwrenwth wybhthwn rshyeya ykhzwn emk lsnay ynhr la ldkhlthk lawTba bgbwrthk ththgly kd yy
Yahweh, your hand is lifted up, yet they don’t see; but they will see your zeal for the people and be disappointed. Yes, fire will consume your adversaries.

יי תתקין שלמא לנא ארי בכל עדן חסיכנא מחובנא את עביד עמנא:
emna ebyd ath mkhwbna khsykna edn bkl ary lna shlma ththqyn yy
Yahweh, you will ordain peace for us, for you have also done all our work for us.

יי אלהנא שליטו בנא עממיא למהוי עלנא רבונין בר מנך ברם במימרך אנחנא רחיצין בשמך אנחנא מודן:
mwdn ankhna bshmk rkhytsyn ankhna bmymrk brm mnk br rbwnyn elna lmhwy emmya bna shlyTw alhna yy
Yahweh our God, other lords besides you have had dominion over us, but we will only acknowledge your name.

אינון פלחין למתין דלא יחון לגברהון דלא יקומון בכן כד תסער עליהון חוביהון ותשיצינון ותוביד כל דכרנהון:
dkrnhwn kl wthwbyd wthshytsynwn khwbyhwn elyhwn thser kd bkn yqwmwn dla lgbrhwn ykhwn dla lmthyn plkhyn aynwn
The dead shall not live. The departed spirits shall not rise. Therefore you have visited and destroyed them, and caused all memory of them to perish.

אתגליתא לכנשא מבדרי עמך יי אף עתיד את לקרבא גלותהון לאתגלאה בגבורתך לרחקא כל רשיעיא לגהנם:
lghnm rshyeya kl lrkhqa bgbwrthk lathglah glwthhwn lqrba ath ethyd ap yy emk mbdry lknsha athglytha
You have increased the nation, O Yahweh. You have increased the nation! You are glorified! You have enlarged all the borders of the land.

יי בעקא הוו דכירין לדחלתך בעקתהון הוו מלפין אולפן אוריתך בחשי:
bkhshy awrythk awlpn mlpyn hww beqthhwn ldkhlthk dkyryn hww beqa yy
Yahweh, in trouble they have visited you. They poured out a prayer when your chastening was on them.

כמעדיא דמטא דבעדן מילדה זיעא ומצוחא בחבלהא כן הוינא מן קדם דחבנא קדמך יי:
yy qdmk dkhbna qdm mn hwyna kn bkhblha wmtswkha zyea myldh dbedn dmTa kmedya
Just as a woman with child, who draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain and cries out in her pangs, so we have been before you, Yahweh.

אחדתנא עקא כמעדיא דמטת עדן מילדה קליל כרוחא פורקן לא איתיאו ארעא לא עבדו אף פרישן לא יכלין למעבד דדירין בתבל:
bthbl ddyryn lmebd yklyn la pryshn ap ebdw la area aythyaw la pwrqn krwkha qlyl myldh edn dmTth kmedya eqa akhdthna
We have been with child. We have been in pain. We gave birth, it seems, only to wind. We have not worked any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

את הוא מחיי מיתין גרמי נבלתהון את מקים יחון וישבחון קדמך כל דהוו רמן בעפרא ארי טל נהור טלך לעבדי אוריתך ורשיעיא די יהבתא להון גבורא ואינון עברו על מימרך לגהנם תמסר:
thmsr lghnm mymrk el ebrw waynwn gbwra lhwn yhbtha dy wrshyeya awrythk lebdy Tlk nhwr Tl ary bepra rmn dhww kl qdmk wyshbkhwn ykhwn mqym ath nblthhwn grmy mythyn mkhyy hwa ath
Your dead shall live. Their dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth will cast out the departed spirits.

אזיל עמי עביד לך עובדין טבין דיגנון עלך בעדן עקא אטמר כזעיר זמן עד דיעדי לוט:
lwT dyedy ed zmn kzeyr aTmr eqa bedn elk dygnwn Tbyn ewbdyn lk ebyd emy azyl
Come, my people, enter into your rooms, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for a little moment, until the indignation is past.

ארי הא יי מתגלי מאתר שכנתה לאסערא חוב יתיב ארעא עלוהי ותגלי ארעא על דם זכאי דאתשיד בה ולא תכסי עוד על קטילהא:
qTylha el ewd thksy wla bh dathshyd zkay dm el area wthgly elwhy area ythyb khwb lasera shknthh mathr mthgly yy ha ary
For, behold, Yahweh comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also will disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.
