מטל כס דלוט לאשקאה ית צור אילילו נחתי ספיני ימא ארי אתבזיזו מחוזיהון מלמיתי מארעא כסאי אתי עליהון:
elyhwn athy ksay marea mlmythy mkhwzyhwn athbzyzw ary yma spyny nkhthy aylylw tswr yth lashqah dlwT ks mTl
The burden of Tyre. Howl, you ships of Tarshish! For it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in. From the land of Kittim it is revealed to them.

אתברו יתבי ניסא תגרי צידון דהוו עדן בימא מלוך:
mlwk byma edn dhww tsydwn thgry nysa ythby athbrw
Be still, you inhabitants of the coast, you whom the merchants of Sidon that pass over the sea have replenished.

דהות מספקא סחורא לעממין סגיאין דבחצד כנישת נהרא עללתה נהרא סחורא לעממיא:
lemmya skhwra nhra ellthh nhra knyshth dbkhtsd sgyayn lemmyn skhwra mspqa dhwth
On great waters, the seed of the Shihor, the harvest of the Nile, was her revenue. She was the market of nations.

בהיתו צידונאי ארי אמר מערבאה די יתיב בתקוף ימא למימר לוי לא מרעית לא אעדיתי ולא רביתי עולמין פנקית בתולן:
bthwln pnqyth ewlmyn rbythy wla aedythy la mreyth la lwy lmymr yma bthqwp ythyb dy merbah amr ary tsydwnay bhythw
Be ashamed, Sidon; for the sea has spoken, the stronghold of the sea, saying, “I have not travailed, nor given birth, neither have I nourished young men, nor brought up virgins.”

כמא די שמעו למחתא דלקו מצראי זעו כד שמעו צוראי:
tswray shmew kd zew mtsray dlqw lmkhtha shmew dy kma
When the report comes to Egypt, they will be in anguish at the report of Tyre.

גלו למדינת ימא אילילו יתבי גיסא:
gysa ythby aylylw yma lmdynth glw
Pass over to Tarshish! Wail, you inhabitants of the coast!

ההדא לכון תקיפתא צור מיומי קדם מלקדמין הוו מיתן לה תקרובתא מארע רחיקא כדו לאתותבא הא גליא:
glya ha lathwthba kdw rkhyqa mare thqrwbtha lh mythn hww mlqdmyn qdm mywmy tswr thqyptha lkwn hhda
Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days, whose feet carried her far away to travel?

מן מליך דא על צור דהית ממלכא מלכין די תגרהא רברבין שלטונאה יקירי ארעא:
area yqyry shlTwnah rbrbyn thgrha dy mlkyn mmlka dhyth tswr el da mlyk mn
Who has planned this against Tyre, the giver of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are the honorable of the earth?

יי צבאות מלכה לאפסא יקר כל חדותא לאקלא כל יקירי ארעא:
area yqyry kl laqla khdwtha kl yqr lapsa mlkh tsbawth yy
Yahweh of Armies has planned it, to stain the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.

גלא מארעיך כמי נהרא ערוקי למדינת ימא לית תקוף עוד:
ewd thqwp lyth yma lmdynth erwqy nhra kmy mareyk gla
Pass through your land like the Nile, daughter of Tarshish. There is no restraint any more.

גבורתה מרממא על ימא לאזעא מלכותא יי פקיד על כנענאה לשיצאה תוקפאה:
thwqpah lshytsah knenah el pqyd yy mlkwtha lazea yma el mrmma gbwrthh
He has stretched out his hand over the sea. He has shaken the kingdoms. Yahweh has ordered the destruction of Canaan’s strongholds.

ואמר לא תוספון עוד למתקף דהויתון אנסין לעמא די בצידון לכתים קומו גלו אף לתמן לא יהי לכון ניח:
nykh lkwn yhy la lthmn ap glw qwmw lkthym btsydwn dy lema ansyn dhwythwn lmthqp ewd thwspwn la wamr
He said, “You shall rejoice no more, you oppressed virgin daughter of Sidon. Arise, pass over to Kittim. Even there you will have no rest.”

הא ארעא כסדאי דין עמא כד לא הוה אתוראה שכללה לנגון אקימו חזותהא פגרו ברניתהא שויוהא לדמחמרא:
ldmkhmra shwywha brnythha pgrw khzwthha aqymw lngwn shkllh athwrah hwh la kd ema dyn ksday area ha
Behold, the land of the Chaldeans. This people didn’t exist. The Assyrians founded it for those who dwell in the wilderness. They set up their towers. They overthrew its palaces. They made it a ruin.

אילילו נחתי ספיני ימא ארי אתבזיזו מחוזי תוקפכון:
thwqpkwn mkhwzy athbzyzw ary yma spyny nkhthy aylylw
Howl, you ships of Tarshish, for your stronghold is laid waste!

ויהי בעדנא ההיא ותתרחיק צור שבעין שנין כיומי מלכא חד מסוף שבעין שנין יהי לצור כתושבחת נפקת ברא:
bra npqth kthwshbkhth ltswr yhy shnyn shbeyn mswp khd mlka kywmy shnyn shbeyn tswr wththrkhyq hhya bedna wyhy
It will come to pass in that day that Tyre will be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king. After the end of seventy years it will be to Tyre like in the song of the prostitute.

אתחליף יקריך אטלטל למדינא קרתא די הות כנפקת ברא אתרחקת הפוכי כנריך לאבלא וזמריך לאליא מאים יעול דכרניך:
dkrnyk yewl maym lalya wzmryk labla knryk hpwky athrkhqth bra knpqth hwth dy qrtha lmdyna aTlTl yqryk athkhlyp
Take a harp; go about the city, you prostitute that has been forgotten. Make sweet melody. Sing many songs, that you may be remembered.

ויהי מסוף שבעין שנין יעול דכרנה דצור קדם יי ותתוב לאתרה ותהי מספקא סחורא לכל מלכות עממיא די על אפי ארעא:
area apy el dy emmya mlkwth lkl skhwra mspqa wthhy lathrh wththwb yy qdm dtswr dkrnh yewl shnyn shbeyn mswp wyhy
It will happen after the end of seventy years that Yahweh will visit Tyre. She will return to her wages, and will play the prostitute with all the kingdoms of the world on the surface of the earth.

ויהי סחורתה ואגרה קודשא קדם יי לא יתאצר ולא יתגנז ארי לדמשמשין קדם יי יהי אגרה למיכל למסבע ולכסו דיקר:
dyqr wlksw lmsbe lmykl agrh yhy yy qdm ldmshmshyn ary ythgnz wla ythatsr la yy qdm qwdsha wagrh skhwrthh wyhy
Her merchandise and her wages will be holiness to Yahweh. It will not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise will be for those who dwell before Yahweh, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.
