בשתא דאתא תרתן לאשדוד כד שלח יתה סרגון מלכא דאתור ואגיח קרבא באשדוד וכבשה:
wkbshh bashdwd qrba wagykh dathwr mlka srgwn ythh shlkh kd lashdwd thrthn datha bshtha
In the year that Tartan came to Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him, and he fought against Ashdod and took it;

בעדנא ההיא גזר יי ביד ישעיה בר אמוץ למימר אזיל ותיסר סקא בחרצך ומסנך תשלוף מעל רגלך ועבד כן אזל פחיח ויחף:
wykhp pkhykh azl kn webd rglk mel thshlwp wmsnk bkhrtsk sqa wthysr azyl lmymr amwts br ysheyh byd yy gzr hhya bedna
at that time Yahweh spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, “Go, and loosen the sackcloth from off your waist, and take your sandals from off your feet.” He did so, walking naked and barefoot.

ואמר יי כמא דהליך עבדי ישעיהו פחיח ויחיף תלת שנין את ומופת על מצראי ועל כושאי:
kwshay wel mtsray el wmwpth ath shnyn thlth wykhyp pkhykh ysheyhw ebdy dhlyk kma yy wamr
Yahweh said, “As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia,

כן ידבר מלכא דאתור ית שבי מצרים וית גלות כוש עולימין וסבין פחיחין ויחיפין וגסן עריה קלן מצרים:
mtsrym qln eryh wgsn wykhypyn pkhykhyn wsbyn ewlymyn kwsh glwth wyth mtsrym shby yth dathwr mlka ydbr kn
so the king of Assyria will lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

ויתברון ויבהתון מכוש בית רוחצניהון ומן מצרים תושבחתהון:
thwshbkhthhwn mtsrym wmn rwkhtsnyhwn byth mkwsh wybhthwn wythbrwn
They will be dismayed and confounded, because of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

וימר יתיב נסא הדין בעדנא ההיא הכדין הוה בית רוחצנא דהוינא סבירין למערוק לתמן לסעיד לאשתיזבא מן קדם מלכא דאתור עד כדון נפשהון לא שזיבו ואיכדין נשתזיב אנחנא:
ankhna nshthzyb waykdyn shzybw la npshhwn kdwn ed dathwr mlka qdm mn lashthyzba lseyd lthmn lmerwq sbyryn dhwyna rwkhtsna byth hwh hkdyn hhya bedna hdyn nsa ythyb wymr
The inhabitants of this coast land will say in that day, ‘Behold, this is our expectation, where we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria. And we, how will we escape?’”
