נבואת ישעיה בר אמוץ דאתנבי על אנש יהודה ויתבי ירושלם בימי עזיה יותם אחז יחזקיהו מלכיא דבית יהודה:
yhwdh dbyth mlkya ykhzqyhw akhz ywthm ezyh bymy yrwshlm wythby yhwdh ansh el dathnby amwts br ysheyh nbwath
The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

שמעו שמיא דזעו כד יהבית אוריתי לעמי ואציתי ארעא דאתרגישת מן קדם פתגמי ארי יי מליל עמי בית ישראל קריתי להון בנין חבבתינון ויקרתנון ואנון מרדו במימרי:
bmymry mrdw wanwn wyqrthnwn khbbthynwn bnyn lhwn qrythy yshral byth emy mlyl yy ary pthgmy qdm mn dathrgyshth area watsythy lemy awrythy yhbyth kd dzew shmya shmew
Hear, heavens, and listen, earth; for Yahweh has spoken: “I have nourished and brought up children and they have rebelled against me.

ידע תורא זבניה וחמרא אוריא דמרוהי ישראל לא אליף למדע דחלתי עמא לא אסתכל למתב לאוריתי:
lawrythy lmthb asthkl la ema dkhlthy lmde alyp la yshral dmrwhy awrya wkhmra zbnyh thwra yde
The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master’s crib; but Israel doesn’t know. My people don’t consider.”

וי על דאתקריאו עם קדיש וחטו כנישא בחירא ואסגיאו חובין אתכניאו בזרעא רחימא ואבאישו אתאמר להון בנין חביבין וחבילו אורחתהון שבקו ית פולחנא דיי קצו בדחלת קדישא דישראל ובדיל עובדיהון בישיא אסתחרו והוו לאחורא:
lakhwra whww asthkhrw byshya ewbdyhwn wbdyl dyshral qdysha bdkhlth qtsw dyy pwlkhna yth shbqw awrkhthhwn wkhbylw khbybyn bnyn lhwn athamr wabayshw rkhyma bzrea athknyaw khwbyn wasgyaw bkhyra knysha wkhTw qdysh em dathqryaw el wy
Ah sinful nation, a people loaded with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken Yahweh. They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They are estranged and backward.

לא מסתכלין למימר על מה לקנא עוד מוספין למחטי ולא אמרין מה דין כל ריש מרע וכל לב דוי:
dwy lb wkl mre rysh kl dyn mh amryn wla lmkhTy mwspyn ewd lqna mh el lmymr msthklyn la
Why should you be beaten more, that you revolt more and more? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

משאר עמא ועד רישא לית בהון דשלים בדחלתי כולהון סרבין ומרדין אתגעלו בחובין כמחא מרססא לא שבקין מזדוניהון ולא מחמדין לתיובתא אף לא זכון להון לאגנא עליהון:
elyhwn lagna lhwn zkwn la ap lthywbtha mkhmdyn wla mzdwnyhwn shbqyn la mrssa kmkha bkhwbyn athgelw wmrdyn srbyn kwlhwn bdkhlthy dshlym bhwn lyth rysha wed ema mshar
From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it, but wounds, welts, and open sores. They haven’t been closed, bandaged, or soothed with oil.

ארעכון צדיא קרויכון יקידת נור ארעכון לקבליכון עממיא מחסנין יתה ובחוביהון צדיאת מנכון אתחלפת והוה לנוכראין:
lnwkrayn whwh athkhlpth mnkwn tsdyath wbkhwbyhwn ythh mkhsnyn emmya lqblykwn arekwn nwr yqydth qrwykwn tsdya arekwn
Your country is desolate. Your cities are burned with fire. Strangers devour your land in your presence and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

ואשתארת כנשתא דציון כמטללתא בכרמא בתר דקטפוהי כערסל מבתותא במקשיא בתר דאבעיוהי כקרתא דצירין עלה:
elh dtsyryn kqrtha dabeywhy bthr bmqshya mbthwtha kersl dqTpwhy bthr bkrma kmTlltha dtsywn knshtha washtharth
The daughter of Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a field of melons, like a besieged city.

אלולפון מותר טוביה דיי צבאות אשאר לנא שיזבא ברחמוהי אית עמנא חובין דכאנש סדום פון אבדנא וכיתבי עמורה אשתיצנא:
ashthytsna emwrh wkythby abdna pwn sdwm dkansh khwbyn emna ayth brkhmwhy shyzba lna ashar tsbawth dyy Twbyh mwthr alwlpwn
Unless Yahweh of Armies had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom. We would have been like Gomorrah.

קבילו פתגמא דיי שלטוניא דעובדיהון בישין כשלטוני סדום אציתו לאוריתא דאלהנא עמא דעבדיהון דמין לעם עמורה:
emwrh lem dmyn debdyhwn ema dalhna lawrytha atsythw sdwm kshlTwny byshyn dewbdyhwn shlTwnya dyy pthgma qbylw
Hear Yahweh’s word, you rulers of Sodom! Listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!

לא רעוא קדמי בסגיאות נכסת קודשיכון אמר יי שבעית מסת עלות דכרין ותרב פטימין ודם תורין ואמרין וגדין דכאלין לא רעוא קדמי בהון:
bhwn qdmy rewa la dkalyn wgdyn wamryn thwryn wdm pTymyn wthrb dkryn elwth msth shbeyth yy amr qwdshykwn nksth bsgyawth qdmy rewa la
“What are the multitude of your sacrifices to me?”, says Yahweh. “I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed animals. I don’t delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of male goats.

כד אתון אתן לאתחזאה קדמי מן תבע דא מידכון למיתי ולאתדשא עזרתי:
ezrthy wlathdsha lmythy mydkwn da thbe mn qdmy lathkhzah athn athwn kd
When you come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to trample my courts?

לא תוספון לאיתאה מנחת אניסא קורבן מרחק הוא קדמי ירחין ושבין כנישא אתון מתכנשין לא שבקין חוביכון לקבלא צלותכון בעדן כנישתכון:
knyshthkwn bedn tslwthkwn lqbla khwbykwn shbqyn la mthknshyn athwn knysha wshbyn yrkhyn qdmy hwa mrkhq qwrbn anysa mnkhth laythah thwspwn la
Bring no more vain offerings. Incense is an abomination to me. New moons, Sabbaths, and convocations— I can’t stand evil assemblies.

ירחיכון ומועדיכון רחיק מימרי הוו קדמי לרחוק אסגיתי למשבק:
lmshbq asgythy lrkhwq qdmy hww mymry rkhyq wmwedykwn yrkhykwn
My soul hates your New Moons and your appointed feasts. They are a burden to me. I am weary of bearing them.

וכד כהניא פרסין ידהון לצלאה עליכון מסליקנא אפי שכנתי מנכון ואף כד אתון מסגן לצלאה לא רעוא קדמי לקבלא צלותכון מדי ידכון דם זכאי מלין:
mlyn zkay dm ydkwn mdy tslwthkwn lqbla qdmy rewa la ltslah msgn athwn kd wap mnkwn shknthy apy mslyqna elykwn ltslah ydhwn prsyn khnya wkd
When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

תובו לאוריתא ואדכו מחוביכון ואעדו בישות עובדיכון מקביל מימרי אתמניעו מלאבאשא:
mlabasha athmnyew mymry mqbyl ewbdykwn byshwth waedw mkhwbykwn wadkw lawrytha thwbw
Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.

אליפו לאוטבא תבעו דינא זכו דאניס דונו דין יתמא עבידו קבילו קבילת ארמלתא:
armltha qbylth qbylw ebydw ythma dyn dwnw danys zkw dyna thbew lawTba alypw
Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”

בכן כד תתובון לאוריתא תבעון מן קדמי ואעביד בעותכון אמר יי אם יהון חוביכון כתימין כצבעונין כתלגא יחורון אם יסמקון כזהריתא כעמר נקי יהון:
yhwn nqy kemr kzhrytha ysmqwn am ykhwrwn kthlga ktsbewnyn kthymyn khwbykwn yhwn am yy amr bewthkwn waebyd qdmy mn thbewn lawrytha ththwbwn kd bkn
“Come now, and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh: “Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

אם תיבון ותקבלו למימרי טובא דארעא תיכלון:
thyklwn darea Twba lmymry wthqblw thybwn am
If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land;
20
ואם תסרבון ולא תקבלון למימרי בחרב סגאה תתקטלון ארי מימרא דיי גזר כן:
kn gzr dyy mymra ary ththqTlwn sgah bkhrb lmymry thqblwn wla thsrbwn wam
but if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured with the sword; for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken it.”

איכדין תבו עובדהא למהוי כטעיתא קרתא מהימנתא דהות מליא עבדי דינא קושטא הוה מתעביד בה וכען אינון קטולי נפשן:
npshn qTwly aynwn wken bh mthebyd hwh qwshTa dyna ebdy mlya dhwth mhymntha qrtha kTeytha lmhwy ewbdha thbw aykdyn
How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She was full of justice. Righteousness lodged in her, but now there are murderers.

כספך הוה לפסולא וחמריך מערב במיא:
bmya merb wkhmryk lpswla hwh kspk
Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water.
23
רברביך מרדין ושותפין לגנבין כולהון רחימין לקבלא שוחדא אמרין גבר לחבריה עביד לי טב בדיני ואשלם לך בדינך דין יתמא לא דינין וקבילת ארמלתא לא עלת לקדמיהון:
lqdmyhwn elth la armltha wqbylth dynyn la ythma dyn bdynk lk washlm bdyny Tb ly ebyd lkhbryh gbr amryn shwkhda lqbla rkhymyn kwlhwn lgnbyn wshwthpyn mrdyn rbrbyk
Your princes are rebellious and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes and follows after rewards. They don’t defend the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come to them.

בכן אמר רבון עלמא יי צבאות תקיפא דישראל קרתא ירושלם אנא עתיד לנחמותה ברם וי לרשיעיא כד אתגלי למעבד פורענות דין מסנאי עמי ואתיב נקמא לבעיל דבבי:
dbby lbeyl nqma wathyb emy msnay dyn pwrenwth lmebd athgly kd lrshyeya wy brm lnkhmwthh ethyd ana yrwshlm qrtha dyshral thqypa tsbawth yy elma rbwn amr bkn
Therefore the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, the Mighty One of Israel, says: “Ah, I will get relief from my adversaries, and avenge myself on my enemies.
25
ואתיב מחת גבורתי עלך ואברר כמא דמנקן בבוריתא כל רשיעיא ואעדי כל חובך:
khwbk kl waedy rshyeya kl bbwrytha dmnqn kma wabrr elk gbwrthy mkhth wathyb
I will turn my hand on you, thoroughly purge away your dross, and will take away all your tin.

ואמני ביך דיני קושטא תקנין כבקדמיתא ומלכי מלכך כד מן אולא ובתר כן יתקרי לך קרתא דקושטא קרתא מהימנתא:
mhymntha qrtha dqwshTa qrtha lk ythqry kn wbthr awla mn kd mlkk wmlky kbqdmytha thqnyn qwshTa dyny byk wamny
I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called ‘The city of righteousness, a faithful town.’
27
ציון כד יתעבד בה דינא תתפרוק ודעבדו אוריתא יתובון לה בזכו:
bzkw lh ythwbwn awrytha wdebdw ththprwq dyna bh ythebd kd tsywn
Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and her converts with righteousness.
28
ויתברון מרודין וחיבין כחדא ודשבקו אוריתא דיי ישתיצון:
yshthytswn dyy awrytha wdshbqw kkhda wkhybyn mrwdyn wythbrwn
But the destruction of transgressors and sinners shall be together, and those who forsake Yahweh shall be consumed.
29
ארי תתבהתון מאילני טעותא דחמדתון ותתכנעון מגני טעותא דאתון מסתיעין בהון:
bhwn msthyeyn dathwn Tewtha mgny wththknewn dkhmdthwn Tewtha maylny ththbhthwn ary
For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which you have desired, and you shall be confounded for the gardens that you have chosen.
30
ארי תהון כבוטמא די מנתר טרפוהי וכגנת שקיא דמין לית לה:
lh lyth dmyn shqya wkgnth Trpwhy mnthr dy kbwTma thhwn ary
For you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.
31
ויהי תוקפיהון דרשיעיא כנעורת כתנא ועובד ידהון כניצוץ נורא כמא דמקרבין דין לסטר דין ודלקין תרויהון כחדא כן יסופון רשיעיא אינון ועובדיהון בישיא ולא יהא עליהון חיס:
khys elyhwn yha wla byshya wewbdyhwn aynwn rshyeya yswpwn kn kkhda thrwyhwn wdlqyn dyn lsTr dyn dmqrbyn kma nwra knytswts ydhwn wewbd kthna knewrth drshyeya thwqpyhwn wyhy
The strong will be like tinder, and his work like a spark. They will both burn together, and no one will quench them.”
