מטל כס דלוט לאשקאה ית מצראי הא יי מתגלי בענן יקרה לאתפרעא ממצרים ויתברו טעות מצראי מן קדמוהי ולבא דמצראי יתמסי במעיהון:
bmeyhwn ythmsy dmtsray wlba qdmwhy mn mtsray Tewth wythbrw mmtsrym lathprea yqrh benn mthgly yy ha mtsray yth lashqah dlwT ks mTl
The burden of Egypt. “Behold, Yahweh rides on a swift cloud, and comes to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence; and the heart of Egypt will melt within it.

ואגרי מצראי במצראי ויגיחון קרב גבר באחוהי וגבר בחברה קרי בקרי ומלכו במלכו:
bmlkw wmlkw bqry qry bkhbrh wgbr bakhwhy gbr qrb wygykhwn bmtsray mtsray wagry
I will stir up the Egyptians against the Egyptians, and they will fight everyone against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

ותתמסי רוחא דמצראי במעיהון וחכימיהון אסלעם ויתבעון מן טעון ומן חרשין ומן בידין ומן זכורו:
zkwrw wmn bydyn wmn khrshyn wmn Tewn mn wythbewn aslem wkhkymyhwn bmeyhwn dmtsray rwkha wththmsy
The spirit of the Egyptians will fail within them. I will destroy their counsel. They will seek the idols, the charmers, those who have familiar spirits, and the wizards.

ואמסר ית מצראי ביד רבון קשי ומלך תקיף ישלוט בהון אמר רבון עלמא יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy elma rbwn amr bhwn yshlwT thqyp wmlk qshy rbwn byd mtsray yth wamsr
I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel lord. A fierce king will rule over them,” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies.

ויצדון מיא מימא ונהרהון יחרוב וייבש:
wyybsh ykhrwb wnhrhwn myma mya wytsdwn
The waters will fail from the sea, and the river will be wasted and become dry.

ויצדון נהרותהון ויבשון ויחרבון נהריהון עמיקיא קני וגומא לא יסקון:
ysqwn la wgwma qny emyqya nhryhwn wykhrbwn wybshwn nhrwthhwn wytsdwn
The rivers will become foul. The streams of Egypt will be diminished and dried up. The reeds and flags will wither away.

וייבש רובה דנהרא ויהי בכיפי וכל בית מזרע נהרהון ייבש ויחרב ולא יצמח:
ytsmkh wla wykhrb yybsh nhrhwn mzre byth wkl bkypy wyhy dnhra rwbh wyybsh
The meadows by the Nile, by the brink of the Nile, and all the sown fields of the Nile, will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.

ויצדון צידי נוניא ויתאבלון כל דהוו רמן בנהרא חכתא ופרסי מצדן על אפי מיא יצדון:
ytsdwn mya apy el mtsdn wprsy khktha bnhra rmn dhww kl wythablwn nwnya tsydy wytsdwn
The fishermen will lament, and all those who fish in the Nile will mourn, and those who spread nets on the waters will languish.

ויבהתון פלחי כתנא דסריקין ומחן מנה מצדן:
mtsdn mnh wmkhn dsryqyn kthna plkhy wybhthwn
Moreover those who work in combed flax, and those who weave white cloth, will be confounded.

ויהי אתר בית שתי מחא כבישין אתר דהוו עבדין סכרא וכנשין מיא גבר לנפשה:
lnpshh gbr mya wknshyn skra ebdyn dhww athr kbyshyn mkha shthy byth athr wyhy
The pillars will be broken in pieces. All those who work for hire will be grieved in soul.

ברם אטפשו רברבי טאנס חכימיא דמלכוהי לפרעה מלך דטעו איכדין תמרון לפרעה בני חכימין אנחנא ואת בר מלכין דמלקדמין:
dmlqdmyn mlkyn br wath ankhna khkymyn bny lpreh thmrwn aykdyn dTew mlk lpreh dmlkwhy khkymya Tans rbrby aTpshw brm
The princes of Zoan are utterly foolish. The counsel of the wisest counselors of Pharaoh has become stupid. How do you say to Pharaoh, “I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings”?

אן אינון חכימך ויחוון כען לך וידעון מה מלך יי צבאות על מצרים:
mtsrym el tsbawth yy mlk mh wydewn lk ken wykhwwn khkymk aynwn an
Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you now; and let them know what Yahweh of Armies has purposed concerning Egypt.

אטפשו רברבי טאנס טעו אנש מפיס אטעיו ית מצראי רבני פלכהא:
plkha rbny mtsray yth aTeyw mpys ansh Tew Tans rbrby aTpshw
The princes of Zoan have become fools. The princes of Memphis are deceived. They have caused Egypt to go astray, those who are the cornerstone of her tribes.

יי רמא ביניהון רוח דטעו ואטעיאו ית מצרים בכל עובדיהון כמא דטעי רויא ומדשדש בתיובה:
bthywbh wmdshdsh rwya dTey kma ewbdyhwn bkl mtsrym yth waTeyaw dTew rwkh bynyhwn rma yy
Yahweh has mixed a spirit of perverseness in the middle of her; and they have caused Egypt to go astray in all of its works, like a drunken man staggers in his vomit.

ולא יהי למצרים מלכא דמלך ריש והגמון שלטון ואטרון:
waTrwn shlTwn whgmwn rysh dmlk mlka lmtsrym yhy wla
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which head or tail, palm branch or rush, may do.
16
בעדנא ההיא יהון מצראי חלשין כנשין ויזועון ויתברון מן קדם ארמות גבורתא דיי צבאות דהוא מרים עליהון:
elyhwn mrym dhwa tsbawth dyy gbwrtha armwth qdm mn wythbrwn wyzwewn knshyn khlshyn mtsray yhwn hhya bedna
In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble and fear because of the shaking of Yahweh of Armies’s hand, which he shakes over them.

ותהי ארעא דבית יהודה למצרים לדחלא כל דידכר יתה ליה יזוע מן קדם מלכא דיי צבאות דהוא מליך עליהון:
elyhwn mlyk dhwa tsbawth dyy mlka qdm mn yzwe lyh ythh dydkr kl ldkhla lmtsrym yhwdh dbyth area wthhy
The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt. Everyone to whom mention is made of it will be afraid, because of the plans of Yahweh of Armies, which he determines against it.

בעדנא ההיא יהוין חמש קרוין בארעא דמצרים ממללן ממלל כנענאה וקימן בשמא דיי צבאות קרתא בית שמש דעתידא למחרב יתאמר היא חדא מנהון:
mnhwn khda hya ythamr lmkhrb dethyda shmsh byth qrtha tsbawth dyy bshma wqymn knenah mmll mmlln dmtsrym barea qrwyn khmsh yhwyn hhya bedna
In that day, there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan, and swear to Yahweh of Armies. One will be called “The city of destruction.”

בעדנא ההיא יהי מדבחא מתקן קדם יי בגו ארעא דמצרים וקמתא בסטר תחומה קדם יי:
yy qdm thkhwmh bsTr wqmtha dmtsrym area bgw yy qdm mthqn mdbkha yhy hhya bedna
In that day, there will be an altar to Yahweh in the middle of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to Yahweh at its border.

ויהי לאת ולסהיד קדם יי צבאות בארעא דמצרים ארי יצלון קדם יי מן קדם דחקיהון וישלח להון פריק ודין וישיזבינון:
wyshyzbynwn wdyn pryq lhwn wyshlkh dkhqyhwn qdm mn yy qdm ytslwn ary dmtsrym barea tsbawth yy qdm wlshyd lath wyhy
It will be for a sign and for a witness to Yahweh of Armies in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to Yahweh because of oppressors, and he will send them a savior and a defender, and he will deliver them.
21
ותתגלי גבורתא דיי לאוטבא למצראי וידעון מצראי למדחל מן קדם יי בעדנא ההיא ויפלחון בנכסת קודשין ובקורבנין וינדרון נדרין קדם יי וישלמון:
wyshlmwn yy qdm ndryn wyndrwn wbqwrbnyn qwdshyn bnksth wyplkhwn hhya bedna yy qdm mn lmdkhl mtsray wydewn lmtsray lawTba dyy gbwrtha wththgly
Yahweh will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yahweh in that day. Yes, they will worship with sacrifice and offering, and will vow a vow to Yahweh, and will perform it.
22
וימחי יי ית מצרים מחא ויסנון ויתובון לפולחנא דיי ויקבל צלותיהון ויסי יתהון:
ythhwn wysy tslwthyhwn wyqbl dyy lpwlkhna wythwbwn wysnwn mkha mtsrym yth yy wymkhy
Yahweh will strike Egypt, striking and healing. They will return to Yahweh, and he will be entreated by them, and will heal them.
23
בעדנא ההיא תהי אורח כבישא ממצרים לאתור וינוחון אתוראי למצראי ומצראי באתוראי ויפלחון מצראי ית אתוראי:
athwray yth mtsray wyplkhwn bathwray wmtsray lmtsray athwray wynwkhwn lathwr mmtsrym kbysha awrkh thhy hhya bedna
In that day there will be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria; and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.
24
בעדנא ההיא יהי ישראל תליתאה למצראי ולאתוראי ברכא בגו דארעא:
darea bgw brka wlathwray lmtsray thlythah yshral yhy hhya bedna
In that day, Israel will be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing within the earth;
25
דברכה יי צבאות למימר בריך עמי דאפקית ממצרים דעל דחבו קדמי אגליתי יתהון לאתור וכדו דתבו מתקרן עמי ואחסנתי ישראל:
yshral wakhsnthy emy mthqrn dthbw wkdw lathwr ythhwn aglythy qdmy dkhbw del mmtsrym dapqyth emy bryk lmymr tsbawth yy dbrkh
because Yahweh of Armies has blessed them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.”
