ארי ירחם יי על דבית יעקב ויתרעי עוד בישראל וישרינון על ארעהון ויתוספון גיורין עליהון ויסתמכון על בית יעקב:
yeqb byth el wysthmkwn elyhwn gywryn wythwspwn arehwn el wyshrynwn byshral ewd wythrey yeqb dbyth el yy yrkhm ary
For Yahweh will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. The foreigner will join himself with them, and they will unite with the house of Jacob.

וידברינון עממין ויובלונון לארעהון ויחסנון בית ישראל על ארע שכנתא דיי לעבדין ולאמהן ויהון שבין לשוביהון ויפלחון במשעבדיהון:
bmshebdyhwn wyplkhwn lshwbyhwn shbyn wyhwn wlamhn lebdyn dyy shkntha are el yshral byth wykhsnwn larehwn wywblwnwn emmyn wydbrynwn
The peoples will take them, and bring them to their place. The house of Israel will possess them in Yahweh’s land for servants and for handmaids. They will take as captives those whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

ויהי ביומא דיניח יי לך מצערך וממרותך ומן פולחנא קשיא דאתפלח בך:
bk dathplkh qshya pwlkhna wmn wmmrwthk mtserk lk yy dynykh bywma wyhy
It will happen in the day that Yahweh will give you rest from your sorrow, from your trouble, and from the hard service in which you were made to serve,

ותטול מתלא הדין על מלכא דבבל ותימר איכדין בטילת מרות משעבדנא סף תקוף חיבא:
khyba thqwp sp mshebdna mrwth bTylth aykdyn wthymr dbbl mlka el hdyn mthla wthTwl
that you will take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, “How the oppressor has ceased! The golden city has ceased!”

תבר יי תקוף רשיעין שולטן חיבין:
khybyn shwlTn rshyeyn thqwp yy thbr
Yahweh has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers,

דהוה מחי עממין בתקוף מחא די לא פסיק מפלח בתקוף עממין מפלח ולא מנע:
mne wla mplkh emmyn bthqwp mplkh psyq la dy mkha bthqwp emmyn mkhy dhwh
who struck the peoples in wrath with a continual stroke, who ruled the nations in anger, with a persecution that no one restrained.

נחת שדוכת כל ארעא יבעו תושבחא:
thwshbkha ybew area kl shdwkth nkhth
The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet. They break out in song.

אף שלטונין חדיאו עלך עתירי נכסיא אמרין מעידן דשכיבתא לא סליק מחבלא עלנא:
elna mkhbla slyq la dshkybtha meydn amryn nksya ethyry elk khdyaw shlTwnyn ap
Yes, the cypress trees rejoice with you, with the cedars of Lebanon, saying, “Since you are humbled, no lumberjack has come up against us.”

שאול מלרע זעת לך לקדמות מיתך אעירת לך גברין כל עתירי נכסיא אקימו מכורסותהון כל מלכי עממיא:
emmya mlky kl mkwrswthhwn aqymw nksya ethyry kl gbryn lk aeyrth mythk lqdmwth lk zeth mlre shawl
Sheol from beneath has moved for you to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the departed spirits for you, even all the rulers of the earth. It has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

כולהון יתיבון ויימרון לך אף את מרעתא כותנא לנא דמיתא:
dmytha lna kwthna mretha ath ap lk wyymrwn ythybwn kwlhwn
They all will answer and ask you, “Have you also become as weak as we are? Have you become like us?”

אתחת לשאול יקרך אתרגושת תושבחת זמרך תחותך ישוון רמה ועיל מנך ריחשא:
rykhsha mnk weyl rmh yshwwn thkhwthk zmrk thwshbkhth athrgwshth yqrk lshawl athkhth
Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, with the sound of your stringed instruments. Maggots are spread out under you, and worms cover you.

איכדין אתרכינתא מן רומא דהויתא זיותן בגו בני אנשא ככוכב נוגהא בין כוכביא אתרטישתא לארעא דהויתא קטול בעממיא:
bemmya qTwl dhwytha larea athrTyshtha kwkbya byn nwgha kkwkb ansha bny bgw zywthn dhwytha rwma mn athrkyntha aykdyn
How you have fallen from heaven, shining one, son of the dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, who laid the nations low!

ואת אמרת בלבך לרומא אסק עיל מן עמיה דאלהא אשוי כורסי מלכותי ואתיב בטור זמן בסיפי צפונא:
tspwna bsypy zmn bTwr wathyb mlkwthy kwrsy ashwy dalha emyh mn eyl asq lrwma blbk amrth wath
You said in your heart, “I will ascend into heaven! I will exalt my throne above the stars of God! I will sit on the mountain of assembly, in the far north!

אסק עלוי כל עמא אהי עילאי מכולהון:
mkwlhwn eylay ahy ema kl elwy asq
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds! I will make myself like the Most High!”
15
ברם לשאול תתחת לסיפי גוב בית אבדנא:
abdna byth gwb lsypy ththkhth lshawl brm
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the depths of the pit.
16
חזך עלך ידוקון בך יסתכלון ויימרון הדין גברא אזיע ארעא אצדי מלכותא:
mlkwtha atsdy area azye gbra hdyn wyymrwn ysthklwn bk ydwqwn elk khzk
Those who see you will stare at you. They will ponder you, saying, “Is this the man who made the earth to tremble, who shook kingdoms,

שוי תבל כמדברא וקרווהי פגר לאסירוהי לא פתח תרעא:
threa pthkh la lasyrwhy pgr wqrwwhy kmdbra thbl shwy
who made the world like a wilderness, and overthrew its cities, who didn’t release his prisoners to their home?”
18
כל מלכי עממיא כולהון שכבין ביקר גבר בבית עלמיה:
elmyh bbyth gbr byqr shkbyn kwlhwn emmya mlky kl
All the kings of the nations sleep in glory, everyone in his own house.
19
ואת אתרכיתנא מקברך כחט טמיר חפי קטילין מטעני חרב נחתין לגוב אבני בית אבדנא כפגר מדשדש:
mdshdsh kpgr abdna byth abny lgwb nkhthyn khrb mTeny qTylyn khpy Tmyr kkhT mqbrk athrkythna wath
But you are cast away from your tomb like an abominable branch, clothed with the slain who are thrust through with the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit; like a dead body trodden under foot.

לא תהי כחד מנהון בקבורה ארי ארעך חבילתא ועמך קטילתא לא יתקיים לעלם זרע מבאשין:
mbashyn zre lelm ythqyym la qTyltha wemk khbyltha arek ary bqbwrh mnhwn kkhd thhy la
You will not join them in burial, because you have destroyed your land. You have killed your people. The offspring of evildoers will not be named forever.

אתקינו לבניהון קטול בחובי אבהתהון דלמא יקומון ויחסנון ארעא ויתמלון אפי תבל בעיל דבבו:
dbbw beyl thbl apy wythmlwn area wykhsnwn yqwmwn dlma abhthhwn bkhwby qTwl lbnyhwn athqynw
Prepare for slaughter of his children because of the iniquity of their fathers, that they not rise up and possess the earth, and fill the surface of the world with cities.

ואתגלי לאתפרעא מנהון אמר יי צבאות ואשיצי לבבל שום ושאר בר ובר בר אמר יי:
yy amr br wbr br wshar shwm lbbl washytsy tsbawth yy amr mnhwn lathprea wathgly
“I will rise up against them,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, and son and son’s son,” says Yahweh.

ואשוינה לירותת קופדין בית צדו ביצין דמין ואהממינה כמא דמהממין במבינא ואתבבינה לשיצאה אמר יי צבאות:
tsbawth yy amr lshytsah wathbbynh bmbyna dmhmmyn kma wahmmynh dmyn bytsyn tsdw byth qwpdyn lyrwthth washwynh
“I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, and pools of water. I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” says Yahweh of Armies.

קים יי צבאות למימר אם לא כמא דחשיבית כן תהא וכמא דיעצית היא תקום:
thqwm hya dyetsyth wkma thha kn dkhshybyth kma la am lmymr tsbawth yy qym
Yahweh of Armies has sworn, saying, “Surely, as I have thought, so shall it happen; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

למתבר אתוראה בארעי ועל טורי עמי אדוששיניה ותעדי מנהון מרותיה וניריה מעל צוריהון יתפסק:
ythpsq tswryhwn mel wnyryh mrwthyh mnhwn wthedy adwshshynyh emy Twry wel barey athwrah lmthbr
that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and tread him under foot on my mountains. Then his yoke will leave them, and his burden leave their shoulders.

דא מלכא די מליך על כל יתבי ארעא ודא גבורתא די מרממא דשליט על כל מלכותא:
mlkwtha kl el dshlyT mrmma dy gbwrtha wda area ythby kl el mlyk dy mlka da
This is the plan that is determined for the whole earth. This is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.

ארי יי צבאות מלך ומן יעדי וגבורתיה מרממא ולית דיתיביניה:
dythybynyh wlyth mrmma wgbwrthyh yedy wmn mlk tsbawth yy ary
For Yahweh of Armies has planned, and who can stop it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?”

בשתא דמית מלכא אחז הוה מטל נבואתא הדא:
hda nbwatha mTl hwh akhz mlka dmyth bshtha
This burden was in the year that King Ahaz died.

לא תיחדון פלשתאי כולכון ארי אתבר שולטן דהוה מפלח בכון ארי מבני בנוהי דישי יפוק משיחא ויהון עובדוהי בכון כחיוי מפריח:
mprykh kkhywy bkwn ewbdwhy wyhwn mshykha ypwq dyshy bnwhy mbny ary bkwn mplkh dhwh shwlTn athbr ary kwlkwn plshthay thykhdwn la
Don’t rejoice, O Philistia, all of you, because the rod that struck you is broken; for out of the serpent’s root an adder will emerge, and his fruit will be a fiery flying serpent.

ויתפרנסון חשיכי עמא וענותניא ביומוהי לרוחצן ישרון וימית בכפנא בנך ושאר עמיך יקטול:
yqTwl emyk wshar bnk bkpna wymyth yshrwn lrwkhtsn bywmwhy wenwthnya ema khshyky wythprnswn
The firstborn of the poor will eat, and the needy will lie down in safety; and I will kill your root with famine, and your remnant will be killed.

אלילי על תרעך צוחי על קרוך אתברתון פלשתאי כולכון ארי מצפונא פורענותא אתי ולית דמאחר בזמנוהי:
bzmnwhy dmakhr wlyth athy pwrenwtha mtspwna ary kwlkwn plshthay athbrthwn qrwk el tswkhy threk el alyly
Howl, gate! Cry, city! You are melted away, Philistia, all of you; for smoke comes out of the north, and there is no straggler in his ranks.
