יימרון אתו ונתוב לפולחנא דיי ארי הוא די מחנא ויסננא ודאיתי עלנא תבר יניח לנא:
lna ynykh thbr elna wdaythy wysnna mkhna dy hwa ary dyy lpwlkhna wnthwb athw yymrwn
“Come! Let’s return to Yahweh; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has injured us, and he will bind up our wounds.

יחיננא ליומי נחמתא דעתידין למיתי ביום אחיות מיתיא יקימיננא ונחי קדמוהי:
qdmwhy wnkhy yqymynna mythya akhywth bywm lmythy dethydyn nkhmtha lywmy ykhynna
After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him.

ונילף נרדוף למידע ית דחלתא דיי כנהור צפרא דמקשיט במפקיה ויתין ברכל לנא כמטר מגבר כלקישא דמרוי ארעא:
area dmrwy klqysha mgbr kmTr lna brkl wythyn bmpqyh dmqshyT tspra knhwr dyy dkhltha yth lmyde nrdwp wnylp
Let’s acknowledge Yahweh. Let’s press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”

מן קדם דין דקשוט מא אעביד לכון דבית יהודה וטבותכון כענן צפרא וכטלא דמוהי פסיק:
psyq dmwhy wkTla tspra kenn wTbwthkwn yhwdh dbyth lkwn aebyd ma dqshwT dyn qdm mn
“Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.

על כן דאזהרתינון בשליחות נביי ולא תבו איתיתי עליכון קטולין על דעברו על מימר רעותי ודיני כנהור נפק:
npq knhwr wdyny rewthy mymr el debrw el qTwlyn elykwn aythythy thbw wla nbyy bshlykhwth dazhrthynwn kn el
Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth. Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.

ארי בעבדי חיסדא רעוא קדמי ממדבח ועבדי אוריתא דיי ממסקי עלון:
elwn mmsqy dyy awrytha webdy mmdbkh qdmy rewa khysda bebdy ary
For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

ואינון כדריא קדמאי עברו על קימי ובארעא טבא דיהבית להון למעבד רעותי תמן שקרו במימרי:
bmymry shqrw thmn rewthy lmebd lhwn dyhbyth Tba wbarea qymy el ebrw qdmay kdrya waynwn
But they, like Adam, have broken the covenant. They were unfaithful to me there.

גלעד קרית אנוסין בנכלין אשדין דם זכאי:
zkay dm ashdyn bnklyn anwsyn qryth gled
Gilead is a city of those who work iniquity; it is stained with blood.

וכמא מסבר אנש למשרין אתחברו אינון וכהניהון באורחא חדא קטלין נפשן כתף חד ארי עיצת חטאין עבדו:
ebdw khTayn eytsth ary khd kthp npshn qTlyn khda bawrkha wkhnyhwn aynwn athkhbrw lmshryn ansh msbr wkma
As gangs of robbers wait to ambush a man, so the company of priests murder on the path toward Shechem, committing shameful crimes.

בבית ישראל חזיתי שנו אשניאו קימא דגזיר עמהון קימא דגזיר עמהון דלא למפלח לטעותא תבו אינון למטעי בתר עגליא בבית אל תמן טעו בית אפרים אסתאבו בית ישראל:
yshral byth asthabw aprym byth Tew thmn al bbyth eglya bthr lmTey aynwn thbw lTewtha lmplkh dla emhwn dgzyr qyma emhwn dgzyr qyma ashnyaw shnw khzythy yshral bbyth
In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing. There is prostitution in Ephraim. Israel is defiled.
