ויהי מנין בני ישראל כחלא דימא דלא מתכל ודלא מתמני ויהי באתרא דאתגליאו ביני עממיא כד עברו על אוריתא ואתאמר להון לא עמי אתון יתובון ויתרבון ויתאמר להון עמיה דאלהא קימא:
qyma dalha emyh lhwn wythamr wythrbwn ythwbwn athwn emy la lhwn wathamr awrytha el ebrw kd emmya byny dathglyaw bathra wyhy mthmny wdla mthkl dla dyma kkhla yshral bny mnyn wyhy
“Say to your brothers, ‘My people!’ and to your sisters, ‘My loved one!’

ויתכנשון בני יהודה ובני ישראל כחדא וימנון להון ריש חד מן בית דוד ויסקון מן ארעא גלותהון ארי רב יום כנישתהון:
knyshthhwn ywm rb ary glwthhwn area mn wysqwn dwd byth mn khd rysh lhwn wymnwn kkhda yshral wbny yhwdh bny wythknshwn
Contend with your mother! Contend, for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband; and let her put away her prostitution from her face, and her adulteries from between her breasts;

נבייא אמרו לאחיכון עמי תובו לאוריתי ועל כנישתכון ארחם:
arkhm knyshthkwn wel lawrythy thwbw emy lakhykwn amrw nbyya
lest I strip her naked, and make her bare as in the day that she was born, and make her like a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and kill her with thirst.

אוכחו לכנשתא דישראל ואמרו לה ארי היא לא מתעניא בפולחני ומימרי לא מקבל צלותה עד דתעדי עובדהא בישיא מקביל אפהא ופולחן טעותהא מבין קרוהא:
qrwha mbyn Tewthha wpwlkhn apha mqbyl byshya ewbdha dthedy ed tslwthh mqbl la wmymry bpwlkhny mthenya la hya ary lh wamrw dyshral lknshtha awkkhw
Indeed, on her children I will have no mercy, for they are children of unfaithfulness.

דלמא אסלק שכנתי מנה ואעדי יקרה ואשוינה רטישא כיומיא קדמאי עד לא אתקריבת לפולחני ויחול רוגזי עלה כמא דחל על עם דרא דעברו על אוריתי במדברא ואשוי ארעא צדיא ואקטלינה בבצורתא:
bbtswrtha waqTlynh tsdya area washwy bmdbra awrythy el debrw dra em el dkhl kma elh rwgzy wykhwl lpwlkhny athqrybth la ed qdmay kywmya rTysha washwynh yqrh waedy mnh shknthy aslq dlma
For their mother has played the prostitute. She who conceived them has done shamefully; for she said, ‘I will go after my lovers, who give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.’

וית בנהא לא ארחם ארי בנין דטען אינון:
aynwn dTen bnyn ary arkhm la bnha wyth
Therefore behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, that she can’t find her way.

ארי טעת כנישתהון בתר נביי שקרא בהיתו מלפיהון ארי אמרה אהך בתר עממיא רחמי מספקי מיכלי ומשתי כסות מילא ובוץ משח כל פרנוסי:
prnwsy kl mshkh wbwts myla kswth wmshthy mykly mspqy rkhmy emmya bthr ahk amrh ary mlpyhwn bhythw shqra nbyy bthr knyshthhwn Teth ary
She will follow after her lovers, but she won’t overtake them; and she will seek them, but won’t find them. Then she will say, ‘I will go and return to my first husband, for then it was better with me than now.’

בכן הא אנא מקלקל ית אורחתיך כמא דסיגין בכוביא ואפסוק כמא דמפסקין בכתליא ושבילהא לא תשכח:
thshkkh la wshbylha bkthlya dmpsqyn kma wapswq bkwbya dsygyn kma awrkhthyk yth mqlql ana ha bkn
For she didn’t know that I gave her the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied to her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.

ותרדף שלם עם עממיא רחמהא ולא תדבק יתהון ותבעי סעיד ולא תשכח ותימר אהך ואתוב לפולחן רבוני קדמאה ארי טב לי כד הויתי פלחא קדמוהי מכען לא אפלח לטעותא:
lTewtha aplkh la mken qdmwhy plkha hwythy kd ly Tb ary qdmah rbwny lpwlkhn wathwb ahk wthymr thshkkh wla seyd wthbey ythhwn thdbq wla rkhmha emmya em shlm wthrdp
Therefore I will take back my grain in its time, and my new wine in its season, and will pluck away my wool and my flax which should have covered her nakedness.

ואינון לא ידעין ארי אנא ברכית להון עבורא וחמרא ומשחא וכספא אסגיתי להון ודהבא מניה עבדו לטעותא:
lTewtha ebdw mnyh wdhba lhwn asgythy wkspa wmshkha wkhmra ebwra lhwn brkyth ana ary ydeyn la waynwn
Now I will uncover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and no one will deliver her out of my hand.

בכן יתוב מימרי למטל עבורא בעדן אידריה וחמרא בעדן מעצרתיה ואציל כסות מילא ובוץ דיהבית לה לכסאה ית קלנה:
qlnh yth lksah lh dyhbyth wbwts myla kswth watsyl metsrthyh bedn wkhmra aydryh bedn ebwra lmTl mymry ythwb bkn
I will also cause all her celebrations to cease: her feasts, her new moons, her Sabbaths, and all her solemn assemblies.

וכען אגלי ית קלנה לעיני עממיא רחמהא ואנש לא ישיזבינה מן ידי:
ydy mn yshyzbynh la wansh rkhmha emmya leyny qlnh yth agly wken
I will lay waste her vines and her fig trees, about which she has said, ‘These are my wages that my lovers have given me,’ and I will make them a forest, and the animals of the field shall eat them.

ואבטל כל חדותהא חגהא ירחהא ושבתהא וכל מועדהא:
mwedha wkl wshbthha yrkhha khgha khdwthha kl wabTl
I will visit on her the days of the Baals, to which she burned incense when she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and went after her lovers and forgot me,” says Yahweh.

ואצדי פרי גופנה ותינה דהות אמרה יקר אינון לי דיהבו לי עממיא רחמי ואשוינון לחורשא ותכלינון חית ברא:
bra khyth wthklynwn lkhwrsha washwynwn rkhmy emmya ly dyhbw ly aynwn yqr amrh dhwth wthynh gwpnh pry watsdy
“Therefore behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.

ואסער עלה ית יומיא דהות פלחא לטעותא דמסקא להון בוסמין והות דמיא לאתתא דשבקת ית בעלה ואתקינת בקדשהא ובחליטת מרגליתהא וטעית בתר רחמהא כן כנישת ישראל רחימת למפלח לטעותא ופולחני שבקת אמר יי:
yy amr shbqth wpwlkhny lTewtha lmplkh rkhymth yshral knyshth kn rkhmha bthr wTeyth mrglythha wbkhlyTth bqdshha wathqynth belh yth dshbqth laththa dmya whwth bwsmyn lhwn dmsqa lTewtha plkha dhwth ywmya yth elh waser
I will give her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope; and she will respond there as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

בכן הא אנא משעבד לה לאוריתא ואעבד לה נסין וגבורן כמא דעבדית לה במדברא וביד עבדי נבייא אמליל תנחומין על לבהא:
lbha el thnkhwmyn amlyl nbyya ebdy wbyd bmdbra lh debdyth kma wgbwrn nsyn lh waebd lawrytha lh mshebd ana ha bkn
It will be in that day,” says Yahweh, “that you will call me ‘my husband,’ and no longer call me ‘my master.’

ואמני לה ית פרנסהא מתמן וית מישר עכור לתחמודי נפש ויתנהון תמן למימרי כיומי קדם ואף אנא אעביד להון נסין וגבורן כיום מסקהון מארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym marea msqhwn kywm wgbwrn nsyn lhwn aebyd ana wap qdm kywmy lmymry thmn wythnhwn npsh lthkhmwdy ekwr myshr wyth mthmn prnsha yth lh wamny
For I will take away the names of the Baals out of her mouth, and they will no longer be mentioned by name.

ויהי בעדנא ההיא אמר יי תתנהון לפולחני ולא תפלחון עוד לטעות עממיא:
emmya lTewth ewd thplkhwn wla lpwlkhny ththnhwn yy amr hhya bedna wyhy
In that day I will make a covenant for them with the animals of the field, and with the birds of the sky, and with the creeping things of the ground. I will break the bow, the sword, and the battle out of the land, and will make them lie down safely.
19
ואעדי ית שום טעות עממיא מפומהון ולא יהי דכרן שומהון עוד:
ewd shwmhwn dkrn yhy wla mpwmhwn emmya Tewth shwm yth waedy
I will betroth you to me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness, in justice, in loving kindness, and in compassion.

ואגזר להון קים בעדנא ההיא דיהון שלם עם חית ברא ועם עופא דשמיא ורחשא דארעא וקשתא וחרבא ועבדי קרבא אבטיל מן ארעא ואשרינון לרוחצן:
lrwkhtsn washrynwn area mn abTyl qrba webdy wkhrba wqshtha darea wrkhsha dshmya ewpa wem bra khyth em shlm dyhwn hhya bedna qym lhwn wagzr
I will even betroth you to me in faithfulness; and you shall know Yahweh.

ואקימנכון קדמי לעלם ואקימנכון קדמי בקושטא ובדינא ובחסדא וברחמי:
wbrkhmy wbkhsda wbdyna bqwshTa qdmy waqymnkwn lelm qdmy waqymnkwn
It will happen in that day, that I will respond,” says Yahweh. “I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth;

ואקימנכון קדמי בהימנותא ותידעון למדחל מן קדם יי:
yy qdm mn lmdkhl wthydewn bhymnwtha qdmy waqymnkwn
and the earth will respond to the grain, and the new wine, and the oil; and they will respond to Jezreel.
23
ויהי בעדנא ההיא אקביל צלותכון אמר יי אפקיד ית שמיא ואינון יחתון מטרא על ארעא:
area el mTra ykhthwn waynwn shmya yth apqyd yy amr tslwthkwn aqbyl hhya bedna wyhy
I will sow her to me in the earth; and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; and I will tell those who were not my people, ‘You are my people;’ and they will say, ‘You are My God!’”

וארעא תרבי עבורא וחמרא ומשחא ואינון יספקון לגלות עמי:
