גפן בזיזא ישראל דהוה גפן נציב במעבדיה אוריתא פרי עובדיהון גרמון להון דיגלון כד אסגיתי להון עללא אסגיאו פולחן לאגוריהון כד איתיתי טובא לארעהון אוטיבו לקמתהון:
lqmthhwn awTybw larehwn Twba aythythy kd lagwryhwn pwlkhn asgyaw ella lhwn asgythy kd dyglwn lhwn grmwn ewbdyhwn pry awrytha bmebdyh ntsyb gpn dhwh yshral bzyza gpn
Israel is a luxuriant vine that produces his fruit. According to the abundance of his fruit he has multiplied his altars. As their land has prospered, they have adorned their sacred stones.

אתפלג לבהון מן אוריתא כען יחובון כען איתי עליהון סנאה יחזר קדלהון דאגוריהון יבוז קמתהון:
qmthhwn ybwz dagwryhwn qdlhwn ykhzr snah elyhwn aythy ken ykhwbwn ken awrytha mn lbhwn athplg
Their heart is divided. Now they will be found guilty. He will demolish their altars. He will destroy their sacred stones.

ארי כען יימרון לית מלכא לנא ארי לא דחילנא מן קדם יי ומלכא מה יעביד לנא:
lna yebyd mh wmlka yy qdm mn dkhylna la ary lna mlka lyth yymrwn ken ary
Surely now they will say, “We have no king; for we don’t fear Yahweh; and the king, what can he do for us?”

ממללין מלין דאונס יימן לשקר ללמא גזרין קים כען איתי עליהון כרישי חוין בישין דין שקריהון על תחומי חקלן:
khqln thkhwmy el shqryhwn dyn byshyn khwyn kryshy elyhwn aythy ken qym gzryn llma lshqr yymn dawns mlyn mmllyn
They make promises, swearing falsely in making covenants. Therefore judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field.

על די פלחו לעגליא בבית אל מלך במשריתיה יסק עליהון ויגלי יתהון יסבון מנהון עגלא דשמרון ארי אתאבלו עלוהי עמיה ופלחוהי עלוהי יבועון על יקריה ארי גלא מניה:
mnyh gla ary yqryh el ybwewn elwhy wplkhwhy emyh elwhy athablw ary dshmrwn egla mnhwn ysbwn ythhwn wygly elyhwn ysq bmshrythyh mlk al bbyth leglya plkhw dy el
The inhabitants of Samaria will be in terror for the calves of Beth Aven, for its people will mourn over it, along with its priests who rejoiced over it, for its glory, because it has departed from it.

אף יתיה לאתור יובלון קורבנא למלכא דייתי לאתפרעא להון נביא אמר להון בהתא דבית אפרים יקבלון ויבהתון דבית ישראל ממלכי עצתהון:
etsthhwn mmlky yshral dbyth wybhthwn yqblwn aprym dbyth bhtha lhwn amr nbya lhwn lathprea dyythy lmlka qwrbna ywblwn lathwr ythyh ap
It also will be carried to Assyria for a present to a great king. Ephraim will receive shame, and Israel will be ashamed of his own counsel.

בהתת שמרון במלכה כרותחא על אפי מיא:
mya apy el krwthkha bmlkh shmrwn bhthth
Samaria and her king float away like a twig on the water.

ויצדין במת בית אל חובי ישראל גרמו להון דיגלון כובין ואטדין יסקון על אגוריהון כען איתי עליהון עקא דמותא דיהון דמן כאילו טוריא חפן להון ורמתא נפלו עליהון:
elyhwn nplw wrmtha lhwn khpn Twrya kaylw dmn dyhwn dmwtha eqa elyhwn aythy ken agwryhwn el ysqwn waTdyn kwbyn dyglwn lhwn grmw yshral khwby al byth bmth wytsdyn
The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed. The thorn and the thistle will come up on their altars. They will tell the mountains, “Cover us!” and the hills, “Fall on us!”

מיומי גבעתא חטיתון בית ישראל תמן קמו מרדו במימרי למנאה עליהון מלכא ואף לא זכיאו דתתקים להון מלכותא בגבעתא תמן אתו עליהון עבדי קרבא לקטלא אבהן עם בנין סליקו:
slyqw bnyn em abhn lqTla qrba ebdy elyhwn athw thmn bgbetha mlkwtha lhwn dththqym zkyaw la wap mlka elyhwn lmnah bmymry mrdw qmw thmn yshral byth khTythwn gbetha mywmy
“Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they remained. The battle against the children of iniquity doesn’t overtake them in Gibeah.

במימרי איתיתי עליהון יסורין וכנשית עליהון עממיא ושליטו בהון כמיסר פדנא על תרתין עינוהי:
eynwhy thrthyn el pdna kmysr bhwn wshlyTw emmya elyhwn wknshyth yswryn elyhwn aythythy bmymry
When it is my desire, I will chastise them; and the nations will be gathered against them when they are bound to their two transgressions.

כנשתא דישראל דמיא לעגלתא דמלפין לה למירדי ולא אלפא רחמא להלכא ברעות נפשה ואנא פרקית יתהון משעבוד מצרים אעדיתי ניר תקוף מצוריהון אשריתי בית ישראל על תקוף ארעא דאמוראה כבישין קדמיהון דבית יהודה אחסנית יתהון אחסנתא דקימית לאבוהון יעקב:
yeqb labwhwn dqymyth akhsntha ythhwn akhsnyth yhwdh dbyth qdmyhwn kbyshyn damwrah area thqwp el yshral byth ashrythy mtswryhwn thqwp nyr aedythy mtsrym mshebwd ythhwn prqyth wana npshh brewth lhlka rkhma alpa wla lmyrdy lh dmlpyn legltha dmya dyshral knshtha
Ephraim is a trained heifer that loves to thresh, so I will put a yoke on her beautiful neck. I will set a rider on Ephraim. Judah will plow. Jacob will break his clods.

בית ישראל עבידו לכון עובדין טבין הליכו באורחא דקושטא קיימו לכון אולפן אוריתא הא בכל עדן נבייא אמרין לכון תבו לדחלתא דיי כען יתגלי וייתי זכון לכון:
lkwn zkwn wyythy ythgly ken dyy ldkhltha thbw lkwn amryn nbyya edn bkl ha awrytha awlpn lkwn qyymw dqwshTa bawrkha hlykw Tbyn ewbdyn lkwn ebydw yshral byth
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap according to kindness. Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek Yahweh, until he comes and rains righteousness on you.

אתעשתתון לכון אונס רשע עבדתון אתקבלתון תושלמת עובדיכון ארי אתרחצתא באורחתך בסגי גברך:
gbrk bsgy bawrkhthk athrkhtstha ary ewbdykwn thwshlmth athqblthwn ebdthwn rshe awns lkwn atheshththwn
You have plowed wickedness. You have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, for you trusted in your way, in the multitude of your mighty men.

ויקום אתרגושא בעמך וכל כרכך יתבזזון כבזת שלמא ככמנא ביומא דקרבא אם על בנין קטילת:
qTylth bnyn el am dqrba bywma kkmna shlma kbzth ythbzzwn krkk wkl bemk athrgwsha wyqwm
Therefore a battle roar will arise among your people, and all your fortresses will be destroyed, as Shalman destroyed Beth Arbel in the day of battle. The mother was dashed in pieces with her children.
