ܪܝܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܟܠܗܝܢ ܐܝܬ ܠܢ ܪܒ ܟܘܡܪܐ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܝܬܒ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܕܟܘܪܣܝܐ ܕܪܒܘܬܐ ܒܫܡܝܐ
bshmy' drbwth' dkwrsy' ymyn' mn dythb 'yn' kwmr' rb ln 'yth dklhyn dyn rysh'
Now in the things which we are saying, the main point is this. We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

ܘܗܘܐ ܡܫܡܫܢܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܩܘܕܫܐ ܘܕܡܫܟܢܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ ܗܘ ܕܩܒܥ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܠܐ ܒܪܢܫܐ
brnsh' wl' 'lh' dqbe hw dshrr' wdmshkn' qwdsh' dbyth mshmshn' whw'
a servant of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.

ܟܠ ܪܒ ܟܘܡܪܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܩܐܡ ܕܢܩܪܒ ܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܘܕܒܚܐ ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܙܕܩܐ ܗܘܬ ܐܦ ܠܗܢܐ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܡܕܡ ܕܢܩܪܒ
dnqrb mdm lh 'yth dnhw' lhn' 'p hwth zdq' hn' mTl wdbkh' qwrbn' dnqrb dq'm gyr kwmr' rb kl
For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this high priest also have something to offer.

ܘܐܠܘ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܗܘܐ ܐܦܠܐ ܟܘܡܪܐ ܗܘܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܗܘܘ ܟܘܡܪܐ ܕܡܩܪܒܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܒܢܡܘܣܐ
dbnmws' 'yk qwrbn' hww dmqrbyn kwmr' hww d'ythyhwn mTl hw' hw' kwmr' 'pl' hw' b're' w'lw
For if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, seeing there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law;

ܗܢܘܢ ܕܡܫܡܫܝܢ ܠܕܡܘܬܐ ܘܠܛܠܢܝܬܐ ܕܗܠܝܢ ܕܒܫܡܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܐܬܐܡܪ ܠܡܘܫܐ ܟܕ ܥܒܕ ܗܘܐ ܡܫܟܢܐ ܕܚܙܝ ܘܥܒܕ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܒܕܡܘܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܐܬܚܙܝܬ ܠܟ ܒܛܘܪܐ
bTwr' lk d'thkhzyth hy bdmwth' klmdm webd dkhzy mshkn' hw' ebd kd lmwsh' d'th'mr 'yk dbshmy' dhlyn wlTlnyth' ldmwth' dmshmshyn hnwn
who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses was warned by God when he was about to make the tabernacle, for he said, “See, you shall make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain.”

ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܬܫܡܫܬܐ ܕܡܝܬܪܐ ܡܢ ܗܝ ܩܒܠ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܟܡܐ ܕܡܝܬܪܐ ܐܦ ܕܝܬܝܩܐ ܗܝ ܕܥܒܝܕ ܒܗ ܡܨܥܝܐ ܘܒܫܘܘܕܝܐ ܕܡܝܬܪܝܢ ܡܢ ܕܗܝ ܐܬܝܗܒܬ
'thyhbth dhy mn dmythryn wbshwwdy' mtsey' bh debyd hy dythyq' 'p dmythr' 'km' mshykh' yshwe qbl hy mn dmythr' thshmshth' dyn hsh'
But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which on better promises has been given as law.

ܐܠܘ ܓܝܪ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܗܘܬ ܩܕܡܝܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܪܫܝܢ ܠܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܐܬܪܐ ܠܗܕܐ ܕܬܪܬܝܢ
dthrthyn lhd' 'thr' hw' lyth rshyn dl' qdmyth' hwth 'ythyh gyr 'lw
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.

ܪܫܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܘܐܡܪ ܕܗܐ ܝܘܡܬܐ ܐܬܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܓܡܘܪ ܥܠ ܒܝܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܥܠ ܒܝܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܕܝܬܩܐ ܚܕܬܐ
khdth' dythq' yhwd' dbyth byth' wel 'ysryl dbyth byth' el w'gmwr mry' 'mr 'thyn ywmth' dh' w'mr gyr lhwn rsh'
For finding fault with them, he said, “Behold, the days come”, says the Lord, “that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;

ܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܗܝ ܕܝܬܩܐ ܕܝܗܒܬ ܠܐܒܗܝܗܘܢ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܐܚܕܬ ܒܐܝܕܗܘܢ ܘܐܦܩܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܗܢܘܢ ܠܐ ܩܘܝܘ ܒܕܝܬܩܐ ܕܝܠܝ ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܒܣܝܬ ܒܗܘܢ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'mr bhwn bsyth 'n' 'p dyly bdythq' qwyw l' dhnwn mTl dmtsryn 're' mn 'nwn w'pqth b'ydhwn d'khdth bywm' l'bhyhwn dyhbth dythq' hy 'yk l'
not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for they didn’t continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them,” says the Lord.

ܗܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܝܬܩܐ ܕܐܬܠ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܒܬܪ ܝܘܡܬܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܐܡܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܬܠܝܘܗܝ ܠܢܡܘܣܝ ܒܡܕܥܝܗܘܢ ܘܥܠ ܠܒܘܬܗܘܢ ܐܟܬܒܝܘܗܝ ܘܐܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܗܢܘܢ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܝ ܥܡܐ
em' ly nhwwn whnwn 'lh' 'n' lhwn w'hw' 'kthbywhy lbwthhwn wel bmdeyhwn lnmwsy 'thlywhy mry' 'mr hnwn ywmth' bthr 'ysryl dbyth lbyth' d'thl dythq' dyn hd'
“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. After those days,” says the Lord; “I will put my laws into their mind, I will also write them on their heart. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

ܘܠܐ ܢܠܦ ܐܢܫ ܠܒܪ ܡܕܝܢܬܗ ܐܦܠܐ ܠܐܚܘܗܝ ܘܢܐܡܪ ܕܕܥ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܢܕܥܘܢܢܝ ܡܢ ܙܥܘܪܗܘܢ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܩܫܝܫܗܘܢ
lqshyshhwn wedm' zewrhwn mn ndewnny dklhwn mTl lmry' dde wn'mr l'khwhy 'pl' mdynthh lbr 'nsh nlp wl'
They will not teach every man his fellow citizen, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all will know me, from their least to their greatest.

ܘܐܚܣܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܥܘܠܗܘܢ ܘܚܛܗܝܗܘܢ ܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܐܬܕܟܪ ܠܗܘܢ
lhwn 'thdkr l' thwb wkhThyhwn ewlhwn mn 'nwn w'khs'
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more.”

ܒܗܝ ܕܐܡܪ ܚܕܬܐ ܠܩܕܡܝܬܐ ܐܥܬܩܗ ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܥܬܩ ܘܣܐܒ ܩܪܝܒ ܗܘ ܠܚܒܠܐ
lkhbl' hw qryb ws'b dethq w'yn' 'ethqh lqdmyth' khdth' d'mr bhy
In that he says, “A new covenant”, he has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and grows aged is near to vanishing away.
