ܡܟܝܠ ܐܚܝ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܐܬܩܪܝܬܘܢ ܒܩܪܝܢܐ ܕܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܚܙܐܘܗܝ ܠܗܢܐ ܫܠܝܚܐ ܘܪܒ ܟܘܡܪܐ ܕܬܘܕܝܬܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe dthwdythn kwmr' wrb shlykh' lhn' khz'why shmy' dmn bqryn' d'thqrythwn qdysh' 'khy mkyl
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus;

ܕܡܗܝܡܢ ܠܡܢ ܕܥܒܕܗ ܐܝܟ ܡܘܫܐ ܒܟܠܗ ܒܝܬܗ
bythh bklh mwsh' 'yk debdh lmn dmhymn
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.

ܣܓܝܐܐ ܗܝ ܓܝܪ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ ܕܗܢܐ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܕܡܘܫܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܣܓܝ ܐܝܩܪܐ ܕܒܢܝܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܒܢܝܢܗ
bnynh mn Tb dbyth' dbnyh 'yqr' dsgy 'ykn' dmwsh' mn Tb dhn' thshbwkhthh gyr hy sgy''
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.

ܟܠ ܒܝܬܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܢ ܐܢܫ ܗܘ ܡܬܒܢܐ ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܒܢܐ ܟܠ ܐܠܗܐ ܗܘ
hw 'lh' kl dbn' dyn hw mthbn' hw 'nsh mn gyr byth' kl
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.

ܘܡܘܫܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܐ ܐܬܗܝܡܢ ܒܒܝܬܐ ܟܠܗ ܠܣܗܕܘܬܐ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܥܬܝܕܢ ܗܘܝ ܠܡܬܡܠܠܘ ܒܐܝܕܗ
b'ydh lmthmllw hwy dethydn d'ylyn lshdwth' klh bbyth' 'thhymn ebd' 'yk wmwsh'
Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,

ܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܒܪܐ ܥܠ ܒܝܬܗ ܘܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܒܝܬܗ ܚܢܢ ܐܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܚܪܬܐ ܢܐܚܘܕ ܓܠܝܘܬ ܐܦܐ ܘܫܘܒܗܪܐ ܕܣܒܪܗ
dsbrh wshwbhr' 'p' glywth n'khwd lkhrth' edm' 'n khnn bythh w'ythwhy bythh el br' 'yk dyn mshykh'
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

ܡܛܠ ܕܐܡܪܬ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܕܝܘܡܢܐ ܐܢ ܒܩܠܗ ܬܫܡܥܘܢ
thshmewn bqlh 'n dywmn' dqwdsh' rwkh' d'mrth mTl
Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says,
“Today if you will hear his voice,

ܠܐ ܬܩܫܘܢ ܠܒܘܬܟܘܢ ܠܡܪܓܙܘܬܗ ܐܝܟ ܡܡܪܡܪܢܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܝܘܡܐ ܕܢܣܝܘܢܐ ܕܒܡܕܒܪܐ
dbmdbr' dnsywn' ywm' w'yk mmrmrn' 'yk lmrgzwthh lbwthkwn thqshwn l'
don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion,
like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,

ܕܢܣܝܘܢܝ ܐܒܗܝܟܘܢ ܘܒܩܘ ܚܙܘ ܥܒܕܝ ܐܪܒܥܝܢ ܫܢܝܢ
shnyn 'rbeyn ebdy khzw wbqw 'bhykwn dnsywny
where your fathers tested me by proving me,
and saw my deeds for forty years.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܡܐܢܬ ܠܝ ܒܕܪܐ ܗܘ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܕܥܡܐ ܗܘ ܕܛܥܐ ܠܒܗܘܢ ܘܗܢܘܢ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܘ ܐܘܪܚܬܝ
'wrkhthy ydew l' whnwn lbhwn dTe' hw dem' w'mrth hw bdr' ly m'nth hn' mTl
Therefore I was displeased with that generation,
and said, ‘They always err in their heart,
but they didn’t know my ways;’

ܘܐܝܟ ܕܝܡܝܬ ܒܪܘܓܙܝ ܕܠܐ ܢܥܠܘܢ ܠܢܝܚܬܝ
lnykhthy nelwn dl' brwgzy dymyth w'yk
as I swore in my wrath,
‘They will not enter into my rest.’”

ܐܙܕܗܪܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܐܚܝ ܕܠܡܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܐܢܫ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܠܒܐ ܒܝܫܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܗܝܡܢ ܘܬܦܪܩܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܝܐ
khy' 'lh' mn wthprqwn mhymn dl' bysh' lb' mnkwn b'nsh nhw' dlm' 'khy hkyl 'zdhrw
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;

ܐܠܐ ܒܥܘ ܡܢ ܢܦܫܟܘܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܝܘܡܬܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܘܡܐ ܕܡܬܩܪܐ ܝܘܡܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܢܬܩܫܐ ܐܢܫ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܒܛܥܝܘܬܐ ܕܚܛܝܬܐ
dkhTyth' bTeywth' mnkwn 'nsh nthqsh' dl' ywmn' dmthqr' lywm' edm' ywmth' klhwn npshkwn mn bew 'l'
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

ܐܬܚܠܛܢ ܓܝܪ ܥܡ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܢ ܡܢ ܪܝܫܝܬܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܐܚܪܝܬܐ ܒܗ ܒܩܝܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܫܪܝܪܐ ܢܚܡܣܢ
nkhmsn shryr' hn' bqym' bh l'khryth' wedm' ryshyth' mn 'n mshykh' em gyr 'thkhlTn
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:

ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܡܝܪ ܕܝܘܡܢܐ ܐܢ ܒܪܬ ܩܠܗ ܬܫܡܥܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܩܫܘܢ ܠܒܘܬܟܘܢ ܠܡܪܓܙܘܬܗ
lmrgzwthh lbwthkwn thqshwn l' thshmewn qlh brth 'n dywmn' d'myr 'ykn'
while it is said,
“Today if you will hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”

ܡܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܫܡܥܘ ܘܐܪܓܙܘܗܝ ܠܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܢܦܩܘ ܡܢ ܡܨܪܝܢ ܒܝܕ ܡܘܫܐ
mwsh' byd mtsryn mn dnpqw hlyn klhwn l' w'rgzwhy dshmew hnwn gyr 'nwn mn
For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, didn’t all those who came out of Egypt by Moses?

ܘܒܐܝܠܝܢ ܡܐܢܬ ܠܗ ܐܪܒܥܝܢ ܫܢܝܢ ܐܠܐ ܒܗܢܘܢ ܕܚܛܘ ܘܓܪܡܝܗܘܢ ܢܦܠܘ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ
bmdbr' nplw wgrmyhwn dkhTw bhnwn 'l' shnyn 'rbeyn lh m'nth wb'ylyn
With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

ܘܥܠ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܝܡܐ ܕܠܐ ܢܥܠܘܢ ܠܢܝܚܬܗ ܐܠܐ ܥܠ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܐܬܛܦܝܣܘ
'thTpysw dl' hnwn el 'l' lnykhthh nelwn dl' ym' 'ylyn wel
To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
