ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܚܝܒܝܢܢ ܕܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܢܗܘܐ ܙܗܝܪܝܢ ܒܡܕܡ ܕܫܡܥܢ ܕܠܐ ܢܦܠ
npl dl' dshmen bmdm zhyryn nhw' dythyr'yth khybynn hn' mTl
Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.

ܐܢ ܓܝܪ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܐܬܡܠܠܬ ܒܝܕ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܐܫܬܪܪܬ ܘܟܠ ܕܫܡܥܗ ܘܥܒܪ ܥܠܝܗ ܩܒܠ ܦܘܪܥܢܐ ܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ
bk'nwth' pwren' qbl elyh webr dshmeh wkl 'shthrrth ml'k' byd d'thmllth mlth' gyr 'n
For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense;

ܐܝܟܢܐ ܚܢܢ ܢܥܪܘܩ ܐܢ ܢܒܣܐ ܥܠ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܗܢܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܚܝܝܢ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܫܪܝܘ ܡܢ ܡܪܢ ܠܡܬܡܠܠܘ ܘܡܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܢܗ ܫܡܥܘ ܒܢ ܐܫܬܪܪܘ
'shthrrw bn shmew dmnh 'ylyn wmn lmthmllw mrn mn dshryw hnwn khyyn 'nwn dhnwn 'ylyn el nbs' 'n nerwq khnn 'ykn'
how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation—which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard;

ܟܕ ܣܗܕ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܒܐܬܘܬܐ ܘܒܬܕܡܪܬܐ ܘܒܚܝܠܐ ܡܫܚܠܦܐ ܘܒܦܘܠܓܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܕܐܬܝܗܒܘ ܐܝܟ ܨܒܝܢܗ
tsbynh 'yk d'thyhbw dqwdsh' drwkh' wbpwlg' mshkhlp' wbkhyl' wbthdmrth' b'thwth' 'lh' elyhwn shd kd
God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܠܡܠܐܟܐ ܫܥܒܕ ܥܠܡܐ ܕܥܬܝܕ ܕܥܠܘܗܝ ܡܡܠܠܝܢܢ
mmllynn delwhy dethyd elm' shebd lml'k' gyr hw' l'
For he didn’t subject the world to come, of which we speak, to angels.

ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܣܗܕ ܟܬܒܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܡܢܘ ܓܒܪܐ ܕܥܗܕܬܝܗܝ ܘܒܪܗ ܕܐܢܫܐ ܕܣܥܪܬܝܗܝ
dserthyhy d'nsh' wbrh dehdthyhy gbr' mnw w'mr kthb' dmshd 'yk 'l'
But one has somewhere testified, saying, “What is man, that you think of him? Or the son of man, that you care for him?

ܐܡܟܬܝܗܝ ܩܠܝܠ ܡܢ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܣܡܬ ܒܪܝܫܗ ܘܐܫܠܛܬܝܗܝ ܒܥܒܕܐ ܕܐܝܕܝܟ
d'ydyk bebd' w'shlTthyhy bryshh smth w'yqr' thshbwkhth' ml'k' mn qlyl 'mkthyhy
You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor.

ܘܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܫܥܒܕܬ ܬܚܝܬ ܪܓܠܘܗܝ ܒܗܝ ܕܝܢ ܕܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܫܥܒܕ ܠܗ ܠܐ ܫܒܩ ܡܕܡ ܕܠܐ ܡܫܥܒܕ ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܠܐ ܥܕܟܝܠ ܚܙܝܢܢ ܕܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܡܫܥܒܕ ܠܗ
lh mshebd mdm dkl khzynn edkyl l' dyn hsh' mshebd dl' mdm shbq l' lh shebd mdm dkl dyn bhy rglwhy thkhyth shebdth mdm wkl
You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t see all things subjected to him, yet.

ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܟ ܩܠܝܠ ܡܢ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܚܙܝܢܢ ܕܗܘܝܘ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܛܠ ܚܫܐ ܕܡܘܬܗ ܘܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܣܝܡ ܒܪܝܫܗ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܠܦ ܟܠܢܫ ܛܥܡ ܡܘܬܐ
mwth' Tem klnsh khlp 'lh' bTybwthh gyr hw bryshh sym w'yqr' wthshbwkhth' dmwthh khsh' mTl yshwe dhwyw khzynn ml'k' mn qlyl dmk dyn hw
But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.

ܝܐܐ ܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܠܗܘ ܕܟܠ ܒܐܝܕܗ ܘܟܠ ܡܛܠܬܗ ܘܒܢܝܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܐܥܠ ܠܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܕܠܪܝܫܐ ܕܚܝܝܗܘܢ ܒܚܫܗ ܢܓܡܪܝܘܗܝ
ngmrywhy bkhshh dkhyyhwn dlrysh' lthshbwkhth' 'el sgy'' wbny' mTlthh wkl b'ydh dkl lhw gyr hw' y''
For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܕܩܕܫ ܘܗܢܘܢ ܕܐܬܩܕܫܘ ܡܢ ܚܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܒܗܬ ܕܢܩܪܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܚܘܗܝ
'khwhy 'nwn dnqr' bhth l' hn' mTl klhwn 'nwn khd mn d'thqdshw whnwn dqdsh gyr hw
For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers,

ܟܕ ܐܡܪ ܐܣܒܪ ܫܡܟ ܠܐܚܝ ܘܒܓܘܗ ܕܥܕܬܐ ܐܫܒܚܟ
'shbkhk dedth' wbgwh l'khy shmk 'sbr 'mr kd
saying, “I will declare your name to my brothers. Among of the congregation I will sing your praise.”

ܘܬܘܒ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܗܘܐ ܬܟܝܠ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܘܬܘܒ ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܘܒܢܝܐ ܕܝܗܒ ܠܝ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' ly dyhb wbny' 'n' h' wthwb elwhy thkyl 'hw' d'n' wthwb
Again, “I will put my trust in him.” Again, “Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me.”

ܡܛܠ ܓܝܪ ܕܒܢܝܐ ܐܫܬܘܬܦܘ ܒܒܣܪܐ ܘܕܡܐ ܐܦ ܗܘ ܒܗ ܒܕܡܘܬܐ ܐܫܬܘܬܦ ܒܗܝܢ ܒܗܠܝܢ ܕܒܡܘܬܗ ܢܒܛܠ ܠܡܢ ܕܐܚܝܕ ܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܣܛܢܐ
sTn' d'ythwhy dmwth' shwlTn' d'khyd lmn nbTl dbmwthh bhlyn bhyn 'shthwthp bdmwth' bh hw 'p wdm' bbsr' 'shthwthpw dbny' gyr mTl
Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in the same way partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

ܘܢܫܪܐ ܠܗܢܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܕܚܠܬܐ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܒܟܠܗܘܢ ܚܝܝܗܘܢ ܡܫܥܒܕܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܥܒܕܘܬܐ
lebdwth' hww mshebdyn khyyhwn bklhwn dmwth' dbdkhlth' 'ylyn lhnwn wnshr'
and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܥܠ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܡܫܠܛ ܗܘܐ ܡܘܬܐ ܐܠܐ ܥܠ ܙܪܥܗ ܕܐܒܪܗܡ ܡܫܠܛ ܗܘܐ
hw' mshlT d'brhm zreh el 'l' mwth' hw' mshlT ml'k' el gyr hw' l'
For most certainly, he doesn’t give help to angels, but he gives help to the offspring of Abraham.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܙܕܩ ܗܘܐ ܕܒܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܢܬܕܡܐ ܠܐܚܘܗܝ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܡܪܚܡܢܐ ܘܪܒ ܟܘܡܪܐ ܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܒܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܡܚܣܐ ܥܠ ܚܛܗܘܗܝ ܕܥܡܐ
dem' khThwhy el mkhs' wnhw' bd'lh' mhymn' kwmr' wrb mrkhmn' dnhw' l'khwhy nthdm' mdm dbkl hw' zdq hn' mTl
Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

ܒܗܝ ܓܝܪ ܕܗܘ ܚܫ ܘܐܬܢܣܝ ܡܫܟܚ ܕܢܥܕܪ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܬܢܣܝܢ
dmthnsyn l'ylyn dnedr mshkkh w'thnsy khsh dhw gyr bhy
For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.
