ודכיר יי ית נח וית כל חיתא וית כל בעירא די עמיה בתבותא ואעבר יי רוחא על ארעא ונחו מיא:
wdkyr yy yth nkh wyth kl khytha wyth kl beyra dy emyh bthbwtha waebr yy rwkha el area wnkhw mya
God remembered Noah, all the animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the ship; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.

ואסתכרו מבועי תהומא וכוי שמיא ואתכלי מטרא מן שמיא:
wasthkrw mbwey thhwma wkwy shmya wathkly mTra mn shmya
The deep’s fountains and the sky’s windows were also stopped, and the rain from the sky was restrained.

ותבו מיא מעל ארעא אזלין ותיבין וחסרו מיא מסוף מאה וחמשין יומין:
wthbw mya mel area azlyn wthybyn wkhsrw mya mswp mah wkhmshyn ywmyn
The waters continually receded from the earth. After the end of one hundred fifty days the waters receded.

ונחת תבותא בירחא שביעאה בשבעת עשר יומא לירחא על טורי קרדו:
wnkhth thbwtha byrkha shbyeah bshbeth eshr ywma lyrkha el Twry qrdw
The ship rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on Ararat’s mountains.

ומיא הוו אזלין וחסרין עד ירחא עשיראה בעשיראה בחד לירחא אתחזיאו רישי טוריא:
wmya hww azlyn wkhsryn ed yrkha eshyrah beshyrah bkhd lyrkha athkhzyaw ryshy Twrya
The waters receded continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were visible.

והוה מסוף ארבעין יומין ופתח נח ית כות תבותא די עבד:
whwh mswp arbeyn ywmyn wpthkh nkh yth kwth thbwtha dy ebd
At the end of forty days, Noah opened the window of the ship which he had made,

ושלח ית ערבא ונפק מפק ותיב עד דיבישו מיא מעל ארעא:
wshlkh yth erba wnpq mpq wthyb ed dybyshw mya mel area
and he sent out a raven. It went back and forth, until the waters were dried up from the earth.

ושלח ית יונה מלותיה למחזי הקליאו מיא מעל אפי ארעא:
wshlkh yth ywnh mlwthyh lmkhzy hqlyaw mya mel apy area
He himself sent out a dove to see if the waters were abated from the surface of the ground,

ולא אשכחת יונה מנח לפרסת רגלה ותבת לותיה לתבותא ארי מיא על אפי כל ארעא ואושיט ידיה ונסבה ואעיל יתה לותיה לתבותא:
wla ashkkhth ywnh mnkh lprsth rglh wthbth lwthyh lthbwtha ary mya el apy kl area wawshyT ydyh wnsbh waeyl ythh lwthyh lthbwtha
but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned into the ship to him, for the waters were on the surface of the whole earth. He put out his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ship.

ואוריך עוד שבעא יומין אחרנין ואוסיף שלח ית יונה מן תבותא:
wawryk ewd shbea ywmyn akhrnyn wawsyp shlkh yth ywnh mn thbwtha
He waited yet another seven days; and again he sent the dove out of the ship.

ואתת לותיה יונה לעדן רמשא והא טרף זיתא תביר נחית בפומה וידע נח ארי קליאו מיא מעל ארעא:
wathth lwthyh ywnh ledn rmsha wha Trp zytha thbyr nkhyth bpwmh wyde nkh ary qlyaw mya mel area
The dove came back to him at evening and, behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from the earth.

ואוריך עוד שבעה יומין אחרנין ושלח ית יונה ולא אוסיפת למתוב לותיה עוד:
wawryk ewd shbeh ywmyn akhrnyn wshlkh yth ywnh wla awsypth lmthwb lwthyh ewd
He waited yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; and she didn’t return to him any more.

והוה בשת מאה וחד שנין בקדמאה בחד לירחא נגובו מיא מעל ארעא ואעדי נח ית חופאה דתבותא וחזא והא נגובו אפי ארעא:
whwh bshth mah wkhd shnyn bqdmah bkhd lyrkha ngwbw mya mel area waedy nkh yth khwpah dthbwtha wkhza wha ngwbw apy area
In the six hundred first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ship, and looked. He saw that the surface of the ground was dry.

ובירחא תנינא בעשרין ושבעא יומא לירחא יבישת ארעא:
wbyrkha thnyna beshryn wshbea ywma lyrkha ybyshth area
In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.

פוק מן תבותא את ואתתך ובנך ונשי בנך עמך:
pwq mn thbwtha ath waththk wbnk wnshy bnk emk
“Go out of the ship, you, your wife, your sons, and your sons’ wives with you.
17
כל חיתא דעמך מכל בשרא בעופא ובבעירא ובכל רחשא דרחש על ארעא אפיק עמך ויתילדון בארעא ויפשון ויסגון על ארעא:
kl khytha demk mkl bshra bewpa wbbeyra wbkl rkhsha drkhsh el area apyq emk wythyldwn barea wypshwn wysgwn el area
Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh, including birds, livestock, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply on the earth.”

ונפק נח ובנוהי ואתתיה ונשי בנוהי עמיה:
wnpq nkh wbnwhy waththyh wnshy bnwhy emyh
Noah went out, with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives with him.
19
כל חיתא כל רחשא וכל עופא כל דרחש על ארעא לזרעיתהון נפקו מן תבותא:
kl khytha kl rkhsha wkl ewpa kl drkhsh el area lzreythhwn npqw mn thbwtha
Every animal, every creeping thing, and every bird, whatever moves on the earth, after their families, went out of the ship.

ובנא נח מדבחא קדם יי ונסיב מכל בעירא דכיא ומכל עופא דכי ואסיק עלון במדבחא:
wbna nkh mdbkha qdm yy wnsyb mkl beyra dkya wmkl ewpa dky wasyq elwn bmdbkha
Noah built an altar to Yahweh, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

וקביל יי ברעוא ית קורבניה ואמר יי במימריה לא אוסף למילט עוד ית ארעא בדיל חובי אנשא ארי יצרא לבא דאנשא ביש מזעיריה ולא אוסף עוד לממחי ית כל דחי כמא דעבדית:
wqbyl yy brewa yth qwrbnyh wamr yy bmymryh la awsp lmylT ewd yth area bdyl khwby ansha ary ytsra lba dansha bysh mzeyryh wla awsp ewd lmmkhy yth kl dkhy kma debdyth
Yahweh smelled the pleasant aroma. Yahweh said in his heart, “I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake because the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth. I will never again strike every living thing, as I have done.

עוד כל יומי ארעא זרועא וחצדא וקורא וחומא וקיטא וסתוא וימם וליליא לא יבטלון:
ewd kl ywmy area zrwea wkhtsda wqwra wkhwma wqyTa wsthwa wymm wlylya la ybTlwn
While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night will not cease.”
