ודכיר יי ית נח וית כל חיתא וית כל בעירא די עמיה בתבותא ואעבר יי רוחא על ארעא ונחו מיא:
mya wnkhw area el rwkha yy waebr bthbwtha emyh dy beyra kl wyth khytha kl wyth nkh yth yy wdkyr
God remembered Noah, all the animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the ship; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.

ואסתכרו מבועי תהומא וכוי שמיא ואתכלי מטרא מן שמיא:
shmya mn mTra wathkly shmya wkwy thhwma mbwey wasthkrw
The deep’s fountains and the sky’s windows were also stopped, and the rain from the sky was restrained.

ותבו מיא מעל ארעא אזלין ותיבין וחסרו מיא מסוף מאה וחמשין יומין:
ywmyn wkhmshyn mah mswp mya wkhsrw wthybyn azlyn area mel mya wthbw
The waters continually receded from the earth. After the end of one hundred fifty days the waters receded.

ונחת תבותא בירחא שביעאה בשבעת עשר יומא לירחא על טורי קרדו:
qrdw Twry el lyrkha ywma eshr bshbeth shbyeah byrkha thbwtha wnkhth
The ship rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on Ararat’s mountains.

ומיא הוו אזלין וחסרין עד ירחא עשיראה בעשיראה בחד לירחא אתחזיאו רישי טוריא:
Twrya ryshy athkhzyaw lyrkha bkhd beshyrah eshyrah yrkha ed wkhsryn azlyn hww wmya
The waters receded continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were visible.

והוה מסוף ארבעין יומין ופתח נח ית כות תבותא די עבד:
ebd dy thbwtha kwth yth nkh wpthkh ywmyn arbeyn mswp whwh
At the end of forty days, Noah opened the window of the ship which he had made,

ושלח ית ערבא ונפק מפק ותיב עד דיבישו מיא מעל ארעא:
area mel mya dybyshw ed wthyb mpq wnpq erba yth wshlkh
and he sent out a raven. It went back and forth, until the waters were dried up from the earth.

ושלח ית יונה מלותיה למחזי הקליאו מיא מעל אפי ארעא:
area apy mel mya hqlyaw lmkhzy mlwthyh ywnh yth wshlkh
He himself sent out a dove to see if the waters were abated from the surface of the ground,

ולא אשכחת יונה מנח לפרסת רגלה ותבת לותיה לתבותא ארי מיא על אפי כל ארעא ואושיט ידיה ונסבה ואעיל יתה לותיה לתבותא:
lthbwtha lwthyh ythh waeyl wnsbh ydyh wawshyT area kl apy el mya ary lthbwtha lwthyh wthbth rglh lprsth mnkh ywnh ashkkhth wla
but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned into the ship to him, for the waters were on the surface of the whole earth. He put out his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ship.

ואוריך עוד שבעא יומין אחרנין ואוסיף שלח ית יונה מן תבותא:
thbwtha mn ywnh yth shlkh wawsyp akhrnyn ywmyn shbea ewd wawryk
He waited yet another seven days; and again he sent the dove out of the ship.

ואתת לותיה יונה לעדן רמשא והא טרף זיתא תביר נחית בפומה וידע נח ארי קליאו מיא מעל ארעא:
area mel mya qlyaw ary nkh wyde bpwmh nkhyth thbyr zytha Trp wha rmsha ledn ywnh lwthyh wathth
The dove came back to him at evening and, behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from the earth.

ואוריך עוד שבעה יומין אחרנין ושלח ית יונה ולא אוסיפת למתוב לותיה עוד:
ewd lwthyh lmthwb awsypth wla ywnh yth wshlkh akhrnyn ywmyn shbeh ewd wawryk
He waited yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; and she didn’t return to him any more.

והוה בשת מאה וחד שנין בקדמאה בחד לירחא נגובו מיא מעל ארעא ואעדי נח ית חופאה דתבותא וחזא והא נגובו אפי ארעא:
area apy ngwbw wha wkhza dthbwtha khwpah yth nkh waedy area mel mya ngwbw lyrkha bkhd bqdmah shnyn wkhd mah bshth whwh
In the six hundred first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ship, and looked. He saw that the surface of the ground was dry.

ובירחא תנינא בעשרין ושבעא יומא לירחא יבישת ארעא:
area ybyshth lyrkha ywma wshbea beshryn thnyna wbyrkha
In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.

פוק מן תבותא את ואתתך ובנך ונשי בנך עמך:
emk bnk wnshy wbnk waththk ath thbwtha mn pwq
“Go out of the ship, you, your wife, your sons, and your sons’ wives with you.
17
כל חיתא דעמך מכל בשרא בעופא ובבעירא ובכל רחשא דרחש על ארעא אפיק עמך ויתילדון בארעא ויפשון ויסגון על ארעא:
area el wysgwn wypshwn barea wythyldwn emk apyq area el drkhsh rkhsha wbkl wbbeyra bewpa bshra mkl demk khytha kl
Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh, including birds, livestock, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply on the earth.”

ונפק נח ובנוהי ואתתיה ונשי בנוהי עמיה:
emyh bnwhy wnshy waththyh wbnwhy nkh wnpq
Noah went out, with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives with him.
19
כל חיתא כל רחשא וכל עופא כל דרחש על ארעא לזרעיתהון נפקו מן תבותא:
thbwtha mn npqw lzreythhwn area el drkhsh kl ewpa wkl rkhsha kl khytha kl
Every animal, every creeping thing, and every bird, whatever moves on the earth, after their families, went out of the ship.

ובנא נח מדבחא קדם יי ונסיב מכל בעירא דכיא ומכל עופא דכי ואסיק עלון במדבחא:
bmdbkha elwn wasyq dky ewpa wmkl dkya beyra mkl wnsyb yy qdm mdbkha nkh wbna
Noah built an altar to Yahweh, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

וקביל יי ברעוא ית קורבניה ואמר יי במימריה לא אוסף למילט עוד ית ארעא בדיל חובי אנשא ארי יצרא לבא דאנשא ביש מזעיריה ולא אוסף עוד לממחי ית כל דחי כמא דעבדית:
debdyth kma dkhy kl yth lmmkhy ewd awsp wla mzeyryh bysh dansha lba ytsra ary ansha khwby bdyl area yth ewd lmylT awsp la bmymryh yy wamr qwrbnyh yth brewa yy wqbyl
Yahweh smelled the pleasant aroma. Yahweh said in his heart, “I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake because the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth. I will never again strike every living thing, as I have done.
