ואמר יי לנח עול את וכל אנש ביתך לתבותא ארי יתך חזיתי זכאי קדמי בדרא הדין:
wamr yy lnkh ewl ath wkl ansh bythk lthbwtha ary ythk khzythy zkay qdmy bdra hdyn
Yahweh said to Noah, “Come with all of your household into the ship, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.

מכל בעירא דכיא תסב לך שבעא שבעא דכר ונקבא ומן בעירא דלא דכיא היא תרין דכר ונקבא:
mkl beyra dkya thsb lk shbea shbea dkr wnqba wmn beyra dla dkya hya thryn dkr wnqba
You shall take seven pairs of every clean animal with you, the male and his female. Of the animals that are not clean, take two, the male and his female.

אף מעופא דשמיא שבעא שבעא דכר ונקבא לקימא זרעא על אפי כל ארעא:
ap mewpa dshmya shbea shbea dkr wnqba lqyma zrea el apy kl area
Also of the birds of the sky, seven and seven, male and female, to keep seed alive on the surface of all the earth.

ארי לזמן יומין עוד שבעא אנא מחת מטרא על ארעא ארבעין יממין וארבעין לילון ואמחי ית כל יקומא די עבדת מעל אפי ארעא:
ary lzmn ywmyn ewd shbea ana mkhth mTra el area arbeyn ymmyn warbeyn lylwn wamkhy yth kl yqwma dy ebdth mel apy area
In seven days, I will cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. I will destroy every living thing that I have made from the surface of the ground.”

ועבד נח ככל די פקדיה יי:
webd nkh kkl dy pqdyh yy
Noah did everything that Yahweh commanded him.

ונח בר שת מאה שנין וטופנא הוה מיא על ארעא:
wnkh br shth mah shnyn wTwpna hwh mya el area
Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth.

ועאל נח ובנוהי ואתתיה ונשי בנוהי עמיה לתבותא מן קדם מי טופנא:
weal nkh wbnwhy waththyh wnshy bnwhy emyh lthbwtha mn qdm my Twpna
Noah went into the ship with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, because of the floodwaters.

מן בעירא דכיא ומן בעירא די ליתהא דכיא ומן עופא וכל די רחש על ארעא:
mn beyra dkya wmn beyra dy lythha dkya wmn ewpa wkl dy rkhsh el area
Clean animals, unclean animals, birds, and everything that creeps on the ground

תרין תרין עלו לות נח לתבותא דכר ונקבא כמא די פקיד יי ית נח:
thryn thryn elw lwth nkh lthbwtha dkr wnqba kma dy pqyd yy yth nkh
went by pairs to Noah into the ship, male and female, as God commanded Noah.

והוה לזמן שבעת יומין ומי טופנא הוו על ארעא:
whwh lzmn shbeth ywmyn wmy Twpna hww el area
After the seven days, the floodwaters came on the earth.

בשנת שת מאה שנין לחיי נח בירחא תנינא בשבעת עשרא יומא לירחא ביומא הדין אתבזעו כל מבועי תהומא רבא וכוי שמיא אתפתחו:
bshnth shth mah shnyn lkhyy nkh byrkha thnyna bshbeth eshra ywma lyrkha bywma hdyn athbzew kl mbwey thhwma rba wkwy shmya athpthkhw
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the sky’s windows opened.

והוה מטרא נחת על ארעא ארבעין יממין וארבעין לילון:
whwh mTra nkhth el area arbeyn ymmyn warbeyn lylwn
It rained on the earth forty days and forty nights.

בכרן יומא הדין על נח ושם וחם ויפת בני נח ואתת נח ותלתא נשי בנוהי עמהון לתבותא:
bkrn ywma hdyn el nkh wshm wkhm wypth bny nkh wathth nkh wthltha nshy bnwhy emhwn lthbwtha
In the same day Noah, and Shem, Ham, and Japheth—the sons of Noah—and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ship—

אנון וכל חיתא לזנה וכל בעירא לזנה וכל רחשא דרחש על ארעא לזנוהי וכל עופא לזנוהי כל צפר כל דפרח:
anwn wkl khytha lznh wkl beyra lznh wkl rkhsha drkhsh el area lznwhy wkl ewpa lznwhy kl tspr kl dprkh
they, and every animal after its kind, all the livestock after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.

ועלו עם נח לתבותא תרין תרין מכל בשרא די ביה רוחא דחיי:
welw em nkh lthbwtha thryn thryn mkl bshra dy byh rwkha dkhyy
Pairs from all flesh with the breath of life in them went into the ship to Noah.
16
ועליא דכר ונקבא מכל בשרא עלו כמא די פקיד יתיה יי ואגן יי עלוהי:
welya dkr wnqba mkl bshra elw kma dy pqyd ythyh yy wagn yy elwhy
Those who went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him; then Yahweh shut him in.

והוה טופנא ארבעין יומין על ארעא וסגיאו מיא ונטלו ית תבותא ואתרמת מעל ארעא:
whwh Twpna arbeyn ywmyn el area wsgyaw mya wnTlw yth thbwtha wathrmth mel area
The flood was forty days on the earth. The waters increased, and lifted up the ship, and it was lifted up above the earth.

ותקיפו מיא וסגיאו לחדא על ארעא ומהלכא תבותא על אפי מיא:
wthqypw mya wsgyaw lkhda el area wmhlka thbwtha el apy mya
The waters rose, and increased greatly on the earth; and the ship floated on the surface of the waters.
19
ומיא תקיפו לחדא לחדא על ארעא ואתחפיאו כל טוריא רמיא די תחות כל שמיא:
wmya thqypw lkhda lkhda el area wathkhpyaw kl Twrya rmya dy thkhwth kl shmya
The waters rose very high on the earth. All the high mountains that were under the whole sky were covered.

חמש עשרה אמין מלעלא תקיפו מיא ואתחפיאו טוריא:
khmsh eshrh amyn mlela thqypw mya wathkhpyaw Twrya
The waters rose fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered.
21
ומית כל בשרא דרחש על ארעא בעופא ובבעירא ובחיתא ובכל רחשא דרחש על ארעא וכל אנשא:
wmyth kl bshra drkhsh el area bewpa wbbeyra wbkhytha wbkl rkhsha drkhsh el area wkl ansha
All flesh died that moved on the earth, including birds, livestock, animals, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.

כל די נשמתא רוחא דחיין באנפוהי מכל די ביבשתא מיתו:
kl dy nshmtha rwkha dkhyyn banpwhy mkl dy bybshtha mythw
All on the dry land, in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.
23
ומחא ית כל יקומא די על אפי ארעא מאנשא עד בעירא עד רחשא ועד עופא דשמיא ואתמחיאו מן ארעא ואשתאר ברם נח ודי עמיה בתבותא:
wmkha yth kl yqwma dy el apy area mansha ed beyra ed rkhsha wed ewpa dshmya wathmkhyaw mn area washthar brm nkh wdy emyh bthbwtha
Every living thing was destroyed that was on the surface of the ground, including man, livestock, creeping things, and birds of the sky. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ship.

ותקיפו מיא על ארעא מאה וחמשין יומין:
wthqypw mya el area mah wkhmshyn ywmyn
The waters flooded the earth one hundred fifty days.
