ואמר יי לנח עול את וכל אנש ביתך לתבותא ארי יתך חזיתי זכאי קדמי בדרא הדין:
hdyn bdra qdmy zkay khzythy ythk ary lthbwtha bythk ansh wkl ath ewl lnkh yy wamr
Yahweh said to Noah, “Come with all of your household into the ship, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.

מכל בעירא דכיא תסב לך שבעא שבעא דכר ונקבא ומן בעירא דלא דכיא היא תרין דכר ונקבא:
wnqba dkr thryn hya dkya dla beyra wmn wnqba dkr shbea shbea lk thsb dkya beyra mkl
You shall take seven pairs of every clean animal with you, the male and his female. Of the animals that are not clean, take two, the male and his female.

אף מעופא דשמיא שבעא שבעא דכר ונקבא לקימא זרעא על אפי כל ארעא:
area kl apy el zrea lqyma wnqba dkr shbea shbea dshmya mewpa ap
Also of the birds of the sky, seven and seven, male and female, to keep seed alive on the surface of all the earth.

ארי לזמן יומין עוד שבעא אנא מחת מטרא על ארעא ארבעין יממין וארבעין לילון ואמחי ית כל יקומא די עבדת מעל אפי ארעא:
area apy mel ebdth dy yqwma kl yth wamkhy lylwn warbeyn ymmyn arbeyn area el mTra mkhth ana shbea ewd ywmyn lzmn ary
In seven days, I will cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. I will destroy every living thing that I have made from the surface of the ground.”

ונח בר שת מאה שנין וטופנא הוה מיא על ארעא:
area el mya hwh wTwpna shnyn mah shth br wnkh
Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth.

ועאל נח ובנוהי ואתתיה ונשי בנוהי עמיה לתבותא מן קדם מי טופנא:
Twpna my qdm mn lthbwtha emyh bnwhy wnshy waththyh wbnwhy nkh weal
Noah went into the ship with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, because of the floodwaters.

מן בעירא דכיא ומן בעירא די ליתהא דכיא ומן עופא וכל די רחש על ארעא:
area el rkhsh dy wkl ewpa wmn dkya lythha dy beyra wmn dkya beyra mn
Clean animals, unclean animals, birds, and everything that creeps on the ground

תרין תרין עלו לות נח לתבותא דכר ונקבא כמא די פקיד יי ית נח:
nkh yth yy pqyd dy kma wnqba dkr lthbwtha nkh lwth elw thryn thryn
went by pairs to Noah into the ship, male and female, as God commanded Noah.

והוה לזמן שבעת יומין ומי טופנא הוו על ארעא:
area el hww Twpna wmy ywmyn shbeth lzmn whwh
After the seven days, the floodwaters came on the earth.

בשנת שת מאה שנין לחיי נח בירחא תנינא בשבעת עשרא יומא לירחא ביומא הדין אתבזעו כל מבועי תהומא רבא וכוי שמיא אתפתחו:
athpthkhw shmya wkwy rba thhwma mbwey kl athbzew hdyn bywma lyrkha ywma eshra bshbeth thnyna byrkha nkh lkhyy shnyn mah shth bshnth
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the sky’s windows opened.

והוה מטרא נחת על ארעא ארבעין יממין וארבעין לילון:
lylwn warbeyn ymmyn arbeyn area el nkhth mTra whwh
It rained on the earth forty days and forty nights.

בכרן יומא הדין על נח ושם וחם ויפת בני נח ואתת נח ותלתא נשי בנוהי עמהון לתבותא:
lthbwtha emhwn bnwhy nshy wthltha nkh wathth nkh bny wypth wkhm wshm nkh el hdyn ywma bkrn
In the same day Noah, and Shem, Ham, and Japheth—the sons of Noah—and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ship—

אנון וכל חיתא לזנה וכל בעירא לזנה וכל רחשא דרחש על ארעא לזנוהי וכל עופא לזנוהי כל צפר כל דפרח:
dprkh kl tspr kl lznwhy ewpa wkl lznwhy area el drkhsh rkhsha wkl lznh beyra wkl lznh khytha wkl anwn
they, and every animal after its kind, all the livestock after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.

ועלו עם נח לתבותא תרין תרין מכל בשרא די ביה רוחא דחיי:
dkhyy rwkha byh dy bshra mkl thryn thryn lthbwtha nkh em welw
Pairs from all flesh with the breath of life in them went into the ship to Noah.
16
ועליא דכר ונקבא מכל בשרא עלו כמא די פקיד יתיה יי ואגן יי עלוהי:
elwhy yy wagn yy ythyh pqyd dy kma elw bshra mkl wnqba dkr welya
Those who went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him; then Yahweh shut him in.

והוה טופנא ארבעין יומין על ארעא וסגיאו מיא ונטלו ית תבותא ואתרמת מעל ארעא:
area mel wathrmth thbwtha yth wnTlw mya wsgyaw area el ywmyn arbeyn Twpna whwh
The flood was forty days on the earth. The waters increased, and lifted up the ship, and it was lifted up above the earth.

ותקיפו מיא וסגיאו לחדא על ארעא ומהלכא תבותא על אפי מיא:
mya apy el thbwtha wmhlka area el lkhda wsgyaw mya wthqypw
The waters rose, and increased greatly on the earth; and the ship floated on the surface of the waters.
19
ומיא תקיפו לחדא לחדא על ארעא ואתחפיאו כל טוריא רמיא די תחות כל שמיא:
shmya kl thkhwth dy rmya Twrya kl wathkhpyaw area el lkhda lkhda thqypw wmya
The waters rose very high on the earth. All the high mountains that were under the whole sky were covered.

חמש עשרה אמין מלעלא תקיפו מיא ואתחפיאו טוריא:
Twrya wathkhpyaw mya thqypw mlela amyn eshrh khmsh
The waters rose fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered.
21
ומית כל בשרא דרחש על ארעא בעופא ובבעירא ובחיתא ובכל רחשא דרחש על ארעא וכל אנשא:
ansha wkl area el drkhsh rkhsha wbkl wbkhytha wbbeyra bewpa area el drkhsh bshra kl wmyth
All flesh died that moved on the earth, including birds, livestock, animals, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.

כל די נשמתא רוחא דחיין באנפוהי מכל די ביבשתא מיתו:
mythw bybshtha dy mkl banpwhy dkhyyn rwkha nshmtha dy kl
All on the dry land, in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.

ומחא ית כל יקומא די על אפי ארעא מאנשא עד בעירא עד רחשא ועד עופא דשמיא ואתמחיאו מן ארעא ואשתאר ברם נח ודי עמיה בתבותא:
bthbwtha emyh wdy nkh brm washthar area mn wathmkhyaw dshmya ewpa wed rkhsha ed beyra ed mansha area apy el dy yqwma kl yth wmkha
Every living thing was destroyed that was on the surface of the ground, including man, livestock, creeping things, and birds of the sky. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ship.
