והוה כד שריאו בני אנשא למסגי על אפי ארעא ובנתא אתילידו להון:
whwh kd shryaw bny ansha lmsgy el apy area wbntha athylydw lhwn
When men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and daughters were born to them,

וחזו בני רברביא ית בנת אנשא ארי שפירן אנון ונסיבו להון נשין מכל די אתרעיאו:
wkhzw bny rbrbya yth bnth ansha ary shpyrn anwn wnsybw lhwn nshyn mkl dy athreyaw
God’s sons saw that men’s daughters were beautiful, and they took any that they wanted for themselves as wives.

ואמר יי לא יתקים דרא בישא הדין קדמי לעלם בדיל דאנון בשרא ועובדיהון בישיא ארכא יהיבת להון מאה ועשרין שנין אם יתובון:
wamr yy la ythqym dra bysha hdyn qdmy lelm bdyl danwn bshra wewbdyhwn byshya arka yhybth lhwn mah weshryn shnyn am ythwbwn
Yahweh said, “My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years.”

גבריא הוו בארעא ביומיא האנון ואף בתר כן די יעלון בני רברביא לות בנת אנשא וילידן להון אנון גבריא דמעלמא אנשין דשמא:
gbrya hww barea bywmya hanwn wap bthr kn dy yelwn bny rbrbya lwth bnth ansha wylydn lhwn anwn gbrya dmelma anshyn dshma
The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when God’s sons came in to men’s daughters and had children with them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

וחזא יי ארי סגיאת בישת אנשא בארעא וכל יצרא מחשבת לבה לחוד ביש כל יומא:
wkhza yy ary sgyath byshth ansha barea wkl ytsra mkhshbth lbh lkhwd bysh kl ywma
Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.

ותב יי במימרה ארי עבד ית אנשא בארעא ואמר במימרה למתבר תקפהון כרעותה:
wthb yy bmymrh ary ebd yth ansha barea wamr bmymrh lmthbr thqphwn krewthh
Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.

ואמר יי אמחי ית אנשא די בראתי מעל אפי ארעא מאנשא עד בעירא עד ריחשא ועד עופא דשמיא ארי תבית במימרי ארי עבדתנון:
wamr yy amkhy yth ansha dy brathy mel apy area mansha ed beyra ed rykhsha wed ewpa dshmya ary thbyth bmymry ary ebdthnwn
Yahweh said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the surface of the ground—man, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky—for I am sorry that I have made them.”

ונח אשכח רחמין קדם יי:
wnkh ashkkh rkhmyn qdm yy
But Noah found favor in Yahweh’s eyes.

אלין תולדת נח נח גבר זכאי שלים הוה בדרוהי בדחלתא דיי הליך נח:
alyn thwldth nkh nkh gbr zkay shlym hwh bdrwhy bdkhltha dyy hlyk nkh
This is the history of the generations of Noah: Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah walked with God.

ואוליד נח תלתא בנין ית שם ית חם וית יפת:
wawlyd nkh thltha bnyn yth shm yth khm wyth ypth
Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

ואתחבלת ארעא קדם יי ואתמליאת ארעא חטופין:
wathkhblth area qdm yy wathmlyath area khTwpyn
The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

וחזא יי ית ארעא והא אתחבלת ארי חבילו כל בשרא אנש ית ארחה על ארעא:
wkhza yy yth area wha athkhblth ary khbylw kl bshra ansh yth arkhh el area
God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

ואמר יי לנח קצא דכל בשרא עלת לקדמי ארי אתמליאת ארעא חטופין מן קדם עובדיהון בישיא והא אנא מחבלהון עם ארעא:
wamr yy lnkh qtsa dkl bshra elth lqdmy ary athmlyath area khTwpyn mn qdm ewbdyhwn byshya wha ana mkhblhwn em area
God said to Noah, “I will bring an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them and the earth.

עיבד לך תבותא דאעין דקדרום מדורין תעבד ית תבותא ותחפי יתה מגו ומברא בכפרא:
eybd lk thbwtha daeyn dqdrwm mdwryn thebd yth thbwtha wthkhpy ythh mgw wmbra bkpra
Make a ship of gopher wood. You shall make rooms in the ship, and shall seal it inside and outside with pitch.

ודין דתעבד יתה תלת מאה אמין אורכא דתבותא חמשין אמין פתיה ותלתין אמין רומה:
wdyn dthebd ythh thlth mah amyn awrka dthbwtha khmshyn amyn pthyh wthlthyn amyn rwmh
This is how you shall make it. The length of the ship shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.

נהור תעביד לתבותא ולאמתא תשכללנה מלעלא ותרעא דתבותא בסטרה תשוי מדורין ארעין תנינין ותליתאין תעבדנה:
nhwr thebyd lthbwtha wlamtha thshkllnh mlela wthrea dthbwtha bsTrh thshwy mdwryn areyn thnynyn wthlythayn thebdnh
You shall make a roof in the ship, and you shall finish it to a cubit upward. You shall set the door of the ship in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third levels.

ואנא הא אנא מיתי ית טופנא מיא על ארעא לחבלא כל בשרא די ביה רוחא דחיי מתחות שמיא כל די בארעא ימות:
wana ha ana mythy yth Twpna mya el area lkhbla kl bshra dy byh rwkha dkhyy mthkhwth shmya kl dy barea ymwth
I, even I, will bring the flood of waters on this earth, to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.

ואקם ית קימי עמך ותעול לתבותא את ובנך ואתתך ונשי בנך עמך:
waqm yth qymy emk wthewl lthbwtha ath wbnk waththk wnshy bnk emk
But I will establish my covenant with you. You shall come into the ship, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.

ומכל דחי מכל בשרא תרין מכלא תעיל לתבותא לקימא עמך דכר ונקבא יהון:
wmkl dkhy mkl bshra thryn mkla theyl lthbwtha lqyma emk dkr wnqba yhwn
Of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ship, to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.

מעופא לזנוהי ומן בעירא לזנה ומכל רחשא דארעא לזנוהי תרין מכלא יעלון לותך לקימא:
mewpa lznwhy wmn beyra lznh wmkl rkhsha darea lznwhy thryn mkla yelwn lwthk lqyma
Of the birds after their kind, of the livestock after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every sort will come to you, to keep them alive.

ואת סב לך מכל מיכל דמתאכל ותכנוש לותך ויהי לך ולהון למיכל:
wath sb lk mkl mykl dmthakl wthknwsh lwthk wyhy lk wlhwn lmykl
Take with you some of all food that is eaten, and gather it to yourself; and it will be for food for you, and for them.”

ועבד נח ככל די פקיד יתיה יי כן עבד:
webd nkh kkl dy pqyd ythyh yy kn ebd
Thus Noah did. He did all that God commanded him.
