1
והוה כד שריאו בני אנשא למסגי על אפי ארעא ובנתא אתילידו להון:
lhwn athylydw wbntha area apy el lmsgy ansha bny shryaw kd whwh
When men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and daughters were born to them,
2
וחזו בני רברביא ית בנת אנשא ארי שפירן אנון ונסיבו להון נשין מכל די אתרעיאו:
athreyaw dy mkl nshyn lhwn wnsybw anwn shpyrn ary ansha bnth yth rbrbya bny wkhzw
God’s sons saw that men’s daughters were beautiful, and they took any that they wanted for themselves as wives.

ואמר יי לא יתקים דרא בישא הדין קדמי לעלם בדיל דאנון בשרא ועובדיהון בישיא ארכא יהיבת להון מאה ועשרין שנין אם יתובון:
ythwbwn am shnyn weshryn mah lhwn yhybth arka byshya wewbdyhwn bshra danwn bdyl lelm qdmy hdyn bysha dra ythqym la yy wamr
Yahweh said, “My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years.”

גבריא הוו בארעא ביומיא האנון ואף בתר כן די יעלון בני רברביא לות בנת אנשא וילידן להון אנון גבריא דמעלמא אנשין דשמא:
dshma anshyn dmelma gbrya anwn lhwn wylydn ansha bnth lwth rbrbya bny yelwn dy kn bthr wap hanwn bywmya barea hww gbrya
The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when God’s sons came in to men’s daughters and had children with them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

וחזא יי ארי סגיאת בישת אנשא בארעא וכל יצרא מחשבת לבה לחוד ביש כל יומא:
ywma kl bysh lkhwd lbh mkhshbth ytsra wkl barea ansha byshth sgyath ary yy wkhza
Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.

ותב יי במימרה ארי עבד ית אנשא בארעא ואמר במימרה למתבר תקפהון כרעותה:
krewthh thqphwn lmthbr bmymrh wamr barea ansha yth ebd ary bmymrh yy wthb
Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.

ואמר יי אמחי ית אנשא די בראתי מעל אפי ארעא מאנשא עד בעירא עד ריחשא ועד עופא דשמיא ארי תבית במימרי ארי עבדתנון:
ebdthnwn ary bmymry thbyth ary dshmya ewpa wed rykhsha ed beyra ed mansha area apy mel brathy dy ansha yth amkhy yy wamr
Yahweh said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the surface of the ground—man, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky—for I am sorry that I have made them.”

אלין תולדת נח נח גבר זכאי שלים הוה בדרוהי בדחלתא דיי הליך נח:
nkh hlyk dyy bdkhltha bdrwhy hwh shlym zkay gbr nkh nkh thwldth alyn
This is the history of the generations of Noah: Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah walked with God.

ואוליד נח תלתא בנין ית שם ית חם וית יפת:
ypth wyth khm yth shm yth bnyn thltha nkh wawlyd
Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

ואתחבלת ארעא קדם יי ואתמליאת ארעא חטופין:
khTwpyn area wathmlyath yy qdm area wathkhblth
The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

וחזא יי ית ארעא והא אתחבלת ארי חבילו כל בשרא אנש ית ארחה על ארעא:
area el arkhh yth ansh bshra kl khbylw ary athkhblth wha area yth yy wkhza
God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

ואמר יי לנח קצא דכל בשרא עלת לקדמי ארי אתמליאת ארעא חטופין מן קדם עובדיהון בישיא והא אנא מחבלהון עם ארעא:
area em mkhblhwn ana wha byshya ewbdyhwn qdm mn khTwpyn area athmlyath ary lqdmy elth bshra dkl qtsa lnkh yy wamr
God said to Noah, “I will bring an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them and the earth.

עיבד לך תבותא דאעין דקדרום מדורין תעבד ית תבותא ותחפי יתה מגו ומברא בכפרא:
bkpra wmbra mgw ythh wthkhpy thbwtha yth thebd mdwryn dqdrwm daeyn thbwtha lk eybd
Make a ship of gopher wood. You shall make rooms in the ship, and shall seal it inside and outside with pitch.

ודין דתעבד יתה תלת מאה אמין אורכא דתבותא חמשין אמין פתיה ותלתין אמין רומה:
rwmh amyn wthlthyn pthyh amyn khmshyn dthbwtha awrka amyn mah thlth ythh dthebd wdyn
This is how you shall make it. The length of the ship shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.

נהור תעביד לתבותא ולאמתא תשכללנה מלעלא ותרעא דתבותא בסטרה תשוי מדורין ארעין תנינין ותליתאין תעבדנה:
thebdnh wthlythayn thnynyn areyn mdwryn thshwy bsTrh dthbwtha wthrea mlela thshkllnh wlamtha lthbwtha thebyd nhwr
You shall make a roof in the ship, and you shall finish it to a cubit upward. You shall set the door of the ship in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third levels.

ואנא הא אנא מיתי ית טופנא מיא על ארעא לחבלא כל בשרא די ביה רוחא דחיי מתחות שמיא כל די בארעא ימות:
ymwth barea dy kl shmya mthkhwth dkhyy rwkha byh dy bshra kl lkhbla area el mya Twpna yth mythy ana ha wana
I, even I, will bring the flood of waters on this earth, to destroy all flesh having the breath of life from under the sky. Everything that is in the earth will die.
18
ואקם ית קימי עמך ותעול לתבותא את ובנך ואתתך ונשי בנך עמך:
emk bnk wnshy waththk wbnk ath lthbwtha wthewl emk qymy yth waqm
But I will establish my covenant with you. You shall come into the ship, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.

ומכל דחי מכל בשרא תרין מכלא תעיל לתבותא לקימא עמך דכר ונקבא יהון:
yhwn wnqba dkr emk lqyma lthbwtha theyl mkla thryn bshra mkl dkhy wmkl
Of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ship, to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.

מעופא לזנוהי ומן בעירא לזנה ומכל רחשא דארעא לזנוהי תרין מכלא יעלון לותך לקימא:
lqyma lwthk yelwn mkla thryn lznwhy darea rkhsha wmkl lznh beyra wmn lznwhy mewpa
Of the birds after their kind, of the livestock after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every sort will come to you, to keep them alive.
21
ואת סב לך מכל מיכל דמתאכל ותכנוש לותך ויהי לך ולהון למיכל:
lmykl wlhwn lk wyhy lwthk wthknwsh dmthakl mykl mkl lk sb wath
Take with you some of all food that is eaten, and gather it to yourself; and it will be for food for you, and for them.”
