וקרא יעקב לבנוהי ואמר אתכנשו ואחוי לכון ית די יערע יתכון בסוף יומיא:
ywmya bswp ythkwn yere dy yth lkwn wakhwy athknshw wamr lbnwhy yeqb wqra
Jacob called to his sons, and said: “Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which will happen to you in the days to come.

אתכנשו ושמעו בני יעקב וקבילו אולפן מן ישראל אבוכון:
abwkwn yshral mn awlpn wqbylw yeqb bny wshmew athknshw
Assemble yourselves, and hear, you sons of Jacob. Listen to Israel, your father.

ראובן בוכרי את חילי וריש תקפי לך הוה חזי למסב תלתא חולקין בכירותא כהנתא ומלכותא:
wmlkwtha khntha bkyrwtha khwlqyn thltha lmsb khzy hwh lk thqpy wrysh khyly ath bwkry rawbn
“Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, excelling in dignity, and excelling in power.

על דאזלתא לקבל אפיך הא כמיא ברם לא אהניתא חולק יתיר לא תסב ארי סלקתא בית משכבי אבוך בכן אחלתא לשוויי ברי סלקתא:
slqtha bry lshwwyy akhltha bkn abwk mshkby byth slqtha ary thsb la ythyr khwlq ahnytha la brm kmya ha apyk lqbl dazltha el
Boiling over like water, you shall not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, then defiled it. He went up to my couch.

שמעון ולוי אחין גברין גברין בארע תותבותהון עבדו גבורא:
gbwra ebdw thwthbwthhwn bare gbryn gbryn akhyn wlwy shmewn
“Simeon and Levi are brothers. Their swords are weapons of violence.

ברזהון לא הות נפשי באתכנשהון למהך לא נחתית מן יקרי ארי ברגזהון קטלו קטול וברעותהון תרעו שור סנאה:
snah shwr threw wbrewthhwn qTwl qTlw brgzhwn ary yqry mn nkhthyth la lmhk bathknshhwn npshy hwth la brzhwn
My soul, don’t come into their council. My glory, don’t be united to their assembly; for in their anger they killed men. In their self-will they hamstrung cattle.

ליט רגזהון ארי תקיף וחמתהון ארי קשיא אפלגנון ביעקב ואבדרנון בישראל:
byshral wabdrnwn byeqb aplgnwn qshya ary wkhmthhwn thqyp ary rgzhwn lyT
Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

יהודה את אודיתא ולא בהיתתא בך יודון אחיך ידך תתקף על בעלי דבבך יתבדרון סנאך יהון מחזרין קדל קדמך ויהון מקדמין למשאל בשלמך בני אבוך:
abwk bny bshlmk lmshal mqdmyn wyhwn qdmk qdl mkhzryn yhwn snak ythbdrwn dbbk bely el ththqp ydk akhyk ywdwn bk bhyththa wla awdytha ath yhwdh
“Judah, your brothers will praise you. Your hand will be on the neck of your enemies. Your father’s sons will bow down before you.

שלטון יהי בשרויא ובסופא יתרבא מלכא מדבית יהודה ארי מדין קטלא ברי נפשך סלקתא ינוח ישרי בתקוף כאריא וכליתא ולית מלכו דתזעזעניה:
dthzezenyh mlkw wlyth wklytha karya bthqwp yshry ynwkh slqtha npshk bry qTla mdyn ary yhwdh mdbyth mlka ythrba wbswpa bshrwya yhy shlTwn
Judah is a lion’s cub. From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down, he crouched as a lion, as a lioness. Who will rouse him up?

לא יעדי עבד שלטן מדבית יהודה וספרא מבני בנוהי עד עלמא עד דייתי משיחא דדיליה היא מלכותא וליה ישתמעון עממיא:
emmya yshthmewn wlyh mlkwtha hya ddylyh mshykha dyythy ed elma ed bnwhy mbny wspra yhwdh mdbyth shlTn ebd yedy la
The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. The obedience of the peoples will be to him.

יסחר ישראל לקרתיה עמא יבנון היכליה יהון צדיקיא סחור סחור ליה ועבדי אוריתא באולפן עמיה יהי ארגון טב לבושוהי כסותיה מילא מילא צבע זהורי וצבעונין:
wtsbewnyn zhwry tsbe myla myla kswthyh lbwshwhy Tb argwn yhy emyh bawlpn awrytha webdy lyh skhwr skhwr tsdyqya yhwn hyklyh ybnwn ema lqrthyh yshral yskhr
Binding his foal to the vine, his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, he has washed his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.

יסמקון טורוהי בכרמוהי יטופון נעווהי בחמר יחורן בקעתיה בעיבור ובעדרי ענא:
ena wbedry beybwr bqethyh ykhwrn bkhmr newwhy yTwpwn bkrmwhy Twrwhy ysmqwn
His eyes will be red with wine, his teeth white with milk.

זבולן על ספר יממיא ישרי והוא יכבש מחוזין בספינן וטוב ימא ייכול ותחומיה יהי מטי על צידון:
tsydwn el mTy yhy wthkhwmyh yykwl yma wTwb bspynn mkhwzyn ykbsh whwa yshry ymmya spr el zbwln
“Zebulun will dwell at the haven of the sea. He will be for a haven of ships. His border will be on Sidon.

יששכר עתיר בנכסין ואחסנתיה בין תחומיא:
thkhwmya byn wakhsnthyh bnksyn ethyr yshshkr
“Issachar is a strong donkey, lying down between the saddlebags.

וחזא חולקא ארי טב וית ארעא ארי מעבדא פירין ויכבש מחוזי עממיא וישיצי ית דיריהון ודאשתארון בהון יהון ליה פלחין ומסקי מסין:
msyn wmsqy plkhyn lyh yhwn bhwn wdashtharwn dyryhwn yth wyshytsy emmya mkhwzy wykbsh pyryn mebda ary area wyth Tb ary khwlqa wkhza
He saw a resting place, that it was good, the land, that it was pleasant. He bows his shoulder to the burden, and becomes a servant doing forced labor.

מדבית דן יתבחר ויקום גברא ביומוהי יתפרק עמיה ובשנוהי ינוחון כחדא שבטיא דישראל:
dyshral shbTya kkhda ynwkhwn wbshnwhy emyh ythprq bywmwhy gbra wyqwm ythbkhr dn mdbyth
“Dan will judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

יהי גברא דיתבחר ויקום מדבית דן אימתיה תתרמי על עממיא ומחתיה תתקף בפלשתאי כחיוי חורמן ישרי על ארחא וכפתנא יכמון על שבילא יקטל גברי משרית פלשתאי פרשין עם רגלאין יעקר סוסון ורתכין וימגר רוכביהון לאחורא:
lakhwra rwkbyhwn wymgr wrthkyn swswn yeqr rglayn em prshyn plshthay mshryth gbry yqTl shbyla el ykmwn wkpthna arkha el yshry khwrmn kkhywy bplshthay ththqp wmkhthyh emmya el ththrmy aymthyh dn mdbyth wyqwm dythbkhr gbra yhy
Dan will be a serpent on the trail, an adder in the path, that bites the horse’s heels, so that his rider falls backward.

מדבית גד משרית מזינין כד יעברון ית ירדנא קדם אחיהון לקרבא ובנכסין סגיאין יתובון לארעהון:
larehwn ythwbwn sgyayn wbnksyn lqrba akhyhwn qdm yrdna yth yebrwn kd mzynyn mshryth gd mdbyth
“A troop will press on Gad, but he will press on their heel.

דאשר טבא ארעיה והוא מרביא בתפנוקי מלכין:
mlkyn bthpnwqy mrbya whwa areyh Tba dashr
“Asher’s food will be rich. He will produce royal dainties.
21
נפתלי בארע טבא יתרמי עדביה ואחסנתיה תהי מעבדא פירין יהון מודן ומברכין עליהון:
elyhwn wmbrkyn mwdn yhwn pyryn mebda thhy wakhsnthyh edbyh ythrmy Tba bare npthly
“Naphtali is a doe set free, who bears beautiful fawns.

ברי דיסגי יוסף ברי דיתברך כגפן דנציב על עינא דמיא תרין שבטין יפקון מבנוהי יקבלון חולקא ואחסנתא:
wakhsntha khwlqa yqblwn mbnwhy ypqwn shbTyn thryn dmya eyna el dntsyb kgpn dythbrk bry ywsp dysgy bry
“Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine by a spring. His branches run over the wall.

ואתמררו יתיה ונקמוהי ואעיקו ליה גברין גברין בעלי פלגותא:
plgwtha bely gbryn gbryn lyh waeyqw wnqmwhy ythyh wathmrrw
The archers have severely grieved him, shot at him, and persecuted him:

ותבת בהון נביאותיה על דקים אוריתא בסתרא ושוי בתוקפא רוחצניה בכן יתרמא דהב על דרעוהי ואחסין מלכותא ותקיף דא הות ליה מן קדם אל תקיפא דיעקב די במימריה זן אבהן ובנין זרעא דישראל:
dyshral zrea wbnyn abhn zn bmymryh dy dyeqb thqypa al qdm mn lyh hwth da wthqyp mlkwtha wakhsyn drewhy el dhb ythrma bkn rwkhtsnyh bthwqpa wshwy bsthra awrytha dqym el nbyawthyh bhwn wthbth
But his bow remained strong. The arms of his hands were made strong, by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, (from there is the shepherd, the stone of Israel),

מימר אלהא דאבוך יהי בסעדך וית שדי ויברכנך ברכן דנחתן מטלא דשמיא מלעלא ברכן דנגדן ממעמקי ארעא מלרע ברכתא דאבוך ודאמך:
wdamk dabwk brktha mlre area mmemqy dngdn brkn mlela dshmya mTla dnkhthn brkn wybrknk shdy wyth bsedk yhy dabwk alha mymr
even by the God of your father, who will help you, by the Almighty, who will bless you, with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb.

ברכתא דאבוך יתוספן על ברכתא דילי בריכו אבהתי דחמידו להן רברביא דמן עלמא יהוין כל אלין לרישא דיוסף ולגברא פרישא דאחוהי:
dakhwhy prysha wlgbra dywsp lrysha alyn kl yhwyn elma dmn rbrbya lhn dkhmydw abhthy brykw dyly brktha el ythwspn dabwk brktha
The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my ancestors, above the boundaries of the ancient hills. They will be on the head of Joseph, on the crown of the head of him who is separated from his brothers.

בנימין בארעיה תשרי שכנתא ובאחסנתיה יתבני מקדשא בצפרא ובפניא יהון מקרבין כהניא קרבנא ובעדן רמשא יהון מפלגין מותר חולקהון משאר קדשיא:
qdshya mshar khwlqhwn mwthr mplgyn yhwn rmsha wbedn qrbna khnya mqrbyn yhwn wbpnya btspra mqdsha ythbny wbakhsnthyh shkntha thshry bareyh bnymyn
“Benjamin is a ravenous wolf. In the morning he will devour the prey. At evening he will divide the plunder.”

כל אלין שבטיא דישראל תרין עסר ודא דמליל להון אבוהון ובריך יתהון גבר די כברכתיה ברך יתהון:
ythhwn brk kbrkthyh dy gbr ythhwn wbryk abwhwn lhwn dmlyl wda esr thryn dyshral shbTya alyn kl
All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father spoke to them, and blessed them. He blessed everyone according to his own blessing.

ופקד יתהון ואמר להון אנא מתכנש לעמי קברו יתי לות אבהתי במערתא די בחקל עפרון חתאה:
khthah eprwn bkhql dy bmertha abhthy lwth ythy qbrw lemy mthknsh ana lhwn wamr ythhwn wpqd
He instructed them, and said to them, “I am to be gathered to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

במערתא די בחקל כפלתא די על אפי ממרא בארעא דכנען די זבן אברהם ית חקלא מן עפרן חתאה לאחסנת קבורא:
qbwra lakhsnth khthah eprn mn khqla yth abrhm zbn dy dknen barea mmra apy el dy kpltha bkhql dy bmertha
in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite as a burial place.

תמן קברו ית אברהם וית שרה אתתיה תמן קברו ית יצחק וית רבקה אתתיה ותמן קברית ית לאה:
lah yth qbryth wthmn aththyh rbqh wyth ytskhq yth qbrw thmn aththyh shrh wyth abrhm yth qbrw thmn
There they buried Abraham and Sarah, his wife. There they buried Isaac and Rebekah, his wife, and there I buried Leah:

זביני חקלא ומערתא די ביה מן בני חתאה:
khthah bny mn byh dy wmertha khqla zbyny
the field and the cave that is therein, which was purchased from the children of Heth.”
