ולא יכיל יוסף לאתחסנא לכל דקימין עלוהי וקרא אפיקו כל אנש מעלוי ולא קם אנש עמיה כד אתידע יוסף לות אחוהי:
wla ykyl ywsp lathkhsna lkl dqymyn elwhy wqra apyqw kl ansh melwy wla qm ansh emyh kd athyde ywsp lwth akhwhy
Then Joseph couldn’t control himself before all those who stood before him, and he called out, “Cause everyone to go out from me!” No one else stood with him, while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.

ויהב ית קליה בבכיתא ושמעו מצרים ושמע אנש בית פרעה:
wyhb yth qlyh bbkytha wshmew mtsrym wshme ansh byth preh
He wept aloud. The Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard.

ואמר יוסף לאחוהי אנא יוסף העד כען אבא קים ולא יכילו אחוהי לאתבא יתיה פתגם ארי אתבהילו מן קדמוהי:
wamr ywsp lakhwhy ana ywsp hed ken aba qym wla ykylw akhwhy lathba ythyh pthgm ary athbhylw mn qdmwhy
Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Does my father still live?” His brothers couldn’t answer him; for they were terrified at his presence.

ואמר יוסף לאחוהי קריבו כען לותי וקריבו ואמר אנא יוסף אחוכון די זבנתון יתי למצרים:
wamr ywsp lakhwhy qrybw ken lwthy wqrybw wamr ana ywsp akhwkwn dy zbnthwn ythy lmtsrym
Joseph said to his brothers, “Come near to me, please.” They came near. He said, “I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.

וכען לא תתנסון ולא יתקף בעיניכון ארי זבנתון יתי הכא ארי לקימא שלחני יי קדמיכון:
wken la ththnswn wla ythqp beynykwn ary zbnthwn ythy hka ary lqyma shlkhny yy qdmykwn
Now don’t be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.

ארי דנן תרתין שנין כפנא בגו ארעא ועוד חמש שנין די לית זרועא וחצדא:
ary dnn thrthyn shnyn kpna bgw area wewd khmsh shnyn dy lyth zrwea wkhtsda
For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are yet five years, in which there will be no plowing and no harvest.

ושלחני יי קדמיכון לשואה לכון שארא בארעא ולקימא לכון לשיזבא רבא:
wshlkhny yy qdmykwn lshwah lkwn shara barea wlqyma lkwn lshyzba rba
God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance.

וכען לא אתון שלחתון יתי הכא אלהן מן קדם יי ושויני לאבא לפרעה ולרבון לכל אנש ביתיה ושליט בכל ארעא דמצרים:
wken la athwn shlkhthwn ythy hka alhn mn qdm yy wshwyny laba lpreh wlrbwn lkl ansh bythyh wshlyT bkl area dmtsrym
So now it wasn’t you who sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

אוחו וסקו לות אבא ותימרון ליה כדנן אמר ברך יוסף שויני יי לרבון לכל מצרים חות לותי לא תתעכב:
awkhw wsqw lwth aba wthymrwn lyh kdnn amr brk ywsp shwyny yy lrbwn lkl mtsrym khwth lwthy la ththekb
Hurry, and go up to my father, and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says, “God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me. Don’t wait.

ותתיב בארעא דגשן ותהי קריב לי את ובנך ובני בנך וענך ותורך וכל די לך:
wththyb barea dgshn wthhy qryb ly ath wbnk wbny bnk wenk wthwrk wkl dy lk
You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be near to me, you, your children, your children’s children, your flocks, your herds, and all that you have.

ואזון יתך תמן ארי עוד חמש שנין כפנא דלמא תתמסכן את ואנש ביתך וכל די לך:
wazwn ythk thmn ary ewd khmsh shnyn kpna dlma ththmskn ath wansh bythk wkl dy lk
There I will provide for you; for there are yet five years of famine; lest you come to poverty, you, and your household, and all that you have.”’

והא עיניכון חזן ועיני אחי בנימין ארי בלישנכון אנא ממלל עמכון:
wha eynykwn khzn weyny akhy bnymyn ary blyshnkwn ana mmll emkwn
Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.

ותחוון לאבא ית כל יקרי במצרים וית כל די חזיתון ותוחון ותחתון ית אבא הכא:
wthkhwwn laba yth kl yqry bmtsrym wyth kl dy khzythwn wthwkhwn wthkhthwn yth aba hka
You shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. You shall hurry and bring my father down here.”

ונפל על צוארי בנימן אחוהי ובכא ובנימן בכא על צואריה:
wnpl el tswary bnymn akhwhy wbka wbnymn bka el tswaryh
He fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck.
15
ונשק לכל אחוהי ובכא עליהון ובתר כן מלילו אחוהי עמיה:
wnshq lkl akhwhy wbka elyhwn wbthr kn mlylw akhwhy emyh
He kissed all his brothers, and wept on them. After that his brothers talked with him.
16
וקלא אשתמע לבית פרעה למימר עלו אחי יוסף ושפר בעיני פרעה ובעיני עבדוהי:
wqla ashthme lbyth preh lmymr elw akhy ywsp wshpr beyny preh wbeyny ebdwhy
The report of it was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, “Joseph’s brothers have come.” It pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.

ואמר פרעה ליוסף אמר לאחיך דא עיבידו טעונו ית בעירכון ואזילו אובילו לארעא דכנען:
wamr preh lywsp amr lakhyk da eybydw Tewnw yth beyrkwn wazylw awbylw larea dknen
Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Do this: Load your animals, and go, travel to the land of Canaan.

ודברו ית אבוכון וית אנש בתיכון ועולו לותי ואתן לכון ית טוב ארעא דמצרים ותיכלון ית טובא דארעא:
wdbrw yth abwkwn wyth ansh bthykwn wewlw lwthy wathn lkwn yth Twb area dmtsrym wthyklwn yth Twba darea
Take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.’
19
ואת מפקדא דא עיבידו סיבו לכון מארעא דמצרים עגלן לטפליכון ולנשיכון ותטלון ית אבוכון ותיתון:
wath mpqda da eybydw sybw lkwn marea dmtsrym egln lTplykwn wlnshykwn wthTlwn yth abwkwn wthythwn
Now you are commanded to do this: Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
20
ועינכון לא תחוס על מניכון ארי טב כל ארעא דמצרים דלכון הוא:
weynkwn la thkhws el mnykwn ary Tb kl area dmtsrym dlkwn hwa
Also, don’t concern yourselves about your belongings, for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours.”
21
ועבדו כן בני ישראל ויהב להון יוסף עגלן על מימר פרעה ויהב להון זודין לארחא:
webdw kn bny yshral wyhb lhwn ywsp egln el mymr preh wyhb lhwn zwdyn larkha
The sons of Israel did so. Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.

לכלהון יהב לגבר אצטלון דלבושא ולבנימן יהב תלת מאה סלעין דכסף וחמש אצטלון דלבושין:
lklhwn yhb lgbr atsTlwn dlbwsha wlbnymn yhb thlth mah sleyn dksp wkhmsh atsTlwn dlbwshyn
He gave each one of them changes of clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothing.

ולאבוהי שלח כדא עסרא חמרין טעינין מטובא דמצרים ועסר אתנן טעינן עיבור ולחם וזודין לאבוהי לארחא:
wlabwhy shlkh kda esra khmryn Teynyn mTwba dmtsrym wesr athnn Teynn eybwr wlkhm wzwdyn labwhy larkha
He sent the following to his father: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provision for his father by the way.

ושלח ית אחוהי ואזלו ואמר להון לא תתנצון בארחא:
wshlkh yth akhwhy wazlw wamr lhwn la ththntswn barkha
So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them, “See that you don’t quarrel on the way.”
25
וסליקו ממצרים ואתו לארעא דכנען לות יעקב אבוהון:
wslyqw mmtsrym wathw larea dknen lwth yeqb abwhwn
They went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan, to Jacob their father.
26
וחויאו ליה למימר עוד כען יוסף קים וארי הוא שליט בכל ארעא דמצרים והוו מליא פיגן על לביה ארי לא הימין להון:
wkhwyaw lyh lmymr ewd ken ywsp qym wary hwa shlyT bkl area dmtsrym whww mlya pygn el lbyh ary la hymyn lhwn
They told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” His heart fainted, for he didn’t believe them.

ומלילו עמיה ית כל פתגמי יוסף די מליל עמהון וחזא ית עגלתא דשלח יוסף למטל יתיה ושרת רוח נבואה לות יעקב אבוהון:
wmlylw emyh yth kl pthgmy ywsp dy mlyl emhwn wkhza yth egltha dshlkh ywsp lmTl ythyh wshrth rwkh nbwah lwth yeqb abwhwn
They told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them. When he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob, their father, revived.
28
ואמר ישראל סגי לי חדוא עד כען יוסף ברי קים אזיל ואחזניה עד לא אמות:
wamr yshral sgy ly khdwa ed ken ywsp bry qym azyl wakhznyh ed la amwth
Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”
