ܩܘܡܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܒܚܐܪܘܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܚܪܪܢ ܘܠܐ ܬܬܟܕܢܘܢ ܬܘܒ ܒܢܝܪܐ ܕܥܒܕܘܬܐ
debdwth' bnyr' thwb ththkdnwn wl' khrrn dmshykh' hy bkh'rwth' hkyl qwmw
Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܦܘܠܘܣ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܐܢ ܬܬܓܙܪܘܢ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܕܡ ܠܐ ܡܗܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ
lkwn mhn' l' mdm mshykh' ththgzrwn d'n lkwn 'n' 'mr pwlws 'n' h'
Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.

ܡܣܗܕ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܬܘܒ ܠܟܠ ܒܪܢܫ ܕܡܬܓܙܪ ܕܚܝܒ ܗܘ ܕܟܠܗ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܢܥܒܕ
nebd nmws' dklh hw dkhyb dmthgzr brnsh lkl thwb dyn 'n' mshd
Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

ܐܬܒܛܠܬܘܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܢܡܘܣܐ ܡܙܕܕܩܝܬܘܢ ܘܡܢ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܢܦܠܬܘܢ
nplthwn Tybwth' wmn mzddqythwn dbnmws' 'ylyn mshykh' mn lkwn 'thbTlthwn
You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

ܚܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܠܣܒܪܐ ܕܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ ܡܩܘܝܢܢ
mqwynn dzdyqwth' lsbr' hymnwth' dmn brwkh' gyr khnn
For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.

ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܓܝܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܐ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܡܕܡ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܘܠܐ ܥܘܪܠܘܬܐ ܐܠܐ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܡܬܓܡܪܐ ܒܚܘܒܐ
bkhwb' dmthgmr' hymnwth' 'l' ewrlwth' wl' 'ythyh mdm gzwrth' l' yshwe gyr bmshykh'
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

ܫܦܝܪ ܪܗܛܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܢܘ ܕܘܕܟܘܢ ܕܠܫܪܪܐ ܠܐ ܬܬܛܦܝܣܘܢ

You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?

ܦܝܣܟܘܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܗܘ ܕܩܪܟܘܢ
dqrkwn hw mn hw' l' pyskwn
This persuasion is not from him who calls you.

ܚܡܝܪܐ ܩܠܝܠ ܟܠܗ ܓܒܝܠܬܐ ܡܚܡܥ
mkhme gbylth' klh qlyl khmyr'
A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

ܐܢܐ ܬܟܝܠ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܒܡܪܢ ܕܡܕܡ ܐܚܪܝܢ ܠܐ ܡܬܪܥܝܬܘܢ ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܕܠܚ ܠܟܘܢ ܗܘ ܢܣܝܒܪܝܘܗܝ ܠܕܝܢܐ ܡܢ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ
d'ythwhy mn ldyn' nsybrywhy hw lkwn ddlkh w'yn' mthreythwn l' 'khryn dmdm bmrn elykwn 'n' thkyl 'n'
I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.

ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܚܝ ܐܠܘ ܥܕܟܝܠ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܡܟܪܙ ܗܘܝܬ ܠܡܢܐ ܡܬܪܕܦ ܗܘܝܬ ܕܠܡܐ ܐܬܒܛܠ ܠܗ ܟܫܠܗ ܕܙܩܝܦܐ
dzqyp' kshlh lh 'thbTl dlm' hwyth mthrdp lmn' hwyth mkrz gzwrth' edkyl 'lw 'khy dyn 'n'
But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.

ܐܫܬܘܦ ܕܝܢ ܐܦ ܡܦܣܩ ܢܦܣܩܘܢ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܕܠܚܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ
lkwn ddlkhyn hnwn npsqwn mpsq 'p dyn 'shthwp
I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.

ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܠܚܐܪܘܬܐ ܗܘ ܐܬܩܪܝܬܘܢ ܐܚܝ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܠܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܚܐܪܘܬܟܘܢ ܠܥܠܬ ܒܣܪܐ ܐܠܐ ܒܚܘܒܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܫܬܥܒܕܝܢ ܚܕ ܠܚܕ
lkhd khd mshthebdyn hwythwn bkhwb' 'l' bsr' lelth kh'rwthkwn thhw' l' blkhwd 'khy 'thqrythwn hw lkh'rwth' dyn 'nthwn
For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

ܟܠܗ ܓܝܪ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܒܚܕܐ ܡܠܬܐ ܡܬܡܠܐ ܒܗܝ ܕܬܚܒ ܠܩܪܝܒܟ ܐܝܟ ܢܦܫܟ

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܚܕ ܠܚܕ ܡܢܟܬܝܬܘܢ ܘܐܟܠܝܬܘܢ ܚܙܘ ܕܠܡܐ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܚܕ ܬܣܘܦܘܢ
thswpwn khd mn khd dlm' khzw w'klythwn mnkthythwn lkhd khd dyn 'n
But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another.

ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܒܪܘܚܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܗܠܟܝܢ ܘܪܓܬܐ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܠܐ ܡܢ ܡܬܘܡ ܬܥܒܕܘܢ
thebdwn mthwm mn l' dbsr' wrgth' mhlkyn hwythwn dbrwkh' dyn 'n' 'mr
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.

ܒܣܪܐ ܓܝܪ ܪܐܓ ܡܕܡ ܕܢܟܐ ܠܪܘܚܐ ܘܪܘܚܐ ܪܓܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܢܟܐ ܠܒܣܪܐ ܘܬܪܝܗܘܢ ܣܩܘܒܠܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܚܕ ܕܚܕ ܕܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܨܒܝܬܘܢ ܬܗܘܘܢ ܥܒܕܝܢ
ebdyn thhwwn dtsbythwn mdm dl' dkhd khd 'nwn sqwbl' wthryhwn lbsr' dnk' mdm rg' wrwkh' lrwkh' dnk' mdm r'g gyr bsr'
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܡܬܕܒܪܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܬܚܝܬ ܢܡܘܣܐ
nmws' thkhyth hwythwn l' 'nthwn mthdbryn brwkh' dyn 'n
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

ܝܕܝܥܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܥܒܕܘܗܝ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܙܢܝܘܬܐ ܛܢܦܘܬܐ ܨܚܢܘܬܐ
tskhnwth' Tnpwth' znywth' d'ythyhwn dbsr' ebdwhy gyr 'nwn ydyeyn
Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,

ܦܘܠܚܢܐ ܕܦܬܟܪܐ ܚܪܫܘܬܐ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܘܬܐ ܚܪܝܢܐ ܛܢܢܐ ܚܡܬܐ ܥܨܝܢܐ ܦܠܓܘܬܐ ܣܕܩܐ
sdq' plgwth' etsyn' khmth' Tnn' khryn' beldbbwth' khrshwth' dpthkr' pwlkhn'
idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

ܚܣܡܐ ܩܛܠܐ ܪܘܝܘܬܐ ܙܡܪܐ ܘܟܠ ܕܠܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܝܢ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܗܠܝܢ ܣܥܪܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܐܡܪܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܦ ܗܫܐ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܝܪܬܝܢ
yrthyn l' d'lh' dmlkwthh 'n' 'mr hsh' 'p lkwn 'mrth lwqdm dmn 'yk seryn dhlyn w'ylyn dmyn dlhlyn wkl zmr' rwywth' qTl' khsm'
envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

ܦܐܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܚܘܒܐ ܚܕܘܬܐ ܫܠܡܐ ܡܓܪܬ ܪܘܚܐ ܒܣܝܡܘܬܐ ܛܒܘܬܐ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ
hymnwth' Tbwth' bsymwth' rwkh' mgrth shlm' khdwth' khwb' 'ythyhwn drwkh' dyn p'r'
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

ܡܟܝܟܘܬܐ ܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܗܠܝܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܠܐ ܣܝܡ
sym l' nmws' hlyn el msybrnwth' mkykwth'
gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܣܪܗܘܢ ܙܩܦܘ ܥܡ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܐܒܘܗܝ ܘܪܓܝܓܬܗ
wrgygthh k'bwhy klhwn em zqpw bsrhwn 'nwn ddmshykh' dyn 'ylyn
Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

ܢܚܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܘܠܪܘܚܐ ܢܫܠܡ
nshlm wlrwkh' brwkh' hkyl nkh'
If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.
