ܩܘܡܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܒܚܐܪܘܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܚܪܪܢ ܘܠܐ ܬܬܟܕܢܘܢ ܬܘܒ ܒܢܝܪܐ ܕܥܒܕܘܬܐ
qwmw hkyl bkh'rwth' hy dmshykh' khrrn wl' ththkdnwn thwb bnyr' debdwth'
Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܦܘܠܘܣ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܐܢ ܬܬܓܙܪܘܢ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܕܡ ܠܐ ܡܗܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ

Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.

ܡܣܗܕ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܬܘܒ ܠܟܠ ܒܪܢܫ ܕܡܬܓܙܪ ܕܚܝܒ ܗܘ ܕܟܠܗ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܢܥܒܕ
mshd 'n' dyn thwb lkl brnsh dmthgzr dkhyb hw dklh nmws' nebd
Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

ܐܬܒܛܠܬܘܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܢܡܘܣܐ ܡܙܕܕܩܝܬܘܢ ܘܡܢ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܢܦܠܬܘܢ
'thbTlthwn lkwn mn mshykh' 'ylyn dbnmws' mzddqythwn wmn Tybwth' nplthwn
You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

ܚܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܠܣܒܪܐ ܕܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ ܡܩܘܝܢܢ
khnn gyr brwkh' dmn hymnwth' lsbr' dzdyqwth' mqwynn
For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.

ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܓܝܪ ܝܫܘܥ ܠܐ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܡܕܡ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܘܠܐ ܥܘܪܠܘܬܐ ܐܠܐ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܡܬܓܡܪܐ ܒܚܘܒܐ
bmshykh' gyr yshwe l' gzwrth' mdm 'ythyh wl' ewrlwth' 'l' hymnwth' dmthgmr' bkhwb'
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

ܫܦܝܪ ܪܗܛܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܢܘ ܕܘܕܟܘܢ ܕܠܫܪܪܐ ܠܐ ܬܬܛܦܝܣܘܢ

You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?

ܦܝܣܟܘܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܗܘ ܕܩܪܟܘܢ
pyskwn l' hw' mn hw dqrkwn
This persuasion is not from him who calls you.

ܚܡܝܪܐ ܩܠܝܠ ܟܠܗ ܓܒܝܠܬܐ ܡܚܡܥ
khmyr' qlyl klh gbylth' mkhme
A little yeast grows through the whole lump.

ܐܢܐ ܬܟܝܠ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܒܡܪܢ ܕܡܕܡ ܐܚܪܝܢ ܠܐ ܡܬܪܥܝܬܘܢ ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܕܠܚ ܠܟܘܢ ܗܘ ܢܣܝܒܪܝܘܗܝ ܠܕܝܢܐ ܡܢ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ
'n' thkyl 'n' elykwn bmrn dmdm 'khryn l' mthreythwn w'yn' ddlkh lkwn hw nsybrywhy ldyn' mn d'ythwhy
I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.

ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܚܝ ܐܠܘ ܥܕܟܝܠ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܡܟܪܙ ܗܘܝܬ ܠܡܢܐ ܡܬܪܕܦ ܗܘܝܬ ܕܠܡܐ ܐܬܒܛܠ ܠܗ ܟܫܠܗ ܕܙܩܝܦܐ
'n' dyn 'khy 'lw edkyl gzwrth' mkrz hwyth lmn' mthrdp hwyth dlm' 'thbTl lh kshlh dzqyp'
But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.

ܐܫܬܘܦ ܕܝܢ ܐܦ ܡܦܣܩ ܢܦܣܩܘܢ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܕܠܚܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ
'shthwp dyn 'p mpsq npsqwn hnwn ddlkhyn lkwn
I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.

ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܠܚܐܪܘܬܐ ܗܘ ܐܬܩܪܝܬܘܢ ܐܚܝ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܠܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܚܐܪܘܬܟܘܢ ܠܥܠܬ ܒܣܪܐ ܐܠܐ ܒܚܘܒܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܫܬܥܒܕܝܢ ܚܕ ܠܚܕ
'nthwn dyn lkh'rwth' hw 'thqrythwn 'khy blkhwd l' thhw' kh'rwthkwn lelth bsr' 'l' bkhwb' hwythwn mshthebdyn khd lkhd
For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

ܟܠܗ ܓܝܪ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܒܚܕܐ ܡܠܬܐ ܡܬܡܠܐ ܒܗܝ ܕܬܚܒ ܠܩܪܝܒܟ ܐܝܟ ܢܦܫܟ

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܚܕ ܠܚܕ ܡܢܟܬܝܬܘܢ ܘܐܟܠܝܬܘܢ ܚܙܘ ܕܠܡܐ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܚܕ ܬܣܘܦܘܢ
'n dyn khd lkhd mnkthythwn w'klythwn khzw dlm' khd mn khd thswpwn
But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another.

ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܒܪܘܚܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܗܠܟܝܢ ܘܪܓܬܐ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܠܐ ܡܢ ܡܬܘܡ ܬܥܒܕܘܢ
'mr 'n' dyn dbrwkh' hwythwn mhlkyn wrgth' dbsr' l' mn mthwm thebdwn
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.

ܒܣܪܐ ܓܝܪ ܪܐܓ ܡܕܡ ܕܢܟܐ ܠܪܘܚܐ ܘܪܘܚܐ ܪܓܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܢܟܐ ܠܒܣܪܐ ܘܬܪܝܗܘܢ ܣܩܘܒܠܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܚܕ ܕܚܕ ܕܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܨܒܝܬܘܢ ܬܗܘܘܢ ܥܒܕܝܢ
bsr' gyr r'g mdm dnk' lrwkh' wrwkh' rg' mdm dnk' lbsr' wthryhwn sqwbl' 'nwn khd dkhd dl' mdm dtsbythwn thhwwn ebdyn
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.

ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܡܬܕܒܪܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܬܚܝܬ ܢܡܘܣܐ
'n dyn brwkh' mthdbryn 'nthwn l' hwythwn thkhyth nmws'
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

ܝܕܝܥܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܥܒܕܘܗܝ ܕܒܣܪܐ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܙܢܝܘܬܐ ܛܢܦܘܬܐ ܨܚܢܘܬܐ
ydyeyn 'nwn gyr ebdwhy dbsr' d'ythyhwn znywth' Tnpwth' tskhnwth'
Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,

ܦܘܠܚܢܐ ܕܦܬܟܪܐ ܚܪܫܘܬܐ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܘܬܐ ܚܪܝܢܐ ܛܢܢܐ ܚܡܬܐ ܥܨܝܢܐ ܦܠܓܘܬܐ ܣܕܩܐ
pwlkhn' dpthkr' khrshwth' beldbbwth' khryn' Tnn' khmth' etsyn' plgwth' sdq'
idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

ܚܣܡܐ ܩܛܠܐ ܪܘܝܘܬܐ ܙܡܪܐ ܘܟܠ ܕܠܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܝܢ ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܗܠܝܢ ܣܥܪܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܐܡܪܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܦ ܗܫܐ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܝܪܬܝܢ
khsm' qTl' rwywth' zmr' wkl dlhlyn dmyn w'ylyn dhlyn seryn 'yk dmn lwqdm 'mrth lkwn 'p hsh' 'mr 'n' dmlkwthh d'lh' l' yrthyn
envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

ܦܐܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܚܘܒܐ ܚܕܘܬܐ ܫܠܡܐ ܡܓܪܬ ܪܘܚܐ ܒܣܝܡܘܬܐ ܛܒܘܬܐ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ
p'r' dyn drwkh' 'ythyhwn khwb' khdwth' shlm' mgrth rwkh' bsymwth' Tbwth' hymnwth'
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

ܡܟܝܟܘܬܐ ܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܗܠܝܢ ܢܡܘܣܐ ܠܐ ܣܝܡ
mkykwth' msybrnwth' el hlyn nmws' l' sym
gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܣܪܗܘܢ ܙܩܦܘ ܥܡ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܟܐܒܘܗܝ ܘܪܓܝܓܬܗ
'ylyn dyn ddmshykh' 'nwn bsrhwn zqpw em klhwn k'bwhy wrgygthh
Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

ܢܚܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܘܠܪܘܚܐ ܢܫܠܡ
nkh' hkyl brwkh' wlrwkh' nshlm
If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.

ܘܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܣܪܝܩܝ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܡܩܠܝܢ ܚܕ ܥܠ ܚܕ ܘܚܣܡܝܢ ܚܕ ܒܚܕ

Let’s not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.
