ܦܘܠܘܣ ܫܠܝܚܐ ܠܐ ܡܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܘܠܐ ܒܝܕ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܐܠܐ ܒܝܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܗܝ ܗܘ ܕܐܩܝܡܗ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ

Paul, an apostle (not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead),

ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܚܐ ܕܥܡܝ ܠܥܕܬܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܒܓܠܛܝܐ

and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:

ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܘܫܠܡܐ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
Tybwth' emkwn wshlm' mn 'lh' 'b' wmn mrn yshwe mshykh'
Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,

ܗܘ ܕܝܗܒ ܢܦܫܗ ܚܠܦ ܚܛܗܝܢ ܕܢܦܨܝܢ ܡܢ ܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܒܝܫܐ ܐܝܟ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܢ

who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father—

ܕܠܗ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ
dlh shwbkh' lelm elmyn 'myn
to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

ܡܬܕܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܒܥܓܠ ܡܬܗܦܟܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܘ ܕܩܪܟܘܢ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܠܐܚܪܬܐ ܣܒܪܬܐ
mthdmr 'n' 'ykn' begl mthhpkyn 'nthwn mn mshykh' hw dqrkwn bTybwthh l'khrth' sbrth'
I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”;

ܐܝܕܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܐܠܐ ܐܢܫܐ ܗܘ ܐܝܬ ܕܕܠܚܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܘܨܒܝܢ ܕܢܫܚܠܦܘܢ ܣܒܪܬܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ
'yd' dl' 'ythyh 'l' 'nsh' hw 'yth ddlkhyn lkwn wtsbyn dnshkhlpwn sbrthh dmshykh'
and there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.

ܐܦ ܐܢ ܚܢܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܘ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܢܣܒܪܟܘܢ ܠܒܪ ܡܢ ܡܐ ܕܣܒܪܢܟܘܢ ܢܗܘܐ ܚܪܡ
'p 'n khnn dyn 'w ml'k' mn shmy' nsbrkwn lbr mn m' dsbrnkwn nhw' khrm
But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.

ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܐܡܪܬ ܘܗܫܐ ܬܘܒ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܢ ܐܢܫ ܡܣܒܪ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܒܪ ܡܢ ܡܐ ܕܩܒܠܬܘܢ ܢܗܘܐ ܚܪܡ
'ykn' dmn lwqdm 'mrth whsh' thwb 'mr 'n' d'n 'nsh msbr lkwn lbr mn m' dqblthwn nhw' khrm
As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

ܗܫܐ ܓܝܪ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܗܘ ܡܦܝܣ ܐܢܐ ܐܘ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܐܘ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܒܥܐ ܐܢܐ ܕܐܫܦܪ ܐܠܘ ܓܝܪ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܗܫܐ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܫܦܪ ܗܘܝܬ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܗܘܝܬ
hsh' gyr lbnynsh' hw mpys 'n' 'w l'lh' 'w lbnynsh' be' 'n' d'shpr 'lw gyr edm' lhsh' lbnynsh' shpr hwyth ebd' dmshykh' l' hw' hwyth
For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.

ܡܘܕܥ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܚܝ ܕܣܒܪܬܐ ܕܐܣܬܒܪܬ ܡܢܝ ܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܡܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ
mwde 'n' lkwn dyn 'khy dsbrth' d'sthbrth mny l' hwth mn brnsh'
But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.

ܐܦܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܢܐ ܡܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܩܒܠܬܗ ܘܝܠܦܬܗ ܐܠܐ ܒܓܠܝܢܐ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ

For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

ܫܡܥܬܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܗܘܦܟܝ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܕܒܝܗܘܕܝܘܬܐ ܕܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܪܕܦ ܗܘܝܬ ܥܕܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܚܪܒ ܗܘܝܬ ܠܗ

For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God, and ravaged it.

ܘܡܬܝܬܪ ܗܘܝܬ ܒܝܗܘܕܝܘܬܐ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܒܢܝ ܫܢܝ ܕܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܒܛܘܗܡܝ ܘܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܛܐܢ ܗܘܝܬ ܒܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܕܐܒܗܝ

I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

ܟܕ ܨܒܐ ܕܝܢ ܗܘ ܡܢ ܕܦܪܫܢܝ ܡܢ ܟܪܣ ܐܡܝ ܘܩܪܢܝ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܗ

But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,

ܕܢܓܠܐ ܒܪܗ ܒܝ ܕܐܣܒܪܝܘܗܝ ܒܥܡܡܐ ܒܪ ܫܥܬܗ ܠܐ ܓܠܝܬ ܠܒܣܪܐ ܘܠܕܡܐ

to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,

ܘܠܐ ܐܙܠܬ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܠܘܬ ܫܠܝܚܐ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܐܠܐ ܐܙܠܬ ܠܐܪܒܝܐ ܘܬܘܒ ܗܦܟܬ ܠܕܪܡܣܘܩ

nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.

ܘܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܬܠܬ ܫܢܝܢ ܐܙܠܬ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܕܐܚܙܐ ܠܟܐܦܐ ܘܩܘܝܬ ܠܘܬܗ ܝܘܡܬܐ ܚܡܫܬܥܣܪ

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.

ܠܐܚܪܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܡܢ ܫܠܝܚܐ ܠܐ ܚܙܝܬ ܐܠܐ ܐܢ ܠܝܥܩܘܒ ܐܚܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܢ

But of the other apostles I saw no one, except James, the Lord’s brother.

ܗܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܟܬܒ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܗܐ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܟܕܒ ܐܢܐ

Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.

ܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܬܝܬ ܠܐܬܪܘܬܐ ܕܣܘܪܝܐ ܘܕܩܝܠܝܩܝܐ

Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

ܘܠܐ ܝܕܥܢ ܗܘܝ ܠܝ ܒܐܦܝܢ ܥܕܬܐ ܕܒܝܗܘܕ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܒܡܫܝܚܐ

I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,

ܐܠܐ ܗܕܐ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܫܡܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܕܗܘ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܪܕܦ ܗܘܐ ܠܢ ܗܫܐ ܗܐ ܡܣܒܪ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܙܒܢܐ ܡܣܚܦ ܗܘܐ
'l' hd' blkhwd shmeyn hww dhw dmn qdym rdp hw' ln hsh' h' msbr hymnwth' hy dmn qdm zbn' mskhp hw'
but they only heard: “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”
