ܒܫܢܬ ܚܕܐ ܠܟܘܪܫ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܦܪܣ ܠܫܘܠܡ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܢ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܐܪܡܝܐ ܢܒܝܐ ܐܥܝܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܪܘܚܗ ܕܡܠܟܐ ܕܦܪܣ ܘܐܥܒܪ ܩܠܐ ܒܟܠܗ̇ ܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܘܐܦ ܒܟܬܒܐ ܐܡܪ

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that Yahweh’s word by Jeremiah’s mouth might be accomplished, Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܟܘܪܫ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܦܪܣ ܡܠܟܘ̈ܬܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܝܗܒ ܠܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܫܡܝܐ ܘܦܩܕ ܥܠܝ ܠܡܒܢܐ ܠܗ ܒܝܬܐ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܩܪܝܬܐ ܕܒܝܗܘܕ

“Cyrus king of Persia says, ‘Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

ܡܢܘ ܐܝܬ ܒܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܘܠܗ ܥܡܗ ܘܗܘ ܐܠܗܗ ܥܡܗ ܢܣܩ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܕܒܝܗܘܕ ܘܢܒܢܐ ܒܝܬܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܗ̇ܘ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ
mnw 'yth bkwn mn kwlh emh whw 'lhh emh nsq l'wrshlm dbyhwd wnbn' byth' lmry' 'lh' d'ysryl hw 'lh' db'wrshlm
Whoever there is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Yahweh, the God of Israel (he is God), which is in Jerusalem.

ܟܠ ܕܝܬܝܪ ܡܢ ܟܘܠ ܐܬܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܕܗܘܐ ܬܘܬܒܐ ܬܡܢ ܢܫܩܠܘܢܗ ܐܢ̈ܫܝ ܐܬܪܗ ܒܟܣܦܐ ܘܒܕܗܒܐ ܘܒܩܢܝܢܐ ܘܒܒܥܝܪܐ ܥܡ ܦܘܪܫܢܐ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ
kl dythyr mn kwl 'thrwth' dhw' thwthb' thmn nshqlwnh 'nshy 'thrh bksp' wbdhb' wbqnyn' wbbeyr' em pwrshn' lbyth' d'lh' db'wrshlm
Whoever is left, in any place where he lives, let the men of his place help him with silver, with gold, with goods, and with animals, in addition to the free will offering for God’s house which is in Jerusalem.’”

ܘܩܡܘ ܪ̈ܝܫܝ ܐܒܗ̈ܬܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܘܕܒܢܝܡܝܢ ܘܟܘܡܪ̈ܐ ܘܠܘ̈ܝܐ ܘܟܠ ܕܐܥܝܪ ܐܠܗܐ ܪܘܚܗ ܠܡܣܩ ܠܡܒܢܐ ܒܝܬܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ

Then the heads of fathers’ households of Judah and Benjamin, the priests and the Levites, all whose spirit God had stirred to go up, rose up to build Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem.

ܘܟܠ ܕܚܕܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܐܚܕܘ ܒܐܝܕ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܒܡ̈ܐܢܝ ܟܣܦܐ ܘܕܗܒܐ ܘܩܢܝܢܐ ܘܒܥܝܪܐ ܘܡܘܗ̈ܒܬܐ ܕܛܒ ܡܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܨܛܒܝܘ
wkl dkhdryhwn 'khdw b'ydyhwn bm'ny ksp' wdhb' wqnyn' wbeyr' wmwhbth' dTb mn 'ylyn d'tsTbyw
All those who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, with animals, and with precious things, in addition to all that was willingly offered.

ܘܡܠܟܐ ܟܘܪܫ ܐܦܩ ܡܐ̈ܢܝ ܒܝܬܐ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܕܐܦܩ ܗܘܐ ܢܒܘܟܕܢܨܪ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܒܒܠ ܡܢ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܘܝܗܒ ܗܘܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܝܬ ܐܠܗܘܬܗ
wmlk' kwrsh 'pq m'ny byth' dmry' d'pq hw' nbwkdntsr mlk' dbbl mn 'wrshlm wyhb hw' 'nwn byth 'lhwthh
Also Cyrus the king brought out the vessels of Yahweh’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out of Jerusalem, and had put in the house of his gods;

ܘܐܦܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܟܘܪܫ ܡܠܟܐ ܕܦܪܣ ܥܠ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܡܗܪܕܬ ܓܙܒܪܐ ܘܐܫܠܡ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܫܫܡܨܪ ܪܒܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ

even those, Cyrus king of Persia brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.

ܘܗܠܝܢ ܡܢܝ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ ܐܓ̈ܢܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܐܓ̈ܢܐ ܕܟܣܦܐ ܐܠܦ ܐܣ̈ܛܠܐ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܘܬܫܥ

This is the number of them: thirty platters of gold, one thousand platters of silver, twenty-nine knives,

ܦ̈ܛܩܐ ܕܟܣܦܐ ܐܥ̈ܝܦܐ ܐܪܒܥܡܐܐ ܘܥܣܪܐ ܬܘܒ ܦܛܩ̈ܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܘܡܐ̈ܢܐ ܐܚܪ̈ܢܐ ܐܠܦ

thirty bowls of gold, four hundred ten silver bowls of a second kind, and one thousand other vessels.

ܟܘܠ ܡܐ̈ܢܐ ܕܕܗܒܐ ܘܕܣܐܡܐ ܚܡܫܐ ܐ̈ܠܦܝܢ ܘܐܪܒܥܡܐܐ ܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܐܣܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܫܫܡܨܪ ܥܡ ܡܣܩܢܐ ܕܫܒܝܬܐ ܕܣܠܩܬ ܡܢ ܒܒܠ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ
kwl m'n' ddhb' wds'm' khmsh' 'lpyn w'rbem'' kwlhwn 'sq 'nwn shshmtsr em msqn' dshbyth' dslqth mn bbl l'wrshlm
All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought all these up when the captives were brought up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
