ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܐܡܪ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܡܛܝ ܩܨܐ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܡܛܝ ܣܘܦܐ ܥܠ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܟܢ̈ܦܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ
d're' knpyh 'rbe el swp' wmTy d'ysryl 're' el qts' mTy mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' 'mr brnsh' dyn 'nth
“You, son of man, the Lord Yahweh says to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land.

ܡܟܝܠ ܩܨܐ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܘܐܫܘܕ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܘܐܕܘܢܟܝ ܐܝܟ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܟܝ ܘܐܝܬܐ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܟܠܗ̇ ܛܢܦܘܬܟܝ
Tnpwthky klh elyky w'yth' 'wrkhthky 'yk w'dwnky rwgzy elyky w'shwd elyky qts' mkyl
Now the end is on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.

ܘܠܐ ܬܚܘܣ ܥܝܢܝ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܪܚܡ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܟܝ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܐܬܠ ܘܛܢ̈ܦܘܬܟܝ ܒܓܘܟܝ ܢܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܘܬܕܥܝܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'n' d'n' wthdeyn nhwyn bgwky wTnpwthky 'thl elyky d'wrkhthky mTl 'rkhm wl' elyky eyny thkhws wl'
My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܐܬ̇ܝܐ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܚܠܦ ܒܝܫܬܐ

“The Lord Yahweh says: ‘A disaster! A unique disaster! Behold, it comes.

ܩܨܐ ܐܬ̇ܐ ܘܐܥܝܩ ܥܠܝܟܝ
elyky w'eyq 'th' qts'
An end has come. The end has come! It awakes against you. Behold, it comes.

ܘܐܬ̇ܐ ܨܦܪܝܐ ܥܡܘܪܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܡܛܝ ܙܒܢܐ ܘܩܪܒ ܝܘܡܐ ܕܕܠܘܚܝܐ
ddlwkhy' ywm' wqrb zbn' mTy elyky d're' emwr' tspry' w'th'
Your doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land! The time has come! The day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains.

ܡܟܝܠ ܡܢ ܩܘܪܒܐ ܐܫܘܕ ܚܡܬܝ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܘܐܫܘܕ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܘܐܕܘܢܟܝ ܐܝܟ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܟܝ ܘܐܬܠ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܟܠܗ̇ ܛܢܦܘܬܟܝ
Tnpwthky klh elyky w'thl 'wrkhthky 'yk w'dwnky elyky rwgzy w'shwd elyky khmthy 'shwd qwrb' mn mkyl
Now I will shortly pour out my wrath on you, and accomplish my anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.

ܘܠܐ ܬܚܘܣ ܥܝܢܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܪܚܡ ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܟܝ ܐܦܪܥܟܝ ܘܛܢܦܘܬܟܝ ܒܓܘܟܝ ܬܗܘܐ ܘܬܕܥܝܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܡܚܟܝ
dmkhky mry' 'n' d'n' wthdeyn thhw' bgwky wTnpwthky 'preky 'wrkhthky 'yk 'l' 'rkhm wl' eyny thkhws wl'
My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways. Your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, strike.

ܗܐ ܝܘܡܐ ܐܬ̣ܐ ܢܦܩ ܨܦܪܝܐ ܘܒܠܨ ܚܘܛܪܐ ܘܦܪܥ ܨܥܪܐ
tser' wpre khwTr' wblts tspry' npq 'th' ywm' h'
“‘Behold, the day! Behold, it comes! Your doom has gone out. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded.

ܘܥܘ̣ܠܐ ܩܡ ܥܠ ܚܘܛܪܗ ܕܥܘ̇ܠܐ ܠܐ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܡܢ ܕܠܘܚܝܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܡܢ ܡܥܒܕܢܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܐܬܢܝܚ ܒܗܘܢ
bhwn 'thnykh wl' mebdnwthhwn mn wl' dlwkhyhwn mn wl' mnhwn l' dewl' khwTrh el qm wewl'
Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness. None of them will remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth. There will be nothing of value among them.

ܡܛܝ ܙܒܢܐ ܘܩܪܒ ܝܘܡܐ ܕܩܢ̇ܐ ܠܐ ܢܚܕܐ ܘܕܡܙܒܢ ܠܐ ܬܟܪܐ ܠܗ ܡܛܠ ܕܪܘܓܙܐ ܥܠ ܟܠܗ ܩܢܝܢܗܘܢ
qnynhwn klh el drwgz' mTl lh thkr' l' wdmzbn nkhd' l' dqn' ywm' wqrb zbn' mTy
The time has come! The day draws near. Don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude.

ܘܙܒܘܢܐ ܠܐ ܗܦ̇ܟ ܥܠ ܡܙܒܢܢܐ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܝܬ ܚ̈ܝܐ ܒܚܝ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܚܙܘܐ ܠܐ ܢܗܦܘܟ ܥܠ ܟܠܗ ܩܢܝܢܗܘܢ ܘܓܒܪܐ ܒܥܘ̣ܠܗ ܠܐ ܢܚܡܣܢ ܚܝ̈ܘܗܝ
khywhy nkhmsn l' bewlh wgbr' qnynhwn klh el nhpwk l' dkhzw' mTl bkhyyhwn khy' lyth wthwb mzbnn' el hpk l' wzbwn'
For the seller won’t return to that which is sold, although they are still alive; for the vision concerns the whole multitude of it. None will return. None will strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.

ܩܪܘ ܒܩܪܢܐ ܘܛܝܒܘ ܟܠ ܘܠܝܬ ܕܐܙ̇ܠ ܠܩܪܒܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܪܘܓܙܝ ܥܠ ܟܠܗ ܩܢܝܢܗܘܢ
qnynhwn klh el drwgzy mTl lqrb' d'zl wlyth kl wTybw bqrn' qrw
They have blown the trumpet, and have made all ready; but no one goes to the battle, for my wrath is on all its multitude.

ܚܪܒܐ ܒܫ̈ܘܩܐ ܘܡܘܬܢܐ ܘܟܦܢܐ ܒܒܝܬܐ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܒܕܒܪܐ ܗܘ ܢܡܘܬ ܒܚܪܒܐ ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܒܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܗܘ ܟܦܢܐ ܘܡܘܬܢܐ ܢܐܟܠܝܘܗܝ
n'klywhy wmwthn' kpn' hw dbmdynth' w'yn' bkhrb' nmwth hw dbdbr' 'yn' bbyth' wkpn' wmwthn' bshwq' khrb'
“‘The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within. He who is in the field will die by the sword. He who is in the city will be devoured by famine and pestilence.

ܘܢܬܦܨܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܬܦܨܝܢ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܒܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܐܝܟ ܝ̈ܘܢܐ ܒ̈ܓܕܢܦܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܢܡܘܬܘܢ ܐܢܫ ܒܚ̈ܛܗܘܗܝ
bkhThwhy 'nsh nmwthwn klhwn bgdnp' ywn' 'yk bTwr' mnhwn dmthptsyn 'ylyn wnthptswn
But of those who escape, they will escape and will be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, everyone in his iniquity.

ܟܠܗܝܢ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܐ ܢܬܪ̈ܫܠܢ ܘܟܠܗܝܢ ܒܘܪ̈ܟܐ ܢܪ̈ܕܝܢ ܡ̈ܝܐ
my' nrdyn bwrk' wklhyn nthrshln 'ydy' klhyn
All hands will be feeble, and all knees will be weak as water.

ܘܢܬܟܒܢܘܢ ܣ̈ܩܐ ܘܢܟܣܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܨܘܪ̈ܢܐ ܒܗܬܬܐ ܒܟܘܠ ܐ̈ܦܝܗܘܢ ܘܩܘܕܚ̈ܬܐ ܒܟܘܠ ܪ̈ܝܫܝܗܘܢ
ryshyhwn bkwl wqwdkhth' 'pyhwn bkwl bhthth' tswrn' 'nwn wnkswn sq' wnthkbnwn
They will also clothe themselves with sackcloth, and horror will cover them. Shame will be on all faces, and baldness on all their heads.

ܣܐܡܗܘܢ ܒܫܘ̈ܩܐ ܢܫܕܘܢ ܘܕܗܒܗܘܢ ܡܣܠܝܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܣܐܡܗܘܢ ܘܕܗܒܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܢܫܟܚ ܠܡܦܨܝܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܪܘܓܙܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܢܦܫ̈ܬܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܢܣ̇ܒܥܘܢ ܘܟܪ̈ܣܬܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܢܡܠܘܢ ܗܢܐ ܫܘܢܩܐ ܦܘܪܥܢܐ ܕܥܘ̣ܠܗܘܢ
dewlhwn pwren' shwnq' hn' nmlwn l' wkrsthhwn nsbewn l' npshthhwn dmry' drwgzh bywm' 'nwn lmptsyw nshkkh l' wdhbhwn s'mhwn nhw' msly' wdhbhwn nshdwn bshwq' s'mhwn
They will cast their silver in the streets, and their gold will be as an unclean thing. Their silver and their gold won’t be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh’s wrath. They won’t satisfy their souls or fill their bellies; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.

ܘܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܨܒܬܗܘܢ ܕܥܒܕܘ ܒܓܐܝܘܬܐ ܠܨ̈ܠܡܐ ܕܛܢ̈ܦܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܕܕܚ̈ܠܬܗܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܥܒ̇ܕܬܗ ܡܣܠܝܐ
msly' ebdthh hn' mTl wddkhlthhwn dTnpwthhwn ltslm' bg'ywth' debdw dtsbthhwn wshwbkh'
As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein. Therefore I have made it to them as an unclean thing.

ܘܐܬܠܝܘܗܝ ܒܐܝܕܐ ܕܢܘܟܪ̈ܝܐ ܠܒܙܬܐ ܘܠܚ̈ܛܝܝܗ̇ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܠܫܒܝܬܐ ܘܢܛܘܫܘܢܗ
wnTwshwnh lshbyth' d're' wlkhTyyh lbzth' dnwkry' b'yd' w'thlywhy
I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a plunder; and they will profane it.

ܘܐܦܢܐ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܘܢܛܘܫܘܢ ܕܘ̈ܩܝ ܘܢܥܠܘܢ ܒܗ̇ ܬܪ̈ܘܥܐ ܘܢܛܘܫܘܢܗ̇
wnTwshwnh thrwe' bh wnelwn dwqy wnTwshwn mnhwn 'py w'pn'
I will also turn my face from them, and they will profane my secret place. Robbers will enter into it, and profane it.

ܘܢܥܒܪܘܢ ܒ̈ܠܒܢܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܐܬܡܠܝܬ ܕܝܢܐ ܕܕܡܐ ܘܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܐܬܡܠܝܬ ܥܘ̣ܠܐ
ewl' 'thmlyth wmdynth' ddm' dyn' 'thmlyth d're' mTl blbn' wnebrwn
“‘Make chains, for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

ܘܐܝܬܐ ܪ̈ܥܘܬܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܢܐܪܬܘܢ ܒܬ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܘܐܗܦܟ ܓܐܝܘܬܐ ܕܥܫܝ̈ܢܐ ܘܢܐܪܬܘܢ ܡܩܕܫܗܘܢ
mqdshhwn wn'rthwn deshyn' g'ywth' w'hpk bthyhwn wn'rthwn demm' rewth' w'yth'
Therefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong to cease. Their holy places will be profaned.

ܪܘܓܙܐ ܐܬ̇ܐ ܘܢܒܥܘܢ ܫܠܡܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܫܬܟܚ
nshthkkh wl' shlm' wnbewn 'th' rwgz'
Destruction comes! They will seek peace, and there will be none.

ܘܝܐ ܥܠ ܘܝܐ ܢܐܬܐ ܘܫܡܘܥܬܐ ܥܠ ܫܡܘܥܬܐ ܬܫܬܡܥ ܘܢܒܥܘܢ ܚܙܘܐ ܡܢ ܢܒ̈ܝܐ ܘܢܡܘܣܐ ܢܐܒܕ ܡܢ ܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܘܡܠ̣ܟܐ ܡܢ ܣ̈ܒܐ
sb' mn wmlk' khn' mn n'bd wnmws' nby' mn khzw' wnbewn thshthme shmweth' el wshmweth' n'th' wy' el wy'
Mischief will come on mischief, and rumor will be on rumor. They will seek a vision of the prophet; but the law will perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.

ܡ̇ܠܟܐ ܢܬܒ ܒܐܒܠܐ ܘܪܒܐ ܢܠܒܫ ܚܒܠܐ ܘܐ̈ܝܕܘܗܝ ܕܥܡܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܢܬܪ̈ܫܠܢ ܐܝܟ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܗܘܢ ܐܥܒܕ ܠܗܘܢ ܘܒܕܝܢ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܐܕܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'n' d'n' wndewn 'nwn 'dwn wbdynyhwn lhwn 'ebd 'wrkhthhwn 'yk nthrshln d're' dem' w'ydwhy khbl' nlbsh wrb' b'bl' nthb mlk'
The king will mourn, and the prince will be clothed with desolation. The hands of the people of the land will be troubled. I will do to them after their way, and according to their own judgments I will judge them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
