והוה פתגם נבואה מן קדם יי עמי למימר:
lmymr emy yy qdm mn nbwah pthgm whwh
Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

בר אדם קבל נבואה על טורי ישראל ואתנבי עליהון:
elyhwn wathnby yshral Twry el nbwah qbl adm br
“Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy to them,

ותימר טורי ישראל קבילו פתגמא דיי אלהים כדנן אמר יי אלהים לטוריא ולרמתא ולפצידיא ולחיליא הא אנא מיתי עליכון דקטלין בחרבא ואוביד במתיכון:
bmthykwn wawbyd bkhrba dqTlyn elykwn mythy ana ha wlkhylya wlptsydya wlrmtha lTwrya alhym yy amr kdnn alhym dyy pthgma qbylw yshral Twry wthymr
and say, ‘You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys: “Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places.

ויצדון אגוריכון ויתברון חניסנסיכון וארמי קטיליכון קדם פגור טעותכון:
Tewthkwn pgwr qdm qTylykwn warmy khnysnsykwn wythbrwn agwrykwn wytsdwn
Your altars will become desolate, and your incense altars will be broken. I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

ואתן ית פגרי בני ישראל קדם פגור טעותהון ואבדר ית גרמיכון סחרנות אגוריכון:
agwrykwn skhrnwth grmykwn yth wabdr Tewthhwn pgwr qdm yshral bny pgry yth wathn
I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols. I will scatter your bones around your altars.

בכל מותבניכון קרויא יחרבן ובמתא יצדין בדיל דיחרבון ויצדון אגוריכון ויתברן ויבטלן טעותכון ויתקטפון חנסנסיכון ויתמחון עובדיכון:
ewbdykwn wythmkhwn khnsnsykwn wythqTpwn Tewthkwn wybTln wythbrn agwrykwn wytsdwn dykhrbwn bdyl ytsdyn wbmtha ykhrbn qrwya mwthbnykwn bkl
In all your dwelling places, the cities will be laid waste and the high places will be desolate, so that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

ויתרמון קטילין ביניכון ותדעון ארי אנא יי:
yy ana ary wthdewn bynykwn qTylyn wythrmwn
The slain will fall among you, and you will know that I am Yahweh.
8
ואשאר במהוי לכון משזבי חרבא ביני עממיא באתבדרותיכון במדינתא:
bmdyntha bathbdrwthykwn emmya byny khrba mshzby lkwn bmhwy washar
“‘“Yet I will leave a remnant, in that you will have some that escape the sword among the nations, when you are scattered through the countries.

וידכרון משיזביכון דחלתי ביני עממיא דאשתביאו לתמן דתברית ית לבהון טפשא דסטא מבתר פולחני וית חיזו עיניהון דטעא בתר טעותהון וידנקון ויהון חזן על בישתא דעבדו לכל תועבתהון:
thwebthhwn lkl debdw byshtha el khzn wyhwn wydnqwn Tewthhwn bthr dTea eynyhwn khyzw wyth pwlkhny mbthr dsTa Tpsha lbhwn yth dthbryth lthmn dashthbyaw emmya byny dkhlthy mshyzbykwn wydkrwn
Those of you that escape will remember me among the nations where they are carried captive, how I have been broken with their lewd heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which play the prostitute after their idols. Then they will loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

וידעון ארי אנא יי לא למגן גזרית במימרי למעבד להון בישתא הדא:
hda byshtha lhwn lmebd bmymry gzryth lmgn la yy ana ary wydewn
They will know that I am Yahweh. I have not said in vain that I would do this evil to them.”’

כדנן אמר יי אלהים טפח בידך ורפוס ברגלך ואמר וי על כל תועבתא בישתא בית ישראל די בחרבא בכפנא ובמותא יתרמון:
ythrmwn wbmwtha bkpna bkhrba dy yshral byth byshtha thwebtha kl el wy wamr brglk wrpws bydk Tpkh alhym yy amr kdnn
“The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, “Alas!”, because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they will fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

דרחיק במותא ימות ודקריב בחרבא יתקטיל ודישתאר ודיעול לכרכי צירא בכפנא ימות ויחול רוגזי בהון:
bhwn rwgzy wykhwl ymwth bkpna tsyra lkrky wdyewl wdyshthar ythqTyl bkhrba wdqryb ymwth bmwtha drkhyq
He who is far off will die of the pestilence. He who is near will fall by the sword. He who remains and is besieged will die by the famine. Thus I will accomplish my wrath on them.

ותדעון ארי אנא יי במהוי קטיליהון בגו פגור טעותהון סחרנות אגוריהון על כל רמא מנטלא בכל רישי טוריא תחות כל אילן עבוף ותחות כל בוטמא מעפיא אתר דיהבו תמן קורבנין לפולחן לכל טעותהון:
Tewthhwn lkl lpwlkhn qwrbnyn thmn dyhbw athr mepya bwTma kl wthkhwth ebwp ayln kl thkhwth Twrya ryshy bkl mnTla rma kl el agwryhwn skhrnwth Tewthhwn pgwr bgw qTylyhwn bmhwy yy ana ary wthdewn
You will know that I am Yahweh when their slain men are among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, under every green tree, and under every thick oak—the places where they offered pleasant aroma to all their idols.

וארים ית מחת גבורתי עליהון ואתן ית ארעא לצדו ואשתממו ממדבר דבלת בכל מותבניהון וידעון ארי אנא יי:
yy ana ary wydewn mwthbnyhwn bkl dblth mmdbr washthmmw ltsdw area yth wathn elyhwn gbwrthy mkhth yth warym
I will stretch out my hand on them and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness toward Diblah, throughout all their habitations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
