ואת בר אדם סב לך אבנא ותתן יתה קדמך ותצור עלה קרתא ית ירושלם:
yrwshlm yth qrtha elh wthtswr qdmk ythh wththn abna lk sb adm br wath
“You also, son of man, take a tile, and lay it before yourself, and portray on it a city, even Jerusalem.

ותתן עלה ציר ותבני עלה מליתא ותשרי עלה משרין ומני עלה אפדורון סחור סחור:
skhwr skhwr apdwrwn elh wmny mshryn elh wthshry mlytha elh wthbny tsyr elh wththn
Lay siege against it, build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it. Also set camps against it and plant battering rams against it all around.

ואת סב לך מסרית ברזל ותתן יתה כותל ברזל בינך ובין קרתא ותתקן ית אפך לה ותהי בצירא ותצור עלה את היא לבית ישראל:
yshral lbyth hya ath elh wthtswr btsyra wthhy lh apk yth wththqn qrtha wbyn bynk brzl kwthl ythh wththn brzl msryth lk sb wath
Take for yourself an iron pan and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city. Then set your face toward it. It will be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

ואת שכוב על סטרך דסמלא ותשוי ית חובי בית ישראל עלוהי מנין יומיא דתשכוב עלוהי תקבל ית חוביהון:
khwbyhwn yth thqbl elwhy dthshkwb ywmya mnyn elwhy yshral byth khwby yth wthshwy dsmla sTrk el shkwb wath
“Moreover lie on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. According to the number of the days that you shall lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.

ואנא יהבית לך על חד תרין בחוביהון למנין יומיא תלת מאה ותשעין יומין ותקביל חובי בית ישראל:
yshral byth khwby wthqbyl ywmyn wthsheyn mah thlth ywmya lmnyn bkhwbyhwn thryn khd el lk yhbyth wana
For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be to you a number of days, even three hundred ninety days. So you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

ותשלים ית אלין ותשכוב על סטרך דימינא תנינות ותקביל ית חובי בית יהודה ארבעין יומין יומא לשתא יומא לשתא יהבתינון לך:
lk yhbthynwn lshtha ywma lshtha ywma ywmyn arbeyn yhwdh byth khwby yth wthqbyl thnynwth dymyna sTrk el wthshkwb alyn yth wthshlym
“Again, when you have accomplished these, you shall lie on your right side, and shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah. I have appointed forty days, each day for a year, to you.

ולציר ירושלם תתקין אפך ודרעך תתקיף ותתנבי עלה:
elh wththnby ththqyp wdrek apk ththqyn yrwshlm wltsyr
You shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered; and you shall prophesy against it.

והא גזרית פתגמי עלך כאסור גדילן ולא תתהפיך מסטרך לסטרך עד אשלמותך יומי צירך:
tsyrk ywmy ashlmwthk ed lsTrk msTrk ththhpyk wla gdyln kaswr elk pthgmy gzryth wha
Behold, I put ropes on you, and you shall not turn yourself from one side to the other, until you have accomplished the days of your siege.

ואת סב לך חטין וסעורין ופולא וטלופחין ודוחן וכונתין ותתן יתהון לך למיכל מנין יומיא דאת שכיב על סטרך תלת מאה ותשעין יומין תיכליניה:
thyklynyh ywmyn wthsheyn mah thlth sTrk el shkyb dath ywmya mnyn lmykl lk ythhwn wththn wkwnthyn wdwkhn wTlwpkhyn wpwla wsewryn khTyn lk sb wath
“Take for yourself also wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel. Make bread of it. According to the number of the days that you will lie on your side, even three hundred ninety days, you shall eat of it.

ומיכלך דתיכליניה במתקל עסרין פילס ליום מעדן עד עדן תיכליניה:
thyklynyh edn ed medn lywm pyls esryn bmthql dthyklynyh wmyklk
Your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day. From time to time you shall eat it.

ומיא במכילא תשתי חד מן שתא בהינא מעדן עד עדן תשתי:
thshthy edn ed medn bhyna shtha mn khd thshthy bmkyla wmya
You shall drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin. From time to time you shall drink.

וחררא דלחם שעורין תיכלינה והיא על גלי מפקת אנשא תחררינה לעיניהון:
leynyhwn thkhrrynh ansha mpqth gly el whya thyklynh shewryn dlkhm wkhrra
You shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man.”

ואמר יי כדין ייכלון בני ישראל ית מיכלהון מסאב ביני עממיא דאגלינון לתמן:
lthmn daglynwn emmya byny msab myklhwn yth yshral bny yyklwn kdyn yy wamr
Yahweh said, “Even thus will the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.”

ואמרית קביל בעותי יי אלהים הא נפשי לא מסאבא ונבילא ותבירא לא אכלית מזעורי ועד כען ולא אכלית בסר מרחק:
mrkhq bsr aklyth wla ken wed mzewry aklyth la wthbyra wnbyla msaba la npshy ha alhym yy bewthy qbyl wamryth
Then I said, “Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals. No abominable meat has come into my mouth!”

ואמר לי חזי דיהבית לך ית גלי תוריא חלף גלי אנשא ותעביד ית מיכלך עליהון:
elyhwn myklk yth wthebyd ansha gly khlp thwrya gly yth lk dyhbyth khzy ly wamr
Then he said to me, “Behold, I have given you cow’s dung for man’s dung, and you shall prepare your bread on it.”

ואמר לי בר אדם הא אנא תבר סעיד מיכלא בירושלם ויכלון לחמא במתקל וביצפא ומיא בצדו ובאשתממו ישתון:
yshthwn wbashthmmw btsdw wmya wbytspa bmthql lkhma wyklwn byrwshlm mykla seyd thbr ana ha adm br ly wamr
Moreover he said to me, “Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem. They will eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness. They will drink water by measure, and in dismay;
