ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܣܒ ܠܟ ܠܒܬܐ ܘܣܝܡܝܗ̇ ܩܕܡܝܟ ܘܪܫܘܡ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܐܘܪܫܠܡ
'wrshlm mdynth' elyh wrshwm qdmyk wsymyh lbth' lk sb brnsh' dyn 'nth
“You also, son of man, take a tile, and lay it before yourself, and portray on it a city, even Jerusalem.

ܘܥܒܕ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܐܘܠܨܢܐ ܘܒܢܝ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܩ̈ܠܩܘܡܐ ܘܐܟܡܢ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܟܡܐ̈ܢܐ ܘܐܫܪܐ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܡܫܪ̈ܝܬܐ ܘܥܒܕ ܠܗ̇ ܙܘܝ̈ܕܢܐ ܟܕ ܚ̇ܕܪܐ
khdr' kd zwydn' lh webd mshryth' elyh w'shr' km'n' elyh w'kmn qlqwm' elyh wbny 'wltsn' elyh webd
Lay siege against it, build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it. Also set camps against it and plant battering rams against it all around.

ܘܐܢܬ ܣܒ ܠܟ ܛܓܢܐ ܕܦܪܙܠܐ ܘܥܒܕܝܗܝ ܐܣܬܐ ܕܦܪܙܠܐ ܒܝܢ̈ܝܟ ܠܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܘܛܝܒ ܐ̈ܦܝܟ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܘܬܗܘܐ ܒܚܒܘܫܝܐ ܘܬܐܠܨܝܗ̇ ܗܕܐ ܐܬܐ ܗܝ ܠܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ
'ysryl ldbyth hy 'th' hd' wth'ltsyh bkhbwshy' wthhw' elyh 'pyk wTyb lmdynth' bynyk dprzl' 'sth' webdyhy dprzl' Tgn' lk sb w'nth
Take for yourself an iron pan and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city. Then set your face toward it. It will be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

ܘܐܢܬ ܕܡܟ ܥܠ ܣܛܪܟ ܕܣܡܠܐ ܘܣܝܡ ܥܘ̣ܠܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܡܢܝܢ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܕܕܡ̇ܟ ܐܢܬ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܬܫܩܘܠ ܥܘ̣ܠܗܘܢ

“Moreover lie on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. According to the number of the days that you shall lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.

ܘܐܢܐ ܝܗ̇ܒܬ ܠܟ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܥܘ̣ܠܝܢ ܠܡܢܝܢܐ ܕܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܬܠܬܡܐܐ ܘܬܫܥܝܢ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܬܫܩܘܠ ܥܘ̣ܠܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ
'ysryl dbyth ewl' wthshqwl ywmyn wthsheyn thlthm'' dywmth' lmnyn' ewlyn thryn lk yhbth w'n'
For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be to you a number of days, even three hundred ninety days. So you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

ܘܬܫܡܠܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܬܕܡܟ ܥܠ ܣܛܪܟ ܕܝܡܝܢܐ ܘܬܫܩܘܠ ܥܘ̣ܠܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥܝܢ ܝܘ̈ܡܝܢ ܝܘܡܐ ܠܫܢܬܐ ܝܗܒ̇ܬ ܠܟ
lk yhbth lshnth' ywm' ywmyn 'rbeyn yhwd' dbyth ewl' wthshqwl dymyn' sTrk el wthdmk hlyn wthshml'
“Again, when you have accomplished these, you shall lie on your right side, and shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah. I have appointed forty days, each day for a year, to you.

ܘܥܠ ܐܘܠܨܢܗ̇ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܬܛܝܒ ܐ̈ܦܝܟ ܘܕܪܥܟ ܬܥܫܢ ܘܬܬܢܒܐ ܥܠܝܗ̇
elyh wththnb' theshn wdrek 'pyk thTyb d'wrshlm 'wltsnh wel
You shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered; and you shall prophesy against it.

ܗܐ ܐܪܡ̇ܝܬ ܥܠܝܟ ܫܫ̈ܠܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܬܬܗܦܟ ܡܢ ܣܛܪܟ ܠܣܛܪܟ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܢܫܠܡܘܢ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܕܚܒܘܫܝܟ
dkhbwshyk ywmth' dnshlmwn edm' lsTrk sTrk mn ththhpk wl' shshlth' elyk 'rmyth h'
Behold, I put ropes on you, and you shall not turn yourself from one side to the other, until you have accomplished the days of your siege.

ܘܣܒ ܠܟ ܚ̈ܛܐ ܘܣܥܪ̈ܐ ܘܓܘ̈ܡܐ ܘܛܠܦܚ̈ܐ ܘܕܘܚܢܐ ܘܟܘܢ̈ܬܐ ܘܐܪܡܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܡܐܢܐ ܚܕ ܘܥܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܟ ܠܚܡܐ ܠܡܢܝܢܐ ܕܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܕܕܡ̇ܟ ܐܢܬ ܥܠ ܣܛܪܟ ܬܠܬܡܐܐ ܘܬܫܥܝܢ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ ܬܐܟܠܝܘܗܝ

“Take for yourself also wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel. Make bread of it. According to the number of the days that you will lie on your side, even three hundred ninety days, you shall eat of it.

ܘܡܐܟܘܠܬܟ ܬܗܘܐ ܥܣܪ̈ܝܢ ܡܬ̈ܩܠܝܢ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܡܢ ܥܕܢܐ ܠܥܕܢܐ
ledn' edn' mn bywm' mthqlyn esryn thhw' wm'kwlthk
Your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day. From time to time you shall eat it.

ܘܡ̈ܝܐ ܒܟܝܠܬܐ ܬܫܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܡܢ ܫܬ ܡܢ̈ܘܬܗ ܕܗܡܝܢܐ ܡܢ ܥܕܢܐ ܠܥܕܢܐ ܬܫܬܐ
thshth' ledn' edn' mn dhmyn' mnwthh shth mn khd' thshth' bkylth' wmy'
You shall drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin. From time to time you shall drink.

ܘܪܥܦܐ ܕܣܥܪ̈ܐ ܬܐܟܘܠ ܕܡܛܘܝ ܥܠ ܟܒ̈ܝܐ ܕܒܪܢܫܐ ܠܥ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ
lenyhwn dbrnsh' kby' el dmTwy th'kwl dser' wrep'
You shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man.”

ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܚܡܗܘܢ ܒܛܢܦܘܬܐ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܕܚܘܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܬܡܢ
lthmn 'nwn d'dkhwq emm' byth bTnpwth' lkhmhwn 'ysryl bny n'klwn hkn' mry' 'mr
Yahweh said, “Even thus will the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.”

ܘܐ̇ܡܪܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܢܦܫܝ ܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܡܛܢܦܐ ܘܕܡܪܥܐ ܘܕܬܒܝܪܐ ܠܚܝܘܬܐ ܠܐ ܐ̇ܟܠܬ ܡܢ ܛܠܝܘܬܝ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܘܡܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܥܠ ܠܦܘܡܝ ܒܣܪܐ ܛܢܦܐ
Tnp' bsr' lpwmy el wl' lywmn' wedm' Tlywthy mn 'klth l' lkhywth' wdthbyr' wdmre' mTnp' hwth l' npshy mrwth' mr' 'lh' w'mrth
Then I said, “Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals. No abominable meat has come into my mouth!”

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܗܐ ܝܗ̇ܒܬ ܠܟ ܟܒ̈ܝܐ ܕܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܚܠܦ ܟܒ̈ܝܐ ܕܒܢܝ̈ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܬܥܒܕ ܠܚܡܟ ܥܠܝܗܝܢ
elyhyn lkhmk dthebd 'nsh' dbny kby' khlp dthwr' kby' lk yhbth h' ly w'mr
Then he said to me, “Behold, I have given you cow’s dung for man’s dung, and you shall prepare your bread on it.”

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܗܐ ܬܒ̇ܪ ܐܢܐ ܩܢܝܐ ܕܥܒܘܪܐ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܘܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܠܚܡܐ ܒܡܬܩܠܐ ܘܡ̈ܝܐ ܒܨܗܘܢܐ ܒܟܝܠܬܐ ܢܫܬܘܢ

Moreover he said to me, “Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem. They will eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness. They will drink water by measure, and in dismay;

ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܨܪ̈ܝܟܝܢ ܠܠܚܡܐ ܘܠܡ̈ܝܐ ܘܢܣܘܦܘܢ ܓܒܪ ܘܐܚܘܗܝ ܘܢܬܡܣܘܢ ܒܥܘ̣ܠܗܘܢ

that they may lack bread and water, be dismayed one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.
