Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east.

ܘܗܐ ܫܘܒܚܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܬ̇ܐ ܡܢ ܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܩܠܗ ܐܝܟ ܩܠܐ ܕܡ̈ܝܐ ܣ̈ܓܝܐܐ ܘܐܪܥܐ ܢܗܪܬ ܡܢ ܫܘܒܚܗ

Behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth was illuminated with his glory.

ܐܝܟ ܚܙܘܐ ܕܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܟܕ ܐܬ̇ܝܬ ܠܡܚܒܠܘ ܠܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܚܙܘܐ ܕܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܥܠ ܢܗܪܟܒܪ ܘܢܦܠ̇ܬ ܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝ
'yk khzw' dkhzyth kd 'thyth lmkhblw lmdynth' w'yk khzw' dkhzyth el nhrkbr wnplth el 'py
It was like the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.

ܘܫܘܒܚܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܕܚܐ̇ܪ ܠܡܕܢܚܐ

Yahweh’s glory came into the house by the way of the gate which faces toward the east.

ܘܫܩܠܬܢܝ ܪܘܚܐ ܘܐܥܠܬܢܝ ܠܕܪܬܐ ܓܘܝܬܐ ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܕܐܬܡܠܝ ܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܫܘܒܚܗ

The Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, Yahweh’s glory filled the house.

ܘܫܡܥ̇ܬ ܡܕܡ ܕܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܡܢ ܓܘ ܒܝܬܐ ܘܓܒܪܐ ܩܐ̇ܡ ܗܘܐ ܠܘܬܝ

I heard one speaking to me out of the house, and a man stood by me.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܐܬܪܐ ܕܟܘܪܣܝ ܘܐܬܪܐ ܕܦܪ̈ܣܬܐ ܕܪ̈ܓܠܝ ܕܫ̇ܪܐ ܐܢܐ ܒܝܢܬ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܥܠܡ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܢܬܛܢܦܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܢܛܢܦܘܢ ܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ ܗܢܘܢ ܘܡ̈ܠܟܝܗܘܢ ܒܙܢܝܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܒܫ̈ܠܕܐ ܕܡ̈ܠܟܝܗܘܢ ܘܒܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ

He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell among the children of Israel forever. The house of Israel will no more defile my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their prostitution and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;

ܕܥܒ̇ܕܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܬܪ̈ܥܝܗܘܢ ܥܠ ܓܢܒ ܬܪ̈ܥܝ ܘܣ̈ܦܝܗܘܢ ܥܠ ܓܢܒ ܣ̈ܦܝ ܘܐܣܬܐ ܗܘܬ ܒܝܢܝ ܘܠܗܘܢ ܘܛܢܦܘ ܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ ܒܥܘ̣ܠܐ ܕܥܒܕܘ ܘܐܣܝ̇ܦܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܪܘܓܙܝ
debdyn hww threyhwn el gnb threy wspyhwn el gnb spy w'sth' hwth byny wlhwn wTnpw shm' dqwdshy bewl' debdw w'sypth 'nwn brwgzy
in their setting of their threshold by my threshold and their door post beside my door post. There was a wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed. Therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

ܡܟܝܠ ܢܪܚܩܘܢ ܙܢܝܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܫ̈ܠܕܐ ܕܡ̈ܠܟܝܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܘܐܫܪܐ ܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ
mkyl nrkhqwn znywthhwn wshld' dmlkyhwn mn qdmy w'shr' bynthhwn lelm
Now let them put away their prostitution, and the dead bodies of their kings far from me. Then I will dwell among them forever.

ܘܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܚܘܝܗܝ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܗܢܐ ܠܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܢܬܬܟܣܘܢ ܡܢ ܥܘ̣ܠܗܘܢ ܕܐܥܠܝܘ ܒܝ ܘܢܡܫܚܘܢܗ̇ ܠܕܡܘܬܗ
w'nth dyn brnsh' khwyhy lbyth' hn' lbyth 'ysryl wnththkswn mn ewlhwn d'elyw by wnmshkhwnh ldmwthh
“You, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.

ܘܐܢ ܐܬܬܟܣܘ ܡܢ ܡܕܡ ܕܥܒܕܘ ܨܘܪ̈ܬܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܘܛܘܝܒܗ ܘܡܥ̈ܠܢܘܗܝ ܘܡܦܩܢ̈ܘܗܝ ܘܟܘܠܗ̇ ܨܘܪܬܗ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܢܡܘ̈ܣܘܗܝ ܘܟܠܗܝܢ ܨܘܪ̈ܬܗ ܚܘܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܪܫܘܡ ܠܥܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܕܢܛܪܘܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܨܘܪ̈ܬܗ ܘܟܘܠܗ ܪܘܫܡܗ ܘܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ

If they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, its fashion, its exits, its entrances, its structure, all its ordinances, all its forms, and all its laws; and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form of it, and all its ordinances, and do them.

ܗܢܘ ܚܙܘܐ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܥܠ ܪܝܫ ܛܘܪܐ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܬܚ̈ܘܡܘܗܝ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܩܕܘܫ ܩ̈ܘܕܫܐ ܐܢܘܢ
hnw khzw' dbyth' el rysh Twr' wklhwn thkhwmwhy kd khdryn qdwsh qwdsh' 'nwn
“This is the law of the house. On the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

ܗܠܝܢ ܡܘܫ̈ܚܬܗ ܕܡܕܒܚܐ ܒܐܡܬܐ ܕܐܡܐ ܘܦܫܟ ܥܘܒܗ̇ ܕܐܡܬܐ ܐܡܐ ܘܬܝܟܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܣܦܬܗ ܙܪܬ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܘܗܟܢܐ ܒܓܒܗ
hlyn mwshkhthh dmdbkh' b'mth' d'm' wpshk ewbh d'mth' 'm' wthyk' 'yth lspthh zrth kd khdr whkn' bgbh
“These are the measurements of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand width): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the width a cubit, and its border around its edge a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.

ܘܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܬܝܟܐ ܬܚܬܝܐ ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܐܡܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܘܡܢ ܬܝܟܐ ܬܚܬܝܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܠܝܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܦܬܝܐ ܐܡܐ

From the bottom on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the width one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the width a cubit.

ܘܗܕܐܝܠ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܡܢ ܗܕܐܝܠ ܘܠܥܠ ܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ
whd'yl 'rbe 'myn wmn hd'yl wlel qrnth' 'rbe
The upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.

ܘܐܘܪܟܗ ܕܗܕܐܝܠ ܬܪ̈ܬܥܣܪܐ ܐܡܝܢ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܬܪ̈ܬܥܣܪܐ ܡܪܒܥ ܠܐܪܒܥܐ ܣܛܪ̈ܘܗܝ
w'wrkh dhd'yl thrthesr' 'myn wpthyh thrthesr' mrbe l'rbe' sTrwhy
The altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve wide, square in its four sides.

ܘܬܝܟܗ ܐܪ̈ܒܥܣܪܐ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܐܪ̈ܒܥܣܪܐ ܦܬܝܗ ܥܠ ܐܪܒܥܐ ܣܛܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܘܬܝܟܗ ܘܬܚܘܡܐ ܕܚܕܪ ܠܗ ܦܠܓܘܬ ܐܡܐ ܘܥܘܒܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܘܕܪ̈ܓܘܗܝ ܚܝ̇ܪܝܢ ܠܡܕܢܚܐ
wthykh 'rbesr' 'myn 'wrkh w'rbesr' pthyh el 'rbe' sTrwhy wthykh wthkhwm' dkhdr lh plgwth 'm' wewb' 'yth lh kd khdr wdrgwhy khyryn lmdnkh'
The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and its bottom shall be a cubit around; and its steps shall look toward the east.”

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܢܡ̈ܘܣܘܗܝ ܕܡܕܒܚܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܡܬܥܒܕ ܢܩܪܒܘܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܥܠܬܐ ܘܢܐܫܕܘܢ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܕܡܐ
w'mr ly br 'nsh' hkn' 'mr mr' mrwth' hlyn nmwswhy dmdbkh' bywm' dmthebd nqrbwn elwhy elth' wn'shdwn elwhy dm'
He said to me, “Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says: ‘These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they make it, to offer burnt offerings on it, and to sprinkle blood on it.

ܘܐܬܠ ܠܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܘ̈ܠܠܘܝܐ ܕܡܢ ܙܪܥܗ ܕܨܕܘܩ ܕܡܬܩܪܒܝܢ ܠܘܬܝ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܠܡܫܡܫܘܬܢܝ ܬܘܪܐ ܒܪ ܒܩܪܐ ܠܬܕܟܝܬܐ ܕܚ̈ܛܗܐ
w'thl lkhn' wllwy' dmn zreh dtsdwq dmthqrbyn lwthy 'mr mr' mrwth' lmshmshwthny thwr' br bqr' lthdkyth' dkhTh'
You shall give to the Levitical priests who are of the offspring of Zadok, who are near to me, to minister to me,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘a young bull for a sin offering.

ܘܬܣܒ ܡܢ ܕܡܗ ܘܬܪܘܣ ܒܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܩܪ̈ܢܬܗ ܕܡܕܒܚܐ ܘܒܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܙܘ̈ܝܬܐ ܕܬܝܟܗ ܘܒܬܚܘܡܐ ܕܚܕܪ ܠܗ ܘܬܪܘܣ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܘܢܬܕܟܐ
wthsb mn dmh wthrws b'rbe qrnthh dmdbkh' wb'rbe zwyth' dthykh wbthkhwm' dkhdr lh wthrws elwhy wnthdk'
You shall take of its blood and put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border all around. You shall cleanse it and make atonement for it that way.

ܘܬܣܒ ܬܘܪܐ ܕܬܕܟܝܬܐ ܘܢܣܩܘܢܗ ܥܠ ܓܢܒܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܠܒܪ ܡܢ ܡܩܕܫܐ
wthsb thwr' dthdkyth' wnsqwnh el gnbh dbyth' lbr mn mqdsh'
You shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and it shall be burned in the appointed place of the house, outside of the sanctuary.

ܘܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܩܪܒ ܠܬܕܟܝܬܐ ܨܦܪܝܐ ܕܥ̈ܙܐ ܕܠܝܬ ܒܗ ܡܘܡܐ ܘܢܕܟܘܢ ܠܡܕܒܚܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܕܟܝܘܗܝ ܒܬܘܪܐ
wbywm' dthryn qrb lthdkyth' tspry' dez' dlyth bh mwm' wndkwn lmdbkh' 'yk ddkywhy bthwr'
“On the second day you shall offer a male goat without defect for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull.

ܘܡܐ ܕܫܡܠܝܬ ܠܡܕܟܝܘ ܩܪܒ ܬܘܪܐ ܒܪ ܒܩܪܐ ܕܠܝܬ ܒܗ ܡܘܡܐ ܘܕܟܪܐ ܡܢ ܥܢܐ ܕܠܝܬ ܒܗ ܡܘܡܐ
wm' dshmlyth lmdkyw qrb thwr' br bqr' dlyth bh mwm' wdkr' mn en' dlyth bh mwm'
When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bull without defect and a ram out of the flock without defect.

ܘܩܪܒ ܐܢܘܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܢܪܡܘܢ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܡܠܚܐ ܘܢܩܪܒܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܝܩ̈ܕܐ ܫ̈ܠܡܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ
wqrb 'nwn qdm mry' wnrmwn elyhwn khn' mlkh' wnqrbwn 'nwn yqd' shlm' lmry'
You shall bring them near to Yahweh, and the priests shall cast salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to Yahweh.

ܬܩܪܒܘܢ ܫܒܥܐ ܝܘ̈ܡܝܢ ܨܦܪܝܐ ܚܕ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܠܬܕܟܝܬܐ ܘܬܘܪܐ ܚܕ ܒܪ ܒܩܪܐ ܘܕܟܪܐ ܡܢ ܥܢܐ ܕܠܝܬ ܒܗ ܡܘܡܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܡܩܪܒܝܢ ܫܒܥܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ

“Seven days you shall prepare every day a goat for a sin offering. They shall also prepare a young bull and a ram out of the flock, without defect.

ܘܢܕܟܘܢܗ ܠܡܕܒܚܐ ܘܢܫܡܠܘܢ ܐ̈ܝܕܝܗܘܢ

Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it. So shall they consecrate it.

ܘܡܐ ܕܫܠܡܘ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܡܢ ܝܘܡܐ ܕܫܒܥܐ ܘܠܗܠ ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܩܪܒܘܢ ܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܥܠ ܡܕܒܚܐ ܝܩ̈ܕܝܗܘܢ ܫ̈ܠܡܐ ܘܩܘܪ̈ܒܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܐܨܛܒܐ ܒܗܘܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
wm' dshlmw ywmth' mn ywm' dshbe' wlhl hydyn nqrbwn khn' el mdbkh' yqdyhwn shlm' wqwrbnyhwn w'tsTb' bhwn 'mr mr' mrwth'
When they have accomplished the days, it shall be that on the eighth day and onward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings on the altar and your peace offerings. Then I will accept you,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”
