ܘܐܥܠܢܝ ܠܗܝܟܠܐ ܘܡܫܚܗ ܠܦܪܘܣܬܕܐ ܫܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܦܬܝܗ ܡܟܐ ܘܫܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܦܬܝܗ ܡܟܐ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܕܡܫܟܢܐ
dmshkn' wpthyh mk' pthyh 'myn wshth mk' pthyh 'myn shth lprwsthd' wmshkhh lhykl' w'elny
He brought me to the nave and measured the posts, six cubits wide on the one side and six cubits wide on the other side, which was the width of the tent.

ܘܦܬܝܗ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܥܣܪ̈ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܣܛܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܡܟܐ ܘܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܡܟܐ ܘܡܫܚ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܐܪ̈ܒܥܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܥܣܪ̈ܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
'myn esryn wpthyh 'myn 'rbeyn 'wrkh wmshkh mk' 'myn wkhmsh mk' 'myn khmsh dthre' wsTrwhy 'myn esr dthre' wpthyh
The width of the entrance was ten cubits, and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side. He measured its length, forty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits.

ܘܥܠ ܠܓܘ ܘܡܫܚܗ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܬܪܥܐ ܫܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܫܒܥ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
'myn shbe wpthyh 'myn shth wthre' 'myn thrthyn lthre' wmshkhh lgw wel
Then he went inward and measured each post of the entrance, two cubits; and the entrance, six cubits; and the width of the entrance, seven cubits.

ܘܡܫܚ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܥܣܪ̈ܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܥܣܪ̈ܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܗܝܟܠܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܗܢܘ̇ ܩܕܘܫ ܩܘ̈ܕܫܐ
qwdsh' qdwsh hnw ly w'mr hykl' lwqbl 'myn esryn wpthyh 'myn esryn 'wrkh wmshkh
He measured its length, twenty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits, before the nave. He said to me, “This is the most holy place.”

ܘܡܫܚ ܐܣܬܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܫܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܦܬܝܗ̇ ܕܕܦܢܐ ܫܒܥ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܒܝܬܐ
byth' khdr kd 'myn shbe ddpn' wpthyh 'myn shth dbyth' 'sthh wmshkh
Then he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the width of every side room, four cubits, all around the house on every side.

ܘܕܦܢ̈ܬܐ ܕܦܢܐ ܥܠ ܕܦܢܐ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܘܬܠܬ ܙܒ̈ܢܝܢ ܘܥ̈ܐܠܢ ܒܐܣܬܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܕܦܢ̈ܬܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܕܢܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܐܚ̈ܝܕܢ ܘܡܦܪ̈ܩܢ ܡܢ ܐܣܬܐ
'sth' mn wmprqn 'khydn dnhwyn khdr kd dpnth' dbyth' b'sthh we'ln zbnyn wthlth thlthyn dpn' el dpn' wdpnth'
The side rooms were in three stories, one over another, and thirty in each story. They entered into the wall which belonged to the house for the side rooms all around, that they might be supported and not penetrate the wall of the house.

ܘܢܩ̈ܦܢ ܠܥܠ ܗ̈ܢܝܢ ܕܦܢ̈ܬܐ ܕܢܬܟܪ̈ܟܢ ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܕܢܪܘܚ ܒܝܬܐ ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܘܡܢ ܠܬܚܬ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܣܠܩ̇ܝܢ ܠܡܨܥܝ̈ܬܐ ܘܡܢ ܡܨ̈ܥܝܬܐ ܠܥ̈ܠܝܬܐ
lelyth' mtseyth' wmn lmtseyth' slqyn nhwwn lthkhth wmn lel mn byth' dnrwkh lbyth' lel mn dnthkrkn dpnth' hnyn lel wnqpn
The side rooms were wider on the higher levels, because the walls were narrower at the higher levels. Therefore the width of the house increased upward; and so one went up from the lowest level to the highest through the middle level.

ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܪܘܡܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܘܦܪ̈ܝܩܢ ܗ̈ܘܝ ܕܦܢ̈ܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܡܢ ܚܕܐ ܡܠܐ ܩܢܝܐ ܫܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
'myn shth qny' ml' khd' mn khd' dpnth' hwy wpryqn khdr kd dbyth' rwmh wkhzyth
I saw also that the house had a raised base all around. The foundations of the side rooms were a full reed of six great cubits.

ܘܦܬܝܗ̇ ܕܐܣܬܐ ܕܕܦܢܐ ܕܠܒܪ ܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܕܡܢ ܠܓܘ ܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
'myn khmsh lgw wdmn 'myn khmsh dlbr ddpn' d'sth' wpthyh
The thickness of the outer wall of the side rooms was five cubits. That which was left was the place of the side rooms that belonged to the house.

ܘܒܝܬ ܐܟܣܕܪ̈ܐ ܦܬܝܐ ܥܣܪ̈ܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ̈ܢ ܠܒܝܬܐ
lbyth' khdrn kd 'myn esryn pthy' 'ksdr' wbyth
Between the rooms was a width of twenty cubits around the house on every side.

ܘܬܪܥܐ ܕܕܦܢܐ ܕܫܒܝܩ ܚܕ ܠܬܝܡܢܐ ܘܚܕ ܠܓܪܒܝܐ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܕܐܬܪܐ ܕܫܒܝܩ ܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
'myn khmsh dshbyq d'thr' wpthyh lgrby' wkhd lthymn' khd dshbyq ddpn' wthre'
The doors of the side rooms were toward an open area that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south. The width of the open area was five cubits all around.

ܘܒܢܝܢܐ ܕܩܕܡ ܓܙܝܪܬܐ ܕܒܬܪܥܐ ܡܥܪܒܝܐ ܦܬܝܗ ܫܒܥܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܐܣܬܗ ܕܒܢܝܢܐ ܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܦܬܝܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܘܐܘܪܟܐ ܬܫܥܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
'myn thsheyn w'wrk' khdr kd pthy' 'myn khmsh dbnyn' w'sthh 'myn shbeyn pthyh merby' dbthre' gzyrth' dqdm wbnyn'
The building that was before the separate place at the side toward the west was seventy cubits wide; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick all around, and its length ninety cubits.

ܘܡܫܚܗ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܡܐܐ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܓܙܝܪܬܐ ܕܒܢܝܢܐ ܕܐܣ̈ܐ ܐܘܪܟܐ ܡܐܐ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
'myn m'' 'wrk' d's' dbnyn' wgzyrth' 'wrkh 'myn m'' lbyth' wmshkhh
So he measured the temple, one hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with its walls, one hundred cubits long;

ܘܦܬܝܐ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܒܝܬܐ ܘܓܙܝܪܬܐ ܡܕܢܚܝܬܐ ܡܐܐ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
'myn m'' mdnkhyth' wgzyrth' byth' lwqbl wpthy'
also the width of the face of the temple, and of the separate place toward the east, one hundred cubits.

ܘܡܫܚ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܕܒܢܝܢܐ ܕܩܕܡ ܓܙܝܪܬܐ ܘܒܣܬܪܗ ܘܬܝ̈ܟܘܗܝ ܡܟܐ ܘܡܟܐ ܡܐܐ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܗܝܟܠܐ ܓܘܝܐ ܘܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܕܕܪܬܐ
ddrth' dthre' wprwsthd' gwy' whykl' 'myn m'' wmk' mk' wthykwhy wbsthrh gzyrth' dqdm dbnyn' 'wrkh wmshkh
He measured the length of the building before the separate place which was at its back, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, one hundred cubits from the inner temple, and the porches of the court,

ܘܣ̈ܦܐ ܘܟ̈ܘܐ ܘܬܝ̈ܟܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܠܬ̈ܠܬܝܗܘܢ ܬܪ̈ܥܐ ܩܪܡ ܩܝܣܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܐܘܪܟܗ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܟ̈ܘܐ
lkw' edm' w'wrkh khdryn kd qys' qrm thre' lthlthyhwn khdryn kd wthyk' wkw' wsp'
the thresholds, and the closed windows, and the galleries around on their three stories, opposite the threshold, with wood ceilings all around, and from the ground up to the windows, (now the windows were covered),

ܘܟ̈ܘܐ ܡܟܣ̈ܝܢ ܠܥܠ ܡܢ ܬܪ̈ܥܐ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܓܘܝܐ ܘܠܒܪ ܠܟܠܗܝܢ ܐܣ̈ܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ ܡܫܚ ܡܢ ܠܒܪ ܘܡܢ ܠܓܘ
lgw wmn lbr mn mshkh khdr kd 's' lklhyn wlbr gwy' dbyth' thre' mn lel mksyn wkw'
to the space above the door, even to the inner house, and outside, and by all the wall all around inside and outside, by measure.

ܘܥܒܕ ܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܘܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܘܕܩܠܐ ܒܝܬ ܟܪܘܒܐ ܠܟܪܘܒܐ ܘܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܦܝܢ ܠܟܪܘܒܐ
lkrwb' 'pyn wthrthyn lkrwb' krwb' byth wdql' wdql' krwb' webd
It was made with cherubim and palm trees. A palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces,

ܘܐ̈ܦܐ ܕܒܪܢܫܐ ܥܠ ܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܡܟܐ ܘܡܟܐ ܥܒܝܕ ܠܟܠܗ ܒܝܬܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ
khdr kd byth' lklh ebyd wmk' mk' dql' el dbrnsh' w'p'
so that there was the face of a man toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side. It was made like this through all the house all around.

ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܥܠ ܡܢ ܬܪ̈ܥܐ ܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܘܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܥܒܝܕܝܢ
ebydyn wdql' krwb' thre' mn lel wedm' 're' mn
Cherubim and palm trees were made from the ground to above the door. The wall of the temple was like this.

ܘܐܣܬܗ ܕܗܝܟܠܐ ܡܥܪܒܐ ܗܘܬ ܘܐ̈ܦܝ ܩܘܕܫܐ ܕܚܙܘܐ
dkhzw' qwdsh' w'py hwth merb' dhykl' w'sthh
The door posts of the nave were squared. As for the face of the nave, its appearance was as the appearance of the temple.

ܐܝܟ ܚܙܘܗ ܕܡܕܒܚܐ ܕܩܝܣܐ ܬܠܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܪܘܡܗ ܘܐܘܪܟܗ ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܘܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܬܝܟ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܩܝܣܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܗܢܘ ܦܬܘܪܐ ܕܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' dqdm pthwr' hnw ly w'mr dqys' wthykwhy w'wrkh lh 'yth wqrnth' 'myn thrthyn w'wrkh rwmh 'myn thlth dqys' dmdbkh' khzwh 'yk
The altar was of wood, three cubits high, and its length two cubits. Its corners, its base, and its walls were of wood. He said to me, “This is the table that is before Yahweh.”

ܘܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܬܪ̈ܥܝܢ ܠܡܪܒܒܐ

The temple and the sanctuary had two doors.

ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܠܡܪܒܒܐ ܚܕ ܘܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܠܡܪܒܒܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ
'khrn' lmrbb' wthryn khd lmrbb' thryn
The doors had two leaves each, two turning leaves: two for the one door, and two leaves for the other.

ܘܥܒܝܕ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܥܠ ܬܪ̈ܥܐ ܕܗܝܟܠܐ ܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܘܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܥܒܝܕܝܢ ܒܐ̈ܣܐ ܘܐ̈ܦܘܗܝ ܕܦܪܘܣܬܕܐ ܩܪ̈ܝܡܢ ܩܝܣܐ ܡܢ ܠܒܪ
lbr mn qys' qrymn dprwsthd' w'pwhy b's' debydyn 'yk wdql' krwb' dhykl' thre' el elyhwn webyd
There were made on them, on the doors of the nave, cherubim and palm trees, like those made on the walls. There was a threshold of wood on the face of the porch outside.

ܘܟ̈ܘܐ ܫ̈ܛܝܦܢ ܘܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܐܝܬ ܡܟܐ ܘܡܟܐ ܥܠ ܣܛܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܦܪܘܣܬܕܐ ܘܕܦ̈ܢܬܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܩܪ̈ܝܡܢ ܕܦ̈ܐ

There were closed windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch. This is how the side rooms of the temple and the thresholds were arranged.
