bshnth esryn wkhmsh dshbythn brysh shnth' besrth' byrkh' bshnth 'rbesr' bthr d'thkhrbth mdynth' bh bywm' hn' hwth ely 'ydh dmry'
In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, in the same day, Yahweh’s hand was on me, and he brought me there.

ܘܐܝܬܝܢܝ ܠܬܡܢ ܒܚܙܘܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܐܝܬܝܢܝ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܐܫܪܝܢܝ ܥܠ ܛܘܪܐ ܕܛܒ ܪܡ ܘܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܒܬܝܡܢܝܗ ܐܝܟ ܒܢܝܢܐ ܕܡܕܝܢܬܐ

In the visions of God he brought me into the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, on which was something like the frame of a city to the south.

ܘܐܝܬܝܢܝ ܠܬܡܢ ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܓܒܪܐ ܘܚܙܘܗ ܐܝܟ ܚܙܘܐ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܘܫܘܝܬܐ ܕܟܬܢܐ ܒܐܝܕܗ ܘܩܢܝܐ ܕܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܘܩܐ̇ܡ ܗܘܐ ܒܬܪܥܐ
w'ythyny lthmn wkhzyth gbr' wkhzwh 'yk khzw' dnkhsh' wshwyth' dkthn' b'ydh wqny' dmshwkhth' wq'm hw' bthre'
He brought me there; and, behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax in his hand and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܓܒܪܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܚܙܝ ܒ̈ܥܝܢܝܟ ܘܫܡܥ ܒܐ̈ܕܢܝܟ ܘܣܝܡ ܒܠܒܟ ܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܡܚܘܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ ܡܛܠ ܕܠܡܚܘܝܘܬܟ ܗܘ ܐܬܝ̇ܬ ܠܗܪܟܐ ܘܟܘܠ ܡܕܡ ܕܚܙ̇ܐ ܐܢܬ ܚܘܐ ܠܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ
w'mr ly gbr' hw brnsh' khzy beynyk wshme b'dnyk wsym blbk kl mdm dmkhw' 'n' lk mTl dlmkhwywthk hw 'thyth lhrk' wkwl mdm dkhz' 'nth khw' lbny 'ysryl
The man said to me, “Son of man, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I will show you; for you have been brought here so that I may show them to you. Declare all that you see to the house of Israel.”

ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܫܘܪܐ ܕܟܪܟ ܠܗ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܩܢܝܐ ܕܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܒܐܝܕܗ ܕܓܒܪܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܫܬ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܗ̇ܘܐ ܗܘܐ ܘܦܫܟ ܘܡܫܚ ܦܬܝܗ ܕܒܢܝܢܐ ܩܢܝܐ ܚܕ ܘܪܘܡܗ ܩܢܝܐ ܚܕ
wkhzyth shwr' dkrk lh lbyth' hw wqny' dmshwkhth' b'ydh dgbr' hw wshth 'myn hw' hw' wpshk wmshkh pthyh dbnyn' qny' khd wrwmh qny' khd
Behold, there was a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed six cubits long, of a cubit and a hand width each. So he measured the thickness of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

ܘܐܬܐ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܕܚܐ̇ܪ ܠܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܣܠܩ ܒܕܪ̈ܓܘܗܝ ܘܡܫܚ ܣܦܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܩܢܝܐ ܚܕ ܠܦܬܝܗ ܘܣܦܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܩܢܝܐ ܚܕ ܠܦܬܝܗ

Then he came to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its steps. He measured the threshold of the gate, one reed wide; and the other threshold, one reed wide.

ܘܦܪܘܣܬܕܐ ܩܢܝܐ ܚܕ ܠܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܩܢܝܐ ܚܕ ܠܦܬܝܗ ܘܒܝܬ ܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܐ ܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܣܦܗ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܡܢ ܠܓܘ ܡܢ ܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܩܢܝܐ ܚܕ
wprwsthd' qny' khd l'wrkh wqny' khd lpthyh wbyth prwsthd' khmsh 'myn wsph dthre' mn lgw mn prwsthd' dthre' qny' khd
Every lodge was one reed long and one reed wide. Between the lodges was five cubits. The threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate toward the house was one reed.

ܘܡܫܚܗ ܠܦܪܘܣܬܕܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܬܡܢܐ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ. ܘܐܣܟܘܦܬܗ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܡܢ ܠܓܘ ܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
wmshkhh lprwsthd' dthre' thmn' 'myn w'skwpthh dthre' mn lgw thrthyn 'myn
Then he measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and its posts, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was toward the house.

ܘܓܘܗ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܡܕܢܚܝܐ ܬܠܬܐ ܡܟܐ ܘܬܠܬܐ ܡܟܐ ܘܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܠܬܠܬܝܗܘܢ ܘܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܠܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܐ ܕܡܟܐ ܘܡܟܐ
wgwh dthre' mdnkhy' thlth' mk' wthlth' mk' wmshwkhth' khd' lthlthyhwn wmshwkhth' khd' lprwsthd' dmk' wmk'
The side rooms of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side. The three of them were of one measure. The posts had one measure on this side and on that side.

ܘܡܫܚ ܦܬܝܗ ܕܡܥܠܢܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܥܣܪ̈ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܐܘܪܟܗ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܬܠܬܥܣܪ̈ܐ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
wmshkh pthyh dmeln' dthre' esr 'myn w'wrkh dthre' thlthesr' 'myn
He measured the width of the opening of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits;

ܘܬܚܘܡܐ ܕܩܕܡ ܐܣܟܘܦܬܐ ܐܡܐ ܐܡܐ ܡܟܐ ܘܡܟܐ ܘܓܘܗ ܫܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܡܟܐ ܘܫܬ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܡܟܐ
wthkhwm' dqdm 'skwpth' 'm' 'm' mk' wmk' wgwh shth 'myn mk' wshth 'myn mk'
and a border before the lodges, one cubit on this side, and a border, one cubit on that side; and the side rooms, six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

ܘܡܫܚܗ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܡܢ ܐܓܪܗ ܠܐܓܪܗ ܦܬܝܐ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܘܚܡܫ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܬܪܥܐ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܬܪܥܐ
wmshkhh lthre' mn 'grh l'grh pthy' esryn wkhmsh 'myn wthre' lwqbl thre'
He measured the gate from the roof of the one side room to the roof of the other, a width of twenty-five cubits, door against door.

ܘܥܒܕ ܩܕܡ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܬܪܥܐ ܫܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܩܕܡ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܬܪܥܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܒܪܝܐ ܫܬܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
webd qdm 'py thre' shthyn 'myn wqdm 'py thre' 'khrn' bry' shthyn 'myn
He also made posts, sixty cubits; and the court reached to the posts, around the gate.

ܘܩܕܡ ܬܪܥܐ ܓܘܝܐ ܚܡܫܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
wqdm thre' gwy' khmshyn 'myn
From the forefront of the gate at the entrance to the forefront of the inner porch of the gate were fifty cubits.

ܘܟܘ̈ܐ ܕܫ̈ܛܝܦܢ ܡܢ ܠܓܘ ܘܩ̈ܛܝܢܢ ܡܢ ܠܒܪ ܥܠ ܚ̈ܬܐ ܘܥܠ ܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܘܟ̈ܘܐ ܚܕܪ̈ܢ ܗ̈ܘܝ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܠܓܘ
wkw' dshTypn mn lgw wqTynn mn lbr el khth' wel prwsthd' dthre' wkw' khdrn hwy lhwn mn lgw
There were closed windows to the side rooms, and to their posts within the gate all around, and likewise to the arches. Windows were around inward. Palm trees were on each post.

ܘܐܥܠܢܝ ܠܕܪܬܐ ܒܪܝܬܐ ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܕܪ̈ܓܐ ܟܕ ܚܕܪܐ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܕܪ̈ܓܝܢ ܚܕ ܠܥܠ ܡܢ ܚܕ
w'elny ldrth' bryth' wkhzyth drg' kd khdr' thlthyn drgyn khd lel mn khd
Then he brought me into the outer court. Behold, there were rooms and a pavement made for the court all around. Thirty rooms were on the pavement.

ܘܕܪ̈ܓܐ ܕܥܠ ܓܢܒ ܬܪܥܐ ܕܠܘܩܒܠ ܐܘܪܟܗܘܢ ܕܕܪ̈ܓܐ
wdrg' del gnb thre' dlwqbl 'wrkhwn ddrg'
The pavement was by the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates, even the lower pavement.

ܘܡܫܚ ܦܬܝܗ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܬܪܥܐ ܕܕܪܬܐ ܡܐܐ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܠܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܠܓܪܒܝܐ
wmshkh pthyh mn qdm thre' ddrth' m'' 'myn lmdnkh' wlgrby'
Then he measured the width from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, one hundred cubits, both on the east and on the north.

ܘܬܪܥܐ ܕܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܓܪܒܝܝܗ̇ ܕܕܪܬܐ ܡܫܚ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܦܬܝܗ
wthre' dqdmwhy mn grbyyh ddrth' mshkh 'wrkh wpthyh
He measured the length and width of the gate of the outer court which faces toward the north.

ܘܡܫܘܚܬܗ ܬܠܬܐ ܡܟܐ ܘܬܠܬܐ ܡܟܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܫܘܚܬܗ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܩܕܡܝܐ ܚܡܫܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܥܣܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܚܡܫ
wmshwkhthh thlth' mk' wthlth' mk' 'yk mshwkhthh dthre' qdmy' khmshyn 'myn 'wrkh wpthyh esryn wkhmsh
The lodges of it were three on this side and three on that side. Its posts and its arches were the same as the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and the width twenty-five cubits.

ܘܟܘ̈ܘܗܝ ܘܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܘܗܝ ܐܝܟ ܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܕܚܐ̇ܪ ܠܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܒܫܒܥܐ ܕܪ̈ܓܝܢ ܣܠܩ̇ܝܢ ܠܗ ܘܐܣܟܘܦܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ
wkwwhy wprwsthdwhy 'yk mshwkhth' dthre' dkh'r lmdnkh' wbshbe' drgyn slqyn lh w'skwpth' 'yth qdmyhwn
Its windows, its arches, and its palm trees were the same as the measure of the gate which faces toward the east. They went up to it by seven steps. Its arches were before them.

ܘܬܪ̈ܥܐ ܕܕܪܬܐ ܓܘܝܬܐ ܕܠܘܩܒܠ ܬܪܥܐ ܕܓܪܒܝ ܡܕܢܚ ܡܫܚ ܡܢ ܬܪܥܐ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܡܐܐ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ
wthre' ddrth' gwyth' dlwqbl thre' dgrby mdnkh mshkh mn thre' lthre' m'' 'myn
There was a gate to the inner court facing the other gate, on the north and on the east. He measured one hundred cubits from gate to gate.

ܘܐܘܒܠܢܝ ܠܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܬܝܡܢܐ ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬܗ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܕܬܝܡܢܐ ܘܡܫܚ ܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܘܗܝ ܘܩܝܡ̈ܬܗ ܐܝܟ ܗܠܝܢ ܡܘܫ̈ܚܬܐ
w'wblny l'wrkh' dthymn' wkhzythh lthre' dthymn' wmshkh prwsthdwhy wqymthh 'yk hlyn mwshkhth'
He led me toward the south; and behold, there was a gate toward the south. He measured its posts and its arches according to these measurements.

ܘܟܘ̈ܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܘܠܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܘܗܝ ܟܕ ܚܕܪ̈ܝܢ. ܐܝܟ ܗܠܝܢ ܟ̈ܘܐ ܘܚܡܫܝܢ ܐ̈ܡܝܢ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܘܥܣܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܚܡܫ ܦܬܝܗ
wkw' 'yth lh wlprwsthdwhy kd khdryn 'yk hlyn kw' wkhmshyn 'myn 'wrkh wesryn wkhmsh pthyh
There were windows in it and in its arches all around, like the other windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the width twenty-five cubits.

ܘܒܫܒܥܐ ܕܪ̈ܓܝܢ ܣܠܩ̇ܝܢ ܠܗ ܘܐܣܟܘܦܬܐ ܐܝܬ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܘܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܚܕ ܡܟܐ ܘܚܕ ܡܟܐ ܥܠ ܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܘܗܝ
wbshbe' drgyn slqyn lh w'skwpth' 'yth qdmwhy wdql' 'yth lh khd mk' wkhd mk' el prwsthdwhy
There were seven steps to go up to it, and its arches were before them. It had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, on its posts.

There was a gate to the inner court toward the south. He measured one hundred cubits from gate to gate toward the south.

ܘܐܥܠܢܝ ܠܕܪܬܐ ܓܘܝܬܐ ܒܬܪܥܐ ܕܬܝܡܢܐ ܘܡܫܚܗ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܬܝܡܢܝܐ ܐܝܟ ܗܠܝܢ ܡܘܫܚ̈ܬܐ

Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate. He measured the south gate according to these measurements;

There were arches all around, twenty-five cubits long and five cubits wide.

ܘܐܟܣܕܪܐ ܬܪܥܗ ܒܦܪܘܣܬܕܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܘܬܡܢ ܣܝ̇ܡܝܢ ܝܩ̈ܕܐ ܫ̈ܠܡܐ
w'ksdr' threh bprwsthd' dthre' wthmn symyn yqd' shlm'
A room with its door was by the posts at the gates. They washed the burnt offering there.

ܘܒܦܪ̈ܘܣܬܕܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܦܬܘܪ̈ܝܢ ܡܟܐ ܘܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܦܬܘܪ̈ܝܢ ܡܟܐ ܠܡܟܣ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܝܩ̈ܕܐ ܫ̈ܠܡܐ ܘܩܘܪ̈ܒܢܐ ܘܬܕܟܝܬܐ ܕܚ̈ܛܗܐ

On the one side outside, as one goes up to the entry of the gate toward the north, were two tables; and on the other side, which belonged to the porch of the gate, were two tables.

Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate: eight tables, on which they killed the sacrifices.

There were four cut stone tables for the burnt offering, a cubit and a half long, a cubit and a half wide, and one cubit high. They laid the instruments with which they killed the burnt offering and the sacrifice on them.

The hooks, a hand width long, were fastened within all around. The meat of the offering was on the tables.

ܘܠܒܪ ܡܢ ܬܪܥܐ ܓܘܝܐ ܚ̈ܢܘܬܐ ܕܪ̈ܘܪܒܢܐ ܒܕܪܬܐ ܓܘܝܬܐ ܕܒܣܛܪܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܓܪܒܝܝܐ ܘܐ̈ܦܝܗܘܢ ܠܬܝܡܢܐ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܣܛܪܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܡܕܢܚܝܐ ܕܠܘܩܒܠ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܓܪܒܝܐ

Outside of the inner gate were rooms for the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate. They faced toward the south. One at the side of the east gate faced toward the north.

He said to me, “This room, which faces toward the south, is for the priests who perform the duty of the house.

ܘܐܟܣܕܪܐ ܕܚܝܪܐ ܠܓܪܒܝܐ ܠܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܨܕܘܩ ܕܢܛ̇ܪܝܢ ܡܛܪܬܐ ܕܡܕܒܚܐ ܕܡܬܩܪܒܝܢ ܡܢ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܠܘܝ ܠܡܫܡܫܘ ܬܫܡܫܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ

The room which faces toward the north is for the priests who perform the duty of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, who from among the sons of Levi come near to Yahweh to minister to him.”

He measured the court, one hundred cubits long and one hundred cubits wide, square. The altar was before the house.

Then he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side. The width of the gate was three cubits on this side and three cubits on that side.

The length of the porch was twenty cubits and the width eleven cubits, even by the steps by which they went up to it. There were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.
