ܘܗܘܬ ܥܠܝ ܐܝܕܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܦܩܢܝ ܒܪܘܚܗ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܫܪܝܢܝ ܒܦܩܥܬܐ ܘܡܠܝܐ ܗܘܬ ܓܪ̈ܡܐ
grm' hwth wmly' bpqeth' w'shryny mry' brwkhh w'pqny dmry' 'ydh ely whwth
Yahweh’s hand was on me, and he brought me out in Yahweh’s Spirit, and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones.

ܘܐܥܒܪܢܝ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܚܕܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܕܣܓܝܐܝܢ ܛܒ ܒܦܩܥܬܐ ܘܛܒ ܝܒܝܫܝܢ
ybyshyn wTb bpqeth' Tb dsgy'yn wkhzyth khdryhwn elyhwn w'ebrny
He caused me to pass by them all around; and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and behold, they were very dry.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܚܐ̇ܝܢ ܓܪ̈ܡܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܝܕܥ̇ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
mrwth' mr' yde hw 'nth w'mrth hlyn grm' kh'yn brnsh' ly w'mr
He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I answered, “Lord Yahweh, you know.”

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܥܠ ܓܪ̈ܡܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܓܪ̈ܡܐ ܝܒܝܫ̈ܐ ܫܡܥܘ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
dmry' pthgmh shmew ybysh' grm' lhwn w'mr hlyn grm' el 'thnb' ly w'mr
Again he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, ‘You dry bones, hear Yahweh’s word.

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܠܓܪ̈ܡܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܥܠ ܐܢܐ ܒܟܘܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܘܬܚܘܢ
wthkhwn rwkh' bkwn 'n' mel 'n' h' hlyn lgrm' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn'
The Lord Yahweh says to these bones: “Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live.

ܘܐܬܠ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܓܝ̈ܕܐ ܘܐܣܩ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܒܣܪܐ ܘܐܩܪܘܡ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܡܫܟܐ ܘܐܬܠ ܒܟܘܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܘܬܚܘܢ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn wthkhwn rwkh' bkwn w'thl mshk' elykwn w'qrwm bsr' elykwn w'sq gyd' elykwn w'thl
I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”’”

ܘܐܬܢܒܝ̇ܬ ܐܝܟ ܕܦܩܕܢܝ ܘܟܕ ܐܬܢܒܝ̇ܬ ܗܘܐ ܩܠܐ ܘܙܘܥܐ ܘܩܪܒܘ ܓܪ̈ܡܐ ܓܪܡܐ ܠܘܬ ܫܪܝܬܗ

So I prophesied as I was commanded. As I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, there was an earthquake. Then the bones came together, bone to its bone.

ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܕܣܠܩ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܓܝ̈ܕܐ ܘܒܣܪܐ ܘܐܬܩܪܡ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܡܫܟܐ ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܘܪܘܚܐ ܠܝܬ ܗܘܬ ܒܗܘܢ
bhwn hwth lyth wrwkh' lel mn mshk' elyhwn w'thqrm wbsr' gyd' elyhwn dslq wkhzyth
I saw, and, behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܥܠ ܪܘܚܐ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܪܘܚܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܬܝ ܪܘܚܐ ܡܢ ܐܪ̈ܒܥ ܪ̈ܘܚܐ ܘܦܘܚܝ ܒܗܠܝܢ ܩ̈ܛܝܠܐ ܘܢܚܘܢ
wnkhwn qTyl' bhlyn wpwkhy rwkh' 'rbe mn rwkh' thy mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' lrwkh' w'mr brnsh' 'thnb' rwkh' el 'thnb' ly w'mr
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”

ܘܐܬܢܒܝ̇ܬ ܐܝܟ ܕܦܩܕܢܝ ܘܥܠܬ ܒܗܘܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܘܚܝܘ ܘܩܡܘ ܥܠ ܪ̈ܓܠܝܗܘܢ ܚܝܠܐ ܕܛܒ ܣܓܝ

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܓܪ̈ܡܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܐܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܝܒܫܘ ܓܪ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܐܒܕ ܣܒܪܢ ܘܒܛܠܢ ܠܢ

Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost. We are completely cut off.’

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܦܬ̇ܚ ܐܢܐ ܩܒܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܘܡܣܩ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܩܒܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܘܡܝܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
d'ysryl l're' lkwn 'n' wmyth' qbrykwn mn lkwn 'n' wmsq qbrykwn 'n' pthkh h' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' lhwn w'mr 'thnb' hn' mTl
Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.

ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܐ ܕܦܬ̇ܚܬ ܩܒܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܘܡܐ ܕܐܣܩ̇ܬܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܩܒܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ
qbrykwn mn d'sqthkwn wm' qbrykwn dpthkhth m' mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn
You will know that I am Yahweh, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, my people.

ܐܬܠ ܪܘܚܝ ܒܟܘܢ ܘܬܚܘܢ ܘܐܫܒܘܩܟܘܢ ܒܐܪܥܟܘܢ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܘܥܒ̇ܕ ܐܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
mrwth' mr' 'mr 'n' webd 'mrth mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn b'rekwn w'shbwqkwn wthkhwn bkwn rwkhy 'thl
I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live. Then I will place you in your own land; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken it and performed it,” says Yahweh.’”

ܘܗܘܐ ܥܠܝ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ

Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying,

ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܣܒ ܠܟ ܩܝܣܐ ܚܕ ܘܟܬܘܒ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܘܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܚܒܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܘܣܒ ܩܝܣܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܘܟܬܘܒ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܝܘܣܦ ܒܩܝܣܐ ܕܐܦܪܝܡ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܚܒܪ̈ܘܗܝ
khbrwhy 'ysryl bny wklhwn d'prym bqys' ywsp elwhy wkthwb 'khrn' qys' wsb khbrwhy 'ysr'yl wbny yhwd' elwhy wkthwb khd qys' lk sb 'nsh' br dyn 'nth
“You, son of man, take one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions.’ Then take another stick, and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions.’

ܘܩܪܒ ܐܢܘܢ ܚܕ ܠܘܬ ܚܕ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܚܕ ܩܝܣ ܒܐܝܕܟ
b'ydk qys khd wnhwwn khd lwth khd 'nwn wqrb
Then join them for yourself to one another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.

ܘܐܢ ܐܡܪܘ ܠܟ ܒ̈ܢܝ ܥܡܟ ܚܘܢ ܡܢܐ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܗܠܝܢ
hlyn 'nyn mn' khwn emk bny lk 'mrw w'n
“When the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’

ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܢܣ̇ܒ ܐܢܐ ܩܝܣܐ ܕܝܘܣܦ ܕܒܐܝܕܗ ܕܐܦܪܝܡ ܘܫ̈ܒܛܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܚܒܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܘܐܬܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܥܡ ܩܝܣܐ ܕܝܗܘܕܐ ܘܐܥܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܚܕ ܩܝܣ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܚܕ ܒܐܝܕܝ
b'ydy khd wnhwwn qys khd 'nwn w'ebd dyhwd' qys' em 'nwn w'thl khbrwhy d'ysryl wshbT' d'prym db'ydh dywsp qys' 'n' nsb h' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' lhwn 'mr
tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in my hand.

ܘܩܝܣ̈ܐ ܕܟܬ̇ܒ ܐܢܬ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܐܚܘܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܐܝܕܟ ܠܥܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ
lenyhwn b'ydk 'nwn 'khwd elyhwn 'nth dkthb wqys'
The sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.”’

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܢܣ̇ܒ ܐܢܐ ܠܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܢ ܒܝܢܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܙܠܘ ܠܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܐܟܢܫ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܐܝܬܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܐܪܥܗܘܢ
l'rehwn 'nwn w'yth' 'nwn w'knsh lwthhwn d'zlw emm' bynth mn 'ysryl lbny 'n' nsb h' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' lhwn w'mr
Say to them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land.

ܘܐܥܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܥܡܐ ܚܕ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܒܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܚܕ ܡܠܟܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܢܬܦܠܓܘܢ ܠܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܡ̈ܠܟܘܢ
mlkwn lthrthyn nthplgwn l' wthwb emmyn thryn nhwwn l' wthwb lklhwn nhw' mlk' wkhd d'ysryl bTwr' b're' khd em' 'nwn w'ebd
I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. One king will be king to them all. They will no longer be two nations. They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܢܬܛܢܦܘܢ ܒܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܘܒ̈ܛܢܦܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܒܟܠܗ ܥܘ̣ܠܗܘܢ ܘܐܦܪܘܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܠܗ ܒܝܬ ܡܥܡܪܗܘܢ ܕܚܛܘ ܒܗ ܘܐܕܟܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܝ ܥܡܐ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' lhwn 'hw' w'n' em' ly wnhwwn 'nwn w'dk' bh dkhTw memrhwn byth klh mn 'nwn w'prwq ewlhwn wbklh wbTnpwthhwn bpthkryhwn nthTnpwn l' wthwb
They won’t defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. So they will be my people, and I will be their God.

ܘܥܒ̣ܕܝ ܕܘܝܕ ܢܡܠܟ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܘܪܥܝ̇ܐ ܚܕ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܘܒܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܢܗܠܟܘܢ ܘܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܢܛܪܘܢ ܘܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn wnebdwn nTrwn wpwqdny nhlkwn wbdyny lklhwn nhw' khd wrey' elyhwn nmlk dwyd webdy
“‘“My servant David will be king over them. They all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in my ordinances and observe my statutes, and do them.

ܘܢܬܒܘܢ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܗ̇ܒܬ ܠܥܒܕܝ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܕܝܬܒܘ ܒܗ̇ ܐ̈ܒܗܝܗܘܢ ܘܢܬܒܘܢ ܒܗ̇ ܗܢܘܢ ܘܒ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܒܢ̈ܝ ܒ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܘܕܘܝܕ ܥܒ̣ܕܝ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܕܒܪܢܐ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm mdbrn' lhwn nhw' ebdy wdwyd lelm bnyhwn wbny wbnyhwn hnwn bh wnthbwn 'bhyhwn bh dythbw yeqwb lebdy dyhbth b're' wnthbwn
They will dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived. They will dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, forever. David my servant will be their prince forever.

ܘܐܩܝܡ ܠܗܘܢ ܩܝܡܐ ܕܫܠܡܐ ܘܩܝܡܐ ܕܥܠܡ ܢܗܘܐ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܘܐܣܓܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܐܬܠ ܡܩܕܫܝ ܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm bynthhwn mqdshy w'thl 'nwn w'sg' emhwn nhw' delm wqym' dshlm' qym' lhwn w'qym
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It will be an everlasting covenant with them. I will place them, multiply them, and will set my sanctuary among them forever more.

ܘܢܗܘܐ ܒܝܬ ܡܫܪܝ ܒܗܘܢ ܘܗܢܘܢ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܝ ܥܡܐ

My tent also will be with them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܡܩܕܫ ܐܢܐ ܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܐ ܕܗܘܐ ܒܗܘܢ ܡܩܕܫܝ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm mqdshy bhwn dhw' m' l'ysryl 'n' dmqdsh mry' 'n' d'n' emm' wndewn
The nations will know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is among them forever more.”’”
