ܘܐܢܬ ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܥܠ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܫܡܥܘ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
mrwth' dmr' pthgmh shmew d'ysr'yl lTwr' w'mr d'ysryl Twr' el 'thnb' 'nsh' br w'nth
You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, “You mountains of Israel, hear Yahweh’s word.

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܐܡܪ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܐ ܐܚܢܝ ܘܐܡܪ ܕܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܕܡܢ ܥܠܡ ܕܝܠܢ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܝܘܪܬܢܐ
ywrthn' 'nyn dyln elm dmn drmth' w'mr 'khny beldbb' elykwn d'mr el mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn'
The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Because the enemy has said against you, “Aha!” and, “The ancient high places are ours in possession!”’

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܐܨܛܥܪܬܘܢ ܘܐܬܚܪܒܬܘܢ ܘܐܬܓܕܦܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܚܕܝܪ̈ܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܘܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܝܘܪܬܢܐ ܠܫܪܟܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܢܦܠܬܘܢ ܒܡܡܠܠܐ ܕܠܫ̈ܢܐ ܘܒܪܢܝܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ
demm' wbrny' dlshn' bmmll' wnplthwn demm' lshrk' ywrthn' whwythwn lkwn dkhdyryn 'ylyn mn w'thgdpthwn w'thkhrbthwn d'tsTerthwn el mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' w'mr 'thnb' hn' mTl
therefore prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;”

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܫܡܥܘ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܠܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܠܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܘܠܢܚ̈ܠܐ ܘܠܥܘܡ̈ܩܐ ܘܠܚܪ̈ܒܬܐ ܕܨ̈ܕܝܢ ܘܠܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ ܕܐܫܬܒܩ ܘܗ̈ܘܝ ܠܒܙܬܐ ܘܠܡܘܝܩܐ ܠܫܪܟܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܚܕܝܪ̈ܝܢ ܠܗܘܢ

therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: The Lord Yahweh says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܒܢܘܪܐ ܕܛܢܢܝ ܡܠ̇ܠܬ ܥܠ ܫܪܟܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܥܠ ܟܠܗ̇ ܐܕܘܡ ܥܠ ܕܥܒܕܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܪܥܝ ܠܝܘܪܬܢܐ ܒܚܕܘܬܐ ܕܠܒܗܘܢ ܨܥܪܘ ܢܦܫ̈ܬܐ ܕܢܫܒܘܢ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܘܢܒܙܘܢ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ
'nyn wnbzwn 'nyn dnshbwn npshth' tserw dlbhwn bkhdwth' lywrthn' 'rey lhwn debdw el 'dwm klh wel demm' shrk' el mllth dTnny bnwr' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' hn' mTl
therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.”’

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܘܠܪ̈ܡܬܐ ܘܠܢܚ̈ܠܐ ܘܠܥܘ̈ܡܩܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܠ̇ܠܬ ܒܛܢܢܝ ܘܒܚܡܬܝ ܥܠ ܕܩܒܠܬܘܢ ܚܣܕܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ
demm' khsd' dqblthwn el wbkhmthy bTnny mllth 'n' h' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' wlewmq' wlnkhl' wlrmth' lTwr' w'mr d'ysryl 're' el 'thnb' hn' mTl
Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains, the hills, the watercourses and the valleys, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations.”

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܐܪܝܡ̇ܬ ܐܝܕܝ ܥܠ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܚܕܝܪ̈ܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܢܩܒܠܘܢ ܚܣܕܗܘܢ
khsdhwn dnqblwn lkwn dkhdyryn emm' el 'ydy 'rymth 'n' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' hn' mTl
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “I have sworn, ‘Surely the nations that are around you will bear their shame.’

ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܥܘ̈ܦܝܟܘܢ ܬܬܠܘܢ ܘܦܐܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܬܪܒܘܢ ܠܥܡܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܛܠ ܕܩܪܒܘ ܠܡܐܬܐ
lm'th' dqrbw mTl 'ysryl lemy thrbwn wp'rykwn ththlwn ewpykwn d'ysryl Twr' dyn 'nthwn
“‘“But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot out your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.

ܘܗܐ ܡܬܦܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܘܬܬܦܠܚܘܢ ܘܬܙܕܪܥܘܢ
wthzdrewn wththplkhwn elykwn 'n' mthpn' wh'
For, behold, I am for you, and I will come to you, and you will be tilled and sown.

ܘܐܣܓܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܟܠܗ ܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܢܬܝ̈ܬܒܢ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ ܘܚܪ̈ܒܬܐ ܢܬ̈ܒܢܝܢ
nthbnyn wkhrbth' mdynth' wnthythbn 'ysryl byth dklh 'nsh' bny elykwn w'sg'
I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it. The cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be built.

ܘܐܣܓܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܒ̈ܢܝܢܫܐ ܘܒܥܝܪܐ ܘܢܟܒܪܘܢ ܘܢܣܓܘܢ ܘܐܘܬܒܟܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܘܐܛܐܒ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܢ ܪܫܝܬܐ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn rshyth' dmn 'yk lkwn w'T'b qdym dmn 'yk w'wthbkwn wnsgwn wnkbrwn wbeyr' bnynsh' elykwn w'sg'
I will multiply man and animal on you. They will increase and be fruitful. I will cause you to be inhabited as you were before, and you will do better than at your beginnings. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

ܘܐܗܠܟ ܒܟܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫ̈ܐ ܠܥܡܝ ܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ ܘܢܐܪܬܘܢܟܘܢ ܘܬܗܘܘܢ ܠܗܘܢ ܝܘܪܬܢܐ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܬܘܣܦܘܢ ܠܡܬܓܙܝܘ
lmthgzyw thwspwn l' wthwb ywrthn' lhwn wthhwwn wn'rthwnkwn 'ysr'yl lemy bnynsh' bkwn w'hlk
Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will never again bereave them of their children.”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܐܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܠܟܝ ܐܟ̇ܠܬ ܒܢܝܢ̈ܫܐ ܐܢܬܝ ܘܡܓܙܝܬ ܥܡܗ̇
emh wmgzyth 'nthy bnynsh' 'klth lky d'mryn el mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn'
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because they say to you, ‘You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation;’

ܡܟܝܠ ܒܢܝܢ̈ܫܐ ܠܐ ܬܐܟܠܝܢ ܘܥܡܟܝ ܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܬܓܙܝܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
mrwth' mr' 'mr thgzyn l' thwb wemky th'klyn l' bnynsh' mkyl
therefore you shall devour men no more, and not bereave your nation any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.

ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܐܫܡܥ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܚܣܕܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܨܥܪܗܘܢ ܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܬܩܒܠܝܢ ܘܥܡܟܝ ܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܬܓܙܝܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
mrwth' mr' 'mr thgzyn l' thwb wemky thqblyn l' thwb wtserhwn demm' khsd' elyky 'shme l' wthwb
“I won’t let you hear the shame of the nations any more. You won’t bear the reproach of the peoples any more, and you won’t cause your nation to stumble any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”

ܘܗܘܐ ܥܠܝ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ

Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܝܬ̇ܒܝܢ ܒܐܪܥܗܘܢ ܘܛܢܦܘܗ̇ ܒܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܗܘܢ ܘܒܨܢ̈ܥܬܗܘܢ ܘܐܝܟ ܛܡܐܘܬܐ ܕܟܦܣܢܝܬܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܗܘܬ ܩܕܡܝ ܐܘܪܚܗܘܢ
'wrkhhwn qdmy hwth hkn' dkpsnyth' Tm'wth' w'yk wbtsnethhwn b'wrkhthhwn wTnpwh b'rehwn ythbyn 'ysryl dbyth 'nsh' br
“Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and by their deeds. Their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.

ܘܐܫ̇ܕܬ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܐ ܕܐܫܕܘ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܛܢܦܘܗ̇ ܒܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ
bpthkryhwn wTnpwh b're' d'shdw dm' mTl elyhwn rwgzy w'shdth
Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.

ܘܒ̇ܕܪܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܕܪܝܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܡ̈ܕܝܢܬܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܗܘܢ ܘܐܝܟ ܨܢ̈ܥܬܗܘܢ ܕܢ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn dnth tsnethhwn w'yk 'wrkhthhwn w'yk bmdynth' 'nwn wdryth bemm' 'nwn wbdrth
I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. I judged them according to their way and according to their deeds.

ܘܐܙ̇ܠܘ ܠܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܛܘܫܘ ܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܥܡܗ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܡܢ ܐܪܥܗ ܢܦܩܘ

When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, in that men said of them, ‘These are Yahweh’s people, and have left his land.’

ܘܚܣ̇ܬ ܥܠ ܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ ܕܛܘܫܘܗܝ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܙܠܘ ܠܘܬܗܘܢ
lwthhwn d'zlw emm' byth 'ysryl dbyth dTwshwhy dqwdshy shm' el wkhsth
But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܠܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܛܠܬܟܘܢ ܥܒ̇ܕ ܐܢܐ ܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܠܐ ܡܛܠ ܫܡܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܝ ܕܛܘܫܬܘܢ ܒܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܙܠܬܘܢ ܠܘܬܗܘܢ
lwthhwn d'zlthwn bemm' dTwshthwn dqwdshy shm' mTl 'l' 'ysryl byth 'n' ebd mTlthkwn hw' l' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' 'ysryl ldbyth 'mr hn' mTl
“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.

ܕܐܩܕܫ ܫܡܝ ܪܒܐ ܕܐܬܛܘܫ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܛܘܫܬܘܢܝܗܝ ܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܡܐ ܕܐܬܩܕܫ̇ܬ ܒܟܘܢ ܠܥ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ
lenyhwn bkwn d'thqdshth m' mrwth' mr' 'mr mry' 'n' d'n' emm' wndewn bynthhwn dTwshthwnyhy emm' byth d'thTwsh rb' shmy d'qdsh
I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh, “when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.

ܘܐܕܒܪܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܟܢܫܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܡܕܝ̈ܢܬܐ ܘܐܝܬܝܟܘܢ ܠܐܪܥܟܘܢ
l'rekwn w'ythykwn mdynth' mn w'knshkwn emm' mn w'dbrkwn
“‘“For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.

ܘܐܪܘܣ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܡ̈ܝܐ ܕܟ̈ܝܐ ܘܐܕܟܝܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܠܗ̇ ܛܢܦܘܬܟܘܢ ܘܡܢ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ
pthkrykwn klhwn wmn Tnpwthkwn klh mn w'dkykwn dky' my' elykwn w'rws
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

ܘܐܬܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܒܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܘܪܘܚܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܐܬܠ ܒܓܘܟܘܢ ܘܐܥܒܪ ܠܒܐ ܕܟܐܦܐ ܡܢ ܒܣܪܟܘܢ ܘܐܬܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܒܐ ܕܒܣܪܐ
dbsr' lb' lkwn w'thl bsrkwn mn dk'p' lb' w'ebr bgwkwn 'thl khdth' wrwkh' khdth' lb' lkwn w'thl
I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

ܘܐܬܠ ܪܘܚܝ ܒܓܘܟܘܢ ܘܐܥܒܕ ܕܒܦܘ̈ܩܕܢܝ ܬܗܠܟܘܢ ܘܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܬܛܪܘܢ ܘܬܥܒܕܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn wthebdwn thTrwn wdyny thhlkwn dbpwqdny w'ebd bgwkwn rwkhy w'thl
I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them.

ܘܬܬܒܘܢ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܗ̇ܒܬ ܠܐ̈ܒܗܝܟܘܢ ܘܬܗܘܘܢ ܠܝ ܥܡܐ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܗܘܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' lkwn 'hw' w'n' em' ly wthhwwn l'bhykwn dyhbth b're' wththbwn
You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God.

ܘܐܦܪܘܩܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܠܗ̇ ܛܢܦܘܬܟܘܢ ܘܐܩܪܐ ܠܥܒܘܪܐ ܘܐܣܓܝܘܗܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܝܬܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܟܦܢܐ
kpn' elykwn 'yth' wl' w'sgywhy lebwr' w'qr' Tnpwthkwn klh mn w'prwqkwn
I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.

ܘܐܣܓܐ ܦܐܪ̈ܐ ܕܐ̈ܝܠܢܐ ܘܥ̈ܠܠܬܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܬܘܒ ܠܐ ܬܩܒܠܘܢ ܚܣܕܐ ܕܟܦܢܐ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ
emm' byth dkpn' khsd' thqblwn l' wthwb d're' wellth' d'yln' p'r' w'sg'
I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.

ܘܬܬܕܟܪܘܢ ܬܡܢ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܟܘܢ ܒܝܫ̈ܬܐ ܘܨܢ̈ܥܬܟܘܢ ܫ̈ܛܝܬܐ ܘܢܬܩ̈ܡܛܢ ܐ̈ܦܝܟܘܢ ܒܥܘ̣ܠܟܘܢ ܘܒ̈ܛܢܦܘܬܟܘܢ
wbTnpwthkwn bewlkwn 'pykwn wnthqmTn shTyth' wtsnethkwn byshth' 'wrkhthkwn thmn wththdkrwn
“‘“Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

ܘܕܥܘ ܕܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܛܠܬܟܘܢ ܥܒ̇ܕ ܐܢܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܒܗܬܘ ܘܐܬܬܟܣܘ ܡܢ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܟܘܢ ܒܝܫ̈ܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܬܡܘܬܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ
'ysr'yl dbyth thmwthwn wl' byshth' 'wrkhthkwn mn w'ththksw bhthw mrwth' mr' 'mr hlyn 'n' ebd mTlthkwn hw' dl' wdew
I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܡܕܟܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܟܠܗ ܥܘ̣ܠܟܘܢ ܡܘܬܒ ܐܢܐ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ ܘܒܢ̇ܐ ܐܢܐ ܚܪ̈ܒܬܐ

“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited and the waste places will be built.

ܘܐܪܥܐ ܕܚܪܒܐ ܗܘܬ ܬܬܦܠܚ ܕܨܕܝܐ ܗܘܬ ܒܥܝܢ̈ܝ ܟܠ ܕܥܒ̇ܪ
debr kl beyny hwth dtsdy' ththplkh hwth dkhrb' w're'
The land that was desolate will be tilled instead of being a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.

ܘܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܗ̇ܝ ܚܪܒܬܐ ܗܘܬ ܐܝܟ ܦܪܕܝܣܐ ܕܥܕܢ ܘܡ̈ܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܚܪ̈ܒܢ ܗ̈ܘܝ ܘܡܣܚ̈ܦܢ ܗ̈ܘܝ ܟܪ̈ܟܐ ܥܫ̈ܝܢܐ
eshyn' krk' hwy wmskhpn hwy dkhrbn wmdynth' dedn prdys' 'yk hwth khrbth' hy 're' wn'mrwn
They will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The waste, desolate, and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’

ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܡܫܬܚܪ̈ܝܢ ܚܕܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܢ̇ܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܣ̈ܚܦܬܐ ܘܢܨ̇ܒ ܐܢܐ ܚܪ̈ܒܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܘܥܒ̇ܕ ܐܢܐ
'n' webd 'mrth mry' 'n' khrbth' 'n' wntsb mskhpth' 'n' bn' mry' d'n' khdrykwn dmshthkhryn emm' wndewn
Then the nations that are left around you will know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places and planted that which was desolate. I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it.”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܬܘܒ ܒܗܕܐ ܬܒ̇ܥ ܐܢܐ ܠܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܐܥܒܕ ܠܗܘܢ ܘܐܣܓܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܥܢܐ ܕܒܢܝܢ̈ܫܐ
dbnynsh' en' 'yk 'nwn w'sg' lhwn d'ebd 'ysryl ldbyth 'n' thbe bhd' thwb mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn'
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “For this, moreover, I will be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.

ܐܝܟ ܥܢܐ ܩܕܝܫ̈ܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܢܐ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܥܕܥܐ̈ܕܝܗ̇ ܗܟܢܐ ܢܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܡ̈ܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܚܪ̈ܒܢ ܗ̈ܘܝ ܘܢ̈ܬܡܠܝܢ ܥܢܐ ܕܒܢܝܢܫ̈ܐ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'n' d'n' wndewn dbnynsh' en' wnthmlyn hwy dkhrbn mdynth' nhwyn hkn' dede'dyh bzbn' d'wrshlm en' 'yk qdyshth' en' 'yk
As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the waste cities will be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
