ואת בר אדם אתנבי על טורי ישראל ותימר טורי ישראל קבילו פתגם יי:
yy pthgm qbylw yshral Twry wthymr yshral Twry el athnby adm br wath
You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, “You mountains of Israel, hear Yahweh’s word.

כדנן אמר יי אלהים חלף די אמר סנאה אליכון חדוא ובמת עלם לירותא הות לנא:
lna hwth lyrwtha elm wbmth khdwa alykwn snah amr dy khlp alhym yy amr kdnn
The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Because the enemy has said against you, “Aha!” and, “The ancient high places are ours in possession!”’

בכן אתנבי ותימר כדנן אמר יי אלהים חלף די אתרברבו וחלף דחשיבו לאחרבא ולאצדאה יתכון מסחור סחור למהויכון ירותא לשארא דעממיא ואתאמרתון על שפת לישן ורננת עם:
em wrnnth lyshn shpth el wathamrthwn demmya lshara yrwtha lmhwykwn skhwr mskhwr ythkwn wlatsdah lakhrba dkhshybw wkhlp athrbrbw dy khlp alhym yy amr kdnn wthymr athnby bkn
therefore prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;”

בכן טורי ישראל קבילו פתגמא דיי אלהים כדנן אמר יי אלהים לטוריא ולרמתא לפצידיא ולחיליא ולחרבתא צדיתא ולקרויא שביקתא דהואה לחוך וללעב לשארא דעממיא דמסחור סחור:
skhwr dmskhwr demmya lshara wlleb lkhwk dhwah shbyqtha wlqrwya tsdytha wlkhrbtha wlkhylya lptsydya wlrmtha lTwrya alhym yy amr kdnn alhym dyy pthgma qbylw yshral Twry bkn
therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: The Lord Yahweh says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;

בכן כדנן אמר יי אלהים אם לא באשת פורענותי גזרית במימרי על שארא דעממיא ועל אדומאי כולהון דיהבו ית ארעא בית שכנתי להון לירותא בחדות כל לב בצפוח נפש בדיל לתרכותה למבזה:
lmbzh lthrkwthh bdyl npsh btspwkh lb kl bkhdwth lyrwtha lhwn shknthy byth area yth dyhbw kwlhwn adwmay wel demmya shara el bmymry gzryth pwrenwthy bashth la am alhym yy amr kdnn bkn
therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.”’

בכן אתנבי על ארעא דישראל ותימר לטוריא ולרמתא לפצידיא ולחיליא כדנן אמר יי אלהים הא אנא ברוגזי ובחימתי גזרית במימרי חלף דאתכנעות עממיא קבילתון:
qbylthwn emmya dathknewth khlp bmymry gzryth wbkhymthy brwgzy ana ha alhym yy amr kdnn wlkhylya lptsydya wlrmtha lTwrya wthymr dyshral area el athnby bkn
Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains, the hills, the watercourses and the valleys, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations.”

בכן כדנן אמר יי אלהים אנא קימית במימרי אם לא עממיא די בזו יתכון מסחור סחור אינון אתכנעותהון יקבלון:
yqblwn athknewthhwn aynwn skhwr mskhwr ythkwn bzw dy emmya la am bmymry qymyth ana alhym yy amr kdnn bkn
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “I have sworn, ‘Surely the nations that are around you will bear their shame.’

ואתון טורי ישראל אבכון תצלחון ופריכון תתענון לעמי ישראל ארי קריב יום פורקני למיתי:
lmythy pwrqny ywm qryb ary yshral lemy ththenwn wprykwn thtslkhwn abkwn yshral Twry wathwn
“‘“But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot out your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.

ארי הא אנא מתגלי עליכון ואתפני במימרי לאיטבא לכון ותתפלחון ותזדרעון:
wthzdrewn wththplkhwn lkwn layTba bmymry wathpny elykwn mthgly ana ha ary
For, behold, I am for you, and I will come to you, and you will be tilled and sown.

ואסגי עליכון אנשא כל בית ישראל כולהון ויתיתבן קרויא וחרבתא יתבנין:
ythbnyn wkhrbtha qrwya wythythbn kwlhwn yshral byth kl ansha elykwn wasgy
I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it. The cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be built.

ואסגי עליכון אנשא ובעירא ויסגון ויפשון ואתיב יתכון כדמלקדמין ואוטיב לכון כדמן אולא ותידעון ארי אנא יי:
yy ana ary wthydewn awla kdmn lkwn wawTyb kdmlqdmyn ythkwn wathyb wypshwn wysgwn wbeyra ansha elykwn wasgy
I will multiply man and animal on you. They will increase and be fruitful. I will cause you to be inhabited as you were before, and you will do better than at your beginnings. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

ואסגי עליכון אנשא ית עמי ישראל ויחסנונך ותהי להון לאחסנא ולא תוסיף עוד לתכלותהון:
lthklwthhwn ewd thwsyp wla lakhsna lhwn wthhy wykhsnwnk yshral emy yth ansha elykwn wasgy
Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will never again bereave them of their children.”

כדנן אמר יי אלהים חלף דאמרין לכון מקטלת אנשא את ומתכלת עמיך הוית:
hwyth emyk wmthklth ath ansha mqTlth lkwn damryn khlp alhym yy amr kdnn
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because they say to you, ‘You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation;’

בכן אנשא לא תתקטלין עוד ועמיך לא תתכלין עוד אמר יי אלהים:
alhym yy amr ewd ththklyn la wemyk ewd ththqTlyn la ansha bkn
therefore you shall devour men no more, and not bereave your nation any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.

ולא אשמע ליך עוד אתכנעות עממיא וחסודי עממיא לא תקבלין עוד ועמיך לא תתכלין עוד אמר יי אלהים:
alhym yy amr ewd ththklyn la wemyk ewd thqblyn la emmya wkhswdy emmya athknewth ewd lyk ashme wla
“I won’t let you hear the shame of the nations any more. You won’t bear the reproach of the peoples any more, and you won’t cause your nation to stumble any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”

והוה פתגם נבואה מן קדם יי עמי למימר:
lmymr emy yy qdm mn nbwah pthgm whwh
Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

בר אדם בית ישראל יתבין על ארעהון וסאיבו יתה באורחתהון ובעובדיהון כסואבת אתתא טומאה הות אורחתהון קדמי:
qdmy awrkhthhwn hwth Twmah aththa kswabth wbewbdyhwn bawrkhthhwn ythh wsaybw arehwn el ythbyn yshral byth adm br
“Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and by their deeds. Their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.

ושפיכת חימתי עליהון על דם זכאי דאשדו על ארעא ובפולחן טעותהון סאבוה:
sabwh Tewthhwn wbpwlkhn area el dashdw zkay dm el elyhwn khymthy wshpykth
Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.

ואגליתי יתהון לביני עממיא ואתבדרו במדינתא כאורחתהון בישתא וכעובדיהון מקלקליא אתפרעית מנהון:
mnhwn athpreyth mqlqlya wkewbdyhwn byshtha kawrkhthhwn bmdyntha wathbdrw emmya lbyny ythhwn waglythy
I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. I judged them according to their way and according to their deeds.
20
ועלו לביני עממיא דאתגליאו לתמן על דאחילו ית שמא דקודשי בדאמרין להון אם עמיה דיי אלין ואיכדין מארעא בית שכינתיה גלו:
glw shkynthyh byth marea waykdyn alyn dyy emyh am lhwn bdamryn dqwdshy shma yth dakhylw el lthmn dathglyaw emmya lbyny welw
When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, in that men said of them, ‘These are Yahweh’s people, and have left his land.’

וחסית על שמא דקודשי דאחילוהי בית ישראל ביני עממיא דאתגליאו לתמן:
lthmn dathglyaw emmya byny yshral byth dakhylwhy dqwdshy shma el wkhsyth
But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.

בכן אמר לבית ישראל כדנן אמר יי אלהים לא בדילכון אנא עביד בית ישראל אלהין על שמא דקודשי דאחילתון ביני עממיא דאתגליתון לתמן:
lthmn dathglythwn emmya byny dakhylthwn dqwdshy shma el alhyn yshral byth ebyd ana bdylkwn la alhym yy amr kdnn yshral lbyth amr bkn
“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.

ואקדיש ית שמי רבא דאתחל ביני עממיא דאחילתון ביניהון וידעון עממיא ארי אנא יי אמר יי אלהים כד אתקדש בכון לעיניהון:
leynyhwn bkwn athqdsh kd alhym yy amr yy ana ary emmya wydewn bynyhwn dakhylthwn emmya byny dathkhl rba shmy yth waqdysh
I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh, “when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.
24
ואקריב יתכון מביני עממיא ואכניש יתכון מכל מדינתא ואעיל יתכון לארעכון:
larekwn ythkwn waeyl mdyntha mkl ythkwn waknysh emmya mbyny ythkwn waqryb
“‘“For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.

ואשבוק לחוביכון כמא דמדכן במי אדיותא ובקטם תורתא דחטאתא ותדכון מכל סאבתכון ומכל טעותכון אדכי יתכון:
ythkwn adky Tewthkwn wmkl sabthkwn mkl wthdkwn dkhTatha thwrtha wbqTm adywtha bmy dmdkn kma lkhwbykwn washbwq
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

ואתן לכון לב דחיל ורוח דחילא אתן במיעיכון ואתבר ית לבא דרשיעא דהוא תקיף כאבנא מבסריכון ואתן לכון לב דחיל קדמי למעבד רעותי:
rewthy lmebd qdmy dkhyl lb lkwn wathn mbsrykwn kabna thqyp dhwa drshyea lba yth wathbr bmyeykwn athn dkhyla wrwkh dkhyl lb lkwn wathn
I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27
וית רוח קודשי אתן במיעיכון ואעביד ית די בקימי תהכון ודיני תטרון ותעבדון:
wthebdwn thTrwn wdyny thhkwn bqymy dy yth waebyd bmyeykwn athn qwdshy rwkh wyth
I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them.
28
ותיתבון בארעא דיהבית לאבהתכון ותהון קדמי לעם ואנא אהוי לכון לאלהא:
lalha lkwn ahwy wana lem qdmy wthhwn labhthkwn dyhbyth barea wthythbwn
You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
29
ואפרוק יתכון מכל סואבתכון ואברך ית עבורא ואסגי יתיה ולא אתן עליכון כפנא:
kpna elykwn athn wla ythyh wasgy ebwra yth wabrk swabthkwn mkl ythkwn waprwq
I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.
30
ואסגי ית פרי אילנא ועללת דקלא בדיל דלא תקבלון עוד חסודי כפנא ביני עממיא:
emmya byny kpna khswdy ewd thqblwn dla bdyl dqla wellth aylna pry yth wasgy
I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
31
ותדכרון ית אורחיכון בישתא ועובדיכון דלא תקנין ותדנקון ותהון חזן על חוביכון ועל תועבתיכון:
thwebthykwn wel khwbykwn el khzn wthhwn wthdnqwn thqnyn dla wewbdykwn byshtha awrkhykwn yth wthdkrwn
“‘“Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32
לא בדילכון אנא עביד אמר יי אלהים יתידע לכון בהיתו ואתכניעו מאורחתכון בית ישראל:
yshral byth mawrkhthkwn wathknyew bhythw lkwn ythyde alhym yy amr ebyd ana bdylkwn la
I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”
33
כדנן אמר יי אלהים ביומא דאדכי יתכון מכל חוביכון ואתיב ית קרויא ויתבנין חורבתא:
khwrbtha wythbnyn qrwya yth wathyb khwbykwn mkl ythkwn dadky bywma alhym yy amr kdnn
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited and the waste places will be built.
34
וארעא דהות צדיא תתפלח חלף דהות צדו לעיני כל דעדי:
dedy kl leyny tsdw dhwth khlp ththplkh tsdya dhwth warea
The land that was desolate will be tilled instead of being a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.
35
וימרון ארעא דנן דישראל דהות צדיא תבת למהוי כגינתא דעדן וקרויא חרבתא וצדיתא ומפגרתא כריכין תקיפין יתיבו:
ythybw thqypyn krykyn wmpgrtha wtsdytha khrbtha wqrwya dedn kgyntha lmhwy thbth tsdya dhwth dyshral dnn area wymrwn
They will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The waste, desolate, and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’
36
וידעון עממיא די ישתארון סחרניכון ארי אנא יי בניתי מפגרתא קימית צדיתא אנא יי גזרית במימרי ואקים:
waqym bmymry gzryth yy ana tsdytha qymyth mpgrtha bnythy yy ana ary skhrnykwn yshtharwn dy emmya wydewn
Then the nations that are left around you will know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places and planted that which was desolate. I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it.”
37
כדנן אמר יי אלהים עוד דא אשתאיל לכון במימרי לבית ישראל למעבד להון אסגינון באנשא ואצלחינון בבעירא:
bbeyra watslkhynwn bansha asgynwn lhwn lmebd yshral lbyth bmymry lkwn ashthayl da ewd alhym yy amr kdnn
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “For this, moreover, I will be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.
38
כעמא קדישא כעמא דמדכן ואתן לירושלם בזמן מועדי פסחא כן יהוין קרויא ארעא דישראל דהואה חריבן יהון מלין אנשא דעמא בית ישראל וידעון ארי אנא יי:
yy ana ary wydewn yshral byth dema ansha mlyn yhwn khrybn dhwah dyshral area qrwya yhwyn kn pskha mwedy bzmn lyrwshlm wathn dmdkn kema qdysha kema
As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the waste cities will be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
