ܘܗܘܐ ܥܠܝ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ

Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

ܒܪܢܫܐ ܣܝܡ ܐ̈ܦܝܟ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܕܣܥܝܪ ܘܐܬܢܒܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ
brnsh' sym 'pyk lTwr' dseyr w'thnb' elwhy
“Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it,

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܠܝܟ ܛܘܪܐ ܕܣܥܝܪ ܘܐܪܝܡ ܐܝܕܝ ܥܠܝܟ ܘܐܥܒܕܟ ܠܚܒܠܐ ܘܠܬܡܗܐ
w'mr lh hkn' 'mr mr' mrwth' h' 'n' elyk Twr' dseyr w'rym 'ydy elyk w'ebdk lkhbl' wlthmh'
and tell it, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you. I will make you a desolation and an astonishment.

ܘܡܕܝ̈ܢܬܟ ܐܥܒܕ ܠܚܘܪܒܐ ܘܐܢܬ ܬܗܘܐ ܠܚܒܠܐ ܘܬܕܥ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
wmdynthk 'ebd lkhwrb' w'nth thhw' lkhbl' wthde d'n' 'n' mry'
I will lay your cities waste, and you will be desolate. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

ܥܠ ܕܗܘܬ ܠܟ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܘܬܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܘܐܫܠܡܬ ܠܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܐܝܕܐ ܕܣܝܦܐ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܥܩܬܗܘܢ ܘܒܙܒܢܐ ܕܥܘ̣ܠܐ ܕܩܨܗܘܢ
el dhwth lk beldbbwth' lelm w'shlmth lbny 'ysryl l'yd' dsyp' bzbn' deqthhwn wbzbn' dewl' dqtshwn
“‘“Because you have had a perpetual hostility, and have given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end,

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܚܝ ܐܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܕܠܕܡܐ ܐܥܒܕܟ ܘܕܡܐ ܢܪܕܦܟ ܕܡܐ ܕܣܢܝܬ ܗܘ ܕܡܐ ܢܪܕܦܟ
mTl hn' khy 'n' 'mr mr' mrwth' dldm' 'ebdk wdm' nrdpk dm' dsnyth hw dm' nrdpk
therefore, as I live,” says the Lord Yahweh, “I will prepare you for blood, and blood will pursue you. Since you have not hated blood, therefore blood will pursue you.

ܘܐܥܒܕܝܘܗܝ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܕܣܥܝܪ ܠܚܒܠܐ ܘܠܬܡܗܐ ܘܐܘܒܕ ܡܢܗ ܕܥܒ̇ܪ ܘܕܬܐ̇ܒ
w'ebdywhy lTwr' dseyr lkhbl' wlthmh' w'wbd mnh debr wdth'b
Thus I will make Mount Seir an astonishment and a desolation. I will cut off from it him who passes through and him who returns.

ܘܐܡܠܐ ܛܘܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܚܪ̈ܝܒܘܗܝ ܫܩ̈ܝܦܝܟ ܘܪ̈ܡܬܟ ܘܢܚ̈ܠܝܟ ܚܪ̈ܝܒܐ ܕܣܝܦܐ ܢܦܠܘܢ ܒܗܘܢ
w'ml' Twrwhy mn khrybwhy shqypyk wrmthk wnkhlyk khryb' dsyp' nplwn bhwn
I will fill its mountains with its slain. The slain with the sword will fall in your hills and in your valleys and in all your watercourses.

ܘܐܥܒܕܟ ܚܘܪܒܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܘܡܕܝ̈ܢܬܟ ܠܐ ܢܬܝ̈ܬܒܢ ܘܬܕܥ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
w'ebdk khwrb' lelm wmdynthk l' nthythbn wthde d'n' 'n' mry'
I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

ܥܠ ܕܐܡܪܬ ܕܬܪ̈ܝܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܝܢ ܘܬܪ̈ܬܝܢ ܡ̈ܠܟܘܢ ܕܝܠܝ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܪܬ ܐ̈ܢܝܢ ܘܡܪܝܐ ܬܡܢ ܗܘܐ
el d'mrth dthryn emmyn wthrthyn mlkwn dyly 'nyn w'n' 'rth 'nyn wmry' thmn hw'
“‘“Because you have said, ‘These two nations and these two countries will be mine, and we will possess it,’ although Yahweh was there,

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܚܝ ܐܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܕܐܥܒܕ ܠܟ ܐܝܟ ܪܘܓܙܟ ܘܐܝܟ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܘܬܟ ܕܥܒܕܬ ܘܣܢܝܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܐܬܓܠܐ ܒܗܘܢ ܡܐ ܕܕܐ̇ܢ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ
mTl hn' khy 'n' 'mr mr' mrwth' d'ebd lk 'yk rwgzk w'yk beldbbwthk debdth wsnyth 'nwn w'thgl' bhwn m' dd'n 'n' lk
therefore, as I live,” says the Lord Yahweh, “I will do according to your anger, and according to your envy which you have shown out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them when I judge you.

ܘܬܕܥ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܫ̇ܡܥܬ ܟܘܠܗ ܓܘܕܦܟ ܕܐܡܪܬ ܥܠ ܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܚܪܒܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܡܐܟܘܠܬܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܝܠܢ
wthde d'n' 'n' mry' shmeth kwlh gwdpk d'mrth el Twr' d'ysryl dkhrbyn 'nwn wm'kwlth' 'nwn dyln
You will know that I, Yahweh, have heard all your insults which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, ‘They have been laid desolate. They have been given to us to devour.’

ܘܐܘܪܟܬܘܢ ܥܠܝ ܦܘܡܟܘܢ ܘܐܣܓܝܬܘܢ ܥܠܝ ܡ̈ܠܝܟܘܢ ܘܐܢܐ ܫܡܥ̇ܬ
w'wrkthwn ely pwmkwn w'sgythwn ely mlykwn w'n' shmeth
You have magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me. I have heard it.”

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܠܛܘܪܐ ܕܣܥܝܪ ܕܫܪܐ ܒܚܕܘܬܐ ܕܟܠܗ̇ ܐܪܥܐ ܠܚܒܠܐ ܐܥܒܕܟ
hkn' 'mr mr' mrwth' lTwr' dseyr dshr' bkhdwth' dklh 're' lkhbl' 'ebdk
The Lord Yahweh says: “When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

ܥܠ ܕܚܕܝܬ ܠܝܪܬܘܬܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܚܪܒܬ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܥܒܕ ܠܟ ܠܚܒܠܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܛܘܪܐ ܕܣܥܝܪ ܘܐܕܘܡ ܟܠܗ̇ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
el dkhdyth lyrthwth' dbyth 'ysryl dkhrbth hkn' 'ebd lk lkhbl' thhw' Twr' dseyr w'dwm klh wndewn d'n' 'n' mry'
As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so I will do to you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
