ܘܗܘܐ ܒܫܢܬܐ ܫܒܝܥܝܬܐ ܒܥܣܪܬܐ ܒܝܪܚܐ ܚܡܝܫܝܐ ܐܬܘ ܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܡܢ ܣܒ̈ܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܡܫܐܠ ܡܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܝܬܒܘ ܩܕܡܝ
qdmy wythbw mry' mn lmsh'l d'ysryl sb' mn gbr' 'thw khmyshy' byrkh' besrth' shbyeyth' bshnth' whw'
In the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, some of the elders of Israel came to inquire of Yahweh, and sat before me.

ܘܗܘܐ ܥܠܝ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ

Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܡܠܠ ܥܡ ܣܒ̈ܐ ܕܒ̈ܢܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܠܡܫܐܠܘܬܢܝ ܐܬ̇ܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܚܝ ܐܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܬܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܦܬܓܡܐ

“Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel, and tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Is it to inquire of me that you have come? As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh, “I will not be inquired of by you.”’

ܕܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܘܚܘܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܛܢܦܘܬܐ ܕܐ̈ܒܗܝܗܘܢ

“Will you judge them, son of man? Will you judge them? Cause them to know the abominations of their fathers.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܓܒ̇ܝܬ ܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܪܝܡ̇ܬ ܐܝܕܝ ܥܠ ܙܪܥܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܝܥܩܘܒ ܘܐܬܓ̇ܠܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܘܐܪܝܡ̇ܬ ܐܝܕܝ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܘܢ
'lhkwn mry' 'n' 'n' lhwn w'mrth 'ydy w'rymth dmtsryn b're' lhwn w'thglyth yeqwb dbyth zre' el 'ydy 'rymth l'ysryl dgbyth bywm' mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' lhwn w'mr
Tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “In the day when I chose Israel, and swore to the offspring of the house of Jacob, and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I swore to them, saying, ‘I am Yahweh your God;’

ܒܗ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܐܪܝܡ̇ܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܝܕܝ ܕܐܦܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܗ̇ܒܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܡܪܕܝܐ ܚܠܒܐ ܘܕܒܫܐ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܗܝ ܕܟܠܗܝܢ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ
mdynth' dklhyn hy shwbkh' wdbsh' khlb' dmrdy' lhwn dyhbth l're' dmtsryn 're' mn 'nwn d'pq 'ydy lhwn 'rymth hw bywm' bh
in that day I swore to them to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.

ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܥܒܪܘ ܐܢܫ ܦܬܟܪܗ ܡܢ ܥܝ̈ܢܘܗܝ ܘܒܕܚ̈ܠܬܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܠܐ ܬܬܛܢܦܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܘܢ
'lhkwn mry' 'n' 'n' ththTnpwn l' dmtsryn wbdkhlth' eynwhy mn pthkrh 'nsh 'ebrw lhwn w'mrth
I said to them, ‘Each of you throw away the abominations of his eyes. Don’t defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’

ܘܡܪܡܪܘܢܝ ܘܠܐ ܨܒܘ ܠܡܫܡܥܢܝ ܘܠܐ ܐܥܒܪܘ ܦܬܟܪ̈ܐ ܡܢ ܥܝܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܫܒܩܘ ܕܚ̈ܠܬܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܕܐܫܘܕ ܚܡܬܝ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܘܐܫܡܠܐ ܒܗܘܢ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܒܓܘ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ
dmtsryn 're' bgw rwgzy bhwn w'shml' elyhwn khmthy d'shwd w'mrth dmtsryn dkhlth' shbqw wl' eynyhwn mn pthkr' 'ebrw wl' lmshmeny tsbw wl' wmrmrwny
“‘“But they rebelled against me and wouldn’t listen to me. They didn’t all throw away the abominations of their eyes. They also didn’t forsake the idols of Egypt. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them, to accomplish my anger against them in the middle of the land of Egypt.

ܘܚܣ̇ܬ ܡܛܠ ܫܡܝ ܕܠܐ ܢܬܛܘܫ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܬ̇ܓܠܝܬ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܠܥܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܕܐܦܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ
dmtsryn 're' mn 'nwn d'pq lenyhwn elyhwn d'thglyth emm' byth nthTwsh dl' shmy mTl wkhsth
But I worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among which they were, in whose sight I made myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

ܘܐܦܩ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܘܐܝܬܝܬ̇ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܡܕܒܪܐ
lmdbr' 'nwn w'ythyth dmtsryn 're' mn 'nwn w'pqth
So I caused them to go out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness.

ܘܝܗܒ̇ܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܘܕܝ̈ܢܝ ܐܘܕܥܬ̇ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܐܢ ܥܒ̇ܕ ܠܗܘܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܚܝ̇ܐ ܒܗܘܢ
bhwn khy' brnsh' lhwn ebd d'n 'nwn 'wdeth wdyny pwqdny lhwn wyhbth
I gave them my statutes and showed them my ordinances, which if a man does, he will live in them.

ܘܐܦ ܫܒ̈ܝ ܝܗܒ̇ܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܢܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܐܬܐ ܒܝܢ̈ܝ ܘܠܗܘܢ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܡܩܕܫ ܐܢܐ ܠܗܘܢ
lhwn 'n' dmqdsh mry' 'n' d'n' wndewn wlhwn byny 'th' dnhwyn lhwn yhbth shby w'p
Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies them.

ܘܡܪܡܪܘܢܝ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ ܘܒܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܠܐ ܗܠܟܘ ܘܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܐܣܠܝܘ ܕܐܢ ܥܒ̇ܕ ܠܗܘܢ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܚܝ̇ܐ ܒܗܘܢ ܘܫ̈ܒܝ ܛܘܫܘ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܕܐܫܘܕ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ ܘܐܘܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn w'wbd bmdbr' elyhwn rwgzy d'shwd w'mrth Twshw wshby bhwn khy' brnsh' lhwn ebd d'n 'slyw wdyny hlkw l' wbpwqdny bmdbr' 'ysryl dbyth wmrmrwny
“‘“But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They didn’t walk in my statutes and they rejected my ordinances, which if a man keeps, he shall live in them. They greatly profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness, to consume them.

ܘܚ̇ܣܬ ܡܛܠ ܫܡܝ ܕܠܐ ܢܬܛܘܫ ܠܥܝܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܦܩ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܥܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ
lenyhwn 'nwn d'pqth emm' leyn nthTwsh dl' shmy mTl wkhsth
But I worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.

ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܐܪܝܡ̇ܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܝܕܝ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܥ̇ܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܗ̇ܒܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܡܪܕܝܐ ܚܠܒܐ ܘܕܒܫܐ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܗܝ ܕܟܠܗܝܢ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ
mdynth' dklhyn hy shwbkh' wdbsh' khlb' dmrdy' lhwn dyhbth l're' 'nwn 'el dl' bmdbr' 'ydy lhwn 'rymth 'n' 'p
Moreover also I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands,

ܥܠ ܕܐܣܠܝܘ ܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܘܫ̈ܒܝ ܛܒ ܛܘܫܘ ܘܒܬܪ ܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܐܙܠ ܠܒܗܘܢ
lbhwn 'zl pthkryhwn wbthr Twshw Tb wshby dyny d'slyw el
because they rejected my ordinances, and didn’t walk in my statutes, and profaned my Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols.

ܘܚܣܬ ܥܝܢܝ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܐܚܒܠ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܐ ܐܣܝܦ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ
bmdbr' 'nwn 'syp wl' 'nwn 'khbl dl' elyhwn eyny wkhsth
Nevertheless my eye spared them, and I didn’t destroy them. I didn’t make a full end of them in the wilderness.

ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܠܒ̈ܢܝܗܘܢ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ ܕܒܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܐ ܕܐ̈ܒܗܝܟܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܗܠܟܘܢ ܘܕܝܢ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܛܪܘܢ ܘܒܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܬܛܢܦܘܢ
ththTnpwn l' wbpthkryhwn thTrwn l' wdynyhwn thhlkwn l' d'bhykwn dbpwqdn' bmdbr' lbnyhwn w'mrth
I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Don’t walk in the statutes of your fathers. Don’t observe their ordinances or defile yourselves with their idols.

ܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܘܢ ܒܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܗܠܟܘ ܘܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܛܪܘ ܘܥܒܕܘ ܐܢܘܢ
'nwn webdw Trw wdyny hlkw bpwqdny 'lhkwn mry' 'n' 'n'
I am Yahweh your God. Walk in my statutes, keep my ordinances, and do them.

ܘܩܕܫܘ ܫܒ̈ܝ ܘܢܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܐܬܐ ܒܝ̈ܢܝ ܘܠܟܘܢ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܘܢ
'lhkwn mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn wlkwn byny 'th' wnhwyn shby wqdshw
Make my Sabbaths holy. They shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.’

ܘܡܪܡܪܘܢܝ ܒ̈ܢܝܐ ܘܒܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܠܐ ܗܠܟܘ ܘܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܠܐ ܢܛܪܘ ܘܠܐ ܥܒܕܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܐܢ ܥܒ̇ܕ ܠܗܘܢ ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܚܝ̇ܐ ܒܗܘܢ ܘܫ̈ܒܝ ܛܘܫܘ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܕܐܫܘܕ ܚܡܬܝ ܘܐܫܡܠܐ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ
bmdbr' rwgzy elyhwn w'shml' khmthy d'shwd w'mrth Twshw wshby bhwn khy' 'nsh' br lhwn ebd d'n 'nwn ebdw wl' nTrw l' wdyny hlkw l' wbpwqdny bny' wmrmrwny
“‘“But the children rebelled against me. They didn’t walk in my statutes, and didn’t keep my ordinances to do them, which if a man does, he shall live in them. They profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

ܘܚܣܬ ܡܛܠ ܫܡܝ ܕܠܐ ܢܬܛܘܫ ܒܝܬ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܐܦܩ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܥܢܝ̈ܗܘܢ
lenyhwn 'nwn d'pqth emm' byth nthTwsh dl' shmy mTl wkhsth
Nevertheless I withdrew my hand and worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.

ܐܠܐ ܐܪܝܡ̇ܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܝܕܝ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ ܕܐܒܕܪ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܕܪܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܐܪ̈ܥܬܐ
b'reth' 'nwn w'dr' bemm' 'nwn d'bdr bmdbr' 'ydy lhwn 'rymth 'l'
Moreover I swore to them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries,

ܥܠ ܕܠܐ ܥܒܕܘ ܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܘܐܣܠܝܘ ܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܘܛܘܫܘ ܫ̈ܒܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܦܬܟܪ̈ܐ ܕܐܒ̈ܗܝܗܘܢ ܐܙܠ ܥܝܢ̈ܝܗܘܢ
eynyhwn 'zl d'bhyhwn pthkr' wbthr shby wTwshw pwqdny w'slyw dyny ebdw dl' el
because they had not executed my ordinances, but had rejected my statutes, and had profaned my Sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols.

ܘܐܢܐ ܝܗܒ̇ܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܫܦܝܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܕܝ̈ܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܢܚܘܢ ܒܗܘܢ
bhwn nkhwn dl' wdyn' shpyryn dl' pwqdn' lhwn yhbth w'n'
Moreover also I gave them statutes that were not good, and ordinances in which they couldn’t live.

ܘܛܢ̇ܦܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܡܘܗ̈ܒܬܗܘܢ ܡܐ ܕܡܩܪܒܝܢ ܒܘܟܪ̈ܐ ܘܐܘܒܕ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'n' d'n' wndewn 'nwn w'wbd bwkr' dmqrbyn m' bmwhbthhwn 'nwn wTnpth
I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused all that opens the womb to pass through the fire, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am Yahweh.”’

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܡܠܠ ܥܡ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܬܘܒ ܒܗܕܐ ܓܕܦܘ ܩܕܡܝ ܐܒ̈ܗܝܟܘܢ ܒܥܘ̇ܠܗܘܢ ܕܐܥܠܝܘ ܒܝ
by d'elyw bewlhwn 'bhykwn qdmy gdpw bhd' thwb mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' lhwn w'mr 'ysryl dbyth em mll 'nsh' br hn' mTl
“Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel, and tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Moreover, in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.

ܘܐܝܬܝ̇ܬ ܐܢܘܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܪܝܡ̇ܬ ܐܝܕܝ ܠܡܬܠܗ̇ ܠܗܘܢ ܘܚܙܘ ܟܘܠ ܪܡܬܐ ܕܪܡܐ ܘܟܠ ܐܝܠܢ ܕܡܛܠ ܘܕܒܚܘ ܬܡܢ ܕܒܚܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܘܩܪܒܘ ܬܡܢ ܩܘܪ̈ܒܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܣܡܘ ܬܡܢ ܪܝܚܐ ܕܣܘܬܗܘܢ ܘܢܩܝܘ ܬܡܢ ܢܘܩ̈ܝܗܘܢ
nwqyhwn thmn wnqyw dswthhwn rykh' thmn wsmw qwrbnyhwn thmn wqrbw dbkhyhwn thmn wdbkhw dmTl 'yln wkl drm' rmth' kwl wkhzw lhwn lmthlh 'ydy d'rymth l're' 'nwn w'ythyth
For when I had brought them into the land which I swore to give to them, then they saw every high hill and every thick tree, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering. There they also made their pleasant aroma, and there they poured out their drink offerings.

ܘܐܡ̇ܪܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܢܐ ܗܝ ܦܪܟܐ ܕܐܬ̇ܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܬܡܢ ܘܐܬܩܪܝ ܫܡܗ̇ ܦܪܟܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܘܡܢܐ
lywmn' edm' prk' shmh w'thqry lthmn 'nthwn d'thyn prk' hy mn' lhwn w'mrth
Then I said to them, ‘What does the high place where you go mean?’ So its name is called Bamah to this day.”’

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܐܡܪ ܠܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܐܢ ܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܐ̈ܒܗܝܟܘܢ ܡܬܛܢܦܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܘܒܬܪ ܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܛܥ̇ܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ
'nthwn Teyn pthkryhwn wbthr 'nthwn mthTnpyn d'bhykwn b'wrkh' 'n mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' 'ysryl ldbyth 'mr brnsh' hn' mTl
“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Do you pollute yourselves in the way of your fathers? Do you play the prostitute after their abominations?

ܘܡܩܪܒܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܡܘܗ̈ܒܬܟܘܢ ܘܡܥܒܪܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܒܢܝ̈ܟܘܢ ܒܢܘܪܐ ܘܡܬܛܢܦܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܒܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܘܡܢܐ ܘܨܒ̇ܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܬܫܐܠܘܢ ܡܢܝ ܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܚܝ ܐܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܬ̇ܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܦܬܓܡܐ

When you offer your gifts, when you make your sons pass through the fire, do you pollute yourselves with all your idols to this day? Should I be inquired of by you, house of Israel? As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I will not be inquired of by you!

ܘܗ̇ܝ ܕܒܪܥܝܢܟܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܕܐܡܪܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܢܗܘܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܫܪ̈ܒܬܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܘܢܫܡܫ ܠܩܝܣ̈ܐ ܘܠܟܐ̈ܦܐ

“‘“That which comes into your mind will not be at all, in that you say, ‘We will be as the nations, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.’

As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh, “surely with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out, I will be king over you.

ܘܐܦܩܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܟܢܫܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܪ̈ܥܬܐ ܕܐܬܒܕܪܬܘܢ ܒܗܝܢ ܘܒܐܝܕܐ ܥܫܝܢܬܐ ܘܒܕܪܥܐ ܪܡܐ ܘܒܪܘܓܙܐ ܐܫܝܕܐ
'shyd' wbrwgz' rm' wbdre' eshynth' wb'yd' bhyn d'thbdrthwn 'reth' mn w'knshkwn emm' mn w'pqkwn
I will bring you out from the peoples, and will gather you out of the countries in which you are scattered with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out.

'pyn lwqbl 'pyn thmn w'dwnkwn demm' lmdbr' 'ythykwn
I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face.

ܐܝܟ ܕܕܢ̇ܬ ܥܡ ܐܒ̈ܗܝܟܘܢ ܒܡܕܒܪܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܕܘܢ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
mrwth' mr' 'mr emkwn 'dwn hkn' dmtsryn d're' bmdbr' 'bhykwn em ddnth 'yk
Just as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you,” says the Lord Yahweh.

ܘܐܓܒܐ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܪܕܝܢ ܘܡܥܠܝܢ ܒܝ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܡܥܡܪܗܘܢ ܐܦܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܐ ܢܥܠܘܢ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn nelwn l' d'ysryl wl're' 'nwn 'pq memrhwn dbyth 're' mn by wmelyn dmrdyn 'ylyn mnkwn w'gb'
I will purge out from among you the rebels and those who disobey me. I will bring them out of the land where they live, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”

For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel,” says the Lord Yahweh, “there all the house of Israel, all of them, shall serve me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will require your offerings and the first fruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.

ܒܪܝܚܐ ܒܣܝܡܐ ܐܩܒܠܟܘܢ ܡܐ ܕܐܦܩ̇ܬܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܟܢܫ̇ܬܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ ܕܐܬܒܕܪܬܘܢ ܒܗܝܢ ܘܐܬܩܕܫ̇ܬ ܒܟܘܢ ܠܥܝܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ
emm' leyn bkwn w'thqdshth bhyn d'thbdrthwn mdynth' mn wknshthkwn emm' mn d'pqthkwn m' 'qblkwn bsym' brykh'
I will accept you as a pleasant aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries in which you have been scattered. I will be sanctified in you in the sight of the nations.

ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܐ ܕܐܥܠܬܟܘܢ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܪܝܡ̇ܬ ܐܝܕܝ ܠܡܬܠܗ̇ ܠܐ̈ܒܗܝܟܘܢ
l'bhykwn lmthlh 'ydy d'rymth l're' d'ysryl l're' d'elthkwn m' mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn
You will know that I am Yahweh when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the country which I swore to give to your fathers.

ܘܬܬܕܟܪܘܢ ܬܡܢ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܟܘܢ ܘܟܠܗܝܢ ܨܢ̈ܥܬܟܘܢ ܕܐܬܛܢܦܬܘܢ ܒܗܝܢ ܘܢܬܩܡ̈ܛܢ ܐ̈ܦܝܟܘܢ ܒܟܠܗܝܢ ܒܝܫ̈ܬܐ ܕܥܒܕܬܘܢ
debdthwn byshth' bklhyn 'pykwn wnthqmTn bhyn d'thTnpthwn tsnethkwn wklhyn 'wrkhthkwn thmn wththdkrwn
There you will remember your ways, and all your deeds in which you have polluted yourselves. Then you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that you have committed.

You will know that I am Yahweh, when I have dealt with you for my name’s sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, you house of Israel,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”
