ܘܫܩܠܬܢܝ ܪܘܚܐ ܘܐܝܬܝܬܢܝ ܠܬܪܥܐ ܡܕܢܚܝܐ ܕܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܕܚܐܪ ܠܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܒܡܥܠܢܐ ܕܬܪܥܐ ܥܣܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܚܡܫܐ ܓܒܪ̈ܝܢ ܘܚܙ̇ܝܬ ܒܝܢܬܗܘܢ ܠܝܥܙܢܝܐ ܒܪ ܥܙܘܪ ܘܠܦܠܛܝܐ ܒܪ ܒܢܝܐ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܥܡܐ
dem' rwrbn' bny' br wlplTy' ezwr br lyezny' bynthhwn wkhzyth gbryn wkhmsh' esryn dthre' bmeln' wkhzyth lmdnkh' dkh'r dmry' dbythh mdnkhy' lthre' w'ythythny rwkh' wshqlthny
Moreover the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of Yahweh’s house, which looks eastward. Behold, twenty-five men were at the door of the gate; and I saw among them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܒܪ̈ܐ ܕܡܬܚܫܒܝܢ ܥܬܐ ܘܡܠ̇ܟܝܢ ܡ̈ܠ̣ܟܐ ܒܝܫ̈ܐ ܒܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܗܕܐ
hd' bmdynth' bysh' mlk' wmlkyn eth' dmthkhshbyn gbr' 'nwn hlyn brnsh' mry' ly w'mr
He said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity, and who give wicked counsel in this city;

ܘܐܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܒܓܘܗ̇ ܒܢ̣ܝܢ ܒܬ̈ܐ ܗܝ ܩܕܣܐ ܘܚܢܢ ܒܣܪܐ
bsr' wkhnn qds' hy bth' bnyn bgwh hw' l' w'mryn
who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses. This is the cauldron, and we are the meat.’

ܡܟܝܠ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܐܬܢܒܐ ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ
'nsh' br 'thnb' elyhwn 'thnb' mkyl
Therefore prophesy against them. Prophesy, son of man.”

ܘܢܦܠܬ ܥܠܝ ܪܘܚܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܝ ܐܡܪ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܪܚܡܬܘܢ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܬܪ̈ܥܝܬܐ ܕܪܘܚܟܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܝܕܥ̇ ܐܢܐ ܠܗܝܢ
lhyn 'n' yde 'n' drwkhkwn wthreyth' 'ysryl bny rkhmthwn hkn' mry' 'mr hkn' 'mr ly w'mr dmry' rwkhh ely wnplth
Yahweh’s Spirit fell on me, and he said to me, “Speak, ‘Yahweh says: “Thus you have said, house of Israel; for I know the things that come into your mind.

ܐܣܓܝܬܘܢ ܩ̈ܛܝܠܝܟܘܢ ܒܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܘܡܠܝܬܘܢ ܫܘ̈ܩܝܗ̇ ܚܪ̈ܝܒܐ
khryb' shwqyh wmlythwn hd' bmdynth' qTylykwn 'sgythwn
You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain.”

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܚܪ̈ܝܒܝܟܘܢ ܕܐܪܡܝܬܘܢ ܒܓܘܗ̇ ܗܢܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܣܪܐ ܘܗܝ ܩܕܣܐ ܘܠܟܘܢ ܡܦܩ ܐܢܐ ܡܢ ܓܘܗ̇
gwh mn 'n' mpq wlkwn qds' why bsr' 'nwn hnwn bgwh d'rmythwn khrybykwn mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' hn' mTl
“‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Your slain whom you have laid in the middle of it, they are the meat, and this is the cauldron; but you will be brought out of the middle of it.

ܡܢ ܚܪܒܐ ܕܚܠܬܘܢ ܘܚܪܒܐ ܐܝܬܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
mrwth' mr' 'mr elykwn 'yth' wkhrb' dkhlthwn khrb' mn
You have feared the sword; and I will bring the sword on you,” says the Lord Yahweh.

ܘܐܦܩܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܓܘܗ̇ ܘܐܫܠܡܟܘܢ ܒܐܝܕܐ ܕܢܘܟܪ̈ܝܐ ܘܐܥܒܕ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܕܝ̈ܢܐ
dyn' mnkwn w'ebd dnwkry' b'yd' w'shlmkwn gwh mn w'pqkwn
“I will bring you out of the middle of it, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

ܒܚܪܒܐ ܬܦܠܘܢ ܘܥܠ ܬܚܘܡܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܕܘܢܟܘܢ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn 'dwnkwn d'ysryl thkhwm' wel thplwn bkhrb'
You will fall by the sword. I will judge you in the border of Israel. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

ܘܗܝ ܠܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܩܕܣܐ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܐ ܬܗܘܘܢ ܒܗ̇ ܒܣܪܐ ܘܥܠ ܬܚܘܡܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܐܕܘܢܟܘܢ
'dwnkwn d'ysryl thkhwm' wel bsr' bh thhwwn l' w'nthwn qds' lkwn thhw' l' why
This will not be your cauldron, neither will you be the meat in the middle of it. I will judge you in the border of Israel.

ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܕܒܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܠܐ ܗܠܟܬܘܢ ܘܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܠܐ ܥܒܕܬܘܢ ܘܐܝܟ ܕܝܢ̈ܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܕܚܕܪ̈ܝܟܘܢ ܥܒܕܬܘܢ
ebdthwn dkhdrykwn demm' dyn' w'yk ebdthwn l' wdyny hlkthwn l' dbpwqdny mry' 'n' d'n' wthdewn
You will know that I am Yahweh, for you have not walked in my statutes. You have not executed my ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are around you.”’”

ܘܟܕ ܐܬܢܒܝ̇ܬ ܡܝܬ ܦܠܛܝܐ ܒܪ ܒܢܝܐ ܘܢܦܠ̇ܬ ܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܘܐܝܠܠ̇ܬ ܒܩܠܐ ܪܡܐ ܘܐܡܪ̇ܬ ܐܘܗ̇ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܣܘܦܢܐ ܥܒ̇ܕ ܐܢܬ ܠܫܪܟܗ ܕܐܝܣܪܐܝܠ
d'ysr'yl lshrkh 'nth ebd swpn' mrwth' mr' 'wh w'mrth rm' bql' w'yllth 'py el wnplth bny' br plTy' myth 'thnbyth wkd
When I prophesied, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, “Ah Lord Yahweh! Will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?”

ܘܗܘܐ ܥܠܝ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ

Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

ܒܪܢܫܐ ܐܚ̈ܝܟ ܐܚ̈ܝܟ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܫܒܝܬܟ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܢܣܘܦܘܢ ܕܐܡܪܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܥܡܘܪ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܐܬܪܚܩܘ ܡܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܢ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܐܬܝܗܒܬ ܐܪܥܐ ܠܝܪܬܘܬܐ

“Son of man, your brothers, even your brothers, the men of your relatives, and all the house of Israel, all of them, are the ones to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, ‘Go far away from Yahweh. This land has been given to us for a possession.’

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܐܕܚܘܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܒܕܪ ܐܢܘܢ ܒܐܪ̈ܥܬܐ ܘܐܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܡܩܕܫܐ ܙܥܘܪܐ ܒܐܪ̈ܥܬܐ ܕܐܙܠܘ ܠܗܝܢ
lhyn d'zlw b'reth' zewr' lmqdsh' lhwn w'hw' b'reth' 'nwn w'bdr bemm' 'nwn 'dkhwq mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' hn' mTl
“Therefore say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet I will be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they have come.”’

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܐܟܢܫܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܩܪܒܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܪ̈ܥܬܐ ܕܐܬܒܕܪܬܘܢ ܒܗܝܢ ܘܐܬܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
d'ysryl 're' lkwn w'thl bhyn d'thbdrthwn 'reth' mn w'qrbkwn emm' mn 'knshkwn mrwth' mr' 'mr hkn' hn' mTl
“Therefore say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.”

ܘܢܥܠܘܢ ܠܗ̇ ܘܢܥܒܪܘܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܕܚ̈ܠܬܗ̇ ܘܟܠܗܝܢ ܛܢ̈ܦܘܬܗ̇ ܡܢܗ̇
mnh Tnpwthh wklhyn dkhlthh klhyn wnebrwn lh wnelwn
“‘They will come there, and they will take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there.

ܘܐܬܠ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܒܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܘܪܘܚܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܐܬܠ ܒܗܘܢ ܘܐܥܒܪ ܠܒܐ ܕܟܐܦܐ ܡܢ ܒܣܪܗܘܢ ܘܐܬܠ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܒܐ ܕܒܣܪܐ
dbsr' lb' lhwn w'thl bsrhwn mn dk'p' lb' w'ebr bhwn 'thl khdth' wrwkh' khdth' lb' lhwn w'thl
I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them. I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh,

ܘܢܗܠܟܘܢ ܒ̈ܦܘܩܕܢܝ ܘܢܛܪܘܢ ܕܝܢ̈ܝ ܘܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܝ ܥܡܐ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' lhwn 'hw' w'n' em' ly wnhwwn 'nwn wnebdwn dyny wnTrwn bpwqdny wnhlkwn
that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

ܒܪܥܝܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܦܬܟܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܘܕܛܢ̈ܦܘܬܗܘܢ ܐ̇ܙܠ ܗܘܐ ܠܒܗܘܢ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܗܘܢ ܒܪܝܫܗܘܢ ܐܦܪܘܥ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
mrwth' mr' 'mr 'prwe bryshhwn 'wrkhthhwn lbhwn hw' 'zl wdTnpwthhwn dpthkryhwn gyr breyn'
But as for them whose heart walks after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their way on their own heads,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”

ܘܐܪܝܡܘ ܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܓܦܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܘܓܝ̈ܓܠܐ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܘܫܘܒܚܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܥܠ ܡܢܗܘܢ
mnhwn lel d'ysryl d'lh' wshwbkhh emhwn wgygl' gpyhwn krwb' w'rymw
Then the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels were beside them. The glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

ܘܐܬܬܪܝܡ ܫܘܒܚܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܢ ܓܘ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܘܩܡ ܥܠ ܛܘܪܐ ܕܒܡܕܢܚܝܗ̇ ܕܡܕܝܢܬܐ
dmdynth' dbmdnkhyh Twr' el wqm mdynth' gw mn dmry' shwbkhh w'ththrym
Yahweh’s glory went up from the middle of the city, and stood on the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

ܘܪܘܚܐ ܫܩܠܬܢܝ ܘܐܝܬܝܬܢܝ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܕܟ̈ܠܕܝܐ ܠܫܒܝܬܐ ܒܚܙܘܐ ܘܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܦܪܩ ܠܗ ܡܢܝ ܚܙܘܐ ܕܚܙ̇ܝܬ
dkhzyth khzw' mny lh wprq d'lh' wbrwkh' bkhzw' lshbyth' dkldy' l're' w'ythythny shqlthny wrwkh'
The Spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the captives. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

ܘܡܠܠ̇ܬ ܥܡ ܫܒܝܬܐ ܟܘܠܗܘܢ ܦܬܓܡ̈ܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܕܚܘܝܢܝ
dkhwyny dmry' pthgmwhy kwlhwn shbyth' em wmllth
Then I spoke to the captives all the things that Yahweh had shown me.
