1
וחזית והא ברקיעא די על ריש כרוביא כאבן טבא כחיזו דמות כורסיא אתחזי עליהון:
elyhwn athkhzy kwrsya dmwth kkhyzw Tba kabn krwbya rysh el dy brqyea wha wkhzyth
Then I looked, and see, in the expanse that was over the head of the cherubim there appeared above them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

ואמר לגברא דלביש לבושיא ואמר עול לביני גלגליא לתחות כרובא ומלי חופנך גומרין דאשא מביני כרוביא וזרוק על קרתא ועל ואנא חזי:
khzy wana wel qrtha el wzrwq krwbya mbyny dasha gwmryn khwpnk wmly krwba lthkhwth glglya lbyny ewl wamr lbwshya dlbysh lgbra wamr
He spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said, “Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” He went in as I watched.

וכרוביא קימין מדרום לביתא במיעל גברא וענן אמיטתא אתמליאת ית דרתא גויתא:
gwytha drtha yth athmlyath amyTtha wenn gbra bmyel lbytha mdrwm qymyn wkrwbya
Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

ואסתלק יקרא דיי בכרובא דהוה שרי עלוהי ושרא מעיל לקביל סקופת ביתא ואתמליאת ביתא ית ענן אמיטתא ודרתא אתמליאת ית זהור יקרא דיי:
dyy yqra zhwr yth athmlyath wdrtha amyTtha enn yth bytha wathmlyath bytha sqwpth lqbyl meyl wshra elwhy shry dhwh bkrwba dyy yqra wasthlq
Yahweh’s glory mounted up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Yahweh’s glory.

וקל כנפי כרוביא אשתמע עד דרתא בריתא כקלא מן קדם שדי במלולא:
bmlwla shdy qdm mn kqla brytha drtha ed ashthme krwbya knpy wql
The sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.

והוה בפקדותיה ית גברא דלביש לבושיא למימר סב אשתא מביני גלגליא מביני כרוביא ועל וקם בסטר גלגלא:
glgla bsTr wqm wel krwbya mbyny glglya mbyny ashtha sb lmymr lbwshya dlbysh gbra yth bpqdwthyh whwh
It came to pass, when he commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, “Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim,” that he went in and stood beside a wheel.

ואושיט כרובא ית ידיה מביני כרוביא לאשתא די ביני כרוביא ונסיב ויהב לחפני דלביש לבושיא ונסיב ונפק:
wnpq wnsyb lbwshya dlbysh lkhpny wyhb wnsyb krwbya byny dy lashtha krwbya mbyny ydyh yth krwba wawshyT
The cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim, and took some of it, and put it into the hands of him who was clothed in linen, who took it and went out.

ואתחזי לכרוביא דמות יד אנשא תחות גפיהון:
gpyhwn thkhwth ansha yd dmwth lkrwbya wathkhzy
The form of a man’s hand appeared here in the cherubim under their wings.

וחזית והא ארבעא גלגליא בסטר כרוביא גלגל חד בסטר כרובא חד וגלגל חד בסטר כרובא חד וחיזו גלגליא כעין אבן טבא:
Tba abn keyn glglya wkhyzw khd krwba bsTr khd wglgl khd krwba bsTr khd glgl krwbya bsTr glglya arbea wha wkhzyth
I looked, and behold, there were four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and another wheel beside another cherub. The appearance of the wheels was like a beryl stone.

וחזויהון דמות חד לארבעתהון כמא דהוי גלגל בגו גלגל:
glgl bgw glgl dhwy kma larbethhwn khd dmwth wkhzwyhwn
As for their appearance, the four of them had one likeness, like a wheel within a wheel.

במיזלהון על ארבעת סטריהון אזלין לא מתחזרין במיזלהון ארי לאתרא דמתפני קדמאה בתרוהי אזלין ולא מתחזרין במיזלהון:
bmyzlhwn mthkhzryn wla azlyn bthrwhy qdmah dmthpny lathra ary bmyzlhwn mthkhzryn la azlyn sTryhwn arbeth el bmyzlhwn
When they went, they went in their four directions. They didn’t turn as they went, but to the place where the head looked they followed it. They didn’t turn as they went.

וכל בסריהון וגביהון ואשדתהון וכנפיהון וגלגליא מלן עינין סחור סחור לארבעתהון דגלגליא:
dglglya larbethhwn skhwr skhwr eynyn mln wglglya wknpyhwn washdthhwn wgbyhwn bsryhwn wkl
Their whole body, including their backs, their hands, their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes all around, even the wheels that the four of them had.

לאופניא להון אתקרי גלגלא ואנא שמע:
shme wana glgla athqry lhwn lawpnya
As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing, “the whirling wheels”.

וארבעא אפין לחד אפי חד אפי כרובא ואפי תנינא אפי אנשא ותליתאה אפי אריא ורביעאה אפי נשרא:
nshra apy wrbyeah arya apy wthlythah ansha apy thnyna wapy krwba apy khd apy lkhd apyn warbea
Every one of them had four faces. The first face was the face of the cherub. The second face was the face of a man. The third face was the face of a lion. The fourth was the face of an eagle.

ואתרמו כרוביא אינון בריתא די חזיתי בנהר כבר:
kbr bnhr khzythy dy brytha aynwn krwbya wathrmw
The cherubim mounted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.

ובמיזל כרוביא אזלין גלגליא לקבליהון ובמטל כרוביא ית גפיהון לאתרמא כמלרע לרום שמיא לא מתחזרין גלגליא אף אינון מקבליהון:
mqblyhwn aynwn ap glglya mthkhzryn la shmya lrwm kmlre lathrma gpyhwn yth krwbya wbmTl lqblyhwn glglya azlyn krwbya wbmyzl
When the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also didn’t turn from beside them.
17
במקמהון קימין ובאתרמותהון מתרמין עמהון ארי ברוח בריתא בהון:
bhwn brytha brwkh ary emhwn mthrmyn wbathrmwthhwn qymyn bmqmhwn
When they stood, these stood. When they mounted up, these mounted up with them; for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

ואסתלק יקרא דיי דהוה שרי עלוהי מעיל לקביל סקופת ביתא ושרא על כרוביא:
krwbya el wshra bytha sqwpth lqbyl meyl elwhy shry dhwh dyy yqra wasthlq
Yahweh’s glory went out from over the threshold of the house and stood over the cherubim.

ונטלו כרוביא ית גפיהון ואתרמו כמלרע לרום שמיא ואנא חזי במפקהון וגלגליא לקבליהון וקם במעלנא דתרע בית מקדשא דיי מדינחאה ויקר אלהא דישראל עליהון מלעלא:
mlela elyhwn dyshral alha wyqr mdynkhah dyy mqdsha byth dthre bmelna wqm lqblyhwn wglglya bmpqhwn khzy wana shmya lrwm kmlre wathrmw gpyhwn yth krwbya wnTlw
The cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went out, with the wheels beside them. Then they stood at the door of the east gate of Yahweh’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
20
אינון בריתא דחזיתי תחות יקד אלהא דישראל בנהר כבר וידעית ארי כרוביא אינון:
aynwn krwbya ary wydeyth kbr bnhr dyshral alha yqd thkhwth dkhzythy brytha aynwn
This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were cherubim.

ארבע ארבע אפין לחד וארבע גפין לחד ודמות יד אנשא תחות גפיהון:
gpyhwn thkhwth ansha yd wdmwth lkhd gpyn warbe lkhd apyn arbe arbe
Every one had four faces, and every one four wings. The likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

ודמות אפיהון אינון אפיא די חזיתי על נהר כבר חזויהון ואינון בריא לקביל אפהא אזלא:
azla apha lqbyl brya waynwn khzwyhwn kbr nhr el khzythy dy apya aynwn apyhwn wdmwth
As for the likeness of their faces, they were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves. They each went straight forward.
