ואמר יי למשה אמר לאהרן ארים ית ידך בחטרך על נהריא על ארתיא ועל אגמיא ואסיק ית ערדעניא על ארעא דמצרים:
wamr yy lmshh amr lahrn arym yth ydk bkhTrk el nhrya el arthya wel agmya wasyq yth erdenya el area dmtsrym
Yahweh spoke to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh says, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.

וארים אהרן ית ידיה על מיא דמצראי וסליקת ערדעניא וחפת ית ארעא דמצרים:
warym ahrn yth ydyh el mya dmtsray wslyqth erdenya wkhpth yth area dmtsrym
If you refuse to let them go, behold, I will plague all your borders with frogs.

ועבדו כן חרשיא בלחשיהון ואסיקו ית ערדעניא על ארעא דמצרים:
webdw kn khrshya blkhshyhwn wasyqw yth erdenya el area dmtsrym
The river will swarm with frogs, which will go up and come into your house, and into your bedroom, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and on your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading troughs.

וקרא פרעה למשה ולאהרן ואמר צלו קדם יי ויעדי ערדעניא מני ומעמי ואשלח ית עמא וידבחון קדם יי:
wqra preh lmshh wlahrn wamr tslw qdm yy wyedy erdenya mny wmemy washlkh yth ema wydbkhwn qdm yy
The frogs shall come up both on you, and on your people, and on all your servants.”’”

ואמר משה לפרעה שאל לך גבורא הב לי זמן לאמתי אצלי עלך ועל עבדיך ועל עמך לשיצאה ערדעניא מנך ומבתיך לחוד בנהרא תשתארן:
wamr mshh lpreh shal lk gbwra hb ly zmn lamthy atsly elk wel ebdyk wel emk lshytsah erdenya mnk wmbthyk lkhwd bnhra thshtharn
Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’”

ואמר למחר ואמר כפתגמך בדיל דתדע ארי לית כיי אלהנא:
wamr lmkhr wamr kpthgmk bdyl dthde ary lyth kyy alhna
Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

ויעדון ערדעניא מנך ומבתיך ומעבדיך ומעמך לחוד בנהרא ישתארן:
wyedwn erdenya mnk wmbthyk wmebdyk wmemk lkhwd bnhra yshtharn
The magicians did the same thing with their enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt.

ונפק משה ואהרן מלות פרעה וצלי משה קדם יי על עסק ערדעניא די שוי לפרעה:
wnpq mshh wahrn mlwth preh wtsly mshh qdm yy el esq erdenya dy shwy lpreh
Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, “Entreat Yahweh, that he take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to Yahweh.”

ועבד יי כפתגמא דמשה ומיתו ערדעניא מן בתיא מן דרתא ומן חקלתא:
webd yy kpthgma dmshh wmythw erdenya mn bthya mn drtha wmn khqltha
Moses said to Pharaoh, “I give you the honor of setting the time that I should pray for you, and for your servants, and for your people, that the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, and remain in the river only.”

וכנשו יתהון דגורין דגורין וסריאו על ארעא:
wknshw ythhwn dgwryn dgwryn wsryaw el area
Pharaoh said, “Tomorrow.” Moses said, “Let it be according to your word, that you may know that there is no one like Yahweh our God.

וחזא פרעה ארי הות רוחתא ויתיקר ית לביה ולא קביל מנהון כמא דמליל יי:
wkhza preh ary hwth rwkhtha wythyqr yth lbyh wla qbyl mnhwn kma dmlyl yy
The frogs shall depart from you, and from your houses, and from your servants, and from your people. They shall remain in the river only.”

ואמר יי למשה אמר לאהרן ארים ית חטרך ומחא ית עפרא דארעא ויהא לקלמתא בכל ארעא דמצרים:
wamr yy lmshh amr lahrn arym yth khTrk wmkha yth epra darea wyha lqlmtha bkl area dmtsrym
Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried to Yahweh concerning the frogs which he had brought on Pharaoh.

ועבדו כן וארים אהרן ית ידיה בחטריה ומחא ית עפרא דארעא והות קלמתא באנשא ובבעירא כל עפרא דארעא הות קלמתא בכל ארעא דמצרים:
webdw kn warym ahrn yth ydyh bkhTryh wmkha yth epra darea whwth qlmtha bansha wbbeyra kl epra darea hwth qlmtha bkl area dmtsrym
Yahweh did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the fields.

ועבדו כן חרשיא בלחשיהון לאפקא ית קלמתא ולא יכילו והות קלמתא באנשא ובבעירא:
webdw kn khrshya blkhshyhwn lapqa yth qlmtha wla ykylw whwth qlmtha bansha wbbeyra
They gathered them together in heaps, and the land stank.

ואמרו חרשיא לפרעה הא מחא מן קדם יי היא ואתקף לבא דפרעה ולא קביל מנהון כמא דמליל יי:
wamrw khrshya lpreh ha mkha mn qdm yy hya wathqp lba dpreh wla qbyl mnhwn kma dmlyl yy
But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart, and didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.

ואמר יי למשה אקדם בצפרא ואתעתד קדם פרעה הא נפק למיא ותימר ליה כדנן אמר יי שלח עמי ויפלחון קדמי:
wamr yy lmshh aqdm btspra wathethd qdm preh ha npq lmya wthymr lyh kdnn amr yy shlkh emy wyplkhwn qdmy
Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your rod, and strike the dust of the earth, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.’”

ארי אם ליתך משלח ית עמי הא אנא משלח בך ובעבדיך ובעמך ובבתיך ית ערובא וימלון בתי מצרים ית ערובא ואף ארעא דאנון עלה:
ary am lythk mshlkh yth emy ha ana mshlkh bk wbebdyk wbemk wbbthyk yth erwba wymlwn bthy mtsrym yth erwba wap area danwn elh
They did so; and Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and struck the dust of the earth, and there were lice on man, and on animal; all the dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

ואפרש ביומא ההוא ית ארעא דגשן דעמי קאים עלה בדיל דלא למהוי תמן ערובא בדיל דתדע ארי אנא יי שליט בגו ארעא:
waprsh bywma hhwa yth area dgshn demy qaym elh bdyl dla lmhwy thmn erwba bdyl dthde ary ana yy shlyT bgw area
The magicians tried with their enchantments to produce lice, but they couldn’t. There were lice on man, and on animal.

ואשוי פורקן לעמי ועל עמך איתי מחא למחר יהא אתא הדין:
washwy pwrqn lemy wel emk aythy mkha lmkhr yha atha hdyn
Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is God’s finger;” but Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.

ועבד יי כן ואתא ערובא תקיף לבית פרעה ולבית עבדוהי ובכל ארעא דמצרים אתחבלת ארעא מן קדם ערובא:
webd yy kn watha erwba thqyp lbyth preh wlbyth ebdwhy wbkl area dmtsrym athkhblth area mn qdm erwba
Yahweh said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; behold, he comes out to the water; and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh says, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.

וקרא פרעה למשה ולאהרן ואמר אזילו דבחו קדם אלהכון בארעא:
wqra preh lmshh wlahrn wamr azylw dbkhw qdm alhkwn barea
Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you, and on your servants, and on your people, and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground they are on.
22
ואמר משה לא תקן למעבד כן ארי בעירא דמצראי דחלין ליה מניה אנחנא נסבין לדבחא קדם יי אלהנא הא נדבח ית בעירא דמצראי דחלין ליה ואנון יהון חזן הלא יימרון למרגמנא:
wamr mshh la thqn lmebd kn ary beyra dmtsray dkhlyn lyh mnyh ankhna nsbyn ldbkha qdm yy alhna ha ndbkh yth beyra dmtsray dkhlyn lyh wanwn yhwn khzn hla yymrwn lmrgmna
I will set apart in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, to the end you may know that I am Yahweh on the earth.
23
מהלך תלתא יומין ניזיל במדברא ונדבח קדם יי אלהנא כמא דיימר לנא:
mhlk thltha ywmyn nyzyl bmdbra wndbkh qdm yy alhna kma dyymr lna
I will put a division between my people and your people. This sign shall happen by tomorrow.”’”

ואמר פרעה אנא אשלח יתכון ותדבחון קדם יי אלהכון במדברא לחוד ארחקא לא תרחקון למיזל צלו אף עלי:
wamr preh ana ashlkh ythkwn wthdbkhwn qdm yy alhkwn bmdbra lkhwd arkhqa la thrkhqwn lmyzl tslw ap ely
Yahweh did so; and there came grievous swarms of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses. In all the land of Egypt the land was corrupted by reason of the swarms of flies.
25
ואמר משה הא אנא נפק מעמך ואצלי קדם יי ויעדי ערובא מפרעה מעבדוהי ומעמיה מחר לחוד לא יוסף פרעה לשקרא בדיל דלא לשלחא ית עמא לדבחא קדם יי:
wamr mshh ha ana npq memk watsly qdm yy wyedy erwba mpreh mebdwhy wmemyh mkhr lkhwd la ywsp preh lshqra bdyl dla lshlkha yth ema ldbkha qdm yy
Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God in the land!”
26
ונפק משה מן קדם פרעה וצלי קדם יי:
wnpq mshh mn qdm preh wtsly qdm yy
Moses said, “It isn’t appropriate to do so; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to Yahweh our God. Behold, if we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, won’t they stone us?
27
ועבד יי כפתגמא דמשה ואעדי ערובא מפרעה מעבדוהי ומעמיה לא אשתאר חד:
webd yy kpthgma dmshh waedy erwba mpreh mebdwhy wmemyh la ashthar khd
We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Yahweh our God, as he shall command us.”
28
ויקר פרעה ית לביה אף בזמנא הדא ולא שלח ית עמא:
wyqr preh yth lbyh ap bzmna hda wla shlkh yth ema
Pharaoh said, “I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to Yahweh your God in the wilderness, only you shall not go very far away. Pray for me.”
