ואמר יי למשה אמר לאהרן ארים ית ידך בחטרך על נהריא על ארתיא ועל אגמיא ואסיק ית ערדעניא על ארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym area el erdenya yth wasyq agmya wel arthya el nhrya el bkhTrk ydk yth arym lahrn amr lmshh yy wamr
Yahweh spoke to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh says, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.

וארים אהרן ית ידיה על מיא דמצראי וסליקת ערדעניא וחפת ית ארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym area yth wkhpth erdenya wslyqth dmtsray mya el ydyh yth ahrn warym
If you refuse to let them go, behold, I will plague all your borders with frogs.

ועבדו כן חרשיא בלחשיהון ואסיקו ית ערדעניא על ארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym area el erdenya yth wasyqw blkhshyhwn khrshya kn webdw
The river will swarm with frogs, which will go up and come into your house, and into your bedroom, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and on your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading troughs.

וקרא פרעה למשה ולאהרן ואמר צלו קדם יי ויעדי ערדעניא מני ומעמי ואשלח ית עמא וידבחון קדם יי:
yy qdm wydbkhwn ema yth washlkh wmemy mny erdenya wyedy yy qdm tslw wamr wlahrn lmshh preh wqra
The frogs shall come up both on you, and on your people, and on all your servants.”’”

ואמר משה לפרעה שאל לך גבורא הב לי זמן לאמתי אצלי עלך ועל עבדיך ועל עמך לשיצאה ערדעניא מנך ומבתיך לחוד בנהרא תשתארן:
thshtharn bnhra lkhwd wmbthyk mnk erdenya lshytsah emk wel ebdyk wel elk atsly lamthy zmn ly hb gbwra lk shal lpreh mshh wamr
Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’”

ואמר למחר ואמר כפתגמך בדיל דתדע ארי לית כיי אלהנא:
alhna kyy lyth ary dthde bdyl kpthgmk wamr lmkhr wamr
Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

ויעדון ערדעניא מנך ומבתיך ומעבדיך ומעמך לחוד בנהרא ישתארן:
yshtharn bnhra lkhwd wmemk wmebdyk wmbthyk mnk erdenya wyedwn
The magicians did the same thing with their enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt.

ונפק משה ואהרן מלות פרעה וצלי משה קדם יי על עסק ערדעניא די שוי לפרעה:
lpreh shwy dy erdenya esq el yy qdm mshh wtsly preh mlwth wahrn mshh wnpq
Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, “Entreat Yahweh, that he take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to Yahweh.”

ועבד יי כפתגמא דמשה ומיתו ערדעניא מן בתיא מן דרתא ומן חקלתא:
khqltha wmn drtha mn bthya mn erdenya wmythw dmshh kpthgma yy webd
Moses said to Pharaoh, “I give you the honor of setting the time that I should pray for you, and for your servants, and for your people, that the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, and remain in the river only.”

וכנשו יתהון דגורין דגורין וסריאו על ארעא:
area el wsryaw dgwryn dgwryn ythhwn wknshw
Pharaoh said, “Tomorrow.” Moses said, “Let it be according to your word, that you may know that there is no one like Yahweh our God.

וחזא פרעה ארי הות רוחתא ויתיקר ית לביה ולא קביל מנהון כמא דמליל יי:
yy dmlyl kma mnhwn qbyl wla lbyh yth wythyqr rwkhtha hwth ary preh wkhza
The frogs shall depart from you, and from your houses, and from your servants, and from your people. They shall remain in the river only.”

ואמר יי למשה אמר לאהרן ארים ית חטרך ומחא ית עפרא דארעא ויהא לקלמתא בכל ארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym area bkl lqlmtha wyha darea epra yth wmkha khTrk yth arym lahrn amr lmshh yy wamr
Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried to Yahweh concerning the frogs which he had brought on Pharaoh.

ועבדו כן וארים אהרן ית ידיה בחטריה ומחא ית עפרא דארעא והות קלמתא באנשא ובבעירא כל עפרא דארעא הות קלמתא בכל ארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym area bkl qlmtha hwth darea epra kl wbbeyra bansha qlmtha whwth darea epra yth wmkha bkhTryh ydyh yth ahrn warym kn webdw
Yahweh did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the fields.

ועבדו כן חרשיא בלחשיהון לאפקא ית קלמתא ולא יכילו והות קלמתא באנשא ובבעירא:
wbbeyra bansha qlmtha whwth ykylw wla qlmtha yth lapqa blkhshyhwn khrshya kn webdw
They gathered them together in heaps, and the land stank.

ואמרו חרשיא לפרעה הא מחא מן קדם יי היא ואתקף לבא דפרעה ולא קביל מנהון כמא דמליל יי:
yy dmlyl kma mnhwn qbyl wla dpreh lba wathqp hya yy qdm mn mkha ha lpreh khrshya wamrw
But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart, and didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.

ואמר יי למשה אקדם בצפרא ואתעתד קדם פרעה הא נפק למיא ותימר ליה כדנן אמר יי שלח עמי ויפלחון קדמי:
qdmy wyplkhwn emy shlkh yy amr kdnn lyh wthymr lmya npq ha preh qdm wathethd btspra aqdm lmshh yy wamr
Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your rod, and strike the dust of the earth, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.’”

ארי אם ליתך משלח ית עמי הא אנא משלח בך ובעבדיך ובעמך ובבתיך ית ערובא וימלון בתי מצרים ית ערובא ואף ארעא דאנון עלה:
elh danwn area wap erwba yth mtsrym bthy wymlwn erwba yth wbbthyk wbemk wbebdyk bk mshlkh ana ha emy yth mshlkh lythk am ary
They did so; and Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and struck the dust of the earth, and there were lice on man, and on animal; all the dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

ואפרש ביומא ההוא ית ארעא דגשן דעמי קאים עלה בדיל דלא למהוי תמן ערובא בדיל דתדע ארי אנא יי שליט בגו ארעא:
area bgw shlyT yy ana ary dthde bdyl erwba thmn lmhwy dla bdyl elh qaym demy dgshn area yth hhwa bywma waprsh
The magicians tried with their enchantments to produce lice, but they couldn’t. There were lice on man, and on animal.

ואשוי פורקן לעמי ועל עמך איתי מחא למחר יהא אתא הדין:
hdyn atha yha lmkhr mkha aythy emk wel lemy pwrqn washwy
Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is God’s finger;” but Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.

ועבד יי כן ואתא ערובא תקיף לבית פרעה ולבית עבדוהי ובכל ארעא דמצרים אתחבלת ארעא מן קדם ערובא:
erwba qdm mn area athkhblth dmtsrym area wbkl ebdwhy wlbyth preh lbyth thqyp erwba watha kn yy webd
Yahweh said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; behold, he comes out to the water; and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh says, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.

וקרא פרעה למשה ולאהרן ואמר אזילו דבחו קדם אלהכון בארעא:
barea alhkwn qdm dbkhw azylw wamr wlahrn lmshh preh wqra
Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you, and on your servants, and on your people, and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground they are on.

ואמר משה לא תקן למעבד כן ארי בעירא דמצראי דחלין ליה מניה אנחנא נסבין לדבחא קדם יי אלהנא הא נדבח ית בעירא דמצראי דחלין ליה ואנון יהון חזן הלא יימרון למרגמנא:
lmrgmna yymrwn hla khzn yhwn wanwn lyh dkhlyn dmtsray beyra yth ndbkh ha alhna yy qdm ldbkha nsbyn ankhna mnyh lyh dkhlyn dmtsray beyra ary kn lmebd thqn la mshh wamr
I will set apart in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, to the end you may know that I am Yahweh on the earth.

מהלך תלתא יומין ניזיל במדברא ונדבח קדם יי אלהנא כמא דיימר לנא:
lna dyymr kma alhna yy qdm wndbkh bmdbra nyzyl ywmyn thltha mhlk
I will put a division between my people and your people. This sign shall happen by tomorrow.”’”

ואמר פרעה אנא אשלח יתכון ותדבחון קדם יי אלהכון במדברא לחוד ארחקא לא תרחקון למיזל צלו אף עלי:
ely ap tslw lmyzl thrkhqwn la arkhqa lkhwd bmdbra alhkwn yy qdm wthdbkhwn ythkwn ashlkh ana preh wamr
Yahweh did so; and there came grievous swarms of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses. In all the land of Egypt the land was corrupted by reason of the swarms of flies.

ואמר משה הא אנא נפק מעמך ואצלי קדם יי ויעדי ערובא מפרעה מעבדוהי ומעמיה מחר לחוד לא יוסף פרעה לשקרא בדיל דלא לשלחא ית עמא לדבחא קדם יי:
yy qdm ldbkha ema yth lshlkha dla bdyl lshqra preh ywsp la lkhwd mkhr wmemyh mebdwhy mpreh erwba wyedy yy qdm watsly memk npq ana ha mshh wamr
Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God in the land!”
26
ונפק משה מן קדם פרעה וצלי קדם יי:
yy qdm wtsly preh qdm mn mshh wnpq
Moses said, “It isn’t appropriate to do so; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to Yahweh our God. Behold, if we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, won’t they stone us?

ועבד יי כפתגמא דמשה ואעדי ערובא מפרעה מעבדוהי ומעמיה לא אשתאר חד:
khd ashthar la wmemyh mebdwhy mpreh erwba waedy dmshh kpthgma yy webd
We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Yahweh our God, as he shall command us.”
