ואמר יי למשה חזי מניתך רב לפרעה ואהרן אחוך יהי מתרגמנך:
mthrgmnk yhy akhwk wahrn lpreh rb mnythk khzy lmshh yy wamr
Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, I have made you as God to Pharaoh; and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.

את תמלל ית כל די אפקדנך ואהרן אחוך ימלל עם פרעה וישלח ית בני ישראל מארעיה:
mareyh yshral bny yth wyshlkh preh em ymll akhwk wahrn apqdnk dy kl yth thmll ath
You shall speak all that I command you; and Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

ואנא אקשי ית לבא דפרעה ואסגיתי ית אתותי וית מופתי בארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym barea mwpthy wyth athwthy yth wasgythy dpreh lba yth aqshy wana
I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

ולא יקבל מנכון פרעה ואתן ית מחת גברתי במצרים ואפיק ית חילי ית עמי בני ישראל מארעא דמצרים בדינין רברבין:
rbrbyn bdynyn dmtsrym marea yshral bny emy yth khyly yth wapyq bmtsrym gbrthy mkhth yth wathn preh mnkwn yqbl wla
But Pharaoh will not listen to you, so I will lay my hand on Egypt, and bring out my armies, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

וידעון מצרים ארי אנא יי כד ארים ית מחת גברתי על מצרים ואפיק ית בני ישראל מביניהון:
mbynyhwn yshral bny yth wapyq mtsrym el gbrthy mkhth yth arym kd yy ana ary mtsrym wydewn
The Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh when I stretch out my hand on Egypt, and bring the children of Israel out from among them.”

ועבד משה ואהרן כמא דפקיד יי יתהון כן עבדו:
ebdw kn ythhwn yy dpqyd kma wahrn mshh webd
Moses and Aaron did so. As Yahweh commanded them, so they did.

ומשה בר תמנן שנין ואהרן בר תמנן ותלת שנין במללותהון עם פרעה:
preh em bmllwthhwn shnyn wthlth thmnn br wahrn shnyn thmnn br wmshh
Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.

ארי ימלל לותכון פרעה למימר הבו לכון אתא ותימר לאהרן סב ית חוטרך ורמי קדם פרעה יהי לתנינא:
lthnyna yhy preh qdm wrmy khwTrk yth sb lahrn wthymr atha lkwn hbw lmymr preh lwthkwn ymll ary
“When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Perform a miracle!’ then you shall tell Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, and it will become a serpent.’”

ועל משה ואהרן לות פרעה ועבדו כן כמא דפקיד יי ורמא אהרן ית חוטריה קדם פרעה וקדם עבדוהי והוה לתנינא:
lthnyna whwh ebdwhy wqdm preh qdm khwTryh yth ahrn wrma yy dpqyd kma kn webdw preh lwth wahrn mshh wel
Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded. Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

וקרא אף פרעה לחכימיא ולחרשיא ועבדו אף אנון חרשי מצרים בלחשיהון כן:
kn blkhshyhwn mtsrym khrshy anwn ap webdw wlkhrshya lkhkymya preh ap wqra
Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers. They also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same thing with their enchantments.

ורמו גבר חוטריה והוו לתניניא ובלע חטרא דאהרן ית חטריהון:
khTryhwn yth dahrn khTra wble lthnynya whww khwTryh gbr wrmw
For they each cast down their rods, and they became serpents; but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.
13
ואתקף לבא דפרעה ולא קביל מנהון כמא דמליל יי:
yy dmlyl kma mnhwn qbyl wla dpreh lba wathqp
Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.
14
ואמר יי למשה אתיקר לבא דפרעה סריב לשלחא עמא:
ema lshlkha sryb dpreh lba athyqr lmshh yy wamr
Yahweh said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn. He refuses to let the people go.

אזיל לות פרעה בצפרא הא נפיק למיא ותתעתד לקדמותיה על כיף נהרא וחטרא דאתהפיך לחויא תסב בידך:
bydk thsb lkhwya dathhpyk wkhTra nhra kyp el lqdmwthyh wththethd lmya npyq ha btspra preh lwth azyl
Go to Pharaoh in the morning. Behold, he is going out to the water. You shall stand by the river’s bank to meet him. You shall take the rod which was turned to a serpent in your hand.

ותימר ליה יי אלהא דיהודאי שלחני לותך למימר שלח ית עמי ויפלחון קדמי במדברא והא לא קבילתא עד כען:
ken ed qbyltha la wha bmdbra qdmy wyplkhwn emy yth shlkh lmymr lwthk shlkhny dyhwday alha yy lyh wthymr
You shall tell him, ‘Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to you, saying, “Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness. Behold, until now you haven’t listened.”

כדנן אמר יי בדא תדע ארי אנא יי הא אנא מחי בחטרא די בידי על מיא די בנהרא ויתהפכון לדמא:
ldma wythhpkwn bnhra dy mya el bydy dy bkhTra mkhy ana ha yy ana ary thde bda yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says, “In this you shall know that I am Yahweh. Behold: I will strike with the rod that is in my hand on the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

ונוני די בנהרא תמות וסרי נהרא וילאון מצראי למשתי מיא מן נהרא:
nhra mn mya lmshthy mtsray wylawn nhra wsry thmwth bnhra dy wnwny
The fish that are in the river will die and the river will become foul. The Egyptians will loathe to drink water from the river.”’”

ואמר יי למשה אמר לאהרן טול חטרך וארים ידך על מיא דמצרים על נהריהון על ארתיהון ועל אגמיהון ועל כל בית כנישות מימיהון ויהון דמא ויהי דמא בכל ארעא דמצרים ובמני אעא ובמני אבנא:
abna wbmny aea wbmny dmtsrym area bkl dma wyhy dma wyhwn mymyhwn knyshwth byth kl wel agmyhwn wel arthyhwn el nhryhwn el dmtsrym mya el ydk warym khTrk Twl lahrn amr lmshh yy wamr
Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their ponds of water, that they may become blood. There will be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.’”

ועבדו כן משה ואהרן כמא דפקיד יי וארים בחטרא ומחא ית מיא די בנהרא לעיני פרעה ולעיני עבדוהי ואתהפיכו כל מיא די בנהרא לדמא:
ldma bnhra dy mya kl wathhpykw ebdwhy wleyny preh leyny bnhra dy mya yth wmkha bkhTra warym yy dpqyd kma wahrn mshh kn webdw
Moses and Aaron did so, as Yahweh commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and struck the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
21
ונוני די בנהרא מיתו וסרי נהרא ולא יכילו מצראי למשתי מיא מן נהרא והוה דמא בכל ארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym area bkl dma whwh nhra mn mya lmshthy mtsray ykylw wla nhra wsry mythw bnhra dy wnwny
The fish that were in the river died. The river became foul. The Egyptians couldn’t drink water from the river. The blood was throughout all the land of Egypt.

ועבדו כן חרשי מצרים בלחשיהון ואתקף לבא דפרעה ולא קביל מנהון כמא דמליל יי:
yy dmlyl kma mnhwn qbyl wla dpreh lba wathqp blkhshyhwn mtsrym khrshy kn webdw
The magicians of Egypt did the same thing with their enchantments. So Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.
23
ואתפני פרעה ועל לביתיה ולא שוי לביה אף לדא:
lda ap lbyh shwy wla lbythyh wel preh wathpny
Pharaoh turned and went into his house, and he didn’t even take this to heart.
24
וחפרו כל מצראי סחרנות נהרא מיא למשתי ארי לא יכילו למשתי ממיא דנהרא:
dnhra mmya lmshthy ykylw la ary lmshthy mya nhra skhrnwth mtsray kl wkhprw
All the Egyptians dug around the river for water to drink; for they couldn’t drink the river water.

ואשלם שבעת יומין בתר דמחא יי ית נהרא:
nhra yth yy dmkha bthr ywmyn shbeth washlm
Seven days were fulfilled, after Yahweh had struck the river.
26
ואמר יי למשה עול לות פרעה ותימר ליה כדנן אמר יי שלח ית עמי ויפלחון קדמי:
qdmy wyplkhwn emy yth shlkh yy amr kdnn lyh wthymr preh lwth ewl lmshh yy wamr
27
ואם סריב את לשלחא הא אנא מחי ית כל תחומך בערדעניא:
berdenya thkhwmk kl yth mkhy ana ha lshlkha ath sryb wam
28
וירבי נהרא ערדעניא ויסקון ויעלון בביתך ובאדרון בית משכבך ועל ערסך ובבית עבדיך ובעמך ובתנורך ובאצותך:
wbatswthk wbthnwrk wbemk ebdyk wbbyth ersk wel mshkbk byth wbadrwn bbythk wyelwn wysqwn erdenya nhra wyrby
