ואמר יי למשה חזי מניתך רב לפרעה ואהרן אחוך יהי מתרגמנך:
wamr yy lmshh khzy mnythk rb lpreh wahrn akhwk yhy mthrgmnk
Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, I have made you as God to Pharaoh; and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.

את תמלל ית כל די אפקדנך ואהרן אחוך ימלל עם פרעה וישלח ית בני ישראל מארעיה:
ath thmll yth kl dy apqdnk wahrn akhwk ymll em preh wyshlkh yth bny yshral mareyh
You shall speak all that I command you; and Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

ואנא אקשי ית לבא דפרעה ואסגיתי ית אתותי וית מופתי בארעא דמצרים:
wana aqshy yth lba dpreh wasgythy yth athwthy wyth mwpthy barea dmtsrym
I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

ולא יקבל מנכון פרעה ואתן ית מחת גברתי במצרים ואפיק ית חילי ית עמי בני ישראל מארעא דמצרים בדינין רברבין:
wla yqbl mnkwn preh wathn yth mkhth gbrthy bmtsrym wapyq yth khyly yth emy bny yshral marea dmtsrym bdynyn rbrbyn
But Pharaoh will not listen to you, so I will lay my hand on Egypt, and bring out my armies, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

וידעון מצרים ארי אנא יי כד ארים ית מחת גברתי על מצרים ואפיק ית בני ישראל מביניהון:
wydewn mtsrym ary ana yy kd arym yth mkhth gbrthy el mtsrym wapyq yth bny yshral mbynyhwn
The Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh when I stretch out my hand on Egypt, and bring the children of Israel out from among them.”

ועבד משה ואהרן כמא דפקיד יי יתהון כן עבדו:
webd mshh wahrn kma dpqyd yy ythhwn kn ebdw
Moses and Aaron did so. As Yahweh commanded them, so they did.

ומשה בר תמנן שנין ואהרן בר תמנן ותלת שנין במללותהון עם פרעה:
wmshh br thmnn shnyn wahrn br thmnn wthlth shnyn bmllwthhwn em preh
Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.

ואמר יי למשה ולאהרן למימר:
wamr yy lmshh wlahrn lmymr
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

ארי ימלל לותכון פרעה למימר הבו לכון אתא ותימר לאהרן סב ית חוטרך ורמי קדם פרעה יהי לתנינא:
ary ymll lwthkwn preh lmymr hbw lkwn atha wthymr lahrn sb yth khwTrk wrmy qdm preh yhy lthnyna
“When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Perform a miracle!’ then you shall tell Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, and it will become a serpent.’”

ועל משה ואהרן לות פרעה ועבדו כן כמא דפקיד יי ורמא אהרן ית חוטריה קדם פרעה וקדם עבדוהי והוה לתנינא:
wel mshh wahrn lwth preh webdw kn kma dpqyd yy wrma ahrn yth khwTryh qdm preh wqdm ebdwhy whwh lthnyna
Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded. Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

וקרא אף פרעה לחכימיא ולחרשיא ועבדו אף אנון חרשי מצרים בלחשיהון כן:
wqra ap preh lkhkymya wlkhrshya webdw ap anwn khrshy mtsrym blkhshyhwn kn
Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers. They also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same thing with their enchantments.

ורמו גבר חוטריה והוו לתניניא ובלע חטרא דאהרן ית חטריהון:
wrmw gbr khwTryh whww lthnynya wble khTra dahrn yth khTryhwn
For they each cast down their rods, and they became serpents; but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.
13
ואתקף לבא דפרעה ולא קביל מנהון כמא דמליל יי:
wathqp lba dpreh wla qbyl mnhwn kma dmlyl yy
Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.
14
ואמר יי למשה אתיקר לבא דפרעה סריב לשלחא עמא:
wamr yy lmshh athyqr lba dpreh sryb lshlkha ema
Yahweh said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn. He refuses to let the people go.

אזיל לות פרעה בצפרא הא נפיק למיא ותתעתד לקדמותיה על כיף נהרא וחטרא דאתהפיך לחויא תסב בידך:
azyl lwth preh btspra ha npyq lmya wththethd lqdmwthyh el kyp nhra wkhTra dathhpyk lkhwya thsb bydk
Go to Pharaoh in the morning. Behold, he is going out to the water. You shall stand by the river’s bank to meet him. You shall take the rod which was turned to a serpent in your hand.

ותימר ליה יי אלהא דיהודאי שלחני לותך למימר שלח ית עמי ויפלחון קדמי במדברא והא לא קבילתא עד כען:
wthymr lyh yy alha dyhwday shlkhny lwthk lmymr shlkh yth emy wyplkhwn qdmy bmdbra wha la qbyltha ed ken
You shall tell him, ‘Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to you, saying, “Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness. Behold, until now you haven’t listened.”

כדנן אמר יי בדא תדע ארי אנא יי הא אנא מחי בחטרא די בידי על מיא די בנהרא ויתהפכון לדמא:
kdnn amr yy bda thde ary ana yy ha ana mkhy bkhTra dy bydy el mya dy bnhra wythhpkwn ldma
Yahweh says, “In this you shall know that I am Yahweh. Behold: I will strike with the rod that is in my hand on the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

ונוני די בנהרא תמות וסרי נהרא וילאון מצראי למשתי מיא מן נהרא:
wnwny dy bnhra thmwth wsry nhra wylawn mtsray lmshthy mya mn nhra
The fish that are in the river will die and the river will become foul. The Egyptians will loathe to drink water from the river.”’”

ואמר יי למשה אמר לאהרן טול חטרך וארים ידך על מיא דמצרים על נהריהון על ארתיהון ועל אגמיהון ועל כל בית כנישות מימיהון ויהון דמא ויהי דמא בכל ארעא דמצרים ובמני אעא ובמני אבנא:
wamr yy lmshh amr lahrn Twl khTrk warym ydk el mya dmtsrym el nhryhwn el arthyhwn wel agmyhwn wel kl byth knyshwth mymyhwn wyhwn dma wyhy dma bkl area dmtsrym wbmny aea wbmny abna
Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their ponds of water, that they may become blood. There will be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.’”

ועבדו כן משה ואהרן כמא דפקיד יי וארים בחטרא ומחא ית מיא די בנהרא לעיני פרעה ולעיני עבדוהי ואתהפיכו כל מיא די בנהרא לדמא:
webdw kn mshh wahrn kma dpqyd yy warym bkhTra wmkha yth mya dy bnhra leyny preh wleyny ebdwhy wathhpykw kl mya dy bnhra ldma
Moses and Aaron did so, as Yahweh commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and struck the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
21
ונוני די בנהרא מיתו וסרי נהרא ולא יכילו מצראי למשתי מיא מן נהרא והוה דמא בכל ארעא דמצרים:
wnwny dy bnhra mythw wsry nhra wla ykylw mtsray lmshthy mya mn nhra whwh dma bkl area dmtsrym
The fish that were in the river died. The river became foul. The Egyptians couldn’t drink water from the river. The blood was throughout all the land of Egypt.

ועבדו כן חרשי מצרים בלחשיהון ואתקף לבא דפרעה ולא קביל מנהון כמא דמליל יי:
webdw kn khrshy mtsrym blkhshyhwn wathqp lba dpreh wla qbyl mnhwn kma dmlyl yy
The magicians of Egypt did the same thing with their enchantments. So Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.
23
ואתפני פרעה ועל לביתיה ולא שוי לביה אף לדא:
wathpny preh wel lbythyh wla shwy lbyh ap lda
Pharaoh turned and went into his house, and he didn’t even take this to heart.
24
וחפרו כל מצראי סחרנות נהרא מיא למשתי ארי לא יכילו למשתי ממיא דנהרא:
wkhprw kl mtsray skhrnwth nhra mya lmshthy ary la ykylw lmshthy mmya dnhra
All the Egyptians dug around the river for water to drink; for they couldn’t drink the river water.
25
ואשלם שבעת יומין בתר דמחא יי ית נהרא:
washlm shbeth ywmyn bthr dmkha yy yth nhra
Seven days were fulfilled, after Yahweh had struck the river.
26
ואמר יי למשה עול לות פרעה ותימר ליה כדנן אמר יי שלח ית עמי ויפלחון קדמי:
wamr yy lmshh ewl lwth preh wthymr lyh kdnn amr yy shlkh yth emy wyplkhwn qdmy
27
ואם סריב את לשלחא הא אנא מחי ית כל תחומך בערדעניא:
wam sryb ath lshlkha ha ana mkhy yth kl thkhwmk berdenya
28
וירבי נהרא ערדעניא ויסקון ויעלון בביתך ובאדרון בית משכבך ועל ערסך ובבית עבדיך ובעמך ובתנורך ובאצותך:
wyrby nhra erdenya wysqwn wyelwn bbythk wbadrwn byth mshkbk wel ersk wbbyth ebdyk wbemk wbthnwrk wbatswthk
