ומשה הוה רעי ית ענא דיתרו חמוהי רבא דמדין ודבר ית ענא לבתר שפר רעיא למדברא ואתא לטורא דאתגלי עלוהי יקרא דיי לחורב:
lkhwrb dyy yqra elwhy dathgly lTwra watha lmdbra reya shpr lbthr ena yth wdbr dmdyn rba khmwhy dythrw ena yth rey hwh wmshh
Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.

ואתגלי מלאכא דיי לה בשלהובית אשתא מגו אסנא וחזא והא אסנא בער באשתא ואסנא ליתוהי מתאכיל:
mthakyl lythwhy wasna bashtha ber asna wha wkhza asna mgw ashtha bshlhwbyth lh dyy mlaka wathgly
Yahweh’s angel appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

ואמר משה אתפני כען ואחזי ית חזונא רבא הדין מא דין לא מתוקד אסנא:
asna mthwqd la dyn ma hdyn rba khzwna yth wakhzy ken athpny mshh wamr
Moses said, “I will go now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.”

וחזא יי ארי אתפני למחזי וקרא לה יי מגו אסנא ואמר משה משה ואמר הא אנא:
ana ha wamr mshh mshh wamr asna mgw yy lh wqra lmkhzy athpny ary yy wkhza
When Yahweh saw that he came over to see, God called to him out of the middle of the bush, and said, “Moses! Moses!” He said, “Here I am.”

ואמר לא תקרב הלכא שרי סינך מעל רגלך ארי אתרא דאת קאים עלוהי אתר קדיש הוא:
hwa qdysh athr elwhy qaym dath athra ary rglk mel synk shry hlka thqrb la wamr
He said, “Don’t come close. Take off your sandals, for the place you are standing on is holy ground.”

ואמר אנא אלהא דאבוך אלהא דאברהם אלהא דיצחק ואלהא דיעקב וכבשנון משה לאפוהי ארי דחיל מלאסתכלא בצית יקרא דיי:
dyy yqra btsyth mlasthkla dkhyl ary lapwhy mshh wkbshnwn dyeqb walha dytskhq alha dabrhm alha dabwk alha ana wamr
Moreover he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

ואמר יי מגלא גלי קדמי ית שעבוד עמי די במצרים וית קבלתהון שמיע קדמי מן קדם מפלחיהון ארי גלי קדמי ית כיביהון:
kybyhwn yth qdmy gly ary mplkhyhwn qdm mn qdmy shmye qblthhwn wyth bmtsrym dy emy shebwd yth qdmy gly mgla yy wamr
Yahweh said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

ואתגליתי לשזבותהון מידא דמצראי ולאסקותהון מן ארעא ההיא לארעא טבא ופתיא לארעא עבדא חלב ודבש לאתר כנענאי וחתאי ואמוראי ופרזאי וחואי ויבוסאי:
wybwsay wkhway wprzay wamwray wkhthay knenay lathr wdbsh khlb ebda larea wpthya Tba larea hhya area mn wlasqwthhwn dmtsray myda lshzbwthhwn wathglythy
I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

וכען הא קבילת בני ישראל עלת קדמי ואף גלי קדמי ית דוחקא די מצראי דחקין להון:
lhwn dkhqyn mtsray dy dwkhqa yth qdmy gly wap qdmy elth yshral bny qbylth ha wken
Now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

וכען איתא ואשלחנך לות פרעה ואפיק ית עמי בני ישראל ממצרים:
mmtsrym yshral bny emy yth wapyq preh lwth washlkhnk aytha wken
Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

ואמר משה קדם יי מן אנא ארי אזיל לות פרעה וארי אפיק ית בני ישראל ממצרים:
mmtsrym yshral bny yth apyq wary preh lwth azyl ary ana mn yy qdm mshh wamr
Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

ואמר ארי יהי מימרי בסעדך ודין לך אתא ארי אנא שלחתך באפקותך ית עמא ממצרים תפלחון קדם יי על טורא הדין:
hdyn Twra el yy qdm thplkhwn mmtsrym ema yth bapqwthk shlkhthk ana ary atha lk wdyn bsedk mymry yhy ary wamr
He said, “Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

ואמר משה קדם יי הא אנא אתי לות בני ישראל ואימר להון אלהא דאבהתכון שלחני לותכון ויימרון לי מא שמה מא אימר להון:
lhwn aymr ma shmh ma ly wyymrwn lwthkwn shlkhny dabhthkwn alha lhwn waymr yshral bny lwth athy ana ha yy qdm mshh wamr
Moses said to God, “Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what should I tell them?”

ואמר יי למשה אהיה אשר אהיה ואמר כדנן תימר לבני ישראל אהיה שלחני לותכון:
lwthkwn shlkhny ahyh yshral lbny thymr kdnn wamr ahyh ashr ahyh lmshh yy wamr
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

ואמר עוד יי למשה כדנן תימר לבני ישראל יי אלהא דאבהתכון אלהה דאברהם אלהה דיצחק ואלהה דיעקב שלחני לותכון דין שמי לעלם ודין דכרני לכל דר ודר:
wdr dr lkl dkrny wdyn lelm shmy dyn lwthkwn shlkhny dyeqb walhh dytskhq alhh dabrhm alhh dabhthkwn alha yy yshral lbny thymr kdnn lmshh yy ewd wamr
God said moreover to Moses, “You shall tell the children of Israel this, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.

אזיל ותכנוש ית סבי ישראל ותימר להון יי אלהא דאבהתכון אתגלי לי אלהה דאברהם יצחק ויעקב למימר מדכר דכירנא יתכון וית דאתעבד לכון במצרים:
bmtsrym lkwn dathebd wyth ythkwn dkyrna mdkr lmymr wyeqb ytskhq dabrhm alhh ly athgly dabhthkwn alha yy lhwn wthymr yshral sby yth wthknwsh azyl
Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and tell them, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has appeared to me, saying, “I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt.

ואמרית אסיק יתכון משעבוד מצראי לארע כנענאי וחתאי ואמוראי ופרזאי וחואי ויבוסאי לארעא עבדא חלב ודבש:
wdbsh khlb ebda larea wybwsay wkhway wprzay wamwray wkhthay knenay lare mtsray mshebwd ythkwn asyq wamryth
I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

ויקבלון למימרך ותיתי את וסבי ישראל לות מלכא דמצרים ותימרון לה יי אלהא דיהודאי אתקרי עלנא וכען נזיל כען מהלך תלתא יומין במדברא ונדבח קדם יי אלהנא:
alhna yy qdm wndbkh bmdbra ywmyn thltha mhlk ken nzyl wken elna athqry dyhwday alha yy lh wthymrwn dmtsrym mlka lwth yshral wsby ath wthythy lmymrk wyqblwn
They will listen to your voice. You shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you shall tell him, ‘Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Yahweh, our God.’
19
וקדמי גלי ארי לא ישבוק יתכון מלכא דמצרים למיזל ולא מן קדם דחילה תקיף:
thqyp dkhylh qdm mn wla lmyzl dmtsrym mlka ythkwn yshbwq la ary gly wqdmy
I know that the king of Egypt won’t give you permission to go, no, not by a mighty hand.

ואשלח פון ית מחת גברתי ואמחי ית מצראי בכל פרשותי די אעבד ביניהון ובתר כן ישלח יתכון:
ythkwn yshlkh kn wbthr bynyhwn aebd dy prshwthy bkl mtsray yth wamkhy gbrthy mkhth yth pwn washlkh
I will reach out my hand and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do among them, and after that he will let you go.
21
ואתן ית עמא הדין לרחמין בעיני מצראי ויהי ארי תהכון לא תהכון ריקנין:
ryqnyn thhkwn la thhkwn ary wyhy mtsray beyny lrkhmyn hdyn ema yth wathn
I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, and it will happen that when you go, you shall not go empty-handed.

ותשאל אתתא משבבתה ומקריבת ביתה מנין דכסף ומנין דדהב ולבושין ותשוון על בניכון ועל בנתיכון ותרוקנון ית מצרים:
mtsrym yth wthrwqnwn bnthykwn wel bnykwn el wthshwwn wlbwshyn ddhb wmnyn dksp mnyn bythh wmqrybth mshbbthh aththa wthshal
But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her who visits her house, jewels of silver, jewels of gold, and clothing. You shall put them on your sons, and on your daughters. You shall plunder the Egyptians.”
