ומשה הוה רעי ית ענא דיתרו חמוהי רבא דמדין ודבר ית ענא לבתר שפר רעיא למדברא ואתא לטורא דאתגלי עלוהי יקרא דיי לחורב:
wmshh hwh rey yth ena dythrw khmwhy rba dmdyn wdbr yth ena lbthr shpr reya lmdbra watha lTwra dathgly elwhy yqra dyy lkhwrb
Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.

ואתגלי מלאכא דיי לה בשלהובית אשתא מגו אסנא וחזא והא אסנא בער באשתא ואסנא ליתוהי מתאכיל:
wathgly mlaka dyy lh bshlhwbyth ashtha mgw asna wkhza wha asna ber bashtha wasna lythwhy mthakyl
Yahweh’s angel appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the middle of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

ואמר משה אתפני כען ואחזי ית חזונא רבא הדין מא דין לא מתוקד אסנא:
wamr mshh athpny ken wakhzy yth khzwna rba hdyn ma dyn la mthwqd asna
Moses said, “I will go now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.”

וחזא יי ארי אתפני למחזי וקרא לה יי מגו אסנא ואמר משה משה ואמר הא אנא:
wkhza yy ary athpny lmkhzy wqra lh yy mgw asna wamr mshh mshh wamr ha ana
When Yahweh saw that he came over to see, God called to him out of the middle of the bush, and said, “Moses! Moses!” He said, “Here I am.”

ואמר לא תקרב הלכא שרי סינך מעל רגלך ארי אתרא דאת קאים עלוהי אתר קדיש הוא:
wamr la thqrb hlka shry synk mel rglk ary athra dath qaym elwhy athr qdysh hwa
He said, “Don’t come close. Take off your sandals, for the place you are standing on is holy ground.”

ואמר אנא אלהא דאבוך אלהא דאברהם אלהא דיצחק ואלהא דיעקב וכבשנון משה לאפוהי ארי דחיל מלאסתכלא בצית יקרא דיי:
wamr ana alha dabwk alha dabrhm alha dytskhq walha dyeqb wkbshnwn mshh lapwhy ary dkhyl mlasthkla btsyth yqra dyy
Moreover he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

ואמר יי מגלא גלי קדמי ית שעבוד עמי די במצרים וית קבלתהון שמיע קדמי מן קדם מפלחיהון ארי גלי קדמי ית כיביהון:
wamr yy mgla gly qdmy yth shebwd emy dy bmtsrym wyth qblthhwn shmye qdmy mn qdm mplkhyhwn ary gly qdmy yth kybyhwn
Yahweh said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

ואתגליתי לשזבותהון מידא דמצראי ולאסקותהון מן ארעא ההיא לארעא טבא ופתיא לארעא עבדא חלב ודבש לאתר כנענאי וחתאי ואמוראי ופרזאי וחואי ויבוסאי:
wathglythy lshzbwthhwn myda dmtsray wlasqwthhwn mn area hhya larea Tba wpthya larea ebda khlb wdbsh lathr knenay wkhthay wamwray wprzay wkhway wybwsay
I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

וכען הא קבילת בני ישראל עלת קדמי ואף גלי קדמי ית דוחקא די מצראי דחקין להון:
wken ha qbylth bny yshral elth qdmy wap gly qdmy yth dwkhqa dy mtsray dkhqyn lhwn
Now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

וכען איתא ואשלחנך לות פרעה ואפיק ית עמי בני ישראל ממצרים:
wken aytha washlkhnk lwth preh wapyq yth emy bny yshral mmtsrym
Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

ואמר משה קדם יי מן אנא ארי אזיל לות פרעה וארי אפיק ית בני ישראל ממצרים:
wamr mshh qdm yy mn ana ary azyl lwth preh wary apyq yth bny yshral mmtsrym
Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”

ואמר ארי יהי מימרי בסעדך ודין לך אתא ארי אנא שלחתך באפקותך ית עמא ממצרים תפלחון קדם יי על טורא הדין:
wamr ary yhy mymry bsedk wdyn lk atha ary ana shlkhthk bapqwthk yth ema mmtsrym thplkhwn qdm yy el Twra hdyn
He said, “Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

ואמר משה קדם יי הא אנא אתי לות בני ישראל ואימר להון אלהא דאבהתכון שלחני לותכון ויימרון לי מא שמה מא אימר להון:
wamr mshh qdm yy ha ana athy lwth bny yshral waymr lhwn alha dabhthkwn shlkhny lwthkwn wyymrwn ly ma shmh ma aymr lhwn
Moses said to God, “Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what should I tell them?”

ואמר יי למשה אהיה אשר אהיה ואמר כדנן תימר לבני ישראל אהיה שלחני לותכון:
wamr yy lmshh ahyh ashr ahyh wamr kdnn thymr lbny yshral ahyh shlkhny lwthkwn
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel this: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

ואמר עוד יי למשה כדנן תימר לבני ישראל יי אלהא דאבהתכון אלהה דאברהם אלהה דיצחק ואלהה דיעקב שלחני לותכון דין שמי לעלם ודין דכרני לכל דר ודר:
wamr ewd yy lmshh kdnn thymr lbny yshral yy alha dabhthkwn alhh dabrhm alhh dytskhq walhh dyeqb shlkhny lwthkwn dyn shmy lelm wdyn dkrny lkl dr wdr
God said moreover to Moses, “You shall tell the children of Israel this, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.

אזיל ותכנוש ית סבי ישראל ותימר להון יי אלהא דאבהתכון אתגלי לי אלהה דאברהם יצחק ויעקב למימר מדכר דכירנא יתכון וית דאתעבד לכון במצרים:
azyl wthknwsh yth sby yshral wthymr lhwn yy alha dabhthkwn athgly ly alhh dabrhm ytskhq wyeqb lmymr mdkr dkyrna ythkwn wyth dathebd lkwn bmtsrym
Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and tell them, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has appeared to me, saying, “I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt.

ואמרית אסיק יתכון משעבוד מצראי לארע כנענאי וחתאי ואמוראי ופרזאי וחואי ויבוסאי לארעא עבדא חלב ודבש:
wamryth asyq ythkwn mshebwd mtsray lare knenay wkhthay wamwray wprzay wkhway wybwsay larea ebda khlb wdbsh
I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

ויקבלון למימרך ותיתי את וסבי ישראל לות מלכא דמצרים ותימרון לה יי אלהא דיהודאי אתקרי עלנא וכען נזיל כען מהלך תלתא יומין במדברא ונדבח קדם יי אלהנא:
wyqblwn lmymrk wthythy ath wsby yshral lwth mlka dmtsrym wthymrwn lh yy alha dyhwday athqry elna wken nzyl ken mhlk thltha ywmyn bmdbra wndbkh qdm yy alhna
They will listen to your voice. You shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you shall tell him, ‘Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Yahweh, our God.’
19
וקדמי גלי ארי לא ישבוק יתכון מלכא דמצרים למיזל ולא מן קדם דחילה תקיף:
wqdmy gly ary la yshbwq ythkwn mlka dmtsrym lmyzl wla mn qdm dkhylh thqyp
I know that the king of Egypt won’t give you permission to go, no, not by a mighty hand.
20
ואשלח פון ית מחת גברתי ואמחי ית מצראי בכל פרשותי די אעבד ביניהון ובתר כן ישלח יתכון:
washlkh pwn yth mkhth gbrthy wamkhy yth mtsray bkl prshwthy dy aebd bynyhwn wbthr kn yshlkh ythkwn
I will reach out my hand and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do among them, and after that he will let you go.
21
ואתן ית עמא הדין לרחמין בעיני מצראי ויהי ארי תהכון לא תהכון ריקנין:
wathn yth ema hdyn lrkhmyn beyny mtsray wyhy ary thhkwn la thhkwn ryqnyn
I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, and it will happen that when you go, you shall not go empty-handed.
22
ותשאל אתתא משבבתה ומקריבת ביתה מנין דכסף ומנין דדהב ולבושין ותשוון על בניכון ועל בנתיכון ותרוקנון ית מצרים:
wthshal aththa mshbbthh wmqrybth bythh mnyn dksp wmnyn ddhb wlbwshyn wthshwwn el bnykwn wel bnthykwn wthrwqnwn yth mtsrym
But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her who visits her house, jewels of silver, jewels of gold, and clothing. You shall put them on your sons, and on your daughters. You shall plunder the Egyptians.”
